You had never imagined your best friend, Yoongi, to be the jealous type.
He always appeared laid back and unbothered. However, the moment he found out you had slept with someone besides him, his demeanor changed.
Not that it should have mattered. You two were simply each other’s temporary fixes. No strings attached.
At least that’s how all friends with benefits start.
Now, you’re not sure how to describe your relationship.
Yoongi invited himself to your home after dinner with friends. Since you had nothing scheduled, you granted his wish. You excused yourself to take a shower, but you didn’t expect him to follow you.
Soon, his hands were all over your body, and the sound of the water running became background noise.
It’s not long until he coaxes two orgasms from you.
“I-I can’t,” you pant, legs quivering as you struggle to keep yourself upright.
Yoongi smirks as he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck. He gives you a few kisses before he nips at your skin.
“Oh, come on, baby. One more,” he coos.
You squeeze your eyes shut, moans echoing off the bathroom walls as he thrusts the dildo into your sensitive pussy. All you can do is press against the glass door more.
Yoongi glides the toy in and out at various speeds, enjoying the way your walls squeeze around it. Suddenly, he pushes the dildo roughly inside. A loud gasp falls from your lips at the action. He continues the motion for a few before increasing his speed.
“S-shit Yoongi,” you whine.
“Wanna feel you more,” he says.
Yoongi removes the toy and replaces the object with his fingers before you can protest. His movements are fast, threatening the tightness in your tummy to snap.
“Did that guy make you feel this good?” he asks calmly, fingers slowing as they spread and stretch your walls heavenly.
“N-no,” you stammer. You wiggle your body against his hand in hopes he’ll go faster again.
“I bet you regret it, huh? Wasted your time with someone who didn’t know how to pleasure you correctly,” he scoffs.
“’m sorry,” you whine.
“Are you?” he questions. His pace begins to pick up, dragging you back to the edge.
“Yes!” you cry. “I only need you to fuck me.”
Yoongi chuckles. “And you better remember that.”
He angles your face to capture your lips in a heated kiss while he continues his fast pace. Your walls clench around his fingers, and Yoongi moans into your mouth at the feeling.
Hastily, you pull away from the kiss to cry his name as you come.
“That’s it,” Yoongi praises, fingers still sliding inside your pussy. He gradually comes to a stop.
His hands rest on your waist to keep you standing. You’re thankful for the gesture since you would’ve collapsed otherwise. You’re breathing harshly and feel exhausted.
Yoongi places a soothing kiss on your head, squeezing your body comfortingly.
“Let’s get you cleaned up,” he says softly and then begins to bathe you.
After a few minutes, you smile and swat at his hands. “I can do it myself. now”
“Can you?” he teases.
“Yes,” you huff playfully, grabbing some soap and continuing where he left off.
Yoongi watches you for a moment before cleaning himself.
Before you know it, you’re both dry and snuggling in your bed. Your head rests on his chest as he lazily moves his fingertips up and down your bare back. You feel so safe in his arms that you shuffle closer.
“I don’t want you hooking up with anyone,” Yoongi confesses in the dimly lit room.
You peer up at him, seeing his long locks frame his handsome face. It stirs something inside your chest—something familiar that you’ve been suppressing.
“What would that mean for us?” you wonder.
He smiles. “It means I don’t want to share you. I want you to only be mine. What do you say?”
“I would like that.”
“Good,” he murmurs and leans down, kissing your lips.
The kiss lasts longer than you anticipate. It’s slow at first but steadily grows more passionate. Your hands glide against his skin during the kiss. They trail downward until they reach his hardened cock.
Yoongi hisses at the feeling of your hands on him.
Pulling away, you whisper, “Let me pay you back for earlier.”
Yoongi doesn’t protest as you move yourself lower, a small smile on his swollen lips.

Immortal Tutor Technomancer (Technomancer Alternate Class Feature)
Tumblr media
(art by BootsDotEXE on DeviantArt)
Science-fantasy spellcasting may change a lot from the ancient days. Unified theories of magical sources, more robust understanding of the mystic arts, but even in such halcyon future days, there are some things that do not change, and one of those things is that sometimes mages will seek out otherworldly tutors to learn magic.
One part Ars Goetia and/or Lesser Key of Solomon “summon this specific demon or angel to learn about a topic” and another part homage to the witch patrons of Pathfinder, some technomancers seek out cosmic beings to help learn the arts of fusing magic and technology. After all, just as mortals have developed, so too do the cosmos.
However, while it is possible to entreat with fiends for such tutelage, remember that this path is open to all alignments, though the exact nature of the being you call upon will influence what benefits you gain.
I can’t help but imagine technomancers with immortal tutors contacting their patrons for more learning through various hybrid tech methods. Some may set up a rune-etched holoprojector to “summon” their patron. Or perhaps they literally have their patron on speed dial with an eldritch communicator.
While the method varies, their powers are undeniable, as we’ll soon see.
Rather than having a spell cache that lets them cast any one spell they know for free once a day, these mystics can instead cast a specific variable-level spell based on the nature of their tutor once per day, even if it’s not on in their repertoire otherwise. Aeons grant levitation and flight, celestials, elementals, and fiends grant appropriate summons, inevitables enhance projectiles into deadly splitting adamantine-like shots, and proteans grant self-polymorphing.
As they grow in mastery, each tutor provides their first, second, third lessons. The first comes into effect after the caster uses a spell, the second with an expenditure of resolve, and the third grants an additional benefit when the first lesson is triggered.
For aeons, this includes bolstering attacks when you switch damage types regularly, being able to learn a new language for a brief while, and finally gaining a bit of an aeon’s formlessness to avoid critical blows.
Celestials, meanwhile grant a brief defensive ward that only evil can pierce, a sudden burst of insight with a skill, and finally a ward that bolsters the defenses of nearby allies.
Elementals start by granting bolstered movement based on the nature of the elemental patron, flight for air, burrowing for earth, faster land speed for fire, and swimming for water. Next they learn to intensify the damage of their elemental spells, gaining greater than average results. Finally, they can gain resistance to the element in question, electricity or fire for air and fire, and physical resistance for earth and water.
