Got my dad to watch mcc (scar pov) with me, here are some highlights of the occasion

he's colorblind and struggled telling teams apart, but appreciated color indicators on some blocks in games

did not understand survival games until he saw the border and then went "oh it's like fortnite!!"

asked questions about every ten seconds which was actually quite lovely, but included:

asking me how mcc teams are decided

asking me who scott smajor was no less than five times

asking me to explain the concept of hermitcraft.

did not care about the game chat until he realized that's where i was getting stats from and then started leaning as far forward as possible to read it

i don't think he ever really grasped the concept of rocket spleef. he had fun watching though

thought antfrost's skin was a bird

asked me if ace race was only for ace people (definitely trying to connect with me after i recently came out as ace. much appreciated, very sweet)

complained if people punched scar off during tgttos

asked if scar would be interested in coming to our family server to build

desperately wants minecraft slushies. i wouldn't be surprised if i joined the family server tomorrow to find he'd added a texture pack for them

i think his favorite game was meltdown, he got very excited about scar's killer aim

he says that most of the streamers he watches are british and hearing american accents on twitch was weird. ok

got happy every time scar wasn't last in team rankings for a game

guys he got so into dodgebolt. he was jumping up with every hit. he was very disappointed when i accidentally changed the channel during the second round and wouldn't let me touch the remote again. he actually cheered at the final shot

he didn't know anyone playing but he still really enjoyed it. he wants to watch again next time :)

“So, Trent, your football career is looking amazing, your stats are blowing up—”

Trent let out a chuckle at the flowing praise, pride fuelling in his chest. But he didn’t expect the last statement to pop up.

“—and also your love life, it seems. I know you keep your relationship reclusive but that soft launch really had fans going crazy. Tell me a little about that.”

He was speechless for a second, a warm smile settling on his lips at the thought of you. He felt his body getting warm, he couldn’t stop grinning that his cheeks were starting to hurt.

“Yeah, yeah, uh,” he stumbled, words stuck in his throat and he doesn’t know which one to start with. This is his first time he’s talking about you in an interview, although you and him already knew that it was coming after the instagram post, it was still a little bit nerve wrecking.

Trent shrugged before continuing, “I’m a very private person with all of this. All that I have to say is that I’m very happy with my life right now. The support that I have right now, I’m just— uh, very very grateful to be honest. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.” he rambled, your face fresh in his mind, left him feeling all fuzzy inside.

The interviewer sent him a warm smile, he too was feeling happy for him, “Tell me what makes Y/N special.”

Trent didn’t think that they would find your name so fast, but it also wasn’t a surprise, “You guys are quick huh?” they both shared a laugh, before that love struck look glazed over his face once again, “Y/N is honestly amazing. Do you know the feeling that you’re with someone you adore, you can’t really describe it— yeah, Y/N’s probably the best thing that has happened to me.”

He stopped at that, still wanting to keep your relationship as private at possible. But that was more than enough. Everyone in the room could see how smitten he was and they all shared the same joy.

Even the interviewer knew that.

“I am glad to see you happy, Trent. You definitely deserve it.” the interviewer softly smiled at him.

“Thank you.” he chuckled as he shyly scratched the back of his neck.

Couple of days later, the interview was out.

“Trent, it’s out!” you exclaimed, running to the sofa, and snatching the remote from his hand to change it.

Trent looked at you amused, “Why’re you so excited?”

You smirked, “Why can’t I be?” you looked at him teasingly, before kissing his cheek and pressing play.

Trent was fidgety the whole time as the video plays, nervous for your reaction when you saw the specific scene.

“—and also your love life, it seems. I know you keep your relationship private but that soft launch really had fans going crazy.”

He slowly looked at you, trying to figure out your reaction. But what he saw completely left him in awe.

You were staring at the screen, wearing a proud look on your face. Your smile is so big, he can’t help but mirror it.

You didn’t know why you felt so giddy, so happy, knowing that he was talking about you, praising you, that only you (and some friends and family.) know that. It brought a sense of comfort and ego boost that you can’t explain.

You squealed when you feel warm hands engulfing your waist. Trent pulled you between his legs as he peppered the side of your face with kisses.

“Wait!—“ you laughed, “What’re you doing!” you tipped your head up, trying to look at him. But you were met with his dreads instead.

“Love you.” you heard him whisper. You pouted at your adorable boyfriend, moving your hand behind his neck and softly scratching his scalp.

“Love you too, baby.” you took him out of your neck, and landed a soft kiss on his lips, “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me too.”

Trent’s eyes went big and glassy, he was giving you that doe eyed look that made you all flustered. “So lucky to have you.” he muttered.

How lucky you were that this boy was all yours.

i wanna count the freckles on your face - mason blurb — #1

you loved everything about mason. from his lips and how they felt on yours, to his eyes and how they reflected everything going on in his head with no filter. but the one thing you could never get sick of was tracing his freckled cheeks.

"have you ever tried counting them?" you asked him softly connecting every spots with an invisible string.

"hmm ?" mason sprawled on your disheveled sheets with a questioning look on his face.

"your freckles, have you tried counting them?"

"why would i count them?" mason snickered at your question but you were already straddling his hips, tracking each cocoa coloured mark on his left cheek. he couldn't help but admire your face contort in focus. your nose scrunching, your tongue slightly poking out of your lips when you were not biting them.

"are you having fun right now?" you could only hum in agreement too busy counting down in your head.

"when you think about it, your cheeks are almost a sky map. these six look like a mini ursa major, your face is a pocket sized galaxy."

"thanks?" mason had absolutely no idea what you were talking about, but he could only smile like a fool hearing your rambles.

"that's seventy-six, i thought there would be a little more you know..."

"i'm sorry, i'll try to be a better man for you and give you more freckles to count." you lightly hit his chest and hid your face in his neck.

mason wouldn't necessarily describe himself as jealous, even though you would probably say the opposite. but in this very moment, he couldn't help but feel so immensely lucky to be the only man to have you like this.

sure, others could look at you, they could mindlessly admire your smile and daydream about your lips on theirs. but you'd never talk to them about futile things (such as your boyfriend's freckles) with stars in your eyes. and mason would feel bad for these people, but really he could only take pride in the fact he was the only one to know you and your antics.
