UPDATE 9/2/23

Wow, it's almost fall and I'm still kickin', so here's a proper update about what's been going on with me. I do feel great most days, and with Halloween in season around the US, it makes me very happy. As far as stroke recovery goes, my leg has a newly made brace and my walking in general has greatly improved the past few months. I really don't roll my left foot anymore, in other words, my foot can go flat instead of landing on the ankle and possibly causing injury.

My arm is still mostly nothing but a couple weeks back I was able to move my shoulder again so there's hope. I also got a home electrical stimulation device so I give my arm and hand a jolt for an hour everyday. With time, I feel confident i'll recover.

A great help with my recovery has been the amazing @dagdasgoddess , a fellow young stroke survivor who has been watching out for me and offering encouragement every day for a couple months now, exactly when I needed it. Mentally, stroke recovery is pretty damn tough but most days I feel positive about it, with great thanks to her.

And now on to some business. Shortly before my stroke I was planning on celebrating the 10th anniversary of my blog (which would have been in December of last year, but I was still in the hospital, obviously...) And one of the things I was going to do was photograph and review all the smt demon figures I have, using my special diorama table. I got around to starting the project a couple weeks before the stroke, naturally starting with the Leonard figure. Here's one of the pics:

I also want to talk about some milestones reached, starting with some follower counts. By December last year I finally surpassed 2k followers, so thank you so very much. This is after Kanekos Crib Notes quickly dwarfed my own blog followers shortly after its establishment in like 2014. But now my own blog is even ahead of kcn, as undoubtedly its current annual schedule limits its growth and reach. (But hey, it's almost October, aka KCN MONTH)

The last milestone is above: my Stealing Knowledge blogger has reached half a million views! Unbelievable, thanks for reading and sharing over the years! Identity crisis part 3 remains the most viewed, with over 50k on its own.

Finally, I want to talk about the future. Another 10th anniversary plan was to try and monetize the blog somehow, probably via a Patreon for new articles and such and many other ideas, maybe even doing YouTube videos to answer asks instead of them being all text. I have lots of other ideas too, but they'll have to wait until my arm works again. So instead of monetizing the future, for now I'm just going to ask y'all kindly to chip in for the blog's past. I'm amazed at how much activity the blog still generates from--let's call it "legacy content".

To that end, I have set myself up a kofi account where you can show your appreciation for that "legacy", kuwabara, kuwabara, if you'd like. All money earned will go towards paying down bills accrued during my recovery, like my hyperbaric treatments. In perfect honesty, it's been around 3000 US dollars so far. Don't feel obligated to contribute and thank you all for still sticking around with me despite my relative inactivity. And if course, continue keeping @sorenblr busy if you wish.

I would also not expect my own recovery before next year, that's just stroke for you. Thank you all!!!!!

NorthSonic fic idea-

Everyone in x hunter is all tired after betting in the Epic NorthSonic Get Together bet that went on for a whole year after the events of Pit Babe, started and maintained by Kim who kept tabs on every development and in which everyone participated, including Jeff the self-proclaimed hermit and Babe, who like to stay 10 feet away from messy romantic relationships these days.

(Jeff had his future seeing powers wiped away with the magic serum shortly after the Pit Babe events so Kim allows him to participate. Tho Jeff regrets giving up his powers slightly after seeing the wagers involved.)

But it leads to nothing for literal months.

Kim is so, so close to giving up his detailed spreadsheets with times and dates and locations of where North and Sonic were seen together and everyone in the team is quite close to assuming that the alpha and omega were just v v good friends who sometimes liked to cuddle and nuzzle and share their bed and nest with e/o. It happens. They have seen weirder things. Like Way getting knocked up with Pete's child and marrying the man in the course of 3 months.

At this time members from other racing team have also joined, some under diff aliases, cause North and Sonic, the chaotic duo, were popular and well-loved in the thai racing scene, and there was no lack of hush-hush gossiping about the relationship status every season.

X hunter secret betting association (secret cause they want to keep it out of Alan's eyes, not knowing that he knows this already and has even placed a bet with an alias in favour of North and Sonic being together. Can't be caught publicly making bets about his team members, he needs be a responsible owner u.u)

Except the spreadsheets fall on North and Sonic's hand (or maybe only one of them) along with the wagers. By now the entire narrative has shifted, and most are betting that North and Sonic are not, and will not, be together ever.

The only people still favouring the duo being together are Alan (under his alias ofc), Kim (he swears he get couple vibes from the two), and Kenta, who is participating solely to support if bf, and a random few names from the other teams.

NorthSonic sees this, and like the gremlins they are, they see this as a lovely opportunity to make a nice, quick buck. Afterall, who told ~80% of the thai racing scene to speculate so shamelessly into other people's love lifes?

They laugh at how delulu people are these days, because in which universe would they fall in love and be together? Their laugh tapers off into silence and they stare at e/o's eyes. They turn a little red, look away, and a few minutes later together arrive at a wonderful idea—they'll place bets and pretend to get together for a month to snag the money.

It all goes well.

They turn out to be very good actors—turning their usual cuddles, back hugs etc a little longer and posting pics of them visiting places together like always, except this time they stand a little closer and put heart emojis and kissing faces when they post and tag e/o.

Then they start occasionally dropping a kiss or two on the other's cheeks, forehead or lips. What's a little kissing between homies, right?

Then they both start bringing each other random gifts and flowers, red roses and perfumes and all that glitz that online magazines will heap praises on them for.

It's nice. Too nice.

They both start realizing that maybe they like the more than a homie. It's slow. But it's there. North and Sonic both feel shy yet can't stop cause BAHTS.

The deadline for the bet arrive and they (along with Kim, Kenta and Alan) have a very, very happy day.

They have a nice dinner at a nice beachside restaurant in Pattaya as an ending celebration for their successful, month-long fake relationship while sipping fancy imported wine.

Then they go to a beachside bar, like they do after every successful race, and get drunk off their asses. They stumble back to the hotel, fall on the large bed of their suite (cause why pay for two suites when you can share one with your homie?)

They make good use of the nice, soft, large hotel bed.

They wake up in the morning and find themselves staring at e/o and smile and decide to not talk about it.

They go back to Bangkok together in one car.

North drives Sonic to his house and go to Alan's himself, where he stumbles into the team-uncle's arms, ignoring Jeff's very concerned glances, and is escorted (more like dragged) to a room by Alan, who then shuts the door after him, telling Jeff to not worry, he can take care of it.

Alan gets a call and leaves the room. Some time passes, during which North completely panics and wonders if his friendship will ever be salvageable, if he can ever look at Sonic as a friend, if he wants to look at Sonic as a friend, would Sonic ever look at him as someone more than a friend, why would Sonic never look at him as someone more than a friend, why is Sonic so pretty, why does Sonic have the prettiest eyes, Why does Sonic look so hot when he's moaning and telling North to fuck him harder, why is Sonic so nice and soft and cute and small for an alpha, would Sonic ever knot him, how would Sonic help him through his heats if he were his boyfriend, why did he never realize how much he loves Sonic, why is he not dating Sonic anymore, why did he not confess when he had the chance, why was he so greedy for money, is not getting to date Sonic the retribution for being so sinfully greedy about Money-

Alan comes back right then as he's spiralling out of control.