Fiends provide protection only bypassed by good, as well as a magical trick to grow spikes on one’s armor, and finally fiery protection as well as a flash of fiendish malice that leaves foes shaken.
Inevitables teach the caster how to bolster their vitality after casting a spell, take on a mechanical mien to resist harmful effects, and rapidly restore stamina for a short time.
And finally protean tutors teach their casters how to infuse their attacks with chaos, changing the damage type randomly but having slightly better average damage. For their second lesson, They gain some of the ever-changing anatomy of proteans for a short while to reduce the effect of critical blows. Finally, their form becomes fluid after casting, letting them slip through obstacles and avoid attacks and grappling.
As you can see, each tutor type offers different benefits, from the protections offered by celestials to the mobility and damage of elemental tutors. With that in mind, there are a lot of ways to build these technomancers no matter what route you go with. Just know that you have to cast spells or spend resolve to use them, and remember to manage those resources effectively.
Much like the witch patrons of Pathfinder’s yesteryear, coming up with the exact nature of your character’s tutor, as well as the relationship they have with the mage, can be very interesting indeed. Is your tutor a helpful source of advice? Do they require some sort of service for their tutelage? Is their instruction purely transactional?
Additionally, this character option could be a good launching point for homebrew for other outsider types or more specific ones, such as psychopomps or say, demons instead of fiends.
A computer whiz in addition to being a technomancer, Koski has been eager to innovate encryption for the past year. However, the young vlaka has grown increasingly frustrated, as the advice given by his protean tutor, (chosen for their understanding of chaos) results in encrypted files that can no longer be unlocked.
Not all immortal tutors are willing, as is the case with the “diabolus ex machina” method used by technomancers that wish for the insights of devils without the contracts. However, the method has risks, such as when a young mage plugged his binding device into Tageo Station’s main computer and the fiend within utilized a loophole to possess the organic computing components (derived from cerebric fungus buds), resulting in a takeover of the whole station.
Having finished their millenia-long duty guarding the cosmic city of order, an inevitable known as “Pilgrim-Follows the Unending Road” has chosen an active retirement of serving as the tutor for aspiring technomancers. However, technology has evolved considerably in that time, and while they do sometimes offer archaic advice, Pilgrim is trying their best, and is an insightful instructor regardless.

THE TOP 7 BENEFITS OF SPRINTING
ARE SPRINTS GOOD FOR YOU?
When I first got into fitness I used to think the longer the distance attempted the fitter I was. It had to be a 6 mile/10km run at a minimum to qualify! However, fitness is far more than the distance you can run and being functionally fit is considerably more beneficial.
I certainly prefer sprinting as a pastime now and my main endurance cardio is a purposeful brisk walk.
Humanity has been sprinting since we evolved to stand upright. It's made possible by an unusual quirk of our anatomy—a feature that our tree-dwelling closest living relatives don't have.
At some point during our evolutionary history (perhaps as we moved out onto the savannas of Africa), it became necessary for us to cover the vast distances between sources of food quickly, and we went from walking to running to sprinting.
Running at maximal pace (sprinting) confers a variety of physiological and health-related benefits. Many of us move from our beds to our cars to our desks, without ever needing to propel ourselves forward quickly.
Tumblr media
#1 IMPROVES YOUR BODY COMPOSITION
Your body composition is your ratio of fat-to-muscle. Most westerners have weak body composition, with high levels of fat and low muscle mass. As a society, we eat too many energy-dense, nutrient-poor foods that promote the deposition of fat in our bodies. Many of us certainly don't do enough regular movement to build and maintain lean body mass.
Sprinting, however, not only helps to burn fat but also encourages muscles to grow. The reasons for this are not as straightforward as you might think.
Researchers are aware that it's not just the total calorie burn that matters for body composition, but the type of diet and exercise people do.
Research in Exercise and Sports Science Review suggests that sprinting shocks the body into becoming fitter at the cellular level. The researchers found that gene expression matters most for improving body composition.
Sprinting sends a signal to cells all over the body to toughen up and adapt to the new physical activity requirements, improving oxidative capacity and metabolic control during subsequent exercise, leaving you leaner.
Do you think endurance athletes have less body fat as a percentage of overall mass than sprinters? Interestingly there is research comparing the body composition of sprint and endurance athletes demonstrated that sprinters tend to have lower body fat percentages even though endurance athletes may look leaner.
#2 STAVES OFF AGEING
Since it helps build muscles, sprinting can help you stave off the muscle-wasting effects of ageing. Humans have several different types of muscles in their bodies, including so-called "fast-" and "slow-twitch" fibres. Fast-twitch muscle (type IIa and type IIb fibres that help you move powerfully) fatigue far more quickly than slow-twitch muscle (type I fibres used for posture and endurance).
Sprinting, as you might expect, trains fast-twitch fibres while movement patterns like standing, walking, and jogging activates slower-acting muscle cells.
Sprinting is an excellent exercise for those who want to build speed and power. The more you train the fast-twitch muscle fibres in your legs, the faster you'll be able to run and the higher you'll jump.
The skeleton also gets stronger too. Sprinting is classified as a weight-bearing exercise, and thus the bones can get stronger from sprinting. Getting your sprints in can help ward off osteoporosis and protect your balance and coordination.
You may feel you are too old to sprint and that it is an activity just for the young? Well, if in any doubt be inspired by Irene Obera still sprinting and breaking records well into her 80s.
It isn’t just about the body though, sprinting helps with ‘quickness’ and reaction time: evidence suggests improvements in reaction time reduces the risks of cognitive decline and conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia as we age.
#3 IMPROVES CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH
HIIT or "high-intensity interval training" is something of a buzzword in the fitness industry right now. Practically every blog or fitness site recommends that people engage in this type of workout, and for a good reason—it's time-efficient and highly effective. HIIT is something I utilise as part of the programme in the Animal Moves book too!
Sprinting is the quintessential HIIT training tool. It's high-intensity, and you can do it in intervals, sprinting for a short period then resting between sprints.
