Monkie kid sure does have a pattern of having untrustworthy characters (often antagonists/villains) give us information about Wukong, who they all seem to have grudges against and disdain for and then never give us Wukong's point of view leaving the fandom to fall into the trap of hating Wukong which is exactly what these antagonists are wanting.

Finally watched the entirety of The Monkey King 2023 and I have opinions/thoughts/theories. Spoilers below.
Thoughts:
Voice acting amazing. Jimmy O Yang really gave this Monkey a heart and vunerability. Also loved Bowen Yang as the Dragon King. Did not expect the Buddha to be Dr Henry Wu (BD Wong) but it felt right.
Art amazing, esp the 2d sequence and the fight scenes. Loved Monkey and the Dragon King's designs. Not so much for the gods tho; They looked too much like Illumination characters at times - tho it did give them a little uncanniness you'd expect from a celestial.
This version of Wangmu is def the Jade Emperor's mom or something, and not his wife. The Queen Mother of the West deserves an absolutely show-stoppingly regal design, not a cartoony witch vibe.
From the poisoned peach scene I can confirm; this SWK is a flirty drunk and has the worst pickup lines. "You must be from the Dang Dynasty!" anyone? X3
No Master Subodhi, Stalwart Generals, Brotherhood, Erlang, or the Furnace in this version sadly, but I have my theories below. Monkey does mark/pee on the Buddha's hand tho so they kept that part in. XD
Theories + future character ideas below read more >;3
The four baby monkeys we see at the beginning listening to the Elder are the Stalwart Generals. It was their childhood group name and sometimes they even included Monkey/Shihou (Monkey would die for them for this brief act of kindness). The one that got taken by the Demon of Havoc either got away/was saved, or is tied to the idea that "Marshal Liu = Liu'er Mihou/Six Eared Macaque", potientially giving Netflix Macaque a personal grudge against his Monkey King (he indirectly ruined/ended his life).
Lin is 100% a Golden Cicada incarnation. Girl was personally chosen at the to act as the Buddha's voice to the Monkey King. Plus her being the last face Monkey sees before the mountain is sealed mirroring how Tripitaka is the first to greet him 500 years later?
Hc that Monkey did have a Brotherhood of demons during his 100 Demon slaying binge, but it fell apart badly like a rock band. Hence why he's seen defeating his DBK in the 2d sequence.
The reason why we don't see Master Subodhi, is because this Monkey needs to have his "awakening to nothingness" while on the Journey, and not before. Hence why he's never called Sun Wukong (atleast in the english version), since "Sun Wukong" literally means = "monkey awakened to nothingness". It's likely this Tripitaka will be the one to name Monkey, if Subodhi doesn't appear in any hypothetical sequel that is.
I fear that it might mean that the Furnace and Erlang may play a huge role in Monkey's future character arc if they ever makes an appearance. We do see a similar looking cauldron in Wangmu's lab (I guess they gave her Lao Tzu's job), so hopefully its not a red herring.
Someone pointed out that Netflix Monkey's hair looks like a Prince Rupert Drop (aka an extremely hard tadpole/tear shaped drop of molten glass that distintergrates if the tail is damaged) and thats such a cool character design thing. From this, his LEM counterpart def should have an obsidian (sharp, hard, but brittle quickly cooling lava) theme going on to both contrast and compare to Monkey's glass. I love me the rock imagery in the film.
Bajie's brief appearance looked pretty young/piglet-esque. I hear that there's an upcoming Xiyouji film about Bajie, so maybe this form is still currently a young recently-reincarnated piglet instead of a whole hog.
I would love for a reappearance of Red Girl in the future. Let this baby go Samadhi Fire on a monkey.
I hope for a hypothetical Netflix version of Ao Lie/Bai Longma that is an actual character, and not just a pretty prop. Maybe tie in his connection to the Dragon King (maybe he's Ao Lie's uncle or dad) in the film?
I am obsessing now.

