she looked a fright, as if some dread embodied banshee pacing the halls of st. mungo's in wait of word of val's wellbeing. previously pristine white chiffon is now stained a deep, vivid crimson but narcissa can't bear to think of it as being valeria's blood for fear of breaking down entirely. this simply didn't happen to people like them... it shouldn't have happened to them and yet, here they all somberly stood. the night had gone terribly wrong and cissa can't help but wonder if it had begun the very moment she interrupted valeria's conversation with lucius. had she not been so damn prideful as to assume her friend was making a fool of her in front of the man her heart was set on, would the events that followed have unfolded any differently? if that were the case, the blonde highly doubts they would have had to suffer through his cousin's great tirade. one may have hoped naively that as their close friend lay dying in the streets that they might be spared such a flagrant embarrassment. she cringes at the thought, he had to know now. to hell with subtlety, for there was no conceivable way that he could remain oblivious to her advances after outbursts from the both in such swift succession. beginning to curse the stars above for the damning situation that awaited her, narcissa pushes through the hospital's doors in search of fresh air and a moment's respite to think things over in but finds something, or rather, someone standing in its place. lucius has his back to the wall, a cigarette between his teeth, looking just as troubled as she did — likely the result of andressa's own injuries. her breath immediately hitches in her throat, quite unsure if she's as prepared for the interaction laid out before her as she wishes she were but as any daughter of noble and most ancient house black might, cissa flashes a brave face, wandering over to him with wavering confidence and a coy smile. ❛ could you spare one of those for a dear friend? ❜ she asks ingenuously.

EVANGELINE SELWYN, LUCIUS MALFOY, & GORKEM POLAT
In an attempt to be ahead of the rest of the wizarding community, we did our own investigation into the werewolf attack at the Spring Equinox. And our hunt for the creature resulted in the discovery of a possible name to match the fur.
According to our information, it is believed this werewolf goes by the name of Corin Hale. And, if all is to be believed, she is the missing daughter of imprisoned Silas Crump, meaning with her new found freedom she may just be searching for him. We aren't going to allow that to happen.
While this was not our original plan for chaos, we will make it our plan. The Ministry is in disarray over a loose werewolf, the community is in a panic for their safety, what better time to use this to our advantage.
Severus and Rabastan have already been looking into every lead so far. But the further spread we are, the better chance we have of finding this girl before she can be shipped off to Azkaban to be reunited with daddy dearest.
Evangeline [@xselwyn], you're the eyes and ears at the Ministry. Every memo that is written, every owl sent, every conversation heard regarding the 'mysertious werewolf' will be passed off to myself or Rabastan. If there is any mention of Corin Hale, we are alerted. If I found out there is someone who got to her before us, there will be hell to pay.
Gorkem [@gorkempolat], the nooks and crannies of the Alleys are all you. While we have searched the crime scene repeatedly, you are to look into alternatives. Knockturn Alley is our haunt, no doubt the Aurors overlooked a thing or two in their investigation. Find any clues or trails that were carelessly left behind. Do not disappoint.
Lucius [@thepeacock-prince], won't it impress your darling beloved when you tell her you had a hand in capturing the beast that attacked her? Put your usual charsmatic personality to use and chat up Harrison Bagnold and his friends. The silence his mother has on this matter no doubt means she has a plan in mind, I want to know what it is and how we'll use it for our benefit.
No matter what methods you chose to take, it is imperative that we find this girl before the Ministry or any other forces do. To disappoint me, means to disappoint the Dark Lord and none of us want that now do we?

"Lucius! Love the hair – any comments on last night's attack?" Gilderoy asked with one breath.

who: Cordelia & open to patients or visitors
Cordelia loved when work was loud and chaotic, when it was busy and there was something to do; she liked it less when things were quiet. In the calm after the storm that had been last night, Cordelia was shaken by just how many beds in the Dai Llewellyn ward were full, and just how many of those beds held familiar faces. In fact, all of the victims from last night were familiar faces to Cordelia, and not just because she was a social butterfly. Valeria Bulstrode, Rodolphus Lestrange, Andressa Parkinson, and dear Rosaline; all four of them were very public members of high society. Call it what it was, pureblood high society. Cordelia didn’t know what to make of it and it worried her, both the tiny bit of the picture that she had and the fact that there was so much she couldn’t see.
Unwilling to go home, Cordelia had taken to pacing the hall , careful to stay out of the way of those of her coworkers who had something productive to do. Everytime Cordelia offered to help, she was told that she’d done enough and had earned some rest, but she disagreed. Cordelia never truly felt like she’d done enough, even when she’d done everything she could, and today was no different. If anything, today was worse, because it was the morning after a full moon and because Rosaline was in the hospital. Again. So Cordelia paced, not wanting to stray too far in case her sister needed her, and occasionally poking her head into the rooms.
This time, when Cordelia cracked one of the doors, she saw something other than patients sleeping peacefully in their beds. Cordelia straightened her bright green robes, which were hideous, a fact that she hated, but unavoidable, a fact that she also hated. Pushing the door fully open, Cordelia did her best to fix a polite smile on her face, although it was a little tight. “Hello. Can I help you with something?”