He offers North an ibruprofen, a bottle of water, and a long, long hug during which he pats the boy and tells him it will be ok as the omega wets his shirt with tears and snot. (Alan cringes only a little. He's quite used to it by now.)

He gives North a short speech about the importance of communication, and another about birth control and safe sex. North splutters at the later one and mournfully says that it's useless, Uncle should save his breath.

Alan smiles mysteriously and leaves the room.

Fifteen minutes later Sonic is pushed into the room by Alan and the door bangs close, leaving two of them in the room.

(Alan smiles at Jeff's raised eyebrows and says it'll all work out. He was the one who talked Sonic into coming here, he knows his boys and he knows they are finally ready to take their heads off their asses.)

When the door is opened 2 hours later (because Alan can not possibly starve his boys, no matter how much he wants them to talk it out), the couch and the table in the room have already been sullied. The bed would have been next, and also Alan's eyes, but North and Sonic were a little too too tired by then.

Alan is sad for his furniture, but it comes with the two dumbasses in his team finally sorting themselves out and making Alan worry less, so it's a worthy trade. And he also has the money from the bet :)

The rest of the team only knows much, much later, thanks to a slip of tongue from Jeff while talking with Charlie, who tells Babe, and the secret is out.

Kim is very happy and by proxy Kenta is too, but the rest are a little miffed. They get over it soon after seeing how happy North and sonic are.

The secret is never spilled out of the team, however, because even Kim, with his cute korean looks and winning smile can't keep it down if ~70% of the thai racing scene starts yelling at him for unofficial fraud. And also cause he, and NorthSonic really like their profits from the bet.

it's been two weeks since joe and i made up and attended the team dinner together.

the dinner ended up being a really fun night. joes teammates are really sweet, so are their girls that were super welcoming, the food was great, and joe gave me a tour of the facility when almost everyone had left.

when joe dropped me off back at my parents house i couldn't wipe the smile off my face, there were some flirty moments we had shared and i couldn't get him off my mind.

even the next morning, i walked downstairs for breakfast grinning like an idiot. it didn't go unnoticed by my mom either.

"who's got you smiling like that?" - your mom

"oh nothing.." - you

"joe?" - your mom gave you a knowing smile

"maybe." - you

"how'd last night go?" - your mom

"really.. really good. i didn't want the night to end." - you

"so did you and joe flirt?" - your mom

"a little bit. i don't know it could've been one sided. after everyone was mostly gone joe gave me a tour of the stadium that ended at his locker. it was dark in the locker room and at one point we were just looking at each other. it was so intense i thought we were going to kiss, but ja'marr walked in and turned the lights on. we both awkwardly backed away from each other and just looked at our feet." - you

"definitely doesn't sound one sided!" - your mom

"even if it wasn't.. it was probably just in the moment." - you

you didn't know it of course, but later that day joe had a similar conversation with your mom.

"so how'd last night go?" - your mom smiled when the question made joe blush

"really good. it was an amazing night, i'm really glad i found the courage to ask y/n to be my date." - joe

"so did you try to make any moves?" - your mom

"yeah actually. i'm not the best at flirting but i think y/n noticed my attempts at it. after the tour i gave her of the stadium we were standing at my locker, all the lights were off, and we were just staring at each other. i made a split second decision and was going to kiss her but ja'marr walked in and ruined the moment." - joe

"you were gonna kiss her!?" - your mom

"yes, it was the perfect moment. i was gonna finally tell her how i've felt for years." - joe

"i'm sorry ja'marr ruined the moment."

- your mom

"it's fine, at practice a couple days ago he apologized to me after i told him my plan." - joe

"so, you have a plan b?" - your mom

"i was thinking about asking her to go to my first regular season game, since i'll be playing. it's my first game back from my injury and i really want her to be there. if we win we'll probably have an after party and i can confess there." - joe

"sounds good. i'm so happy you're finally telling her." - your mom

"i am too. i just really hope she feels the same way." - joe

*end of flashback*

a couple days ago, my family went over to the burrow's for dinner. after we were done, joe and i went into the basement and were watching a movie when he asked me to go to his game. i could tell he was nervous about something during the movie and when he asked me the sweetest question it made sense.

"hey so, sundays the first game of the real season. it's home, and my first game back since my injury. i really want you to be there. you don't have to go if you don't want to.. but i'd love if you were there cheering me on." - joe

"i'd love to go joe. i wouldn't miss your first game back for the world." - you

"good. i'll give you your ticket tomorrow, i don't know if my parents are sitting in the stands or the suite but i'm sure they'll do whatever you'd be more comfortable with." - joe

"i think sitting in the stands would be more fun, but you have to promise me one thing." - you

"what's that?" - joe smiled

"you'll dab me up when you come out to stretch." - you

"i can promise that" - joe

the next day joe had given me my ticket, and now today was the day. i woke up extra early today, i wanted to look my best for the game (and joe).

i had washed my face and put my mascara on, wearing leather leggings and joes bengals shirt. my speaker was playing lowly in the back ground, it was kinda sad but i had a playlist to hype me up playing. but, if things went the right way tonight i might be confessing to joe tonight.

a song i really liked came on, and since i was ready for the most part i started dancing along to the song. my back was to the door, using my hairbrush as a microphone.

"any reason why i wasn't invited to the dance party?" - joes deep voice startled you

i jumped as i turned around only to see joe with his arms crossed, leaning against the door frame.

"joe! you can't just walk in my room!" - you

"i knocked! no one answered so i thought i was free to walk in." - joe shrugged

"what do you need" - you sighed

"i actually have a couple things for you" - joe

"what?" - you smiled

joe stood up straight and motioned for me to follow him back into my room, when i did i saw a gift back sitting on my bed.

"what's this for?" - you grinned up at him

"just some gifts, want to show you how much i appreciate you by getting you stuff for the game." - joe

i removed the tissue paper out of the bag only to see a cluster of orange, black, and white.

when i pulled everything out i realized that joe had gotten me his jersey, and not just one either. the orange, black, and white jerseys were all in the bag.

"joe you didn't have to get me all this!" - you smiled at him as you held them to your chest

"yeah i did. you've been supporting me my whole career well my whole life. this is your first bengals game and i really want to make you proud, i want to show you that all the hard work payed off. every time i made you pass with me in the backyard helped me get here, i'm just really excited for you to watch me in the nfl." - joe

"awww, joey. don't make me cry." - you dropped the jerseys on the bed before pulling joe into a hug

"i'm already so proud of you." - you

"thank you. there's more in the bag by the way."