Research in the Journal of Sports Science Medicine suggests that HIIT training has many advantages for cardiovascular fitness over traditional "steady state" training (such as jogging for five miles). Researchers found that, compared to controls, students who engaged in HIIT training saw significant improvements in their VO2 max (a measure of oxygen use) and peak power output, two important markers for cardiovascular fitness.
Unfortunately, HIIT training was much less enjoyable for the majority of people enrolled in the study than the less extreme exercise. It is much harder work for sure, but turning this activity into a game such as a game of chase or a version of tag would undoubtedly enhance the enjoyment factor.
Sprinting even has it's own category of HIIT called SIT (sprint interval training) which has similar health and performance benefits including attaining a lower resting heart rate.
It's no secret that sprinting like other forms of exercise is great for your heart. Regular sprints lower your risk of heart disease, improve your blood cholesterol levels, and help control and prevent high blood pressure.
Tumblr media
#4 REDUCES STRESS
Like other forms of exercise, sprint training can combat stress. It releases feel-good endorphins into the brain, helping sprinters cope with the rigours of training and come out on the other side feeling good, ready to do it all over again.
Sprinting calms your body and your brain. In the short term the physical stress of the sprint helps you to focus on the task at hand. After your body works hard through sprinting, the levels of stress hormones, like adrenaline and cortisol, drop. Stress and anxiety fade away.
Endorphins tend to be highest at the end of an exercise session, giving the sprinter a sensation of confidence and relief. The sprinter’s high!
Tumblr media
#5 IMPROVES YOUR METABOLISM, EVEN AFTER THE SPRINT IS OVER
Sprinting burns more calories per unit of time than jogging, but the average person can only sustain a sprint for 30 seconds at most. After that, the body depletes its anaerobic stores and must rely on aerobic sources of energy, which can't sustain the same high levels of effort.
In the past, the thinking was that sprinting couldn't burn as many calories as long-duration physical activity. But, researchers have found that sprinting increases the rate of energy burn long after a person finishes exercising. Sprinting isn't just about the calories your body burns during exercise, but also those that it uses to recover afterwards. One measure for this phenomenon is EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) otherwise known as the after-burn effect or oxygen debt.
Heavy resistance training and HIIT workouts appear to be superior to steady-state running or lower-intensity training in creating EPOC.
From an evolutionary point of view, it wasn't an advantage to dedicate vast energy resources to building muscle: it was much better to keep muscles as small as possible to lower energy requirements. The process of modifying muscle fibres into fast-twitch is energy-intensive, meaning that the body resists building them if it thinks it can get away with it. Sprinting overcomes this natural reluctance, however, and forces the body to make these energy-consuming adaptations after you finish exercising, dramatically increasing your overall burn.
Tumblr media
#6 SPRINTS IMPROVE GLUCOSE CONTROL
Many westerners have poor glucose control (and don't know it). Our cells have become less sensitive to insulin, which acts like a key that unlocks the cell's door, allowing glucose to enter. Reduced insulin sensitivity or, more seriously, the development of insulin resistance (which can develop into type 2 diabetes), means insulin can't shuttle sugar into cells, leading to a dangerous buildup of glucose in the blood.
Researchers published in BMC Endocrine Disorders found that sprinting could improve metabolic risk factors, such as high blood sugar levels, as well as improve cholesterol levels, reduces blood pressure, cuts abdominal fat, and improves sugar metabolism.
Researchers believe sprinting might improve glucose control through pathways similar to how it improves cardiovascular health. A burst of intense exercise such as sprinting, signals to cells that they need to get their act together and make it more likely you'll survive in a demanding environment.
Sprinting tells your cells that life is fierce, and you need them to do better!
#7 YOU CAN DO IT ANYWHERE
The great thing about sprinting is that it can be done anywhere. You don't need special equipment or training gear. You don't need a gym membership; you can sprint at home. Even with limited space, you can sprint on the spot or even seated in your chair using your arms.
It's even better when you get outside to exercise; you can sprint in your back garden or down the street. Head to your local park and sprint there too. You can watch a video of me sprinting outside here!
if you are in the gym and want to replicate the intensity of the sprint on a treadmill - try Treadmill Drivers - otherwise known as the Deadmill. Very playful and very powerful!
My personal favourite is sprinting when rushing for the bus! What about you?
To help you improve your sprint technique and for an example sprint programme check out this post.

Alright so: "Necro" kit breakdown!
(clarifying again that "Necro" is a placeholder name, I'm just gonna use it throughout the rest of the kit breakdown for convenience)
Tumblr media
Necro is, despite appearances, a Utility bot, but is perhaps expectedly the most focused on confirming kills out of the role. I do mean confirming kills, as Necro is not the greatest in a head-on fight, but they're good at getting in and out of fights safely to aid in providing damage alongside a teammate. And this focus taking out enemies is relevant to Necro especially, as their defining utility is an extremely versatile skill that requires some oil to be spilled in order to use.
Necro has a few stats setting them apart from most characters. They have 150 health, 50 less than the standard of 200. This is a health value shared only with Poppett, who's smaller and has much more mobility. To compensate, Necro has a 1.1x movement speed, making their basic movement 10% faster than other characters. This is still slower than Poppett's 1.25x speed, but it's still worth noting.
In terms of actual abilities, Necro's weapon is the Blade Launcher, a forearm-mounted weapon that fires serrated blades at high speeds. These blades are high-speed projectiles that do modest damage normally, but do benefit from landing headshots. The weapon has a unique 3-shot clip, where the primary fire shoots one blade at a time, but the secondary fire launches all loaded blades at once in a horizontal spread. ...Very original, I know. Unlike Genji, the 3 shots are the clip, and the reload animation is pretty fast, so with the alt fire it's more of a bottomless clip with a longer attack interval rather than truly reloading.
I haven't talked about melee attacks much, but Necro's is the Claw Stab. They change the projectile daggers for a set of solid retractable blades, then thrusts them forward for a melee strike. The stab has the unique ability to score a crit on a backstab, which unlike that other shifty bastard, is only enough to take a chunk out of an enemy instead of killing them outright.
