Actually, I think Elain and Lucien have a cottage right smack bang in the point where Summer, Autumn and Spring join up. And the house is split into thirds, each being affected by the different seasons. The Autumn side it all reds, oranges, dark woods and dead leaves. The Spring side is all green, blooming flowers and smelling of sweet new beds. And the Summer side is all white and smells like tropical fruit.

And they live there and Elain has a garden split into three that wraps around the entire house, they have a wrap around porch and three sets of rocking chairs at each season depending on where they want to sit at sunset. All the sunsets look different in each seasonal sky.

And they have three dogs that continuously run around the house, delighted by the changes in season, and a cat that sits contently on Elain's lap.

And they just wake up stress free every lazy morning, and have walks through each season. And sometimes they travel to different continents, and other Courts to explore and visit their friends, but ultimately they go home to their little secluded spot where it's just them and their happy little world.

The day started pretty uneventfully, with a visit from Euclid's baby brother Fabio Vasquez signalling that it was time to build a new dinosaur museum. Hey, no arguments here. Dinosaur museums are kickass.

Vasquez–who is a bug person, for some reason–was immediately pulled aside by his big sister to organise a hit on the guy who thought it was a good idea to send a marriage proposal to the psychopathic gay genie who is part of a cannibal cult.

We were going to turn these refugees away since we're only just getting back on our feet after our hasty relocation to Loyalty's Meander, but then some mechanoids attacked, and we decided we could use the cannon fodder help.

The refugees conveniently entered the map close to where the biggest group of mechanoids had landed and did a very decent job of distracting them for all of two seconds...

Before the refugees were all downed, the yttakin among them had the chance to use his animal warcall ability on a nearby megasloth. The megasloth lasted much longer against the mechanoids than the refugees did but was eventually downed.

Then, finally, the mechanoids stumbled into the trade caravan that Euclid's brother had come with (you can see Vasquez on the far left in the screenshot), and that, at last, was enough to destroy them.

And then, someone rescued one of the downed refugee children (without my permission, I might add), and it's Adrián's daughter!!! Adrián who made me laugh so hard I cried back in Monster's Basin!!! It's a small Rim.

For that reason alone, she will be tended to and allowed to live to choose how she proceeds in life without her other refugee companions.

#i dont think they are greedy corporate monsters. i think they are creators trying to run a business with no knowledge on how to do that #icarus flying too close to the sun and all that #is just so clear they didn't make any kind of market research #a youtube poll would have helped them #is just a shitty thing because they clearly just want to have more creative freedom and do bigger things #but if you are running a business then you also need to think about your audience. which i don't think they did #and the international issue with dollars in this economy #+ the need to use a vpn in order to watch in certain countries apparently #+ an audience of mostly 20 somethings and younger people who have other priorities #and like nearly every single person that i've seen that actually likes this idea. has also said that are not paying #because they can't afford it. so even if people were on board with this. is just not viable with their audience #like sorry. but 'streaming service' is not plan b on the list of things to if you dont wanna rely so much on ads #and them doing a 14min long video that is edited like a shitty corporate apology video #in which you say 'if you can't give us money. bye ig' while promoting #a show about people traveling to dif places and paying expensive meals #while also saying you have no money to pay your 25!!! employees #not to mention not clarifying anything and leaving everything in vague terms #like international issues. whether you are deleting your previous youtube content or not (they don't say anything about this on the vid....#.... Variety said they were gonna do it. but then they did the pinned comment so it feels like they are backtracking...#...even if they were never gonna delete it)#what newer content you want to make. the pros you get subscribing #broken record with this. but watch the og dropout ad. its clear. adresses concerns. tells you what shows would be available #and the one moment that they use sad piano music is used with irony #ok. no further comments until they say something lol #watcher #my post

i know i'm The Guy who never shuts up about people, especially modern-day professional wrestling fans with little to no awareness of pre-1980's wrestling, needing to read death of the territories. However. bodyslams in buffalo by dan murphy opens with the best overview of the entire history of professional wrestling i've found yet and, overall, it's a much shorter book that doesn't read like a textbook

this is a greatly accessible alternative for anyone who felt overwhelmed by death of the territories' scope, constant stream of factual information with little reprieve, and serious/academic overtone. bodyslams in buffalo has humour, dramatised retellings of events, and exclusive/rarely seen photos from the collections of both pro wrestling illustrated and the families of wrestlers. also: transcribed promotional posters, news articles, and advertisements! highly recommend

and don't forget to continue engaging in active boycotts, demonstrations, letter/email writing, awareness raising, and direct action in support of palestinian freedom and in opposition to the genocide of palestinians.

So before I went on my study abroad program, the school gave us a pamphlet that warned us that while traveling we would experience a "W" of feelings.

When we first got there it'd be so exciting that we'd initially be at the top of the beginning of the W The longer we were gone from home and the more culture shock we experienced, those feelings would dip into homesickness and missing people: the first bottom of the W But after that, our emotions would level out again back up to where we miss home a little less and appreciate where we are (and then we experience it all over again when we come home: the second dip in the W)

I feel like, for Ted, we started s3 at the bottom of the first dip, but then saw him go back up the other side throughout the season.

Which is why when people say that he started off sad and questioning so of course he had to go back, that just doesn't make sense to me.

'Cause of course his excitement levels for being in a new place dipped and his homesickness increased, that literally happens to everyone when they travel long term

And yeah, if Henry and Michelle had moved to England, they'd experience that first U, but it'd probably be easier for them than Ted, considering how often they'd visited and the community they already had waiting for them

#I just honestly don't understand people who act like them moving to england would cause some sort of long term psychological damage in Henry #kids traveling or moving and growing up in another culture isn't child abuse #it's actually showing them that there's a whole world out there that is so completely different from a small town in a flyover state #that it could only help henry to become a more open and understanding person as he grows up #ted lasso #ted lasso spoilers #we deserved to see ted and michelle discussing options and some of their pro/con list #IF ted even told michelle about rebecca's offer to move and fund her

Week 52.3/52: December 25th - December 31st 2023 | Hai Di Lao with Charmy 🍅

5 months no see her. A nice and long lunch with Charmy over some yum yum soupy hot pots. We got two soup bases: tomato & tom yom. Soup for both were so good. Mostly ordered veggies like corn, potato, greens, and tofu puffs. I also got a cheap plate of beef for myself. It was a good time catching up! She takes the nicest photos for me, I swear. After eating, we walked around Richmond Center. I got some stuff from MUJI as well as the Jo Malone perfume I have been wanting for over a year!