- joe gave a somewhat cocky smirk as he pulled away from you

"you really spoiled me huh?" - you

"yup" - joe grinned

i moved back over to the bag on my bed and looked inside. there was a bengals beanie, a snapback hat, and a tiny box in the corner.

"what's this?" - you picked the box up

"open it" - joe smiled

i returned his smile before opening the box to see a dainty necklace with a "9" charm.

"this is so pretty! you didn't have to do all this joe.." - you

"yeah i did. you've done so much for me, this is just a small thank you." - joe

i walked back over to joe and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"i love everything. thank you so much." - you

"you're welcome, y/n. i knew i wanted to get you a jersey because all you have is my shirt, but i didn't know which jersey color you'd like most.. so i got them all." - joe chuckled

"which one do you think i should wear today??"

- you

"mmm, we're wearing the white jerseys today. wanna match?" - joe laughed

"okay so white jersey, what accessories?" - you

"the necklace of course, i don't think you'll need a hat today." - joe

"i'll put it on right now, can you help me?" - you

joe nodded and i handed the necklace to him. i stood in front of him as he moved my hair to the side and put the necklace around my neck.

"why do they make these clasps so damn small."

- joe grumbled as he struggled to get it clasped

"can you do it?" - you chuckled

"yup.. got it!" - joe moved your hair back in place after he got the necklace on

i turned around to face him and he moved the necklace to where it was perfectly centered.

"it looks really good on you." - joe

"thanks joey" - you

"y/n when are you leaving?!" - your mom stormed into your room

both joe and i's eyes snapped up to my mom, who was now awkwardly standing in the doorway with her jaw slightly dropped.

"sorry.. i didn't mean to interrupt. i didn't know you were here joe.." - your mom

"it's okay, i have to get going anyways. gotta get to the facility." - joe started towards the door

"bye joe. thanks again for everything."

- you smiled

"you're welcome. i'll see you later." - joe winked before walking past your mom and out of the room

"oh. my. god." - your mom mouthed

i licked my lips, recalling everything that just happened.

"what'd he get you? that bag is huge y/n!"

- your mom

"this necklace with his number on it, every color of his jersey, a bengals snapback, and beanie."

- you

"awww isn't that sweet." - your mom smiled

"he put my necklace on for me, i couldn't describe to you the amount of butterflies i had in my stomach mom." - you

"i'd say. you need to hurry up and finish getting ready though, robin and jimmy are already downstairs to go to the game." - your mom

"okay!" - you

when my mom left the room i ran my hand over my face in attempts to wipe the stupid smile off my face as i looked at the gifts laying on my bed.

god joe was the best.

*time skip*

"you excited??" - robin

"oh totally, i'm happy to be here for joes first game back. it's still crazy to me that he's in the nfl." - you

"it's still crazy to me too. he's really excited for you to see him, but a little nervous too. he said he was going to be embarrassed if he lost the first game you saw." - robin

"win or lose im probably gonna tackle him in a hug later." - you chuckled

robin and jimmy exchanged a small smile. what's that about?

"joe came to me a week ago asking what he should get you for your little bengals goodie bag." - robin

"aww how sweet." - you

"that's what i thought too, but he shot down all of my ideas. so i hope you liked everything he got you, because he picked it out all by himself."

- robin

i laughed while thinking about how sweet joes gesture was, he has me wrapped around his finger.

"i love everything. especially the necklace." - you

"necklace? i was only showed the jerseys and hats." - robin

"oh uh, yeah he got me a necklace. it's just a dainty little chain with a nine charm." - you pulled the necklace out from under your jersey

"how adorable. i'll need to make sure to get a picture of you two after the game. oh and we're gonna be sitting near the tunnel, it'll be the bottom row so you can say hi to joe during warmups." - robin

"sounds good" - you looked away and out the window, trying to hide your blush

*time skip*

i followed robin and jimmy to our seats, i received a few weird looks from some fans but i understand why. a strange female was walking around with their quarterback's parents so i could see where they were coming from.

"don't take the fangirls looks to heart. they watch joes every move, and here you are a young beautiful woman that's hanging around his parents. they're gonna be a little suspicious."

- robin

"i'll be okay, they'll find out i'm just a close friend soon. but i have to be honest, i didn't know joe had fangirls." - you laughed

"oh yeah, i foresee the number of them increasing with his return. and honey let's be real, you're more to joe than just a close friend." - robin

"i don't know about that-" - you

"here they're coming out to stretch!" - jimmy

my eyes left robin and shot over to the tunnel exit, watching for the familiar 6'4 stature. i was starting to wonder if joe had forgotten because most of the players were out stretching and i hadn't been approached yet.

"he's probably nervous about the game, i'm sorry that he forgot honey." - robin

"it's okay-" - you get cut off by a familiar voice yelling your name

"y/n!" - joe

my eyes darted around till they landed on joe, just a couple rows of people between us. a huge smile formed on my face as i waved at him, he returned the smile and motioned for me to come down.

i stood up and walked down the stairs to the bottom row before sticking my hand over the edge to connect it with joe's.

"you kept your promise" - you smiled

"of course, i always keep the promises i give you. i also thought a picture of us dabbing each other up would be insanely cool." - joe

"you're mom wants to get a pic of us after the game." - you

"we can do that." - joe nodded, his smile never leaving his face

"don't you have to get going?" - you looked around at the other players already warming up

"i've got a couple minutes. i really appreciate you coming by the way. i was kinda nervous because it's my first game since my injury, but you being here really helps." - joe

"of course, i'm happy to be here! do you like my fit??" - you

"well duh. you look amazing always, but you look extra good in my jersey." - joe

"yeah? i wore my necklace too." - you

"it looks really pretty on you." - joe grinned

"thanks, joey." - you

"burrow!!" - zac

joe sighed as he turned around and saw zac motioning for him.

"i gotta go, i'll see you after though?" - joe

"of course. i hope you win." - you

"thanks, i'll try to win it.. for you." - joe

i looked away to try to hide the blush on my cheeks, but joe laughed.

"see ya later, y/n" - joe

"see ya, burrow." - you smiled to yourself as you watched joe turn around and run to his coach across the field

the game was absolutely electric, everyone was so hyped for joes return and start of his redemption story. when the team ran out i got literal chills, it was insane seeing joe play in the nfl and i can’t put into words how proud of him i am.

*time skip*

four quarters and overtime later, i was jumping up and down when the score ended in 27 - 24. joe had won his first game back!

“i’m so proud of him!” - you yelled to robin over the cheering crowd

“i know you are honey! i am too! wanna go ahead and start going towards the players exit?” - robin

“sure!” - you

i couldn’t wipe the smile off my face as i walked with jimmy and robin to the players exit. we stood near the door, leaning against the wall. i knew it was going to take joe awhile, but i didn’t expect him to text me soon after the players got back to the locker room

i’m gonna shower rq, do my press conference, and head straight out to you guys.

okay sounds good, we’re standing by the exit. don’t feel like you have to rush yourself, you need to celebrate the win joe.

i’m going to, we’re going to our go-to bar to celebrate.

oh okay, so are we still gonna get that picture your mom wants?

yeah, why wouldn’t we? just bc im going out to celebrate doesn’t mean im not gonna go talk to you guys. plus i was hoping you’d go with me.