Speaking of alluding to the french, Necro's accessory is that cloth on their back, the Specter Cloak. This unusual textile has the ability to bend light around the wearer when activated, though only for a limited time. Instead of a cooldown like most abilities, the cloak uses a resource meter, which recharges when not in use. While cloaked, you gain a variable invisibility effect. I say "variable", because the effectiveness of the light-bending visual is dependent on range. From a distance, Necro is completely invisible while cloaked. The closer you get however, the more the illusion breaks, and you can see the edges of Necro's silhouette. The effect is disrupted completely when Necro takes damage while cloaked, but only for a brief moment after taking damage. Fortunately, Necro also has a small damage resistance while cloaked.
Necro's final ability is their most unique, but first I'll explain where the idea came from.
I think it's pretty well known at this point that Spy is TF2's worst class. He's a super cool concept for a character, inspired by a glitch in the development of the original Team Fortress where players would appear to be on the wrong team. The idea of an assassin who can sneak behind enemy lines, either while invisible or under the guise of their team, and then strike for a lethal instakill, is in theory really cool! But at the very least in my opinion, Spy is just a mess in practice, and the main reason why is because he's just such a polarizing character. Either you instakill multiple enemies before they have the chance to react, or you get caught early and eat dirt. Backstabs are too strong, and disguises are too weak. Obviously you can't change one or the other, otherwise the whole identity of the class is thrown out of whack.
What does work about Spy? Well, I think he's at least interesting to consider in his official role of "Support". He's not a head-on fighter like Scout or the power classes, but instead is good enough at reliably picking off enemies that those head-on fighters struggle with, namely Heavies and Snipers. He can bypass Heavy's high health with backstabs, and he can bypass Sniper's control over sightlines by not being visible while he closes the distance. He also can deal with Engineer's buildings via sappers, though Soldier and Demo can do this just fine while also putting themselves at less risk. But the idea is there: he's a killer but not necessarily a fighter. I also think the Invis Watch is relatively well thought-out for an invisibility mechanic. Its usefulness is evident, but its limitations and counterplay make it engaging to use and play against without being frustrating for either side. It's what lets Spy function and get where he wants to be, which is his most definitive strength. It's why it's mostly unchanged for Necro, with the exception of the range-based effectiveness because I think that'd look cool.
But the idea of using the guise of an enemy to your advantage stuck with me, especially when considering another class shooter character I'm not particularly fond of the design of: Echo from Overwatch.
Considering this is accidentally an Overwatch blog I'll save most of this for its own post, but Echo's kit is one of the most dull in the game relative to the potential of the character it's on. I see the concept: ironically another assassin good at going from place to place very easily, but it feels so dull and dissonant compared Echo's design. Playing her feels like you're just spamming your 3 "please die now" buttons when optimal and hoping your aim is decent enough to get the kill, then using your admittedly pretty fun free flight to get out without a hitch, then go back and do it again when your cooldowns are back. It's not exactly a super obviously appealing playstyle compared to a lot of the cast, even just in the damage role, and I swear I've never in my life heard the phrase "Echo main".
This is all completely unrelated to her defining ability: her ultimate. That's a sentence I'm not a fan of on principle, but Duplication is pretty obviously what they based the entire concept of Echo around. It's pretty simple though: pick an enemy you can see, then turn into them. For 15 seconds, you basically just swap to their hero, with the exception that as of OW2 you have a health cap of 300 when turning into a tank. The only other difference is that you build the duplicated hero's ult significantly faster than they would, meaning that with decent execution you essentially just get to pick an ult on the fly based on what your enemies are. The other objective perk is that the duplicate acts like a second life Echo herself can hide inside of, and you're invincible while you transform, so in a pinch it's an emergency panic button.
Once again, cool concept, and the execution is honestly decent, but my issue is more one of... point. Duplication is a really weird ultimate to get value out of, especially since it raises the question of "why do I even want to do this when I can just pick the other character normally". The most relevant answer is the kind of blunt and lame "you can't" for the more optimal duplication targets. If you're already a DPS hero, swapping to another (likely worse, since Echo herself is almost always solid) DPS really isn't useful unless you have a specific play in mind. Instead, it's more ideal to pick a support for their higher utility without committing to the full burden of their long cooldowns (emergency free single rez is honestly a decent use of the ult) or a tank for their higher health, defensive abilities, and typically more reliable damage which you can use to build the ult. You can't just swap to do this in role queue modes, and with tanks the health nerf is warranted because otherwise you're limited to one tank per team, so doubling for even just a few seconds is potentially really strong. But like... that's such a lame answer, right?
I dunno, maybe I'm just picky, but Echo feels like the opposite of Spy despite both being assassin playstyles with freeform positioning and a mechanic where they can turn into an enemy. Spy is too exaggerated, too sharp, while Echo is too safe, too reliable, too smooth. With Spy you can see the idea but can realize it's flawed, while with Echo the idea isn't as clear and just isn't as exciting, especially with how flat her interactions are with the rest of the cast.
(also to clarify, this isn't a knock to them as characters, just how they function in their games. Spy is iconic for a reason and while it took a while for her to grow on me, Echo is a character I like a lot too.)
So all that said, what about Necro?
Well, I once again remind you that Necro is a Utility character, something I feel important to clarify in contrast to the two characters we just talked about. Spy does, in an abstract sense, fit a supporting role on his team, even if his main jobs are stabbing and sapping. Meanwhile, Echo is just another all-around reliable mobile fighter like multiple other characters in her game, and only has anything resembling team support via her ultimate, a super move that takes a while to charge and really doesn't feel like the cornerstone of her character as a result. Overwatch doesn't have a middle ground for character who aren't healers but don't directly contribute just via raw damage output, which is a detriment to several characters that I hope to remedy with the Utility role in War Bots.
So far Necro just sounds like Spy but with less comically unreliable damage output. Just "good" but not great damage, at its best when paired with a teammate or as an ambush. They can win an honest 1v1 duel with a bit of elbow grease, but they're not built for it.
Necro has a passive I didn't mention earlier: Vital Assessment. When looking at an enemy, they can see their health without needing to shoot them first. In addition, they can also see small icons below the health bar to indicate the enemy's current ammo, ability cooldowns, and resource meters such as another Necro's cloak charge. This is important for not only letting Necro pick their fights better, as well as relay potentially vital information to their team with voice chat, but also is important to know for their main ability: Possession Program.
