“It’s Playtime!” by @hypergnomesimblr & @sisselin

Behold, the Playtime Stuff Pack: A CC collab project between HyperGnome and @sisselin ! This is my part of the collab. It contains a (whopping) total of 59 Build/Buy and CAS items. I mostly went for a Fisher-Price Little People/preschool-ish theme on the furniture, hint, the bright colors and chunky plastic furniture. My main focus had shifted to the build mode items, but I still threw in some new threads for your tots and kids. I’m gonna keep the rambling short and cut to the chase.

This is my side of the collab, but you need to hurry over to Sisselin’s side of the collab! She has a whole bunch of amazing furniture and even new toys and playground equipment for your ‘lil ‘uns, not to mention lots of cute hairs and clothing! Go-go-go! >🌺🌺🌺

1) All CC in this pack (both mine and Sisselin’s) come with a custom thumbnail with this cute little icon take make searching a bit easier:

2) Also our Build/Buy Mode objects have the initials “PSP” before the actual name of the object for easier search. Here’s a handy-dandy tip from the amazingly talented @peacemaker-ic you could use to find all of our items in one place. Really simple and quick, instead you just type in “PSP” to find all of the items from the Playtime Stuff Pack. Works with almost any item that has the same unique name, kinda like Maxis’s Mega furniture.

Feel free to recolor or edit! Yep! You can include the mesh, too! I have a very lax TOU. I don’t even think I should consider it a TOU. But feel free to check it out if you like reading the boring technical stuff.

For me, it is photography, painting, embroidery, and as of recently, jewelry-making. Donc!! (So!) Parson started playing NHL hockey long before Jack did. Well, maybe not that too long before but hockey will batter you up rather quickly. So after all these years, at the ripe old age for an athlete at 40, Parse is retiring.

Jack and Bitty had called him the day he made the announcement saying they booked tickets right away.

He couldn’t be any happier.

It’s been months since he’s seen his boys and quite frankly, he misses them more than he ever thought he could. And after stopping the sport he has played for 35 years, he could use a few familiar, and loving faces.

They arrive at 2:33pm into LAX, in the middle of july, so it’s sweltering outside. sweat is racing down his back but not as fast as Parse is running to greet Jack and Bitty. He reaches out, missing their touch after these long long months, and hugs them.

it’s a tight hug, and awkward cause Bitty still has a carry-on slung around his back. But dear god is it what Parse needed right now. It lasts longer than it probablt should, not because of publicity per se but because of the traffic jam they’re causing in the baggage claim area.

“I’ve missed you, you LA retiree.” Bitty winks.

Hey happy birthday vex! its a.s. right now not my sis right now she has writers block but I actually want to know if tou can do us blue owning a honey bo and and us pap owning a cherry coral? If you can, happy birthday vex!

(Not So) Terrible Owners

Blue bounced excitedly. He couldn’t wait for Papy to get home; he had the biggest and best surprise to show him! On his daily walk through town, Blue had stumbled across a Bittybones Adoption Center, and this was no ordinary bitty shop either because all of the miniature monsters were skeletons with snake bodies. Of course he’d adopted a Honey Bo, a lamia that resembled his brother with a thick bright orange tail.

The moment Papyrus walked through the door, Blue leapt forward to tackle hug him, but Papy caught him and held him back.

“hold on, Blue, i’ve got something to show you, and i don’t want you to crush him,” Papy explained gently.

“I’VE GOT SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU TOO!” Blue shouted, wiggling with anticipation.

“same time?” suggested Papyrus, reaching into his hoodie pocket. Blue nodded, fishing around in his scarf.

Nothing happened. The skeletons brothers awkwardly riffled through their clothing but produced no surprises other than their empty hands. Blue puffed out his cheeks in consternation. His new Honey Bo reminded him of his brother already, disappearing instead of doing something important!

Papy chuckled nervously, taking off his hoodie and shaking it gently until finally a miniature Coral lamia fell out into his hands. Forgetting about the frustrations of his own missing lamia for a moment, Blue’s eyelights turned to stars.

“WOWIE!” Blue’s loud voice startled the lamia, who happened to be a nervous Cherry-type. The lamia bitty bit Papy on the hand in fright, and when the tall skeleton loosened his grip to check the bite mark, the Coral dropped from his grasp and scooted under the couch to hide.

“ARE YOU OK, PAPY?” Blue looked at the oozing wound on his brother’s hand in concern.

“yeah, bro, they’re only a little bit venomous,” said Papy with a wince as he carefully injected a small amount of anti-venom (included with every Coral adoption for just such occasions!) into the laceration.