“hey guys!” - joe

all three of our heads snapped up in joes direction, we were all kind of dazed while staring at the ground waiting for him.

i tackled him in a hug, and he didn’t seem taken back at all when i jumped on him.

“i’m so proud of you.” - you

“won it for you, y/n” - joe

“you’re gonna do great things this year joe, and all the years after that.” - you

“i hope you’re there for all of them” - joe

“i will be, joey.” - you smiled at him as you moved one of his curls out of his face

after that i moved to the side so he could talk to his parents before robin asked to stand together for a picture.

joe had his arm around my back, his big hand on my shoulder as my hand was pressed onto the middle of his back.

“smile!” - robin

she snapped a few pics before showing them to joe and i.

“you make me look so short.” - you jokingly complained

“you make me look so tall.” - joe retorted

“oh whatever” - you laughed as you shoved his chest

joe and i continued to laugh together till robin and jimmy decided to leave, and joe and i were walking to his car.

“im really glad you’re coming with me. you know i dont like settings like that, but you make it more bearable” - joe opened your door for you before he shoveled to the other side and sat down.

“i’m just the best.” - you joked

“you really are.” - joe looked over at you, his eyes going from your eyes to your lips and back.

you didn’t know it, but he wanted to kiss you so bad. hopefully though, if everything goes right tonight, he’ll be able to do that as much as he wants.

I've been hooked on My Adventures With Superman for 3 weeks now and you know what, I now know why.

This is the first superhero/action media I've been obsessed with in a long while.

To be clear, I've been obsessed with The Spider-Verse films thus far and the MCU's last hold on me was WandaVision. But outside of those, not much else has caught my attention. And I finally understand why.

I'm fed up with cinematic universes.

There's a reason my relationship with the MCU broke off post WandaVision. After that show, I pretty much lost interest in having to watch what's next cuz shared universe lol and how they'll try really hard to convince you to see all the films & TV shows just so you can keep up with the universe.

Between the fact that I'm a broke bitch, movies being expensive and having spent 10+ years keeping up with ALMOST every fucking film the MCU has offered...I may be a bit burnt out ngl.

Combine that with my immense disappointment in how Young Justice S3 turned out or whatever the fuck the DCEU ended up being as of it's recent offerings and you just have me facepalming repeatedly for the past couple of years.

The studios wanna keep making these interconnected films but keep forgetting the most important part when creating their 10+ films & TV shows: They're all reliant on what's coming rather than what's in front of them.

There are exceptions but not by much. Regardless, I'm genuinely tired of hearing about plans for a rebooted universe or how the MCU plans on giving us more shows & movies but can't be bothered to pay their workers fairly and rush their CGI artists to near death.

Which brings me back to My Adventures With Superman (or MAWS as I'll be calling it going forward cuz long title lol.) This show was the first time an action/superhero show has me hooked. Action shows used to be my shit and I'd obsess over them. Young Justice was the last show to hype me up. And sadly that show fell into mediocrity as well due to it's inability to know when plots should end and having too many characters on screen.

MAWS however is solely focused on Superman characters and has a much smaller cast as a result. It's not focused on expanding any bigger universe but instead focus on Supes' beginnings and how he becomes the great man of steel who protects Metropolis. For once I don't worry about anything beyond what's being established in said show's plots.

I can't wait to see what's coming next at the moment cuz I know the season finale will tie up most of the plots established while leaving us hanging with what's coming for S2. And honestly, that's all I really want. More self-contained media that isn't reliant on having a shared universe.

"But what about the DCAU back in the day???"

All those shows worked and ended up coming together for Justice League quite nicely cuz EACH SHOW WAS MOSTLY SELF-CONTAINED AND FOCUSED ON ITS CORE CHARACTERS FIRST. They weren't entirely worried about Justice League. Even then, the crossovers were solid cuz they were often one-offs and damn good ones as well.

If they choose to have MAWS be the start of some DCAU reset, I'd be down for that but I'm also ok with just having self-contained superhero projects from here on out. I am completely burnt out from shared universes and the severe case of FOMO I get when I choose to save money.

TL;DR Go watch MAWS and support this lovely cartoon. Superman is back y'all and he's amazing (so are Lois & Jimmy too.)

The promo for TBOSAS ended a while ago and she did stuff for PCA but we shall see. Even before TBOSAS came out, she was singing praises to T. She’s been consistent for a year now.

Even for marketing purposes, R definitely went all out lol. Maybe it’s just me but I’m not telling a costar “let’s make every movie together” or saying “I miss my costar the most” to sell our current film. I’m also not sharing hot tub pics just to secure voting for PCA (the other pics would have still made people vote).

R definitely likes the attention she gets from T. She’s very fluttered that people like seeing them together. As opposed to J, they only get bad attention or very little positive social media engagement as a couple.

Side note: your question made me think - it’s very ironic that R likes age gap discourse and thinks people don’t like her and J together because he’s older. But people are fine with R and T potentially dating because he didn’t meet her when she was 17 lol. She doesn’t seem to understand that part of the equation.

My Stray Kids Fanmeet Experience

So i saw skz for the first time in real life the other day (jan 202023 to be exact :p) and i wanna write my whole experience so that i can look back at this in the future cuz my memory is shit 😅

It all started last year 2022 around Nov/Dec when bench announced that they'll have a bench x stray kids fanmeet this Jan 2023 (excite excite) so obv i just HAD to get tickets. ITS STRAY KIDS HELLO?

minor detour for some of that extra context lol:

I got into skz mid to late 2021 and ofc it was felix with his deep ass “cooking like a chef” yt short that sucked me in. From then on i just got hooked into their content and just them in general. Really nice to see a grp thats around my age doing something amazing like what theyre doing now.

Anyway! Back to my fan meet xp

So last yr i saw the announcement and got all majorly excited. At first i was thinking of getting VIP tickets. I was actually willing to spend 8k for a fanmeet and a chance to receive a poster from them. But then i saw the lines in bench and i was like,, hell naw! I aint gonna be putting myself through that. Y’all can wait in line for that imma spend my time elsewhere. So i waited for the promo period to get tickets for lower box instead. This was only 4k with a chance for a bye wave opportunity (no physical up close interaction like shaking hands or anything but at least u get to see them closer up). I was totally fine w this since i spend less and since im not going for what majority (who can afford) want, less ppl to deal with/wait in line for.