RWBY and Masculinity
I love RT’s, and specifically RWBY’s take on masculinity so much. The show subverts all expectations wrt their male characters and their development, which is why the male viewers experience major cognitive dissonance between what they expect and what story is actually being told (and then have the gall to call it bad writing). Under cut because this has gotten so long so fast.
The two main male characters - Sun and Jaune - are subvertions of genre/medium staples.
Jaune specifically hits all the beats of the typical male self-insert in a harem anime: he’s catapulted into a world he knows nothing of, instantly establishes 3 different dynamics with 3 different female characters/archetypes - Cheery, Ice Princess and Hot Tall and Earnest - one of whom he immediately sets his eyes on, he’s surrounded by women that are a whole lot more powerful than he is (and arguably THE most powerful one is instantly drawn to him), he’s essentially powerless and dealing with self-esteem issues and is nondescript enough to be a vehicle for any male viewer to project themselves onto. Which is why you have a good chunk of Jaune’s fandom from V1 being the embodiment of the Venn diagram intersection bewteen weebs and incels like That, and why there’s so much harem fanfic revolving around Jaune.
CRWBY have heavily drawn from anime when making rwby so I don’t think this was coincidental; they laid out the groundworks to subvert a specific trope. Male fans, however, bought into the facade and kept waiting for Jaune to essentially steal the spotlight, be the focal point of several love interests and get a power up that’ll let him be their own power fantasy to boot, but CRWBY took his character in the very opposite direction.
Jaune makes a lot of mistakes but what defines him is how earnestly he learns from them and redeems himself. He apologizes for lashing out at Pyrrha as a result of his own feelings of inadequacy and powerlessness when bullied by Cardin and then accepts her offer to teach him, sincerely taking instruction from her and then taking inspiration from her strength. Once he realizes his seduction skit with Weiss is not only ridiculous but wrong, he instantly changes his approach and prioritizes Weiss’s wants and needs over his, giving her space and knocking sense into Neptune so that Weiss can have her “ideal” date. Jaune doesn’t get embittered about being essentially rejected and most importantly he doesn’t let it affect his relationship with Weiss. Both of them become actual friends from that point on, and we get to see Jaune develop a certain measure of emotional intelligence starting that moment, which becomes part of his skillset and is shown to be part of what makes him a good leader. One of the best examples is how he and Ruby team up in V6E1 to get the hunter on the train to turn the turrets off. Jaune heals the hunter’s wounded arm and gently assuages his fear, in clear contrast with Qrow abrasively manhalding an injured and panicked man and expecting him to comply. The writing essentially puts down the show of arms and props up Ruby and Jaune’s approach; Jaune specifically is the example of masculine leadership the writing looks favorably on.
And that’s the kicker here: Jaune’s strength comes from his set of soft skills as opposed to traditionally portrayed masculine strength, which usually careens into toxic power fantasy land. His whole arc in V1-3 is about learning to shed any distorted notions of chivalry and strength and knowing that his end goal shouldn’t be to become a hero for the sake of it or to live up to societal expectations, but to do what he can and as good as he can for the sake of everyone. Jaune is a good strategist and he knows how to make the best out of everyone’s powers. He’s there to enhance how people use their semblances together. His big power-up, his semblance reveal is basically him getting confirmed for a cross between a cleric and a paladdin (DnD players amongst us please correct me if I’m wrong): he is the ultimate support, acting as a healer and an amplifier to everyone around him, and that’s why he’s a good leader. His power on his own loses its entire meaning: Jaune takes strength from the people he loves and endlessly, earnestly gives back to them, never once stealing the spotlight in combat because that’s not his role and that’s okay.
And as for Jaune’s romantic prospects, think Forever Fall established once and for all that Jaune’s already found the One and I don’t think we’ll see him get any other love interest, especially now that arkos parallels oz/salem and with how vehement CRWBY are about lancaster being platonic.