“I GOT A LAMIA TOO. HE LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU, BUT HE DISAPPEARED SOMEWHERE,” pouted Blue.

“probably took a shortcut to my honey stash,” joked Papy, but Blue appeared to be lost in thought, bony brow furrowed in concern.

“WE LOST OUR LAMIAS, PAPY. WE’RE TERRIBLE OWNERS!” Blue wailed.

Papy swept the smaller skeleton up into a hug. “nah, the lamias are just getting used to their new surroundings. we’ll look for them later, ok?” Blue sniffled, giving a shaky and uncertain nod.

The Honey Bo yawned and nestled down into the laundry basket, basking in the warmth of freshly dried and folded clothing. He’d teleported away the moment Blue entered the house. Being adopted was exhausting, and he suspected that a prim and proper monster like Blue would have a stash of napping laundry somewhere in the house.

He’d just begun to doze off when he heard the sound of slithering scales approaching. Lazily opening one socket, he spotted a shy Coral bitty peeking into the laundry room, his gaze darting left and right as if suspicious of some sort of fabric-centric trap. When the Coral saw that the room already had an occupant, he started to duck out of sight.

“room for one more,” hissed the Honey Bo invitingly, patting the clean, warm laundry next to him with his tail. The Coral only hesitated for a split second before joining the Honey Bo in his warm nest.

Blue and Papy stood in the doorway to the laundry room. Blue had come to collect his laundry basket of clean clothes to put them away and discovered their lamias. He’d hurried to bring Papy over to see the scene for himself. The skeleton brothers quietly watched as their two newly-adopted bittybones napped together, bodies pressed close and tails loosely entwined.

“We’re great owners,” whispered Blue reverently. His eyelights morphed into shimmering stars.

“sure are,” agreed Papy, snapping a quick picture of the dozing duo with his phone. Neither lamia stirred.

The freshly cleaned clothing never did find its way to Blue’s drawer and Papy’s bedroom floor, but it did eventually become the home of a small clutch of lamia bittybones eggs.

Le bitty Edgy frappait contre les murs du contenaire de plastique et tu levas les yeux au ciel, pas pour la première fois, ce jour-là. Tu pouvais entendre des jurons étouffés en provenant et enfila tes gants de métal renforcés en préparation de ce qui t'attendais. Tu dévissas rapidement le couvercle, assurée par l'idée que les rebords de la table activeraient le collier électrique du bitty, et ouvris la boite. L'edgy en tomba, dérapant le long de la surface stérile et te jeta un regard noir. Il mordit dans les airs une fois ou deux et grogna, mais tu n'étais pas inquiète. Ce n'était pas ton premier rodéo.

" Donc, Edgy, est-ce que tu sais pourquoi t'es là ? " Tu demanda, presque ennuyée.

" Sale pute ! Retire-moi ce collier et laisse-moi partir ! " Le bitty hurla, sans surprise. Tu gardas une expression neutre.

" Eh bien, ça ne risque pas d'arriver. Étant donné que tu n'es pas assez intelligent pour répondre à une question directe, je vais me contenter de te le dire. Tu es ici à cause de ton propriétaire..." Et là, tu jeta un coup d’œil au dossier près de toi. "Anna, t'as amené chez moi pour un léger... reconditionnement. "

" D-de quoi ? Tu mens ! " Insista Edgy. Tu les appelais tous Edgy. Ça ne valait pas le coup de chercher quel nom idiot leur propriétaire leur avait donné, et ça avait l'effet bonus de leur donner l'impression que leur identité n'avait pas la moindre importance. Elle n'en avait pas, mais la plupart n'étaient pas prêts à l'accepter.

" Non, en fait, je ne mens pas. " Tu offris un petit sourire. " Elle était contrariée de ton comportement alors tu es ici pour devenir un meilleur bitty ! " Ta voix avait des allures de maîtresse de maternelle.

" Tu mens ! Elle ne ferait pas ça ! Maman disait... Elle disait qu'elle m'aimait comme j'étais ! " Le visage du bitty devenait rougeâtre et tu t'applaudis mentalement. Commencer par la trahison du propriétaire était ton coup préféré.

" Tu peux croire ce que tu veux, mais les faits sont là: Elle t'as mis dans cette boite et t'as amené chez moi. " Tu répondis. " Pourquoi aurait-elle fait cela si elle t'aimait ? Ça ne semble pas plus logique qu'elle voulait que tu change ? "

" Va te faire foutre, salope d'humaine ! " Dit l'Edgy en guise de réponse, se jetant vers le rebord de la table, probablement pour attaquer, et s'octroyant un douloureux choc alors que tu le repoussa vers le centre de la table.

