India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. The country's business sector plays a vital role in its overall economic growth. India's GDP growth

India's economy is on the road to recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the latest estimates from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the country's gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate for the financial year 2021-2022 is expected to be around 9.5%. The growth was attributed to the government stimulus plan, structural reforms and vaccination campaigns. The RBI also said inflationary pressures are easing, which is a positive sign for the economy.

Stock Market Update

Indian stocks got off to a strong start on Monday, March 20, with benchmarks opening higher. The BSE Sensex opened at 50,168.11, up 354.69 points, while the NSE Nifty opened at 14,916.35, up 106 points. Markets are expected to remain volatile due to the ongoing pandemic and global uncertainties.

Tata Motors plans electric vehicles

Tata Motors, one of India's leading automakers, has announced plans to launch 10 new models of electric vehicles (EVs) by 2025. The company also plans to set up a factory dedicated electric vehicle manufacturing facility in the state of Gujarat. Tata Motors aims to become a carbon-neutral company by 2050, and the switch to electric vehicles is a step in that direction.

Indian economy rebounds in 2021-22

Today business news suggests that the Indian economy is expected to rebound strongly in the current fiscal year. According to a report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Indian economy is expected to grow by 11.5% in 2021-22, making it the fastest growing major economy in the world. The report cites strong political support in India, a recovery in manufacturing and services and a recovery in vaccine-led consumer confidence as key drivers of expected growth.

Cairn Energy Dispute with Indian government

Cairn Energy, a UK-based oil and gas company, has had a long-standing tax dispute with the Indian government.

The company won a $1.2 billion arbitration award against India in 2020, but the Indian government refused to pay. Cairn Energy has now engaged a number of countries, including the US and UK, to enforce the ruling. The dispute has drawn widespread attention and criticism from investors and business groups, who view the Indian government's actions as treacherous and a threat to foreign investment in India.

Indian startups attract record funding

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Indian startups attracted record levels of funding in 2021.

Indian startups raised $10.1 billion in funding in the first quarter of 2021, up from $2.5 billion in the same period last year, according to a report by Venture Intelligence. The increase in funding is a testament to the resilience and innovative capacity of India's startup ecosystem, which has adapted to the changing landscape brought on by the pandemic.

Goodness, what a week. =_= Coming up with a concept on the spot and assuming that I could remotely finish it on time was wishful thinking. Looks like I won't have a chance to draw the Christmas themed idea I had in mind, unfortunately. 🥲😮‍💨

#I've been insanely busy and have learned about a few change of plans today on top of that 🙇‍♀️#RIP #Not having my tablet or more than an hour of spare time to myself is exhausting #Christmas time has beaten me to a pulp this year #I'm SO tired it's ridiculous 😭#The good news though? I should be able to share two pieces between the 26th and 31th 🙏#That'll make up for it!#Plus I might have just found a way to integrate my previous idea to a future piece #So... there's that at least 😅#I expect the last week of december to go a bit more smoothly #Or at least I hope so 🥺#Wishing rest to everyone else who needs it atm 😴💫

#candyredtext #today kicked my aaaasss.#me and one other prsn in my dept and one in each of the other two #its still spring break so we were SWAMPED #on top of havbing to reestock the prize room AND the crane machines #6 were down just cus we didnt have prizes in them (inventory was this weekend so we couldnt restock SHIT)#so it fell on the only two ppl working today (one from open to 2:30 #and then me until 4 when someone else came in and i could FINALLY leave the counter n restock the cranes #and had to reset up a bunch and just #god. god. god. there is SO MUCH more physical labor and running around because we are understaffed/way too busy #and the new management SUCKS #and uc sof that we are losing the valuable ppl n stuck w the SHITTY ONES!!#uauguhg.#also the customers genuinely insane they get crazier every week i s2g

OH RIGHT RW ART MONTH IS TOMORROW

#basil speaks #gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh #ive done thumbnails for mostly everything. so i do have clear ideas for what i'm doing for like uhh 85% of the prompts #but ive been soooo busy with my classes. 18 credit hours kicking my ass rn #confession i am working ahead (did that last year too cause i was unsure how much free time the classes i was taking would leave me with)#but even then i only have 2 things done. sweats #and on top of that i never even finished coding that gallery page for last year's art month #but better news! today i scrapped it and started fresh. code and layout is way cleaner and i'm way happier with it.#i promise it'll see the light of day eventually. though “eventually” may be several more weeks or months hehehehahaheh

i'm planning next week's picnic like if one thing goes wrong i'll be publicly beheaded. i'm locked in to such an absurd degree.

#also never shopping in my nearest town again maybe #i saw my cousin's ex who lives an hour away and her friend together which is so....... like wow i really thought i'd seen the last of him #very messy situation #started talking to a cashier/stocker i've spoken with on occasion for several years and she showed me some of her art & poetry (???)#got in line in front of one of my former classmate's dads who tried to proposition me right after my mom died #went to the new dollar store which has four self checkouts & one manned‚ tried to use a self checkout and the cashier said #'we don't have self checkouts' i said 'do you mean today or period' she said 'period' and we discussed how badly that's got them fucked up #they're literally running one of the self checkouts as a manned checkout when things get busy like...#and it was JUST built!! like just less than a year ago i think #i always come home from that town wanting to pull my hair out it's sooo strange!! like everything is craaazy #i also got fucking scammed!#i forgot to check until just now but the grocery store likes to run a weekly sale then not update the computers to reflect it #like they've done this for years and years #and i paid $1.99/lb for apples that were marked down to $1.12/lb so i overpaid a damn dollar #during the panini when it was my only source of groceries sometimes the difference would literally be like $50 because of big ticket items #i'd usually walk out‚ unload and read the receipt‚ then walk back in and get my refund. every friday.#and if i didn't i'd be out like $100/month for nothing on top of everything costing double what it did in the city #that place is fucking cursed. like there's just layers and layers of misery covering every surface.#adam yaps

if there are any car people here, i need to come up with a car problem that will take a few days to fix pls help

#em dashes #so far i just have 'engine malfunction (vague)' and 'broken axle' but i think those take like. a few hours tops #i don't want the car to be destroyed i just need the car to be inoperable for a few days #also i don't anything about car shops. if they're busy will they still take in new cars #would they go 'we're busy today but we will fix this tomorrow' or would that be bad form