Now.. i went through s t r u g g l e just to claim my ticket after buying my stuff from bench. Dont really wanna retype everything since ive already shared w my friends so imma just attach screenshots of my rant

Now, after that whole ordeal, is the new year and i honestly forgot there was a raffle. Also can i just say, thank goodness ate girl (for those that dont know ate is filipino for sister that we use even for non relatives.. kinda like noona/unnie) was kind enough to send me my code that night so i was still able to enter my code for the raffle to win a bye wave opportunity. Cuz if not… i wouldnt have seen skz up close😿

Jan 12 day of the bye wave winners announcement: I checked my email around morning and noon; nothing. So i was like ayt, i didnt win. I’ll still get to see skz tho irl w decent seats.

BUT THEN

when i checked my email again in the evening- actually i didnt purposefully check my mail; i just saw the push notif on my phone. Something like “STRAY KIDS WINNER, congratulations!” and I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT. Like OH MY GOD. OH. MY. GOD!! I WON?!?!??? Suuuper ecstatic. Kept squeeling and shit. I could not even.😶😱🤗😵🥴🫠🤪🤪🤪

After i was able to calm down, I immediately let ate girl know if we could meet up earlier so i can get my receipt back so i can have no trouble on the day of the fanmeet when i claim the raffle. She was nice enough to agree and meet up earlier and it was nice that she seemed happy for my win (she also bought lb tix) kinda regretful i didnt try to be friends w her but im shy so whatever. I just want receipt so i can see the bois😛😁😁😁

Cut to day of fan meet. Wait no- actually.. the week of the fanmeet. The monday of that wk is when i met up w ate gurl to get my receipt. Friday was the fanmeet. In between i was tryna decide my outfit (that i dont have a pic of but whatever. i’ll describe it nalang) which ended up being a kinda loose white tank top with a green plaid long sleeve on top then dark grey/black slim jeans. Add in a couple of accessories ( choker, chains, earrings) and we’re good to go. Oh i also had on my hidden high heel highcut black sneakers (or at least i think theyre sneakers; can never remember fashion shtuff)

In case it wasn’t obvious i was fully planning to go on my own since my friends/cousins said they couldnt (busy or broke) so whatever. BUT THEN my friend, day before the fanmeet- night before actually- was like “ hey! Joke lang im actually going to the meet” so i was like “omg yay!” Not like that exactly but yeah. Same sentiments :p

I asked my friend if we could meet up on fri and she said sure. She’ll just be w her friend who got her the ticket.

Now! We can finally cut to the day of the fanmeet. Claiming for raffle winners are from 10am-2pm then theres an orientation @3pm so i went to moa around 12-1230, got my photo cards (chan, leeknow, & hyunjin) and the wristband showing me as a bye wave winner. Went around moa, had lunch in jollibee, waited around in my car for my friend to arrive around 4, 5pm. Ate again in ikea resto then we finally went to the venue.

While lining up we made friends w another stay who gave out some freebies (ngl i forgot her name🥲) she was sweet. I was kinda stupid and decided to split up from my friend (cuz there 2 lines and the one i went to was shorter but my friend didnt follow so 🙃☹️) so i ended lining up alone when i told her that i wanted to meet up so i wouldnt line up alone lol. Anyway, i got inside moa arena went to my seat in lb 221 and got ready for the fanmeet.

The fanmeet started around 7pm (tho gates opened at 5) it wasnt fully packed inside but there were still a LOT of Stay that attended. Tho i think gen ad was fully packed.

Honestly everything happened so fast that if i didnt take videos and didnt see the vids that others have posted online, i woulda forgotten everything but i know i enjoyed every minute of it😁

So first off skz opened w God’s Menu then the host, Sam Oh (who i know of because she used to be on radio and i loved listening to her shows then), introduced them and on the programme went.

The kids played some jenga w missions, whisper challenge, dance replay challange, domino challange, paint a shirt that was raffled out to the audience) call w a fan(that didnt work out cuz of cell service issues) also i didnt quite get that WE had to call the numbers of the phones in front of the skz members so i didnt really try until it was too late. One fan was able to connect tho but it didnt really work out too well. Im glossing over these and might have mentioned them in the wrong order but thats because there are tons of vids out there about these so i won’t go into detail.

At the end of the fan meet skz performed Case 143 and we moved on to the giving out of signed posters THEN my long anticipated bye wave opportunity. So while the poster receivers were getting ready so were the bye wavers. There was an usher of sorts holding a sign for us to recognize and follow to the exit. The staff told us that no pics/vid was allowed😕 sucks but i was planning to sneak a vid if possible. Others also tried im sure of it. I was 15/200 in line. Unfortunately because i was so close to the front and they were ushering us to the stage pretty fast, i couldnt set up my phone to video on time. No matter tho. There was a barrier that was too high for the phone in my front jean pocket to even capture anything so it wouldve failed anyway.

Going up the stage felt so rushed even tho the videos showed that we werent even walking that fast. But it felt so fast that i couldnt even tell you what order the kids were in when i was waving bye to them. Thank god for other Stays tho so imma put their line up here so i can recall my experience better

Ok so first i saw was IN and i gotta be honest i cant remember the experience 😭😭 id like to say we made brief eye contact but im not sure. I think i saw that he was looking at the ones behind me so i moved my eyes to Seungmin. Again i cant remember anymore so idek what actually happened here

Now Seungmin, bb, i swear we made eye contact and i think i shocked him with my hair cause his eyes widened and mouth opened wider while looking at me aidbsidbdlaj. Context: i have a shaved head. Tho im in the middle of growing it out. My last shave was mid Dec last yr so my hair at this point is about an inch to an inch and a half

Lemme just insert here that i COULD NOT stop smiling

Next was Felix and oh. my. GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!!! We made the looongest eye contact ever!!! wodbsisbdb SWEAR!! At least 2 seconds! It was glorious~ And his face was just so beautiful and his smile was angelic and he may not be my bias but he lives rent free mehn. Rent. Free. Period.

Ayt so Han. My bb, my bias. I feel so bad cause i think i got so caught up w looking at felix ( making fucken 2 second eye contact) that i think Han saw me not looking at him so he went on to say bye to the ones behind me already😖😣😔😢😭 tho i did try to catch his eyes but no such luck cause i had to keep moving

Moving on, it was Hyunjin. Very brief, my encounter with him. Again i think i spent too long looking at Felix that it just pushed back the rest to skip over me causing me to miss meeting eyes with the rest. But Hyunjin 👌 also he be the tallest of the grp

Same thing with Changbin tho i really did try my best to look at them whenever they were more or less directly in front of me. The size of this man tho! Batak! So buff 💪 i just wanna feel… all of it👀 in a non sexual way ofc😶 unless? 😏 jk (or am i🤔)

Lee Know is so pretty like wtf . But again he was already looking at those behind me😞 and i had to keep the line moving so.. sad=me Lee Know is my bias wrecker pa naman🫤 i really love his relationship w Han whether its just friends or whatever it is I just love seeing the interactions. (Ngl tho,, the fan edits of minsung that i see Stay post? Mmm is something alright)

Bang fucken Chan DOE! Maybe cuz he’s last idk. But he made it a point to look at me in the eyes😍🥰 made me soo happy~ and his smile! And dimples! My gosh he’s just adorable☺️😊🫠🫠🤭 i just wanna be your friend man. Actually i just wanna be friends with all 8 of them bdkajxhak

After all this we were ushered out of the arena and I decided to loiter a bit outside before i went back to my car. Fangirled like crazy. Then promptly went back to the hotel. I fangirled again when i saw my cousins at the hotel roofdeck cuz i couldnt just keep this in mehn i had to let it out and share my joy.

