Other trans people are not your enemy.

This goes for both trans women & fems and trans men & mascs. There are popular trans women twitter accounts telling young trans women that trans men do not care about them and simultaneously denying trans men face any transphobia, there are popular trans men on tumblr telling young trans men that trans women do not care about our oppression, pointing to the lack of talk about murdered trans men as proof.

And some of these points are fair, we should listen to each other more about our struggles. But you are making that difficult. Do you think a trans woman wants to listen to someone who accuses all trans women of hating trans men and not caring about our struggles? Do you think trans men want to listen to someone who says tells people that trans men are future terfs and will never care about trans womens struggles?

Are we not all just sides of the same dice? Are we not all facing oppression from transphobes? Terfs write books about how trans men are mutilating themselves and articles about predatory trans women in bathrooms, republicans fund legislation targeting trans surgeries and hormones, which affects all of us.

And even if we did not face the same struggles, why are we divided? Again, are we not all the same, simply trying to be ourselves in our own bodies? We can each talk about our own struggles, the difficulties we face and the joys we experience without the opposite being true of the other, infact more often than not it's extremely similar and I think we'd benefit from listening to each other more.

A woman’s husband, father, brother, and male friends are statistically the most likely men to abuse, rape, and murder her. All of which are the men we are conditioned to view as our protectors.

Similarly, cops, soldiers, and military men have higher rates of domestic violence and sexual assault than the general male population. All of which are men we are conditioned to view as self-sacrificing heroes.

The very few men that women are supposed to be able to trust, are in actuality her biggest threat. How demonic is that. The safest and most feminist action a woman could ever make is to be a female separatist.

Most people are acutely unaware of the fact that educated individuals make up a very small part of the population. Your access to internet, online discourse, books and other resources is a privilege. When you surround yourself with the elite, you will inevitably have a warped narrative of the reality. This is why lot of women in the West believe feminism isn't necessary.

Their skulls are not bashed by their father for not wearing a hijab nor are they paraded naked as a war prize. Their bodies are not marred to make them ugly enough to prevent soldier rape. Their bones are not broken to make them unable to run away when their husband forces himself upon them. Their genitals aren't mutilated; they aren't stoned to death for going to school. They can vote. They can learn. They can flourish. Yet, most women in the world slave away just for the sin of being born a woman.

The haunting part is that they know. They are aware of the way the western society punishes them. They are aware of the damger that looms over them. They know that they cannot escape the inertia of patriarchy. Yet, they close their eyes and ears. They are willing to jeopardize billions of women to protect themselves and reap the benefits of the small power bestowed upon them, clinging under the cast of their elite class. Their selfish desire overpowers their gulit and thus is destroyed the female solidarity.

They have tags for rad feminism, "gynocentricism", "womb envy", antiprostitution, and separatists tags along with other similar terminology in terf and swerf communities on their blog. It's literally within the most used tags when you go to search. Plus they used to reblog from terfs often enough and use said tags until they decided to be a lil more cryptic I guess....

Like its proto-terf ideology to imply Masculinity as suffering/violent/wrong and Femininity as healing/good/correct. It's the foundation of treating bi identity as traitorous which is covered in Sharon Dale Stone's "Bisexual Women and the "Threat" To Lesbian Space: Or What If All The Lesbians Leave?" That lead to the same transphobia that caused Sandy Stone to lose her job with Olivia Records, that threatened her life, that harmed Nancy Jean Burkholder at the 1991 Michigan's Women's Musical Festival, continues to harm trans women to this day and trans men who are frequently left out or entirely forgotten about in these discussions just like nonbinary people who are forced into a binary.

Like Idk think for two seconds how that implication paints trans mascs because we're choosing the identity that is being described as suffering, freakish and wrong rather than remaining feminine which is described as liberating and good. Its one thing to celebrate femininity and another to re-enforce the very narrative that harms all trans, gnc and nonbinary people.

Separatism is never the answer. All it does is make all of us more vulnerable, and create spaces full of isolated people who are much more easily manipulated and abused by bad-faith actors.

If men want a community where its just men and they hate on women im entirely fine with that because thats essentially what most of us do/want, but the majority of mysoginists hate/kill/rape/assault/degrade women while being surrounded by them. While seeking a wife, having a daughter, a mother. While going out and making women feel unsafe, killing them, raping them. They hate women yet they want to be around women.

This is the same argument I use when people try to compare female seperatism and misandry with "what men are doing right now". Name one woman who has killed a man for no other reason but being a man. No female seperatist that hates on men while seeking one out.

My issue is that men hate us. They kill us and they rape us and they put us down and oppress us and they still want us around. I would love male seperatism, if they wanted to stay on their own and marry eachother and co exist and hate on women from afar, i would love that.

They dont. They want us to know and they want us to hurt.

Women's existence as a social class is a profound reality. The poorest man-bruised and battered by the capitalists- still has access to the labour of a woman-his wife. With what little strength he posseses, he exploits her cooking, her cleaning and ofcourse her sex. Misogyny is the oldest form of slavery. When it comes down to men and women, no barriers of race, caste, creed or class prevent men from abusing women. The belief that women of upper station live in ivory towers that shield them from sex based oppression needs to die. The hold of patriarchy upon them is albeit light; howerver, you cant dismiss that their performance of feminity is also a show for the poorest of men. The poor man is a sex buyer, a wife beater and a rapist. His poverty does not dissuade him from committing violence against women. Unlike women, it does not make him more vulnerable to sexual exploitation. Removing class will not dismantle the patriarchy for men will hate and violate all women regardless, be they rich or poor.