Target the death location of a bot within close range, enemy or ally, and then begin reconstructing their body. This taboo process takes just about a second or two, and you can be killed during the downtime. One thing you don't construct is the bot's consciousness, because once finished, Necro vanishes and places their own consciousness into the body. From there, you control the possessed body, playing as it just like their usual player just did, with the exact same loadout they had. The body starts with full health and recharged abilities, but their ammo and other resources are carried over from what they had on death. After about 10 seconds, or if the body's health is depleted by enemy fire, Necro pops out of the body, and resumes play in the state they entered the body in, but with the possession ability now on its relatively long cooldown. Of course, if the body is destroyed by falling off the map, then Necro can't exactly come back from that one. One other random caveat: Necro can't possess another dead Necro. Otherwise it'd open the can of worms of Necro-ception and I don't even wanna think about how that'd work.
So like Duplication, this ability is kind of what you make of it, but there's a few key differences. It's not an ultimate (again, we don't do that here) but instead a regular ability you can use right out of spawn and again on cooldown, but it has increased counterplay to offset this, namely in the vulnerable casting time where you can't do much, similar to Mercy's current Resurrect. The perks are also similarly scaled by the lack of any ultimates, since there's not really anything "improved" about the possession over the original.
There's advantages to this ability over just picking that character yourself. One is that you still have, at bare minimum, an extra temporary health bar to work with, but this is less effective due to the slower activation time. Another is something I glossed over earlier: you can possess a dead ally as well. This essentially acts as a pseudo-rez, where you can bring back the capabilities of an ally even if you don't get a numbers advantage as a result. If your team's key main healer was picked off early, you can possess them to temporarily make up for that vital role. Same for if a tank holding the frontline dies, but this may be harder to pull off if they die in the center of a team fight. If you're fighting alongside a better head-on fighter, you can take their role temporarily, and then use Necro's own more situational damage output as a fallback. And in the more aggressive sense, you can instead ambush an isolated enemy, or flank one focusing on a more apparent enemy, and then press that advantage by taking their role
I do realize that none of this would be easy to pull off. Maybe the casting time is too harsh, and I'm not even totally confident the payoff is worth the effort, but man it'd be cool if it did.
It does put Necro in a unique balancing position though. They have to be "bad" enough to make transforming into someone else a worthwhile consideration due to the relatively minimal intrinsic benefits, but not so bad to where they're hopeless if you can't pull off their gimmick. This is why I want their combat skills to fit into that hypothetical less extreme ideal of Spy: great in the right scenario, but only just okay outside of that, but also with realistic potential to win even in a suboptimal encounter. I think the cloak is enough of an objectively really useful ability to make it so Necro can only be so bad. It's essentially their movement option, but instead of raw mobility, it lets them move more safely without fighting, at least with good usage. They can get into almost any silly position they want to make their unique ambush and possession plays, which I think is gonna be really important for them
On a related note: alt equipment! None for the blades though since those are a bit iffy in my notes right now. The three ideas are vaguely one that deals poison damage, one that restores cloak on hit, and one that lets you instakill when backstabbing an enemy below half health. Not sure about other upsides or downsides aside from those though.
The cloak alts are relatively simple:
First is the Phantom Phaser, a cloak that doesn't just bend light, but somehow makes Necro briefly immune to harm entirely. Only for a brief moment though, as the cloak drains very quickly upon use, giving you only a second or two of safety. In addition, the cloak can only be activated with a full charge. The phaseout also has the perk of cleansing any debuffs you may have on activation, and it has no delay, unlike the other options.
The other one is the Swift Shroud. While cloaked with this, you gain a whopping 50% speed boost, and even get to double jump while cloaked. However, this cloak has a much shorter max duration, and getting hit reduces it even further, instantly draining the meter a set amount based on the damage you take. Taking damage also literally hurts more, since this cloak lacks the damage resistance of the default.
The alternates to Possession Program are a bit more exciting.
The first of these is the Hijack Signal. This program is different in that it possesses non-player objects, such as turrets and other buildings, turning them over to your team's side for a few seconds. You're not playing as these though: you just possess them remotely. You can also use it on enemy-made pickups to make them usable by your team instead. To make up for the shorter and less flexible effect, this ability has a longer activation range, shorter cast time, and shorter cooldown. As an extra drawback though, taking any damage will cancel the ability and put it on a reduced cooldown. This ability is meant to be a slightly more situational counter to enemy buildings, but in exchange has less downtime and is generally more consistent to make use out of, plus fits the spirit (hah) of the normal ability.
The second meanwhile is instead a more dramatic version of the default: Volatile Rebirth. The reconstructing process is the same, though takes slightly longer to complete. In exchange, the body you control has some benefits. The body's basic movement speed is increased, as is its reload speed and ability recharge speed. In addition, it will heal by 33% of its max health upon a kill. The time limit is different though: instead of a fixed duration, the body rapidly decays, losing health over time. This can't be cheesed by healing abilities, as the healing the body takes is dramatically reduced from any source other than killing enemies. This is a more extreme version of possession, with higher risk but higher reward. This is like Necro's Big Earner, where you're more fragile but have greater potential to get a multikill with your momentum. It'd also have theoretically infinite duration, as long as you can outpace the body's decay with an endless stream of murder.
So yeah, that's Necro, or at least the guy we're calling Necro for now. A very short turnaround from concept to kit and initial art, but I think they could potentially be really cool, and I got the idea for how they'd look relatively easily. I don't have much to say about the design, I think it's solid and speaks for itself, but I do wanna say that digitigrade legs (aka dog-like legs with the extra joint like that) are haaaaaaard to make look right. Then again so are conventional humanoid legs so. What's new for me really.
Also Heart is coming next I SWEAR. Kind of.
...alright don't count on it but I'm really hoping I get to her next, I just really wanna get her right.