Now Sun. I want to tackle a specific expectation I’ve seen from male fans and that’s about him becoming more significant to the plot by coleading/leading the new White Fang movement...which would be hijacking Blake’s storyline. Blake is the one with drive and a cause, she was literally born inside the movement and has since seen it get derailed AND was the one to reclaim it from Adam and give it a new vision, as opposed to Sun who apparently wasn’t even aware of the systematic oppression Faunus had to deal with on a daily basis outside of Vacuo. So why is Sun, who has exactly 0 qualifications for this job and no interest in it, still expected to get it by a good chunk of his fans? Aside from the pervasive misogyny permeating fandom culture, there’s a specific trope media has served to us for decades now and that’s of a Semi-Competent Male Hero with his Hyper-Competent Female Side-kick (Vox published an article about it a few years ago and I really recommend checking it out), where a male character who’s semi good at best and not nearly as well-versed into whatever field he shares with his infinitely more competent female sidekick somehow walks in and saves the day and most of the time the female sidekick also, unsurprisingly doubles as a love interest. Time and again, male characters get rewarded for being half as good as their female counterpart at best AND they get the girl most often than not.
But Sun’s whole character is, again, the very opposite of this. Sun never outweighs Blake on her own narrative (as is literal common sense) and shouldn’t be expected to. Sun actually gets schooled into the Faunus cause by his more competent female counterpart, Blake acting as his mentor and introducing him to the fight and why it matters. Blake and Sun basically reenact the plotline of Journey to the West (Sun quite literally references it by calling it a “Journey to the East”) a story whose main character is the legendary monkey king Sun Wukong, who’s the mythical figure Sun’s based on. Sun’s arc about finally knowing the cause and fighting for the right reasons happens thanks to Blake’s guidance - which Sun earnestly complies with and never questions because he knows she’s the expert and he doesn’t usurp that spot from her - and never overshadows her own narrative. Quite the opposite, it builds up to her own arc as a future leading figure of the WF and face of the Faunus cause by having her politicize someone who has no real stakes in this fight even though they should have.
And then even his endeavor with Blake as a love interest falls through, with their relationship getting entirely recontextualized in V4-5 where their dynamic gets rebuilt as a friendship. Incidentally, that’s when it finally starts actually developing, instead of being stuck in the V1-3 limbo of mutual fleeting attraction where they’re constantly missing each other’s cues because they literally do not understand each other on a fundamental level. V4-5 is when Blake understands Sun isn’t what she needs in a romantic partner, but she does need him as a friend and ally. And Sun, whose premise falls in line with the Nice Guy trope, actually subverts it: he never makes Blake’s emotional journey about him, never expects anything in return and gracefully bows out of the narrative (for the time being) without ever pressuring Blake into acknowledging or returning his feelings. He doesn’t agonize over the initial attraction not going anywhere and doesn’t expect to be rewarded for being a decent person; again Blake’s feelings and well-being are his priority because that’s what good friends do. Their relationship developing into a steady friendship is never a point of conflict between them, and it’s actually lived as a positive event for both.
And then, to top it off, CRWBY parsed together every bit of toxic masculinity and wrapped it into a power fantasy package and named the end result Adam Taurus, who’s the absolute worst abusive piece of shit. Adam is every single thing bad about men as a power structure: abrasive, entitled, controlling, takes violence as an indication of power and doesn’t take kindly to his leadership/vision being questionned. It’s not really coincidental that he steals the power seat from a woman and acts like he deserves it in any way. But male fans were so starved for their power fantasy fix and traditionally masculine cool calm collected and complicated male character that they were ready to minimize/outright ignore the abuse he’s put Blake through and just how awful a human being he was just to be able to hard project onto him. And CRWBY’s answer to that is basically this:
Tumblr media
TL;DR: RT says if your masculinity isn’t humble, nurturing, supportive, compassionate, selfless and earnest then we don’t want it.

The RWBY OP Rapsheet
I got very bored this week and because I couldn’t think of anything better to do analysis post wise- or more accurately, I could but all of the ideas broke a rule I have regarding posting about Volume 6- so I instead decided to do a breakdown of all the characters who make appearances in the openings of each volume. Because I know/hope there’s someone who cares about these little details as much as I do. This has been put under the read more for ease of data users. Just to note, this isn’t a breakdown of the songs, just the opening sequences themselves.