" C'est ce qui arrive quand tu n'écoutes pas, ou si tu essaies de descendre de cette table. " Tu dis. " Je vais me répéter encore une fois. Tu es ici parce que ton propriétaire veut que tu deviennes un meilleur bitty. Un qui ne va pas la mordre, ou l'appeler sale pute ou salope, ou casser ses affaires pour s'amuser. " Tu remarquas que le regard noir du bitty se troubla juste un chouïa, se rendant intérieurement compte qu'il avait fait la plupart, sinon toutes ces choses. C'étaient des présomptions faciles à faire, avec son type. " Elle veut un bitty qu'elle puisse emmener en sortie avec ses amis, ou faire les courses, sans qu'elle ait à s'inquiéter qu'on porte plainte contre elle lorsque tu attaques quelqu'un. " L'expression de l'Edgy se décomposa plus amplement, et il fixa les lacets de ses petites baskets. Tu savais désormais que tu l'avais dans la poche.

" T'as... T'as tord ! Elle me veut moi, elle veut un Edgy ! Elle m'a choisi ! " Tu pouvais entendre quelque chose d'étouffé et d'hésitant dans la voix du bitty, un excellent présage. Il était vulnérable et se sentait peu confiant.

" Elle t'as probablement choisi car tu coûtais pas cher. Personne ne veut vraiment d'un Edgy. " Que tu expliquas avant d'appuyer sur le bouton pour activer le collier électrique à son réglage le plus élevé.

" Owww ! Mais putain ! " L'Edgy en question couina, bondissant de la surface de la table. " C'était pourquoi, ça ?! "

" Tu vois, ce qu'on va faire aujourd'hui, " Tu continuas comme s'il n'avait pas parlé, " C'est faire quelques changements. Tu vas avoir mal, et tu vas pleurer, et tu vas devenir un animal de compagnie qui n'est pas dangereux pour Anna. " Tu appuyas à nouveau sur le bouton et le maintins, regardant l'Edgy serrer les dents, trembler, et tomber à genoux. Oh, il s'était fait dessus. Rien de grave, il aura de nouveaux vêtements quand tu en auras fini avec lui. Le bitty parvint à se remettre sur ses pieds une nouvelle fois, mais était essoufflé comme s'il avait couru un marathon.

" Boucle-la... " Il grinça des dents.

" Tu es le pire genre de bitty qui soit," tu dis et lui envoya une autre secousse, brièvement. " Tu as rendue misérable la vie d'Anna. " Un autre choc électrique, directement dans sa moelle épinière.

" Arrête ça... " Le bitty suffoquait, les bras enlacés contre lui-même, comme pour se réconforter face à la douleur.

" Tel que tu es, tu pourrais servir de jouet pour chien mais pas à grand chose d'autre." Tu continuas. " Et au fond, tu le sais. " L'Edgy tomba à genoux dans sa propre flaque de déchets magiques, gémissant lourdement.

" Va.... Te faire... " Il lâcha avec difficulté. Tu maintins le bouton un peu plus longtemps, juste pour sa vulgarité.

" T'es un déchet, Edgy. T'es un détritus ayant la forme d'un squelette et ta précieuse maman le savait. Elle ne veut pas de toi. Personne ne veut de toi. Personne ne veut d'un déchet d'animal de compagnie qui ne fait rien sinon blesser les gens et bousiller leurs affaires. " Là, tu arrivais quelque part. La décharge avec laquelle tu ponctua cette phrase fit valser le petit corps du bitty, mais il ne lâcha pas le moindre bruit.

" Tu es inutile. " Tu appuyas. " Et je veux que tu saches... " Tu retiras ta main de la télécommande. Edgy te regarda dans son court répit face à la douleur, les yeux brillants et le souffle difficile. Un rougissement traître commençant à apparaitre sur ses petites pommettes. " Tu sais ce qu'Anna m'a dit quand elle t'as laissé là ? "

Le bitty secoua la tête et laissa échapper un petit reniflement.

Tu dû vraiment faire de ton mieux pour dissimuler ton sourire. C'était l'heure du grand final. " Elle m'a dit que si je ne pouvais pas faire de toi un bon bitty, je devais te mettre dans ce mixeur et briser le moindre de tes os inutiles. " Tu achevas, sortant un mixeur à épices de sous la table.

Edgy se brisa enfin, les larmes coulant de ses yeux et un hurlement échappant de sa bouche à travers ses dents tranchantes. " N-n-non, pitié, pitié, me tue pas - " Et là, il laissa filer un cri aigu, parce que t'avais avancé ta main et avais brisé sa jambe droite presque en deux au niveau du tibia. Ce coup final de douleur terrible l'avait fait. Le bitty pleura et pleura, roulant le long de la table et globalement se ridiculisant au possible pendant cinq bonnes minutes, avant qu'il ne semble en avoir fini. " Qui es-tu ? " Tu demanda, joignant tes mains dans ton dos. Le bitty ne répondit pas immédiatement et tu appuyas sur le bouton de la télécommande encore une fois.