Later in the night i found out that skz stayed a bit longer to jam w the crowd while Doodle was playing. Kinda jealous but i got to see them up close so im content for now.

The upcoming concert in March tho.. i NEED to get sound check and vip tix. I just gotta💪 heres to me, hopin’ i get the tickets i want🤞🤞

what about like the moment you open up about your relationship with kazuxiao the fans who were already seeing that happen were celebrating and on both of y'alls insta or something is where you announce and it's like a picture of all 3 of you chilling together or something

and then when they finally appear on a variety show they're just questioned throughly and they talk about how you guys meet and what they like about you

ok but the moments where you just feel sort of insecure since being an idol is hard and you're technically dating your seniors and you're just hit by the antis who are against yourself relationship so you lock yourself in your room in your dorm by yourself to cope. your roommate (can be whoever) contacts them both and they immediately come over and come in and offer soft kisses and soft murmurs of reassurance that they'll never leave you and that everything's gonna be ok.

side note i can see xiao just being a whole meme without realizing?? for like variety shows he's just known for his dead pan expression and then i can see him being so competitive on shows like running man..mans ripping tags left and right, while kazuhas just hiding in a weird spot or something

kazuha on the other hand i can see him being a troll, he likes to mess around with the hosts of the show and manages to mess up some of their plans, he also likes messing with his group members, where xiao likes to say that kazuha looks innocent but is a part of the devil line with venti

onto albedo i can see him like answering questions in his vlive and fans realize that a lot of his songs are more romantic and sort of pining?? and they're asking where the motivation is from. he answers that it's just something that he saw recently so he felt motivated (it wasn't the fact that he had realized that he was 100% in love with you)

but like all of this mans inspiration comes from you, he's had multiple songs dedicated to you before your relationship was even open to the public, and when your relationship finally does, it just clicks for fans and it suddenly makes sense, your ship name trends worldwide for the day

but how you and albedo met, i can see both of you guys being in the industry already and you guys are sort of know each other but it was for a one time off collab with other artists involved so you didn't really talk with each other. like i said before albedos a solo artist while i can see you being a part of a popular group already. but then both of your companies decided to do another collab and especially picked you two since you guys already worked on a collab before.

at first it was like awkward since albedos really socially awkward but then things click when you guys start writing the song together. everything just matches so well?? and you guys just compliment each other?? and that's when you learn of albedo just staying at the studio so late so you often bring food. this leads to you guys getting closer and albedo even stops his work just to talk to you more. when your song comes out and everyone is waiting for the stage, there's just so much tension?? but the good kinda and everyone is awed by the song and the vocals coming from you and albedo.

i can also see the both of you guys appearing on variety shows together too, like appearing on a show where you two travel to another place and experience the culture there, with albedo being your tour guide and showing you all the famous places (one of the many times where fans were awed by his research and knowledge) and then if you guys were to appear together again after you guys reveal your relationship, a lot of the times they show idols as they wake up, they'll see you and albedo being clingy af to each other.

on another side note, albedos totally a troll on variety shows, he likes messing around with the hosts and other contestants since a lot of the time he's not really interested in the show itself, it's more for publicity. however, when he first appeared on a show with you fans noticed that he actually seemed interested for once and that's where your ship name started.

albedos totally a golden child tho, he's like basically perfect in everything so a lot of the times variety shows don't catch him slipping, however the one time that he did was when you were mentioned, the clip of with his ears bright red was trending for a couple of days :)

Okay okay but like for the 'announcement' picture, what if it's like those photo booth pics (but like each picture you need to scroll through like on Insta) where it's cute and wholesome! The three of you are having fun wearing some silly glasses or hats, doing peace signs or finger hearts....and the very last photo is the three of you sharing a kiss- or, at least trying to.

It's sweet, a little silly, and most of your fans take it really well! After all, they can see the chemistry that you share and can't deny that the three of you would have a good relationship.

As for the insecurities of dating your seniors, Kazuha and Xiao are quick to knock back any of those worries. They love you so, so much and hate the fact that something like that makes you doubt for a single second. If anyone ever tries to bring it up, you know that they're going to immediately quip back.

Naturally, you're roomed with Venven :D He's technically an up-and-coming after he stopped doing idol stuff for a few years, so not only does he know the ropes, but he's also one of your biggest fans and biggest supports (outside of Kazuha and Xiao).

Though he's silly and light-hearted, he's quick to recognize when things are serious and need handling.

So as soon as he sees that you're not doing so great or if he notices the comments on your posts are going in a bad direction, he speed dials Xiao and the two of your boyfriends are right at the door in under 15.

Not only are they fast about it, but they have all your favorite snacks, a movie or two, some popcorn, and a ton of love and affection because they'll be damned if their love is going to be affected by some asshole's comments about their love life! What do they know anyway??

Xiao would most certainly be super intense with those. He just can't help it--competition drives his blood and makes something snap in him. He's dead serious about doing well, regardless of the game. I actually have never watched said game shows, but--

Like...he's out for blood. No one is safe. Not even you or Kazuha if you're on opposing teams, though he'll be a bit more gentle. Maybe even with the hint of a smile while you have an expression of utter shock at the fact that he's just so fast-

Or if it's not a game show and instead you're doing some sort of idol group activity with a few others to get to know each other?

Someone suggests ping pong and, knowing how competitive Xiao gets, he's pitted up against Tartaglia and man. That's scary. There's no doubt that someone would clip the video and make it into an overly-dramatic retelling complete with music.

Hilarious.

As for Kazuha! He'd be a bit of a mish mosh! He enjoys poking fun at others, and he's so sly! Those poor hosts don't realize that he's goading them on, but sure enough--he is. Who knew that his charming smile and mild-mannered attitude could be so devastating?

But even then, he's mostly wholesome! There's a lot of little clips, mostly of your doing, of him in a 'kiss the chef' apron getting caught off guard while cooking something up. The videos aren't great because you're giggling while recording and he ends up placing the ladle down calmly before wrapping you up in his arms. Half the video ends up being the two of you laughing and joking while it's pointed at a weird angle towards the counter.

Sometimes it'll point just right and you'll get a half-blurred view of Xiao sitting at the kitchen island with his reading glasses perched on his nose and book forgotten. He tends to get up and join in for a few smooches before reminding Kazuha of the food that's still cooking.