Also if you have ideas for an analysis post you’d like to see me tackle, please feel free to use my inbox- it’s always open.
Volume 1- This Will Be The Day
First appearances- Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, Ozpin, Glynda Goodwitch, Roman Torchwick, Cinder Fall (silhouette), Emerald Sustrai (silhouette), Mercury Black (silhouette), Creatures of Grimm.
Last appearance of: Summer Rose (until Volume 3)
Plot relevance: Jaune never actually has a scene at the Beacon statue, which is the closest this OP comes to setting up a plot.
Grimm count: Very prominent in the OP.
At one minute, five seconds for the extended version and thirty seconds for the version used for the rest of Volume 1, this is the shortest of the openings. Personal rating: 6/10, would be higher if This Will Be The Day hasn’t become slightly overused in meta appearances.
Tumblr media
Volume 2- Time To Say Goodbye
(this is probably still my favorite opening in the show for the record)
First appearances- Sun Wukong, Neptune Vasilias, Scarlet David, Sage Ayana, Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Yatsuhashi Daichi, Velvet Scarlatina, Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark, Penny Poledina, James Ironwood, Bartholomew Oobleck, Peter Port, Hei “Junior” Xiong, Melanie and Militia Malachite.
Recurring appearances- RWBY, JNPR, Ozpin, Glynda, CRME, Grimm.
Teased battles- Yang vs Mercury (happens in Volume 3), Emerald vs Weiss (yet to happen), Blake vs Roman (happens during No Breaks), Ruby vs Cinder (happens during Dance Dance Infiltration), Pyrrha vs CRDL (seen in Extracurricular).
Last appearance of: Junior, Melanie and Militia, Roman, CFVY, CRDL, Penny.
Plot relevant: Silver Eyes foreshadowing, Pyrrha’s fall symbolism is followed up on in the show itself, all fights teased barring one appear in-show.
Grimm Count: One quick shot of the Grimm running through a forest.
Personal rating: 10/10, best OP in the show, give me the Weiss/Emerald fight you cowards.
Tumblr media
Volume 3- When It Falls
First appearances- Qrow Branwen, Winter Schnee, Raven Branwen (photo), Taiyang Xiao Long (photo), Adam Taurus.
Recurring appearances- RWBY, JNPR, SSSN, Cinder, Mercury, Emerald.
Teased battles- Yang vs Mercury (happens in Fall), Emerald vs Weiss (has yet to happen), Adam vs Blake (happens in Volume 3), Ruby vs Cinder (previously fought in Volume 2, have not yet had a rematch), RWBY and JNPR vs Grimm (shown throughout the Fall of Beacon).
Last appearance of: Neptune, Sage, Scarlet, CFVY, Glynda, Port, Oobleck, Mercury and Emerald (until Volumes 5 and 6 respectively), Pyrrha, Ozpin (until Volume 5), Winter, Yang Xiao Long’s arm.
Plot relevance- major players for the tournament arc appear in the OP, STRQ photo will be important when STRQ are, Cinder looks ominous in a few shots, Pyrrha flying away at the end of the OP references her death, Grimm surging through Beacon is fairly obviously shown with the Fall of Beacon..
Grimm count: We literally open with the Grimm stomping on a rose. This is symbolized in the show- the Grimm are the writers, the rose is fans of the show who had resulting trauma from it. OP chock full of Grimm.
Much like the Volume 2 OP there is an extended sequence of RWBY and JNPR in freefall. The end of the sequence sees the heroes scattering, with Ren and Pyrrha being the first and most visible characters to split off. Ren’s departure is seen as a reference to Monty’s passing between volumes, while Pyrrha’s is foreshadowing her death. Personal rating: 9/10, great OP and great song.
Tumblr media
Volume 4- Let’s Just Live
First appearances: Ghira and Kali Belladonna, Fennic and Corsac Albain, Salem, Arthur Watts, Tyrian Callows, Hazel Rainart, Klein Sieben, Whitley Schnee, Jacques Schnee.