Color Grave Has Risen
Coming off of Prodigal, which I played last year, I had my expectations in check for Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils. I thought it would be a fun throwback to the Game Boy games that inspired it, but nothing much more than that. I don’t mean to throw shade at Prodigal at all, it's a good game and I enjoyed it. But when the source of inspiration is the handheld The Legend of Zelda games, it's hard to measure up. It's a nice game that I likely won't return to because I'll just play Oracle of Seasons instead. Knowing that Curse Crackers would be a send up to Game Boy era platformers the same way Prodigal is for Game Boy adventure games, I assumed I would mildly enjoy it all the same.
Nah, this game rules. The interesting thing about high profile Game Boy adventure games is that they are REALLY hard to make, so only a few exist. And the ones that do exist know what they're doing because they are likely Zelda games. It feels like Prodigal bit off more than it could chew in a lot of areas due to how small the dungeons and world was. It was compact to the point of being an indecipherable puzzle. I know I missed a ton of content in Prodigal just because I couldn’t figure out how to access it and wasn’t invested enough to put in the effort to overcome that. Curse Crackers is a platformer though. Being a sprawling adventure isn't expected of it. It's allowed to be compact and benefits greatly from it. Every level is stuffed with goodies and hidden rooms and because everything was contained in the level based structure. I was never confused or intimidated by the prospect of collecting everything in the game. Honestly, Curse Crackers is about as much of an adventure game as Prodigal is and I'd argue a better one. The world map makes the world feel bigger despite the areas not being interconnected. There are quality of life features that make it easier to manage side quest and collectibles, which I cannot understate how much I appreciate. The story is genuinely more interesting and the characters are more pronounced. You don't progressively gain permanent abilities, but you do get a bigger arsenal of consumables. It's a wildly different approach, but Curse Crackers still stands tall as a decent adventure game and stands head and shoulders above most of its inspirations in terms of being a side scrolling platformer.
Curse Crackers appears to be made in the same vein as the Super Mario, Megaman, and Castlevania Game Boy games. While Prodigal wouldn't compare well with Zelda games on the Game Boy and Game Boy Color, Curse Crackers would probably be one of the best platformers on the system. It surpasses its inspirations in most ways and becomes a wonderful game in its own rite. I think the way your character controls is perfect for the type of game this is. It has the tightness you'd expect from Megaman, but also allows for momentum like you'd expect from Mario. Curse Cracker’s run button is a switch that changes you from a jogging speed to a sprinting speed instantly. There is no period of acceleration here, it's a completely digital exchange. If you hold the run button you move horizontally twice as fast and it applies to all movement, not just running. You can press run in midair and immediately start traveling faster through the sky. It's instant gratification in a way I’m not used to. Mario and Sonic have conditioned me to think speed has to be earned, and I genuinely think that's a valid philosophy. But when you have such little screen real estate, earning speed is a major hassle. It’s ultimately why I don’t come back to Super Mario Land 2 that much. I’m not as comfortable blasting through it like I am with other Mario games. Curse Crackers sidesteps this brilliantly. Just having a button that makes you zip through the level whenever you want to, while encouraging speed running to get better at using that instant velocity is a fair alternative to standard momentum based games.
There's a delightful flow in Curse Crackers when you start trying to blitz through levels. The hurt boxes of enemies are generous so you don't have to be an Execution God to bounce off 7 enemies in a row. You can toggle run to be on constantly when you get comfortable with the level. The move set also works seamlessly in terms of getting you from point A to point B. In Curse Crackers, you play as an acrobat named Belle. She's got as much maneuverability as her profession suggest. Belle has a standard jump, a high jump, a slide jump and even a double jump if you can launch your projectile attack downwards to the floor. The movement honestly might feel closer to Donkey Kong 94 than Mario Land 2 with how many options you are given. The most fun I've had in the game is using all those movement abilities to blast through the level as fast as possible. Speed running isn't just encouraged by giving Belle the ability to move fast. There are shortcuts and strategies you can use to complete the level earlier. The level design in the game is low key the most impressive thing about it as it facilitates exploration and brevity, while also introducing new mechanics constantly.
I will definitely be returning to this game. It clicks with me in so many ways, but beyond that, I'm in love with the vibe. The desaturated Game Boy color pallet enhances its cozy atmosphere and every character design is a winner. I appreciate the increased amount of scenes where I can see the full character designs. The characters in Prodigal looked great too, but you really only got portrait art of them along with their overworld sprite, so it felt like it wasn’t getting as much out of those designs as it could have. I know what characters look like more in Curse Crackers. I know the world a bit better too. I'm a little bummed there's no clear incentive or reward for Side Quest, but I do just like doing them intrinsically because I'm charmed by the game so much. After playing this, Color Grave has now become a development studio that I will forever keep an eye on because I trust they will always cook up something good. This game leaves room for a sequel and I’ll be there day one if it ever comes to fruition. There's not much else I can do to express my enjoyment of this game other than to repeat how fantastic I think it is. And also draw gay fan art of it.

The Guardiana Magic School Run - Part 2
Tumblr media
We're back after an unexpectedly long pause, I played this part last sunday actually but didn't have time to post/finish the doodle til now. I've been typing the reactions live while playing though so it's not a problem.
That's all for big rambling preambles, Guardiana's magic parade exits the mountain hut and immediately gets into the action.
Tumblr media
The clear bonus this time is the Demibuster, a sword not only stronger than Max's current one, but which also deals extra damage to Dark Dwarves. Dark Dwarves will be around for the next three or so battles so it's a neat bonus, but losing it is not the end of the world, as these things sell in Alterone shops as well. Of course, I'd rather save money for Steel Rings.
Unfortunately, this clear bonus is also kinda hard. The beginning of the battle is neck deep in mountains and the great feats of Guardiana's magic users do not include flying magic, so everyone's movement will be sucking for the foreseeable future. I think Max and Gong have enough defense to go in front alone, but I did say my challenge here is to minimize deaths so I'm a bit afraid of risking. Meanwhile Tao and Lowe have less movement so I expect them to suck. I even transferred an herb from Lowe to Max as he might struggle to reach people to heal them.
Tumblr media
First enemies are a trio of goblins, I expect them to be ridiculously easy. They were doing like 3 damage on Gong last time and he and Max both gained defense on level up.
Tumblr media
See everything's fine.
