serious question, are there ANY (wired) headsets made today anymore that have seperated plugs for audio and microphone??
usb ones always cause trouble and the only other ones i can find are those with combined audio+mic into one plug, which i dont have the ports on my PC for.............
i tried looking through adapters but the only ones i can find are those that combine seperate ones, id need the reverse (if thats even possible)
(visualization bc i feel like i am losing my sanity trying to explain what i mean, am i stupid? did i halluzinate the two jack/plug thing???? do only cheap garbage ones have this??? is that one of the gaming chair things??? like oh you want a GAMING headset- that means either combined or usb haHA???)

It’s a good development that more and more people are getting disillusioned with Biden because it means people aren’t supporting politicians uncritically despite having voted for them.
The next step to make the most of this is to also realize that Biden isn’t even an outstandingly bad or good president and is average in terms of human rights abuses. What is different about Biden is that COVID, an overly gung-ho US imperialist ally (Netanyahu), and following Trump have made it much harder to control the optics and veneer that the US normally maintains.
He isn’t any more or less genocidal than any of his predecessors or anyone else we’ve personally voted for in the past, but he’s having trouble maintaining the illusion that there is such a thing as a just United States. The curtain that is usually there has been torn by a confluence of events and the machinery that has always been here is easier to see.

I started work on revising/expanding my old ME/CFS history posts so I can post them here. In the year or so since I wrote the first one I've come across a lot more information while idly researching (it's rabbit hole after rabbit hole) much of it uncovered by other patient-researchers. Part One and Two are more than likely going to feature extensive rewrites, they'll probably double in length. I'm wondering if I should further break it up or just consolidate everything into one big post. All together it's around 20,000 words at the moment. I'm not going to guess at an ETA, my energy levels have been incredibly fucked up and variable lately.

I had to do 10 minutes of bike cardio at physio today and I was all excited that I'd found my recently misplaced headphones so I could listen to my music while I cycled
I queued up a playlist of good stupid music and went to plug in my headphones and
My new phone. Does not have. A headphone jack
THE S21 FE DOES NOT HAVE A HEADPHONE JACK
WHAT THE FUCK
I was absolutely enraged. Like, tears-in-my-eyes absolutely livid. I bought this phone via the phone company and it was one of only 2 options and the person I spoke to did not once mention this
I was so mad. I pedaled the fuck out of that exercise bike for longer than I ever managed to before
My legs are very tired
When I got home I learned hubby has a usbc to audio adapter I can use next time, though it is bulky and annoying
One of the reasons I was loyal to Samsung is cuz they weren't doing this stupid removing-features-for-no-reason-except-to-look-slim-and-cool bullshit
They have betrayed me
And now I'm stuck with this bitch

People tend to vastly underestimate their ability to pick up a new hobby/skill. Like, being bad at a subject at school doesn't mean being as bad when you're adult 'cause at that point you have more awareness of your body and mind.
Ironically, because of this awareness learning to slightly bend to the left of your usual patterns feels frustrating, but that's what you do when you learn! And adults don't have to bend as much in the beginning.
There's so many people that say that they cannot draw at all but if you ask them to draw a scheme of the body the strokes would be straight and proportions would be rougly correct. There's so many people that say they're have no musical ability when they have relative pitch and a good sense of rhytm. Being bad at making clay figurine at 6 is vastly different from doing it at 34 'cause 6 year olds cannot even hold a pen reliably.
The flip side is when adults blast through the beginning lessons at a machspeed they may get bigheaded.