Recurring- RWBY, Jaune, Nora, Ren (henceforth called JNR for ease of typing), Qrow, Cinder, Ironwood, Taiyang, Adam, Raven (bird form), Sun.
Last appearance of: Ironwood, Taiyang, Ghira and Kali, Whitley, Jacques.
Teased battles: Ruby vs Tyrian (happens in Tipping Point), Yang vs Taiyang (Happens in Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back), Adam vs Blake (”Happens” in Volume 5).
Grimm Count: Again, open on a Grimm. We actually see Grimm getting fought in this OP which is quite new. Just the normal Grimm of Beowulves and Ursa, none of Volume 4′s fun Grimm make an appearance.
Plot relevance: Surprisingly relevant, most plots get at least a second of teasing, even Raven gets a brief appearance. RNJR are going to Mistral, Yang is recovering, Blake is going to Menagerie and Weiss is stifling in her father’s house.
Personal rating, 6/10. Love the song but the animation in the OP is very janky and unnatural, particularly during the Adam vs Blake part and whenever people are fighting.
Tumblr media
Volume 5- Triumph
First appearances: Ilia Amitola, Oscar Pine, Vernal, Leonardo Lionheart.
Recurring- RWBY, JNR, Qrow, Cinder, Raven, Hazel, Watts, Salem, Mercury, Ozpin, Sun.
Teased battles: Blake vs Ilia (Happens in True Colors), Mercury vs Yang (Rematch, animation lifted from OP during Battle of Haven), Hazel vs Ren and Nora (Animation lifted from OP during Battle of Haven).
Last appearance of: Fennic and Corsac, Vernal, Leonardo, Raven, Sun, Ilia.
Grimm count: Barring a Seer’s tentacles in the shot, no Grimm at all in the OP.
Plot relevant: All relevant scenes are referenced in the volume proper, most prominently the Menagerie and Haven battles. Weiss never rides her Knight’s sword though so this is the worst OP for the worst volume.
Personal rating: 4/10. Triumph’s my least favorite opening song, animation gets blatantly recycled in the show proper from this and Volume 5 remains... sub par.
Tumblr media
Volume 6- Rising
First appearances: Neopolitan, Maria Calavera, Ozpin’s Past Lives.
Recurring: RWBY, JNR, Oscar, Qrow, WTCH, Adam, Salem, Ozpin, Emerald, Mercury.
Teased Battles: Cinder vs Neopolitan, Qrow vs Grimm.
Personal rating, 9/10. Love the little synth hints in the opening of the song, smoothest animation in any of the OPs to date and contains some very stimulating shots that sparked a lot of discussion post-release.
Tumblr media
Hello death flags my old friend...
General notes:
Of the heroes, RWBY and JNR are the only characters to have appeared in all six openings. Of the villains, Cinder is the only villain to have the same feat. The Grimm technically do this too, but different Grimm are in each opening.
Of the heroes, Ozpin is the most prolific character to appear in openings without having a perfect record, only being absent in Volume 4. Funnily enough, the same can be said of the villains- Mercury is the second most prolific villain seen in the OPs barring Volume 4.
Qrow is the only character introduced after Volume 1 to appear in every OP since his introduction.
Barring Volume 5 where only the Seer’s tentacles were seen, the Grimm have been in all six OPs.
Neo has had the longest delay between introduction (Volume 2) and appearance in an OP (Volume 6).
Hazel vs Renora and Yang vs Mercury (both from Triumph) are the only times fight animations have been recycled and used within a season. Some shots and animations are reused (such as the shot in Volume 1 of RWBY standing in a circle as the camera pans around them), but this is the first time entire segments of the OP are reused in such a manner.
This Will Be The Day teases the least amount of fights of any of the OPs. Rising is second.
Time To Say Goodbye introduces the largest amount of characters. When It Falls introduces the least.
Tyrian is the only member of Team WTCH to miss an OP after his first appearance, due to missing the Volume 5 OP.
Watts is the only member of Team WTCH to never be part of an opening credits fight scene.
