ok so these past four songs i got sent by people, now i'm terrible at reviewing music but in no particular order here goes:

not really my thing but definitely good, i like the lyrics it's just too slow to be something i'd normally chose to listen to i'm sorry 😓

i think this is my favourite out of all them, i always really gel with bop wriggly songs to jam and shmoove too as well as songs that are basically just stories being told with music

i love microwave too though, it has a great balance of silly goofy that i like in my songs as well as ough lyrics y'know? very cool that fallow said this reminded em of me i like that

this is also a bop but i can't help but compare it to french perfume 😭 like this is also a bop wriggly song with kinda a story so i really like it it's just missing that violin and banjo guitar thing, the story this song tells is less clear but that's totally intentional i'd say, like it's a mystery it's really neat how they did that it's cool :D

some lotus blossom headcanons for tmnt 2012

-lotus is not very book smart since she didn’t finish school. donatello offers her tutoring after she joins the clan.

-lotus is 5’7”. for reference: an inch taller than donnie, 5 inches taller than leo, and 3 inches shorter than renet.

-lotus loves dresses and hair styles, though usually wears her hair down, which leo loves

-likes watercolors

-lotus likes japanese culture and someday wants to have a traditional japanese wedding

-lotus likes takoyaki, salad, and cantaloupe, but dislikes peppers and bitter foods

-she and leo end up caring for a garden together

-lotus could not care less that leo is a mutant turtle. she’s just glad to find someone who treats her with nothing but love and respect since her past few relationships were very toxic.

-lotus is a closet sci fi fan, and leo was ecstatic to find this out. space heroes isn’t her favorite franchise, but she does enjoy it.

-leo’s nickname for her is “watashi no hana” or “my flower”

-with preparation, lotus can hold her own in a fight against any member of the hamato clan.

-when not in a fight, lotus is rather reserved and soft-spoken. she does have a rebellious streak though, and often acts in the moment rather than thinking things completely through.

-lotus’ cursive and kanji handwriting are very spidery and pretty-looking, but very hard to read. her print handwriting looks messy and inelegant, though it is easier to read by comparison.

-she has a small mole beneath her right eye, but her hair often covers it.

-lotus has scars on her back and lower arms, both from combat and from a certain ex (i promise i’ll give a full backstory once i’m done revising it).

-i like to imagine her voice actress being lucy liu.

-admittedly i did slightly base my version of her off of yor from spy x family, because of the assassin thing 😅

-after joining the clan, she becomes very protective of all of her new family members, since they’re all she has. she becomes especially close with mona, donatello, april, and, obviously, leonardo.

-because of her violent nature, leo doesn’t let her go on patrol, and she only joins on more serious missions.

-she can be pretty giggly if something amuses her. she really likes puns, which leo takes full advantage of. when she’s drunk, she’s giggly about everything.

-she is a very good liar, and can even hide a secret while drunk, since she avoids the subject by making puns and laughing at herself.

-lotus knows basic first aid since she lived by herself very often throughout her teenage years.

Me: The Burning of Teldrassil should not have happened and Sylvanas' characterization from BFA onward was written by sexually predatory men who openly despise woman that are angry and vocal about the abuse they suffered at their company.

Me: Even if she was, which she wasn't, the fact that these writers made an evil monster out of an abuse/trauma/SA survivor should come across as at least a little suspicious given the very real allegations they have faced recently and the misogyny and bigotry they've allowed to fester in their player base. That they chose to burn the capital of the most matriarchal race in Azeroth should not be overlooked either. BFA/Teldrassil reeks of misogyny from top to bottom.

Why do people think killing your assaulter makes you a bad person? Like I have a character who killed her assaulter(a cop whom began to attack her) and the officers in the roleplay game immediately reacted ”it’s still wrong”. No it’s not. Granted, I’m not surprised people would react negatively to a Caribbean woman killing her assaulter whereas they get to murder protestors easy peasy. Moving on, I genuinely do not get why people think killing an assaulter makes you just as bad?

Because it goes against the idea that victims are supposed to suffer in silence and not bother anyone with the fact they're being wrong. Whenever someone says that taking action against someone assaulting you makes you just as bad, it's just them saying "Stop trying to make me feel bad for not caring."

Because when has Harley ever gotten this? When has she ever had a partner who actually apologized for their behavior towards her? Who assured her that how they acted wasn't her fault and that she didn't deserve to be mistreated? Who else demonstrated that they loved Harley so completely and utterly before Ivy did in this comic?

No one.

I don't give a fuck what you say. This was the most satisfying thing I have ever beholden from DC. The Batman's got nothing on this.

Okay, don't let my other fics hear this, but I would say my favourite is *whispers* 'I love you florally', I don't know if it's because it's my first moon knight fic or what, I like it the most :P

'Not saying 'I love you back' prank, this one was so much fun to write, I giggled to myself when writing this :D

I wouldn't say 'flop' exactly, but in the terms of less loved, and with fewer notes compared to my other fics, I would say 'The Phases of the moon'

Are you named after anyone?I think so? I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think I was named after a character in a TV show.

When was the last time you cried?

Oh man. Last week after work. Was feeling pretty crappy and low about myself so held it in a work and let it out in the car on the way home. It did help though, certainly felt better finally letting it all out.

Do you have kids?Nope unless my plushies counts XD

Do you use sarcasm?

Not often. I have to be in a pretty vile mood to even resort to it. I don't particularly like sarcasm, not when it's actual sarcasm so I try my best to not use it.

What is the first thing you notice about someone?

Eyes I think. I'm not hundred percent sure as I'm usually too focused in the meeting of someone and listening to what they have to say. If they're wearing an interesting outfit, I probably would say that too ^^

Happy endings definitely, especially at the moment. I'm struggling to handle anything grim or hopeless. And I don't really like scary movies cos they play on my mind too much.

i feel like a lot of the 'i hate kids' crowd would be more tolerant if they understood that due to a kid's limited experience of the world that 4 hour flight might just be the longest they've ever had to sit still for or that trapped finger might literally be the most pain they've ever felt in their short life or they might not have ever seen a person with pink hair ever so of course they want to touch it or nobody's told them yet that they can't run around the museum and they only just learned cheetahs are the fastest animals so of course they want to put that to the test. how were they supposed to know etc etc.
