Mister Torgue High-Five Flexington, often referred to simply as Mister Torgue, and to his family, High-Five, is a supporting character in borderlands 2, getting his own dlc campaign, Mister Torgue's Campaign Of Carnage. He is an absolute genius when it comes to explosives and all things awesome (more on that later). having his parents die in an explosion, he caught to master explosions and created his own successful weapon company out of it, which he sold for 12 Dollars and a High-Five, he was kept on board the company mostly for PR reasons. he created his own death tournament to open a vault, which he paid out of pocket to run. despite his macho persona, he is actually a sentimental and emotional character, despite his tone of voice always being a yell and his bombastic personality. he is also quite the nerd, playing Bunkers and Badasses. it was confirmed he's bisexual.

now for the headcanons and what i think about him, i love him, he's awesome. i have a headcanon that he's on the autism spectrum, as he has a hyperfixation (EXPLOSIONS), he has a hard time expressing his emotions, and is very 1 track minded, something i find relatable as an autist myself but thats a headcanon and is no way official, even if it would be cool representation

some of my borderlands trans hcs but with Bonus Elaboration(tm)

Brick is extremely nonbinary. no cis person is named Brick. they don't care abt what pronouns you use he just wants to punch things

Zane is extremely xenogender and probably has a gender hoard but he assumes everyone around him is either cis or wouldn't care so he just says he's a he/him trans man. ae will break out the fine pronouns with friends though

Gaige is a tgirl in a goofy way. in a lil silly way. vaguely xenic but nobody can say. she would definitely own a blahaj

Hammerlock & Wainwright are t4t and crusty as fuck. neither of them had many surgeries bc they don't really give a shit (the moustaches, posture and mannerisms do all the passing for them) but they both did get their uteruses yeeted for medical reasons and Wainwright got that fancy corporate top surgery. also they use queer language that would make the average twitter user have an aneurysm (reclaimed slurs & outdated words ex. transsexual) because theyre old timey, but also for fun

Vaughn is post everything and thats part of the reason he's moved into letting that thing swing (under the underwear that is) + having his tits out in bl3. it's embezzled hyperion cash well spent

Torgue thought he was cis until he discovered xenogenders and realized he could literally have explosions be his gender. he still goes by he/him in most cases

Dr. Ned's joke about shipping in the BL1 Jakobs Cove DLC was funnier and a better homage to internet culture than anything BL3 did.

God this really made me realise how much I miss Zed/Ned. I can’t remember, was there ever confirmation he’d actually died during the final Bl2 DLC?IIRC he had an echo saying he wasn’t going to leave sanc or something, I can’t actually remember. 

For me, the best overall homages to current culture are all from our lord and savior, Mister Torgue High-Five Flexington.

I’m thinking of his run in with Lilith during assault on Dragon Keep where she realised she was gatekeeping her interests while he just wanted to enjoy a fantasy game with unicorns WHILE being a giant hunk of muscle, and the COC (lol)  quest chain where he wanted you to silence game reviewers for daring to not give a perfect score to his fave video game series. The dialogue in that one was so on point, god.