Outside of the group fight against the Grimm in Let’s Just Live and the charge against the Grimm in When It Falls, Jaune has never been part of an opening credits fight and is the only member of RWBYJNPR to never fight a human in any of the OPs- unless we count him strangling Oscar.
Adam and Emerald are tied for most prolific villains in third place after Cinder and Mercury.
Ozpin is the only character to appear in an OP after his death.
Summer is the only character to have died before the show began and still appear in an OP barring Ozpin’s past lives.
The heroes with the least amount of appearances are Penny, CFVY, and Winter at one each. Regarding the villains, Neo is dead last at one appearance, with Tyrian just pulling ahead with two.
With the exception of When It Falls where she is part of a group shot, Ruby has been the first human character seen in every OP.
When It Falls is the only opening where Jeff sings.

Disaster of Admirers
By wolfstyle2074
Tristan Vasilias and Dana Coal are in the front line of the Cinema for their first date. They the third pair to appear in the line to purchase tickets to see the movie called, Rage Fury. Not romantic, but very exciting to see. "Aww man, I've been waiting to see this film since we were kids." Tristan said looking at Dana.
"Me too. I have been mimicking some motorcycle stunts when I saw some clips. Looks pretty cool." Dana said. Indeed, she owns a motorcycle for many occasions. "Really? Teach me some moves for some time." Tristan said. As Dana giggled in that comment. When they finally reached the counter of the booth, Tristan paid for the tickets.
Suddenly, a mysterious text from an unknown number has appeared in Tristan's scroll. He raised a brow to his confusion. "Unknown text?" He muttered. He opens his text and reads it. He blinked and snapped his eyes opened in shock.
"Dah!" He gasped as he saw the message.
You belonged to me and me only, Tristy-boo. Thought you have forgotten about me completely didn't you? You forgot that you are mine. Dump that girl and I won't do anything horrible.
Dana then looked through the text as they went to have popcorn. "Um, Tris?" She asked. As Tristan paled. He was told by his father to be careful of who he choose to date. "Sorry, someone must've gotten the wrong number." He assured. But Dana wasn't convinced. Feeling that some fan of his must've been stalling him. "Alright, let's get going. I don't want to miss this out in the world." Dana said. But to remain vigilant. After all, she and Tristan are friends. Her father is also president of a music industry.
"So, have you seen Kai making explosive graffiti?" Asked Tristan. Dana couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, on InstaRem. Totally hilarious when he took out the Gaslight records. They literally tried to bring my dad down for retro music. They never gave up. Tell Kai I thanked him to bringing these guys in their place." Dana commented. Apparently, her father, Flynt have rivals that wanted to take out his industry. Then Tristan received another text. And it disturbed him even more.
If you don't ditch her right now. I am coming for ya. But still, you look handsome with your goggles on, don't take them off.
Or do you want me to hire some thugs to sweep your sister away? I can do that. I have enough money in the world to being you back to me.
Come on, Tristy-boo. I hate waiting.
This makes Tristan very pale as he rushed himself and Dana to Room 23. Later as the movie reached the middle of the plot, Dana is eating the popcorn. While Tristan looks around to see if his stalker is around. He sighs as he saw nobody coming out as it was only two of them in the seats.
But Dana hears a notification of her text and checks her scroll. And blinks in confusion as she read the text and shows it to Tristan. "Tristan, what is this?" She asked, suspiciously. Tristan got scared the moment he saw the text.
Give Tristan back, and I'll consider paying you 100,000,000 Lien. If you don't, then you're dead.
Tristan cannot think of anything else but to run. And grabs Dana's hand to yank her out of the theater. "We need to get out of here." He yelped. Running through the hallways, since his brother, Tide is a police officer in Vale City. "Tristan, what is the meaning of this?!" Demanded Dana.
"Ah, yeah, long story short! My crazy ex wants to get back together with me! But she couldn't take a hint!" Replied Tristan. "You're kidding?" Sighed Dana as they ran to the exit to contact the authorities.