Tumblr media
I'm gonna play a bit risky and keep advancing with Gong, letting Tao and Lowe deal with the goblin early on since they won't be crossing that area any time fast. The enemy AI tends to attack a character once they're in front of them so I don't expect this goblin to ignore Gong and go beat the squishy ones.
Tumblr media
Infuriating survivals happen.
Tumblr media
This guy thus gets a hit on Lowe but as you can see everything's fine. There are occasional benefits to being in the mountains I guess, the terrain bonus might be helping.
Tumblr media
The third goblin does rush Tao so I was being reckless but she's fine, it's all good.
Tumblr media
It does suck that now Max can't reach the guy next to Tao though. I'm not wasting Max's attack on a guy with 1 HP, so he's joining Gong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
See look at the numbers this guy's doing.
Tumblr media
Hilariously the speed boost means he's now faster than the goblins so he's gonna finish this guy anyway, I don't want the squishy ones to face too much for too long. They drop a Medical Herb which is nice of them. Also I did promise to highlight differences so, unlike the clunkiness of item management in the mega drive version, this one has an item box you can store items in. It cannot be accessed in battle of course, but it's great to keep key items in. I'm bringing this up because enemy drops also go to it if your character's inventory is full, which is very convenient.
Tumblr media
Turn 4. I'm clearly risking Gong a lot, but Tao and Lowe have finished the last goblin and Max should be reaching the front somewhat fast. Gong can also heal himself to buy time if things get dicey. I also don't think the dwarves advance as much as the goblins, so it should be fine for now.
Tumblr media
Turn 5. Nothing happened! Which is bad because I guess the goblins and dwarves will want to come all together now. I'm still sending Gong ahead but I'm increasingly scared.
Tumblr media
Turn 6. Turns out I found the perfect bait position for Gong as most enemies advanced yet none could reach him. We now have the initiative to deal with this group, but.. Max won't be reaching anything this turn, and Tao and Lowe are out of question. Perhaps they'll get baited by their obsession of Max, let's see if I can spread them out like that.
Tumblr media
Yoooo nevermind I underestimated our great leader let's gooooo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MAX GREAT WARRIOR NEVER SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT HIM IN MY LIFE
He's also taking 1 damage from the dwarf so I have zero worries now.
Tumblr media
I decide to get greedy now that I know the hero is very great and all that.
Tumblr media
I'm fairly sure these guys could reach Lowe but they wanna kiss Max so bad it makes them look stupid. Max also counters the other dwarf, I suck at screenshotting counters, but the guy survived at 1 HP which is such a waste.
Tumblr media
Max gets another absurd level up, this isn't even every stat, I'm bad at screenshotting level ups too, but look at this, no wonder I used to basically solo with him back when I was worse in the game.
I'm also convinced at this point Lowe won't be doing any useful healing so I'll start spamming the spell just for the exp. He and Tao did take some damage at the beginning so it's not totally useless.
Tumblr media
Turn 9. I think Tao can reach that dwarf and finish them to get some exp. Would like to save the goblin for them as well but the guy is dedicated to chasing Max and I don't want them around while dealing with the last enemies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The blazing woman succeeds, gets a good level up, and an item drop for her trouble, actually I don't think I've ever got so many item drops, it's hilarious to get so lucky at a first challenge run.
Tumblr media
Disaster! We're at Turn 12 and the dark dwarf has done this garbage move, I thought these enemies had fixed position beyond the bridge. Maybe that's how it is in the mega drive version, this one has more aggressive AI, but don't quote me on that. What matters is that I messed up big time, bye bye Demibuster.
Tumblr media
You can't say Max isn't trying though because he does a double hit and massacres the dwarf immediately. I have also healed him with a medical herb and Gong with himself last turn so we can be aggressive at these enemies, we just lack time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND AS I SAY THAT, a knight counters for a whooping 4 points of damage, because I forgot how absurd they were compared to everything else, and then the knight pair finishes Gong off with their own turn actions.
Congratulations Gong for getting the first death of the playthrough! This is why I did NOT challenge myself to a deathless run.
Worse part is that like, the battle sure was easy. Had I totally given up on the Demibuster instead of trying some miracle this could have been avoided. Alas.
Everything finishes up perfectly in the next turn. Man, I'm mad, this was so easy to avoid. My shame costs me 90 gold, I think reviving is pricier in this version??? Oh this will suck. I save in the Mountain Hut because might as well save entering Guardiana for the next update.
Losses: 0 Deaths: 1 My hubris: immense

Note: I have decided to ignore the many faults of Bayonetta 3 (story, pacing, etc.) and attempt to enjoy what I can of the game, because life is too short and shitty to focus on the things I hate. These are some notes about the gameplay, as I challenge myself to finish the game using only Color My World (this is a personal challenge for my second play-through). Maybe someone will find this useful? Or at least entertaining? But this is mostly a me thing lmao
Color My World
The first thing I noticed is that these new guns lack the oomph of Scarborough Fair. I noticed this with Love Is Blue in Bayo 2 as well, the hits felt much less weighty, and 3 continues this trend. Imo 3 is better than 2 due to the fact that the enemies aren't constantly blocking every attack that isn't in Witch Time or a Wicked Weave/summon.
For some reason CMW can no longer shoot indefinitely if you keep the Kick/Punch buttons pressed. They will shoot some bullets then stop, and it never stopped feeling... awkward. Like it wasn't by design.
Use of Demon Slave is OBLIGATORY when maining CMW, both for the stagger and because defeating most enemies would take you an eternity otherwise.
Launching the smaller enemies up and wailing on them in the air is still a VERY viable strategy, and feels quite good. CMW seems to automatically follow launched enemies as long as you are actively attacking.
Madama Butterfly
A great summons—good speed, good mobility, good stagger-rate. Her special attack (the kiss) is actually great. It's op but it also has a VERY long wind-up, which prevents you from spamming it indefinitely. She is a great all-rounder.
When she gets enraged this queen is absolutely lethal. Extremely aggressive and will outright ignore enemies and target you specifically. I haven't enraged TOO many summons but she is definitely in my top 3 when it comes to rampages.