Albedo!! He absolutely is the golden child. He's fantastic handling things under pressure in a cool, calm manner. Handsome, charismatic, incredibly smart--man's hit all the stops and just keeps going.

It's not until it comes out that the two of you are together that his cool façade (hardly one, though) falters and at the mere mention of you, he'll go soft. There's a tenderness in his eyes, a small smile on his lips, and his blush? Absolutely adorable. How can anyone object when he's obviously so in love with you?

There's also a few times where you two have gotten lost in the new places, more because you're both so busy taking in the sights to realize you've taken five wrong turns- But then you make it into a whole adventure, foregoing the map and deciding to wander around. Ahh regardless, Albedo's definitely a cuddler. He loves it, can't get enough of it. It's not often that he gets a good night's rest, but with you it seems like he's fully recharged and ready for the day! It's cute too because it doesn't matter--big spoon or little spoon, you on his chest or him resting on yours. Even a few times with you facing each other with your hands intertwined.

I also agree that Albedo would mess with the game show's hosts and contestants. Not only would he, but he'd be entirely smug about it (after all, we need to have that #smugbedo going on).

No doubt, there's been times where the cameras even focus/zoom in on him where he's sitting because he's got that smirk on his face.

W O O, so I'm back a bit from the art-grave to finally upload this piece I had completed a lil while ago... the pic in question being some slight redesign/touchups for two of my central side characters of TTM, Noira and Raider Crane~ 💙 Just to keep things a lil fresh and reflecting a bit better of their current character portrayals, so I hope you all enjoy! ^^

-Noira Crane (age 16) is Raider's younger sister, Princess Zia's best friend and currently enrolled at St. Ravilda's Mage Academy. A generally stoic and poised young lady with a rather sharp tongue than many would expect... often expressed through well-placed snark at those trying to interrupt her and Zia's "fun" (aka: sneaking around and setting up pranks around the school). When she's not busy hanging with Zia and keeping up their rather limited cheer squad these days, Noira could often be seen competing heavily for maintaining her place up above the top ranked students (of which a certain white-haired prince keeps trying to secure that spot for himself). Underneath her "well-to-do" exterior, however... lies a deep-down insecure girl who often feels pressured to bottle up her feelings, especially with the amount of pressure her parents (Lachlan & Vinia) put on both her and her brother Raider growing up. Combined with the strain put on from Raider's falling out with their parents a few years back... it's left Noira rather scared to delve too much into her own natural Water Mage abilities for fear she can't measure up (even with her folks trying their best to "dial back" for her sake, since she's their only remaining child living with them now). The few things in life that can truly bring a sense of peace and smiles to her face are Zia's company, the success of beating her rivals, and the never-ending bond she and Raider share between eachother... no matter the distance, no matter what.  (Fun Facts about Noira): -She's usually never seen walking around without her beloved dog companion, "Misty Belle" (courtesy to my pal @littlechaoticwitch for helping to come up with the name :3 ). The fluffy pup given to her as a gift from her folks a few years back, Misty is quite a sweet lil lady for most who are allowed to be near her. Always eager to follow her mistress around faithfully, snuggling and goofing around the room when left idle, and occasionally chewing at the ankles of those who try to mess with Noira (like, again, a certain white-paired prince who never ceases to push his luck lol).  -She was named after one of the earlier Crane family ancestors, "Noira the Victress". Said to have been quite a powerful blood pirate, the present-day Noira Crane has... always been a bit unsure of how to feel about her namesake, despite her father and some other distant relatives seeming rather proud of it. She's still a lil curious to try and research more about her ancestor though, given how popular she was as a subject for numerous campfire stories.  -Noira has been diagnosed as nearsighted from the time she was in elementary school, and thus is never seen without her favorite pair of horn-rimmed glasses (an aesthetic picked up from her favorite aunt, Freya).  -While her parents have officially stated for Noira to be the heir to their Crane Corp Industries business, Noira is still conflicted in herself of what she wants to do in life by the time she graduates. Whether it'd be to try out being a traveling Mage, or join more of Zia's royal court down in Asteria... its hard for her to decide atm.  -Being born a rather tiny and frail baby, Noira was always watched like a hawk by the family-hired medical professionals to keep her safe and protected. She's required to carry a couple EpiPens with her on the day-to-day with how many allergies she has, and Zia always tries to remember to keep a nice lil bag of snacks with her too in case her friend's blood sugar dips too low (as does Raider when he and Noira get to hang out on their own).  ============= -Raider Crane (age 21) is Noira's older brother, one of Kain's old school friends and currently making it big as an extreme stunt performer/traveling Electric mage. A bright, cheerful and fun-loving young man who lives to make others smile... whether it'd be for his own friend group or the crowds of audiences who clamor to come see his shows. Yet even with so much going well for him now... it wasn't always the easiest for him growing up before. Living under the roof of his folks who

always kept a tight grip

on him being "the best" (especially by his father), and even facing it worse with some bullying by Kaz's crew at school... it left Raider pretty timid and reclusive for the longest time. Only once others like Kain, Lyra, Briar and a few others taking the time to approach him did his true loveable goofball nature started to sprout for good... but at the same time, something just felt "missing" within Raider that didn't really sit right with him. Knowing how much of a rut he'd be bound to stay in if he kept up things how they were now... he decided by his last few years of Ravilda's to "change" himself for the better. From getting a new "bolder" punk look, working out and bulking over the summer, and taking some social sessions with fellow popular girl Dyani to gain some confidence in himself... Raider returned to the halls of the academy with a brighter, more-outgoing outlook on life now. He started gaining popularity left and right, taught Kaz's crew a thing or two when they tried one last chance to mess with him, and by graduation he was already on his way to make it big after getting signed on by an aspiring tv crew. All was going fine for once... yet back at home, things escalated between his parents (who still didn't seem understanding of Raider's personal dreams over their family business) to where Raider just... couldn't take it anymore. Many words were exchanged that night that prompted the young man to up and leave the family home for good... and never turning back except to now and then check up on his baby sister Noira. As the few years passed up until now, things are still going good for Raider in terms of his work and bond with Noira... though things remain relatively strained and awkward in regards to him and his parents. Whether things will ever truly improve or not with them is unclear as of now... but for the time being, Raider is at least content with himself on being able to finally shape his life the way it should be; fun, free, and fulfilling in its own way~.  (Fun Facts about Raider): -Back at his own personal trailer, Raider has a trio of cats he adopted awhile back named "Sprocket", "Buzz", and "Zipps". Having always been a strong cat person since he was a boy (but never getting the chance to own one growing up, given his mom's allergy to them), it was a big dream of Raider's to get his own feline companion by the time he moved out of the house. He went to the shelter to find three kitten siblings who were tossed aside and overlooked among some other animals... and being the big sweetie as he was, Raider was all too eager to scoop them up to adopt them all together. They're quite a funny bunch who tend to get into some trouble if left unsupervised, but are very much loyal to Raider either way with how often they'll form some "snuggle piles" with him once he's off-of-work.  -Raider gained his name from his paternal great-grandfather, Raider "The Swiftest" Crane. Originally was going to be named "Odin" (after Lachlan's own father, as was the old man's request many years ago)... but due to a falling out between the two not long before his son's birth, Lachlan decided against that and gave his boy "an even prouder name" to look up to instead. As for the present-day Raider himself, he's always been curious to know more about his great-grandfather given some accounts about him being a "commander of the skies" (via-riding dragons).  -From birth, Raider has carried an eye condition known as "Anisocoria"... in which one of his pupils is permanently smaller than the other eye and thus leaving him with some partially-blurred vision. For certain shows of his that take place in some heavy-weather conditions, Raider is required to wear some specialized goggles to help him see through his performance.  -His current neon/cyan blue hair isn't his natural haircolor, as Raider was actually born with darker/blackish-blue hair instead. Used to grow it out pretty shaggy and long up until his teens (in where he often hid his face behind his locks at times when he was down on himself)... but by the time his last