-Flashback-
It turns out that Tristan's ex-girlfriend is a rich girl named, Vivian Starlet. The daughter of Gaslight Records president, Flynt Coal's arch rival. He dated her, not because she's rich. But thought she was cute and sweet in her personality. His parents liked her at first because of her politeness towards them. But for Tide, he never liked her for some reason.
Vivian does stuff for him sometimes, even if he refused, thinking about not taking advantage of her. But she insisted by taking him out on dates, offering him gifts as any of his fans does. But was much clingier in her other side.
She also turned out to be in the same gymnastics team as his younger sister, Tristina. But had no idea that she was his sister and was jealous of her for her skills and praised from her superiors. As a result Vivian starts to bully Tristina.
"Give me back my hairpin! It was a gift from my brother!" Demanded Tristina as she ran to one of Vivian's friends as they tossed the hairpin to each other to prevent her from getting him back. "Says the crybaby who stole my thunder, haha!" She laughed. Singled out, Tristina started to cry. As they kept laughing at her reaction.
"Oh, are you crying now! Go home to Mommy!" She taunted. Tristan then stopped to see in shock of what Vivian is doing to his sister. "What is the meaning of this?!" Tristan shouted. The. Vivian makes a fake smile to make it look like nothing happens. But then Tristina ran to her brother and hugs him as she explained it. "Tristan, this mean girl was picking on me and took my hairpin!" She wailed. Tristina then hugged back.
Then glared at his soon-to-be ex. "How could you do this to my sister?!" He shouted as he then started to boil. Vivian paled at this revelation. "I-I had no idea that was your sister..." She paused. Then Tristan walks over to her with a hateful stare and snatched the hairpin from her. "Give me that!" Then he returns to his sister and gives the pin back to her. "Here sis. I'm sorry. Didn't realized how much of a jerk she is." He then turned back to Vivian. "We're over, Vivian. And don't ever call me again." He warned.
Despite the breakup. This left Vivian heartbroken. "Wait, Tristy-boo! I am sorry! Come back!" She wailed. But he wasn't going to let that slide. As he and his sister walked home. The next day, Vivian started to stalk him from Sanctum Academy, to Argus. Things gotten worse when he received letters. Then comes the threats as his ex invited many girls to his house, uninvited. Then comes the text from unknown numbers. And the harassment continues as Vivian made multiple attempts to get back with him. After the incident with Tristina, Weiss is furious and shuts Vivian out for good. "Picking on your son's girlfriend after 5 months, you're the the worst!"
Finally, Tristan has enough. Since his father is police chief. He told his parents everything. Then his parents, Weiss and Neptune, have applied a restraining order against Vivian. The week, Vivian then has one of her friends to spy on him and his sister.
Threatening him to harm Tristina if he does not date her again. "Mom, Dad, Vivians' nuts." He said. Then Neptune and Weiss called Vivian's parents again to make a final warning. Since they now could not stand Vivian.
"This is our final warning! If she doesn't stay away from our son, and daughter, we'll have my mother-in-law press charges on your daughter with aggravated stalking!" Warned Weiss. Vivian's parents paled and sincerely apologies to them. In fear that their daughter will land them in court. "We're very sorry!" Said Vivian's mother.
They never saw Vivian again. As her parents moved away from Argus to Vale. But as Vivian realized that she will be in the same academy as Tristan, she sought her chance to get back together with him as he had no idea.
-Present-
Tristan and Dana arrived in the police station to show Tide a series of text. "Sorry to came this later, bro. But Dana and I are in serious danger. My ex is coming for me, and she won't stop stalking me. Look at the text." Then Tristan takes out his scroll and showed him a series of text messages, including from Dana's scroll. And Tide knew he had to track down that number to make an arrest.
"I see. Maybe you two can wait here for the night and I'll track this person down. I'll contact Dana's father to pick her up if possible." Tide told them. They nodded. But unexpectedly, Tristan's best friend, Kai Wukong has a surprise for them. "You filthy Faunus! Let me go at once! Do you have any idea who I am?!" Vivian yelled as she was carried over the shoulder, bound by wrists and feet.
