I followed recently and love the polls (thanks for all your work with it! :D) but I also found it kinda funny to see mostly no answers lol. I know this blog follows the format of other "have you ___ this?" blogs but have you thought about adding an "On my TBR shelf" option? Because there are a few books I've seen that I definitely plan to read but just haven't gotten to yet.

I use this to find books to read. Have you considered a ‘no but I’m interested’ button?

I get the impulse - im often like "i haven't read this, but i want to!" But i feel like its better not to add too many answers

my goodreads tbr is almost 2000 books because I've been using it for over a decade and every year i add more and more books

and this year i am going to try so hard to pull books from it because i marked them as to read for a reason!! they are books i want to read!!

i just have a bad habit of finding a random book not on my tbr and deciding i have to read it immediately ... and it doesn't help that i started watching booktube last year so i'm being exposed to even more books every day ... and i am so easy, like you literally just have to be like "hey this is a good book" and i'll add it to my tbr without even reading the summary sometimes haha

writing inspo when the point of inspo is so intricately specific is weird because its like you want to write something like that but also Not like that because then that would just be writing That story. like los angeles by ling ma is so inspirational to me but "i live with my 100 ex boyfriends" is such a not universal experience so i just have this abstract inspo that's like i want to write something with the same energy as living with 100 ex boyfriends but also not the same energy because the energy of living with 100 ex boyfriends would just be a story about living with 100 ex boyfriends. take a shot every time i said

For years I was such a mood reader and never knew what book I was going to pick up next, and I could not 'force' myself to read something I wasn't in the mood for. Even at the beginning of this year (2023) I was still like this. Now, I have done almost a complete 180, and I want to fully plan out my tbr month-by-month. If you told me this a year ago, I would not have believed you 😂

Now I find the planning aspect so much fun and I basically have my tbr planned out through Feb.