few highschool years rolled around, he cut most of it off and styled it to the look its at now as a nice change of pace. Got quite a few compliments on it's initial debut, so Raider has long since kept it around as his own lil "brand".  -As most of his friends have all long since went their separate ways after Ravilda's, Raider is the main one who likes to keep arranging for them to meet up on the few downtimes they're able to take off from their schedules. Often likes to greet any of his buddies with the biggest, crushing hugs imaginable (being lowkey touch-starved as he is)... and while not always the most logical thinker in terms of planning, he's the main heart to keep the group afloat in times they start bickering or feeling lost with one another.

Paris, part deux..

Later in the afternoon of the 9th, I then found out my hotel had a pc I could use to book/print tickets etc.. love it. Had to do some detective work though, as even though I had changed the keyboard to english... I couldn't find the @ key.. and letters were mixed up - eg z was a w, (it was a physical french keyboard...lol!!!) I found it after alot of trial and error. Printed my night cruise vouchers got ready and was off!

To the "couples" on said cruise looking at me then whispering and smirking etc, I would like to say a few things (I'm aware they'll never read it but hey it makes me feel better!) Don't be so judgemental. Did you think because I was by myself that I was single because of what? - you didn't ask thats for sure, so how would you know ??? You don't know my story. I could have been there by myself for a variety of reasons. To be so judgemental was disappointing after all the positive experiences I have had so far. Couples so far up themselves that they feel superior to the rest of society and feel that they can judge someone purely by appearance, ohhh and that they have more right than you...yes I'm talking to the smug couple who took my table when I went up to take some pics -another pitfall of solo travel - trying to keep your table/seat/ egg (will explain the egg later!). Wow. Thats the first time I've experienced that, or is it just the first time I've noticed it??? Some couples suck, I'm not saying all because I've met some fabulous couples whilst travelling , but those ones are fabulous because they have taken the time to ask me questions and share...not make snap judgements. It may have been circumstance...yes it was a night cruise in Paris,  but there were families on it as well so nah you guys (at least 3 couples..) dont get a pass. You are rude. I'm made of stronger stuff now so it aint gonna annoy/upset me for more than the few minutes that it took to remember where I was and why I was there! Pictures say a thousand words!

Anyhoo, rainy Saturday, or as I like to call it, Louvre day..I gave it a red hot go! Got lost multiple times... so saw more than I thought as a result! Yes, I made a beeline for the Mona Lisa, got my selfie with her, and no one died in the process! Winning! She was actually bigger than I expected, whereas the Venus di Milo was smaller than I thought it would be. I somehow smashed through quite a few levels and exhibitions as I wandered.. (may or may not have gotten lost a few times!) La libertie by Delacroix, my last mission, was not on show due to refurbishment which was unfortunate, but hey, in looking for it I managed to cover even more displays in the museum.

Sunday was even more rainy,  so I explored my local area more. Found a laundromat to get some washing done. As it was Armistice day, a day for some solemn reflection on war and its impacts. It was a big day in Paris at the Arc de Triumphe, so kind of glad that I had  a quiet day. These days are needed when travelling.

Monday was wander through Marais day. What a cool hipster bohemian type area. It was interesting to see some of the young Parisians that my friend on the train (from so long ago!!) Had told me about. He'd said there are some that have affected what they believe a true parisian should wear.. berets, stripes scarf etc (think of the old classic French stereotype). As he had said, the best way to tell  a true Parisian, is they are definitely not wearing a beret! It's interesting to see the turnabout in the younger members of society here.  Maybe it's a need for identity, or perhaps we are back on the old is new again roundabout?

Tuesday, my last full day in Paris. Off earlyish (nothing really opens until 10am here!) To jump on the RER to head out to the happiest place on earth, Paris Disneyland Park. Magical! It had transitioned to Christmas over the weekend, so this Christmas lover was beside herself with excitement! Christmas carols  decorations and Disney magic..oh my!!

I took an opportunity to talk to someone in front of me in the line for the teacup ride - yes I went on it, its been a dream for years to go on the iconic teacup! Anyway it turned out my now new friend, Kristi,  from Boston in the USA, was sans husband on this trip so we ended up hanging for the day! And bonus for me  she was a massive Disney fan who had been to all the parks in US multiple times, so knew what stuff was to explain it to the "newbie"😂. Anyway as she is currently living just outside Amsterdam and is waiting to start her new job  soon, I now have someone to hang in Amsterdam with when I'm back there at the end of Nov! Life is amazing sometimes...

Off to meet up with Jen and her daughter Bella so we can head to Ruka in Finland (via Helsinki) to celebrate Bella's 21st, exciting times ahead!!!

i totally get it!! it's not really the SS fans that made me lose interest in the couple but i have fallen out of love with them. they'll always be my otp, but as the years have gone by since the manga's ending, i just... i've been so like unsatisfied i guess? and it made me kind of start shipping narusaku, which is weird bc i've always hated that pairing.

I understand completely!! I used to be indifferent towards SasuSaku, since I didn’t use to like Sakura that much when I was younger, but then towards the end, I started to like her/it a lot not as much as NH and other ships but still. But recently, almost everything I see having to do with Sakura and her new family just irritates me. I love seeing cute pics of the SasuSaku family together and cute pictures of them individually. It’s just when the BAD fans go on rants about every little thing that involves, or better yet, doesn’t involve Sakura or her family I can’t help but roll my eyes every time. And then there’s also the fact that no matter what new material is brought up, they always find a way to bash Hinata, despite her doing nothing wrong, or not even being involved in the new material at all. Call me a Hinatard or whatever, but it’s just so damn annoying to go looking for some SS love, only to find hate post about Hinata or any other character that isn’t Sakura. I feel like I’m rambling now and making no sense, so I am going to cut this short now by saying, I love Sakura, Sasuke, and Sarada and their little family, but I just wish their BAD fans would take a chill pill every now and then and just be happy and kind towards the series that gave them their OTP and fave characters.