"Yeah, I know who you are, a crazy stalker." Kai then told Tide. "Oh, hey officer. I got this girl here whose been stalking my friend." He greeted. Putting Vivian down. Making puppy dog eyes at Tristan, making him unsatisfied. "Tristy-boo, you wouldn't let me get arrested, would you?" She pleaded.
But Tristan wasn't falling for her act. "You can't take a hint, can you? I told you before, we're over. O-V-E-R, over! And that Faunus is my best friend! And you don't have the right to judge him." Tristan repeats as he was already fed up with her. Vivian the turned to Dana with hateful glare as she thought about stealing her ex-boyfriend back. "This is all your fault, Coal! Wait until Daddy pays me to bail out! Nobody dumps Vivian Starlet! No one!" She yelled as she was handcuffed by Tide, Tristan's older brother. "You're under arrest for aggravated stalking." Tide told her. "You have a right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you."
"That girl ain't right in the head." Sighed Dana, but relieved that it's finally over.
Tristan then turned to Kai, believing to was over. "Thanks, man. I owe you for that." He gave him a thumbs up as Kai did the same with a grin. "Hey no prob. I figured she was gonna followed you." He said. Then Tristan turns to Dana to apologize for their date gone wrong. "Sorry about our first date, Dana. Is there anyway I can make it up to you?" Then Dana pursed her lips go think about it.
"Tris, please. It was just a bad date. Maybe the roller rink would do fine."
"You got it!" He said.
The next day, since it's Saturday, Tristan and Dana have enjoyed their time in the roller rink. And made sure to change their numbers in case Vivian tries something. Vivian got expelled from Beacon Academy since her male classmates feared her. And her current boyfriend broke up with her after finding out about her plans to steal Tristan.
The second ex-boyfriend apologized to Tristan, telling him that he has no idea of Vivian's true colors as a stalker and a cheater. Then she was sent to Neo Atlas for rehabilitation of her behavior because the charges were serious and thought she just needed help in getting over Tristan.
But her father arrived to bail her out with money. But General Winter Schnee, the renowned leader of the military, refused. But assured him in a calm manner. After all, she didn't attend to hold her long, until the rehab is complete. "Please, I am so sorry! You can't lock my baby away!" He pleaded.
"Calm down, sir. We're not going to hold her for long. But this is for her own good." She said. But with Vivian strapped to be kept from getting away to cause any more harm. Hissing like a cat raising her claws. "Tristy-boo! I want my Tristy-boo!" She hissed, frightening the nurses and doctors.
"Uh, ma'am, it looks like she was just suffering from eternal heartbreak and depression. We'll have to examine further before we can write down the medical prescriptions."
"Just go easy on her." Said Winter.
"Yes, sir."
Later Tristan and Tristina's parents have visited Tide in his office as he was gathering evidence that was due in court. Where they have a chat about the incident at the movie theater. "You know, when Dad first met Mom. People said he was after her for the money. But they when they get to know one another, this isn't about the money. But to be fair, Dad totally adored her so much, and we are here now."
Tristina then noticed two babies behind her elder brother in their strollers. Her eyes sparkled at the sight of cuteness. As she came closer to them. "Oh! Where do these cuties came from?! Are they yours, Tide?!" Asked Tristina as she saw the babies, twins to be exact. One is a girl's with white hair, and the other is a boy with blue hair. "You're married?!" Asked Tristan. But This chuckled and corrected them. "Actually, I'm engaged. And yes, these kids are mine. Meet Snow." Tide gestured at his daughter. And then turned to the blue-haired baby. "And Celrum." He said.
"Does Mom and Dad knew about this?" Asked Tristan. Tide shook his head. But it is supposed to be a surprise for their parents. "Sorry to have kept this from you guys. But I just wanted this to be a surprise for them. I can't wait for our parents to meet them when the wedding starts. Hey, Tris, how would you like to be my best man at the wedding?" Asked Tide. Tristan smiled as he wanted to be his best man as a kid. "How can I say no to my big bro?" Said Tristan. While Tristina dotes on the twin babies. "Hi there you cuties, it's your Auntie Tristie!" She cooed. While carrying them one at a time.
