As many gripes and critiques as I've had with TotK, I still love it and I am totally obsessed. That ending!!! ;_; Happy 1 year anniversary, Tears of the Kingdom!
Messing with a close-to-canon art style again. Here's some versions with filters and color mixing!
To celebrate, here is my postgame designs for Link and Zelda! I might share my specific headcanons for each of them if there’s enough interest across socials!
I'm working on things I can't share yet, so I'll make a list of all my published TotK stories instead!
The three golden rules of a jeweler are discretion, politeness, and subtlety. No big deal for Isha, Gerudo Town's jewelry shopkeeper, but there's one customer who keeps her on her toes.
Read Shop Rules
Link joins Zelda’s class so that her students can learn first hand about the knights of Hyrule. Turns out they aren’t as prepared for the children’s questions as they thought...
Read Rumors have Wings
Zelda and Link are finally back home in Hateno but... the time apart has left traces on them both. It's nearly impossible for Link to push aside what so often happened around midnight while she was gone and her tender voice failed to warn him about the blood moon.
Read Just after Midnight
Link shows Zelda his new dream home... Or rather what's left of it.

He has done it all before, but the difference is - this time he remembers.

Modern AU with TotK characters and outfits.
Zelda is taking over the fabric store from her mother and struggles to balance traditions, new ideas, and financial problems. The last thing she needs in her sewing class is a guy who disagrees with her every word and threatens to ruin her favorite time of the year: Christmas.
more totk fanart, and the biggest drawings I’ve ever made :3
This was supposed to be out on the 12th for TOTK’s one year anniversary, but it took me wayy longer than expected. Also it’s for my dad so I took my time. Overall I like it a lot.
made with:
ibisPaintX, phone, finger
the timer on ibis is off for this drawing it says 14 hours 18 minutes, but it’s probably closer to 13 hours. Whatever it is it still took forever and I’m glad to be done lolll.
Happy 1st anniversary to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! ⛅️🎉
The game was certainly worth the wait (and the tears, pun not intended), and what better way to celebrate than finishing something that has been on my files since last year?
i did this with water color and markers a few days before the game came out as like a goodbye tribute to botw 🥹🥹
did this early last year probably after i saw the trailer and lost my mind
purah obv
a pretty good zelda actually? what’s become clear to me from comparing these is how i always try different things when drawing stuff like these are all drastically different in some ways
so like i did like the game first of all. i just didn’t like how it felt overwhelming almost? it felt like there was too much stuff which would be good if i actually wanted to it yk? it felt like a chore to go to the depths and etc. but also it had a very divine beast formula and i was hoping it would just be something more creative. but other than that it was a beautiful game and I loved zelda being a creature and the outfits and things. not better than botw in my opinion but not bad also!!!
(ps. also makes me so happy to have a zelda game come out the day b4 my birthday 🎉)
To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Tears of the Kingdom. You can read my love story here:
Third Time’s a Charm
Rated: G
Summary:
A written montage of snapshot moments between Link and Zelda post-TotK, as they come to terms with the traumatic events of the Upheaval and slowly rediscover each other and their love. How many times can two people be forced to start their lives over?
Excerpt:
(Link) However, when he returned from the dead, even when he couldn’t remember, somehow he always knew he was in love with her. When he looks into her clear green eyes Link sees a depth of wisdom that spans not just one century, but thousands and it takes his breath away. He doesn’t dare ask if, during her long slumber, she’s grown past him for fear her answer will be ‘ yes ’.
(Zelda) When Link returns his focus to finishing up their dinner, Zelda steals glances when she knows he’s not looking. He’s different than she remembers him being before she left. Shy and distant, like he’d been so long ago. When she looks into his bright blue eyes she sees an old soul who has seen too much and still finds the strength to persevere. She also sees his undying adoration, which she knows is for her alone
