jaz is a good reminder to future faithfuls that you can be excellent at finding traitors but the most important thing to do to win is to build trust

Why was last nights ep pretty much just:
Paul: I'm an evil genius and I'm gonna win because I have all the control and can get the traitors to do what I want
Harry: *takes the control*
Paul: *doesn't even notice*

Can we not film and televise people's panic attacks? Dear god. I know it's reality tv but just let them go somewhere quiet.

And once again obssesed with The Traitors. No other reality tv show will ever captivate me as much. I've watched pretty much every iteration out there except Canada...but I'm gonna save it for after S2 of UK and US are done. I cannot recommend it enough. It's so different from most reality tv.

tagged by my love @eusuntgratie
9 people i’d like to get to know better
last song — favorite crime- Olivia
favorite color — right now, that blue suit tzp wore to the oscars
currently watching — abbott, not dead yet, just finished mary & george, soon to be 911, greys and station 19. THE TRAITORS (just started uk s2 and i'm fhdjkshfjkd) resident alien. Bob's burgers, the great north. I could go on forever, so i won't.
spicy/savory/sweet — i just love food and combination. give me spice/sweet or sweet/savory
relationship status — single as a god damn pringle babe.
current obsessions — hot male costars being coy and slutty and hilarious and flirty on main about each other. I'm stealing grace's answer for this because yeah it's perfect.
I'm not gonna tag 9 people because that seems like a lot but i will tag a few

No but those pictures George posted of him and Carmen at a track with Toto, Susie and their son (who is wearing his merch.. his cute) has me spiralling and having many thoughts which comes back to he’s definitely putting more effort (at least publicly) with the big bosses of the team - another example of being the INEOS boss at the Man H game. He’s been accused of being a PR robot a lot (not at all an insult imo) but not a bad idea he’s putting effort into relationships that can make or break his career. It’s clever.
Hmm, as an outsider looking in, I would say there's pros and cons to going all in on work relationships. As you say, it can be great for career prospects and networking, equally though I think it's something that, especially in F1 you need to keep on a knife edge because things can change in the blink of an eye, and if all your allegiances are tied in one direction you could potentially find yourself outmanouvred if things pivot. I know Merc has a sliiiightly different structure because there's 3 shareholders and one is the TP, but equally as I've said before, noone in the industry will be swayed by friendships if their dividends are on the line!
I think a lot of it honestly comes from the fact that George is relatively new to Monaco still, doesn't have a whole heap of contacts there, and a lot of drivers seem to genuinely clear out over Winter and be constantly on the move. (In fact a lot of drivers who live in Monaco for the tax breaks seem to spend less and less time there these days, but that's another story). Toto and family stay there cos he has school for his son.
I think it's always good to be cautious. I think being *too* BFF with your boss can be shaky ground at times, because the last thing you want is for a) them to see you as too agreeable to your detriment (as in 'Oh, George likes me and trusts me, he won't mind if I do this thing that's a bit shitty. He's a good sport') or b) you to get tunnel vision and feel so bonded to them that you fail to see the off ramp just before they take you hurtling off the edge of a cliff with them (see the end of The Traitors UK S2 for an example of this in action!)
They have been seen together ALOT over Winter, although social media amplifies that. I think I *personally* would be wanting some distance given how much I'm likely to see him for the next 11 months... but he's gotta do him I guess!!! (Not literally... I mean as in you do you... y'know what, forget it) As they say, sometimes the key to spending time together is spending time apart. I 100% appreciate Lewis' approach of "I'm going wherever you're not for the next two months"

I'm very intrigued by the murder in plain sight twist this season, though I'm a bit worried how much more obvious having someone drink from a goblet is compared to a kiss of death like in UK s1. If there's any kind of wordplay by Alan at breakfast that even suggests a murder in plain sight, if anyone took note of that rusty goblet then it's a dead giveaway.

traitors uk s2 has one of the best traitors ever (harry) and one of the best faithful ever (jaz) AND one of the best storylines ever (the diane & ross revenge plot) like really truly this is the pinnacle of reality television

Some rants about Alchemy of Souls S1 ending:
- I want to see Mudeok being cool but not that?????making her the one to kill jang uk is just too much damn it. (I understand why it needs to happen and all the foreshadowing that has been happening but it still hurts so much that they just end it like that)
- All the character development that the prince has gone through for the past ~15 episodes are gone through the drain just like that? He formed friendship with Jang Uk but he was still easily swayed just like that?! Jin Mu literally fooled him and tortured his mom for years but he let him go instead of getting all the guards to catch Jin Mu the first time he saw him in that secret chamber? Like...... he is smart enough to not trust Jin Mu ffs
- What happened to bu yeon?!?! if she is that powerful why can’t she stop naksu from running wild? And doesn’t she want to go back to her own family?? Why isn’t she doing anything hhh
- I still cant believe jin mu gained the kingdom’s trust again, like how stupid can they be?
- I still hate jang gang for starting all of this and just die without clearing things up
- Poor choyeon. The girl has gone through so much, even the only figure who shows her love turns out to be a traitor and then killed off just like that. I was hoping for a scene where her mother apologizes to her or something but instead we get this?
- I still haven’t seen Park Jin being a powerful character at all? Like... I can feel that they’re trying to portray him as this cool powerful and wise dude but he... isn’t really doing anything important until the last episode....
- Why did they make a fuss with the whole “four seasons of daeho” if they were not going to show us any scene/arc where four of them work together and being powerful??? Like literally I feel like this is my first time seeing choyeon and danggu fight? More four seasons showing off their skills please!
I think what really pisses me off about the ending is that I feel like they do not appreciate the people who are currently watching the first season at all. I have watched a lot of TV series that use seasons to tell their stories, and just like AoS, they too would also always leave something unanswered in the previous seasons so that people would anticipate the next season. However, there is usually some kind of conclusion to the previous season, even if they leave something unanswered and hanging, they would usually tie up the season somewhat neatly. But this? this feels like the whole 20 episodes was just a bait for the next season. Ugh it just leaves bad taste in my mouth.
Overall, I feel like I have wasted so much time watching 20 episodes just to be left feeling angry about everything. So many stupid decisions made by our supposedly powerful characters, it’s hard to defend them at this point.  I really hope they will give us a good S2 with less plot holes.
And I still hope we have Jung So Min in S2, not as mudeok but as buyeon. I still hope a closure for buyeon.
