To say Starscream had been on a losing streak recently was an understatement. He had barely escaped both the decepticons and the autobots with his life, his t-cog was damaged and his clones had utterly failed to take his revenge on Megatron for him.

When he first spots the two flyers in the air he expects them to be vehicons, so he dives for cover. Peeking out from his hiding place, he sees as they circle back that they have different colourations than Megatron's usual goons.

From this distance, it's impossible to tell precisely who they are, but they're seekers for certain. They're probably bad news, yet his spark can't help but swell with hope. What if it's them?

No, no that was fanciful thinking. They were both offlined long ago, back when he was still proud to be the Decepticon air commander. Now he's grounded and alone, this was just another cruel trick the universe wanted to play on him.

He ducks back underneath the bushes he's using for cover as they approach, hearing the sound of transformations as these flyers land. Hopefully they're here for some other objective, and it's purely a coincidence he is nearby.

Ah, finally! Here’s my work for 2022′s @tf-bigbang. It’s been a wonderful time, and I was paired with the lovely @sxpaiscia, who provided me with three gorgeous illustrations. So sit back and please enjoy all the work we’ve put into this.

Summary: Skywarp and Thundercracker were keeping secrets from  Starscream. Right up until those secrets raised the number in their  trine from three to five. Now, in the middle of the war, the three seekers are struggling to  keep the crew of the Nemesis from discovering the two sparklings. But it  won't be long before Megatron and Soundwave get suspicious about how  much "trine time" Starscream's been taking lately and try to discover  the cause. And when one of those sparklings develops Skywarp's outlier  abilities, it'll only be a matter of time before they're all discovered.

Well saw someone I watch on here talk openly about their TF characters, so I thought: Well, I’ll get over myself and talk about mine! So, here goes!

(Note: I personally headcannon Star Scream, Thunder Cracker, Skywarp and Slipstream are all siblings. Same goes for Elita One, Chromia and Arcee being siblings, but that’s more because in the Bayverse they’re supposedly sisters.)

Starjumper:

- His parents weren’t sure what to name him. Starscream wanted to name him after himself and Arcee wasn’t feeling that. Plus she wanted a way to commemorate Cliffjumper, but didn’t know how. One day the parents got into an argument and in a bit of frustration, one of them spat out “Starjumper” to which the tiny sparkling kicked his mother in response to the name, only for it to be brushed off as a fluke. It wasn’t until it was closer to his birth that the parents really sat and threw out names, with the only one getting a response from the sparkling being “Starjumper”, each time that name in particular was mentioned, he’d kick his mother in response. After saying the name about five times, it was pretty much decided, yeah that’s his name.

- Ever since he was born, he’s slept with his tongue stuck out.

- He’ll never admit it, but he’s a mama’s bot. Something he tries to keep to himself, but has gotten into fights with the others over it.

- He’s very defensive of his parents and sisters. He often complains about how he hates to have sisters, but in truth, he’s the first the one to start whaling on people when if it looks like the girls have been done wrong. Or if he thinks anyone is talking about his parents in a negative light, he’s all to happy to jump up and start an argument, or again, get into a fist fight. He’s gets into quite a bit of trouble for that.

- He knows the adults are worried he’ll become a decepticon like his father and It hurts him they think this. So he tries to hide those emotions with a big ego and some bravado, but unfortunately, his wings give away how he actually feels.

- he’s a show off, once he got his alt mode and learned how to fly, he gladly began to put on aerial performances for anyone who would watch.

- his alt mode is a north top t-38 talon jet

- His alt mode and speed are something he takes great pride in.

- Starscream will often take Jumper and Warp aboard the Ravanger and teach them science. There’s been a few times they’d come home covered in soot, and StarJumper was genuinely excited to tell his mom about what they did. Scream, is just more grumpy that something blew up, because someone intentionally added a chemical to cause the explosion. He’s just not sure which one did it.

- Jack occasionally has to babysit, and it was through Jack that Jumper developed a love for astronomy.

Thunderwarp

- Arcee let Scream have full reign to name the second sparkling, so being named for her uncles it was! It took a few combinations of the trine’s names before he found one she would respond to.

- She’s cute, she knows she’s cute and just like Starscream, uses this to appear as innocent as possible and weasel her way out of any mischief she’s gets into. Nine times outta ten, Starscream falls for it. Zero times outta ten, Arcee falls for it.

- She often drags her brother StarJumper into playing what he considers “sissy games” with her, again, in truth, he actually has fun with it and enjoys spending time with her.

- Warp enjoys chemistry for one so young, mostly cause the reactions are fun to watch. But most of the time, she just causes things to explode. Something her brother takes great delight in, and her father takes great annoyance in.

- She has a massive plushie collection, which she often share with anyone who she feels might be feeling down.

- Her alt mode is a ‘21 Ducati Scrambler Cafe

- Warp and Jumper often try to race in alt mode, as she thinks she’s faster than he is, and this is a challenge that Jumper takes very personally.

Silent Shock:

- Even after she was born, it took them some time to come up with a name she’d respond to. It wasn’t until the group found themselves talking about Shockwave that she seemed to respond. Though, not wanting her to be named or associated with him, they just called her “Shock” which she still responded to.

- She was born mute and without a T-cog, as a result, Shock isn’t able to go out much and struggles to communicate, much to her frustration and if it hadn’t been for Jack suggesting she learn sign language, communication wouldn’t be much of an option.

- Often times, when her parents and siblings aren’t around, she finds herself gravitating towards Ratchet. Quietly watching him work with great curiosity and fascination. Something that, while he’ll never admit to it, he does enjoy the little one’s company.

- Shock has a fascination with electricity and electronics. Something that Ratchet has noticed and plans to to try and outfit her with similar weaponry as a means of defense.

- What she lacks in an alt mode, she makes up for in powers as she inherited Skywarp’s warping abilities.

- She’s often goes by the nickname Shock

Honeybee

- Found trapped on the Nemesis, Bumblebee noticed when a small hand reached out for attention. His spark went out to her when he saw the dirty conditions of the cell she was in. Unable to leave the little one behind, he managed to break open the cell and got her back to the base.

- She wasn’t too big on the idea of meeting the others, and would often hide when Bumblebee wasn’t around.

- When she came around and finally got out of her shell, there was a sense of regret as they found out, “Goddamnit that’s not a honeybee it’s a honey badger!!” Yet her name still remained Honeybee

Every time a new chapter drops on this fic (Reforged by Heliopauseentertainments), my sibling, whose not reading it, loses his mind over the fact that we don’t yet have a for certain answer on the potential reincarnation plotline.

Snippet from new WIP

Context: Prowl and Smokescreen the morning after the destruction of Praxus, feat. my OC Hipshot, Jazz’s predecessor as the head of the Autobot’s Special Operations

“Carrier-”

“Bluestreak is alive. We are going to Praxus to find him.” Prowl took Smokescreen’s hand. “Are you stable?”

“Enough.” 

“Good.”

They continued down the hall, towards the shuttle launch. Prowl opened an incoming comm from Hipshot.

::You didn’t hear this from me, but Spec Ops has two extra seats on their shuttle. Find Bumblebee. It’ll head straight for Enforcer HQ, or at least, the coordinates of where it used to be. If Smokescreen can’t handle it, Bee will stay with him.::

Prowl didn’t believe he’d ever found himself thanking Hipshot, but today was full of awful firsts. Hipshot brushed the thanks off easily.

::Just make sure if you see your ex to doubletap him through the spark, as a little gift to me.::
