Your energy goes where your focus goes. What are you focusing on? What are you thinking about? What do you want? Keep your eye on your “prize” and stay focused on what you WANT (vs what you don’t want). The key is to constantly be thinking about what we WANT, so the Universe can carry us towards it (like hitting a bullseye on our targets 🎯). Our FOCUS (plus taking inspired action) builds momentum, pushing us further faster towards our desires and goals... We should be asking ourselves: WHY do I want this so badly? (the WHY drives desire, motivation and inspiration). The HOW, on the other hand, requires our TRUST and SURRENDER. HOW something happens is usually never the way we expect. I was contemplating the concepts of “holding on” vs. “letting go” vs. “holding back”. How they each affect us, goes back to our beliefs, and how we process information (based on our past experiences). What I realized is that I am currently dealing with issues of “holding back”. And by “holding back”, I mean holding myself back, hiding (and protecting) myself and my heart. “Holding (myself) back” suggests to me that I am not being totally authentic because on some level I feel the “need” to “hold myself back”, to protect myself for fear of getting hurt. So I don’t let others SEE all of me (I keep parts of myself hidden). The truth is, at some point “holding myself back”, was my egos way of PROTECTING me. I NOW know and understand that my ability and desire to allow others to SEE me for who I truly am, leaves me feeling OPEN and VULNERABLE, which can be SO scary!!! I NOW also understand the same process (of holding myself back to protect myself), is now hindering me and preventing me from connecting to ALL THAT I AM!!! So the questions I asked myself: Do I Trust Myself? Am I ready to be Seen for Who I Truly Am? YES!!!! And YES!!!! Those are my BIG questions. It’s no longer about feeling “safe” or “protected”, it’s really about TRUST. And NOT trusting another person, it’s about TRUSTING MYSELF at the deepest level that exists within me...my SOUL. Do you TRUST YOURSELF? Are you ready to be SEEN for who you TRULY are? Are you ready to share YOURSELF (your LIGHT) with the world? Do you keep parts of yourself hidden? As we EXPAND and GROW, our ego fears (actually is terrified) of losing control, and can set us on what can feel like a trail of destructive thoughts (which can lead to destructive behaviors). Fearful thoughts about what we have or don’t have, who we are, confusion, uncertainty, feeling lost, etc. Our egos want control, need control and seek control in every area of our lives. And in order keep control, our egos will relay messages (through our thoughts) of NOT being enough...good enough, valuable enough, worthy enough, important enough, deserving, smart enough, etc. Our egos want to keep us SMALL so it can stay in “control” of us through our THOUGHTS. And as we expand and grow out of our egos into our Higherselves, our egos literally “fight” to maintain and sustain control. It can sometimes feel like an internal battle, a conflict within; a battle between our heads vs. our hearts. Conflict between our Soul’s truth vs our ego’s truth... Based on the way I’ve been feeling the last couple of days, I realized MY GROWTH is showing up as resistance within me. Holding on, fear of the unknown. I’m OPENING (my heart) and my ego is testing me beyond right now, my ego is fighting for control... I feel DEEPLY GRATEFUL because this intense discomfort is a sign of GREAT PERSONAL GROWTH. I’m GRATEFUL beyond for this opportunity to GROW through this!!! I know great BEAUTY exists in the other side of this for me... How are you feeling right now?