" Aiiiiiiiie ! " Hurla le bitty, les larmes coulant immédiatement à flots de ses orbites.

" Qui es-tu, bitty ? " Tu demanda à nouveau.

" Ch-Cherry. J'suis... Cherry. " Le bitty répondit, reniflant et maintenant fermement sa jambe brisée. Il malmena accidentellement le membre, lui causant un couinement et quelques larmes supplémentaires.

" Bon bitty, Cherry. C'est exactement ce que je voulais." Tu répondis. " C'est beaucoup mieux. " Tu cherchas à nouveau quelque chose sous la table, en sortant un morceau de nourriture monstre et le tendant au squelette tremblant. il l'avala avec hésitation et l'os brisé de sa jambe refusionna en un seul morceau. La partie difficile était terminée, maintenant, et ton job l'était tout autant. Quand Bitty Buddies Inc en avait eue assez des poursuites en justice sur des Edgies mordant les gens, et que la cour eut déclaré ces dites blessures comme étant la stricte responsabilité de l'entreprise, la compagnie décida que le style Edgy coûtait plus en procédures judiciaires que ça n'en valait la peine. Ils rappelèrent la série entière, promettant des compensations massives à ceux qui ramenaient les leurs, ce que la plupart des propriétaires furent heureux de faire. Pour ceux qui ne voulurent pas abandonner leur bittys pour de l'argent, Bitty Buddies réfléchi à une autre solution- une manière de faire d'un vicieux Edgy prône à la morsure quelque chose de différent, plus gentil, moins dangereux à la fois pour les enfants et les adultes.

Avec assez de douleur émotionnelle et physique combinée, un Edgy pouvait être changé en un Cherry. Bien plus placide, bien moins en risque de causer des dégâts matériels et, mieux que tout - plus de poursuites judiciaires pour morsures. Les Cherrys étaient anxieux, pots de colle, prône à pleurnicher; pour faire court, ils étaient agaçants d'une manière qui ne jetterait personne en plein procès. Tu croyais qu'il restait très peu d'Edgys restant dans le monde et qui le resteraient comme tels; d'après les chiffres de Bitty Buddies, 70% des Edgys avaient été ramenés pour destruction contre un gros chèque, tandis que 25% avaient étés envoyés dans des entreprises comme la tienne pour avoir leurs vilains traits retirés. Ce n'était qu'à moitié vrai, mais l'amnésie partielle causée par le changement et les méthodes de soins monstres de la compagnie rendait tout cela crédible pour n'importe qui de l'extérieur.

Faire le changement, activer l'interrupteur ? C'est là que tu intervenais. Ces petites bâtards le méritaient, tu te dis avec une grimace, repensant à l'Edgy de compagnie dont la morsure avait tranché net l'index de ta jeune sœur lorsqu'elle était bébé. Repensant à combien ta famille avait été gentille envers lui, envers " Spike ", repensant à tous les jouets et les vêtements que tu avais acheté en anticipation d'une longue et heureuse vie à ses côtés, repensant aux cris de ta sœur alors qu'elle n'avait fait qu'essayer de le porter pour la première fois. Repensant à la manière dont ton père eut à l'euthanasier le même jour, écrabouillé sous ses lourdes bottes de travail sur le patio extérieur.

Le Cherry tout neuf sur la table te fixait avec de grands yeux larmoyants. " Est-ce que je suis ton bitty ? " Il demanda, tendant ses bras comme pour te demander de le porter.

" Non." Tu répondis. " Mais tu vas rentrer à la maison très bientôt. " Tu utilisas le talkie-walkie suspendu à ta hanche pour informer un des employés polyvalents que cet ancien Edgy était prêt pour l'étape suivante de la Cherryfication, et le salua d'un seul doigt alors qu'ils l'emmenaient dans la boite dans laquelle il était arrivé.

Une minute plus tard, un nouvel employé arriva, et une nouvelle boite fût placée sur ta table, désormais propre. Tu entendis quelqu'un se débattre à l'intérieur et soupira. Même torturer ses petites saloperies, qu'importe à quel point t'aimais ça, devenait un boulot assommant lorsque tu le faisais tout la journée.

Tu dévissas le couvercle du contenaire, en jeta le contenu sur la table et pris une profonde inspiration. " Alors, Edgy, est-ce que tu sais pourquoi t'es là ? "