Butterfly Masquarade
I think controls should be tighter. As it is, the movement is a bit... floaty (haha kill me), and with the platforming sections and Umbran Tears the shortcomings of the control scheme becomes very obvious.
The movement speed could be faster. It is noticeably slower than Panter Within and Crow Within, which, again, gets frustrating when you're chasing around Cats and Crows and trying to race against time with the Rememberance of Time clones (why did they fucking bring back this gimmick man???). I think that this Masquarade specifically could benefit from a triple jump or something like that. I know that I could use other Masquarades. I often do, in fact, but imo intentionally kneecapping a method of gameplay in order to FORCE the players into using other things is cheap as fuck. Again, really personal thing that will probably not resonate with everyone, but it be like that when you're tired and brainstorming lmao.

Reduced stress
Chiropractic Care: A Holistic Approach to Athletic Well-being
Chiropractic care is founded on the principle that the body's structure, particularly the spine, plays a vital role in overall health. Chiropractic doctors, through manual adjustments and manipulations, work to align the spine and correct any misalignments or imbalances. This approach not only aids in relieving pain but also supports the body's innate ability to heal itself and function optimally.
Improving Athletic Performance
Athletes often seek that extra edge to enhance their performance. Chiropractic care can contribute significantly to achieving peak performance by optimizing the body's biomechanics. When the spine is properly aligned, nerve communication flows unimpeded, leading to improved coordination, balance, and overall bodily function. This can translate into enhanced agility, speed, and precision attributes critical for success in various sports.
Enhancing Range of Motion
Flexibility and range of motion are vital for athletes to excel in their chosen disciplines. Chiropractic adjustments can help alleviate restrictions in joints and soft tissues, enabling athletes to achieve a wider range of motion. This not only improves their performance but also reduces the risk of muscle strains and joint injuries that can occur due to restricted movement.
Injury Prevention
Preventing injuries is a priority for athletes, as injuries can lead to setbacks and time away from training and competition. Chiropractic doctors take a proactive approach by identifying and addressing areas of the body that are prone to strain or imbalance. Through adjustments and personalized treatment plans, chiropractic care helps athletes maintain optimal musculoskeletal health, reducing the likelihood of injuries.
Managing and Alleviating Pain
Sports-related activities can sometimes lead to pain and discomfort. Chiropractic care is renowned for its non-invasive approach to pain management. Chiropractic doctors identify the root causes of pain, whether it's from a misaligned spine or muscular imbalances, and use targeted adjustments to alleviate discomfort. This allows athletes to continue their training regimens with reduced pain and improved focus.
Faster Recovery
In the event of an injury, chiropractic care can play a pivotal role in the recovery process. Chiropractic doctors work in conjunction with other medical professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans that facilitate faster healing. By addressing the musculoskeletal aspects of injuries, chiropractic care can help athletes return to their sports sooner and with a reduced risk of re-injury.
Customized Care for Athletes
Chiropractic care recognizes that every athlete is unique, with distinct physical demands and challenges. Chiropractic doctors tailor their treatments to the individual needs of each athlete, ensuring that they receive personalized care that aligns with their goals and aspirations.
Conclusion
Chiropractic care has emerged as a valuable asset for athletes seeking to improve their performance, prevent injuries, and maintain overall well-being. By working with a chiropractic doctor, athletes can unlock the benefits of proper spinal alignment, enhanced range of motion, injury prevention, pain management, and faster recovery. In the dynamic world of sports, chiropractic care stands as a holistic approach that empowers athletes to achieve their best while promoting long-term health and vitality.

Why Does Post-Surgery Shapewear Gain So Much Favor in 2022?
Why Does Post-Surgery Shapewear Gain So Much Favor in 2022?
When shapewears reigned centuries ago, the main purpose of this undergarment was to accentuate breasts, waist, and hips of women. These kinds of shapewear – most came in the form of corsets – helped women instantly go a size down and make the body seem smaller.
But in this day and age, shapewears have changed and are not only used for beauty purposes. They are now more comfortable, affordable, and have a lot of health benefits that is why they gained the stamp of approval from many women.
Right now, there are many types of shapewear available in the market but among the most popular are the compression garments. But what is it really for? And why is it becoming so popular to many women? Read on to find out more about compression garments and why you may need one now, or in the future.
What is a post surgical compression garment?
Compression garments are elastic clothing made usually from elastin and nylon. This type of shapewear has become very popular among athletes, and is widely used for medical reasons. They are used to provide support to people who have undergone surgeries to improve blood circulation and speed up recovery. Compression garments play an important role in recovering from surgical procedures such as C-section, liposuction, breast surgery, face lifting, and more.
Benefits of wearing post surgery shapewear
From reducing postoperative pain and swelling to accelerating your recovery process, post surgery shapewear has a lot of benefits more than you know. To learn more about compression garments, we’ve rounded up the five benefits of wearing post surgery shapewear.
1. It can speed up your healing process
Sculptshe Postpartum Recovery Tummy Control Body Shaper
Recovering from surgery can take a lot of time especially if you underwent C-section or plastic surgery. That is why there are doctors who usually advise using a post surgical compression garment. What this shapewear does is that it holds your body tighter to improve blood circulation, minimize swelling and bruising, and reduce postoperative pains. Through these benefits, your body can heal faster.
Sculptshe’s postpartum recovery tummy control body shaper not only helps you speed up the postpartum recovery but also makes it a little easier to fit into pre-pregnancy clothes. This body shaper features a zipper crotch for easy access to the toilet, removable straps, and a 3-level hook and eye front closure for a desirable adjustment.
2. It can help improve your blood circulation
Sculptshe 3-in-1 Postsurgical Body Shaper with Removable Bra
Trying to get back into your normal routine after your operation can be a challenge because moving too much too soon can slow down your recovery. However, limited mobility has its downside as well as it can lead to blood clots due to lack of proper blood circulation. The pressure your compression garment puts on your body allows your blood to flow freely. This reduces the risk of developing blood clots.
If you want to improve your blood flow across your body, this 3-in-1 full body shapewear could be the right choice for you. It provides you 360° body compression for full body management, and is suitable for postpartum women, and those who have undergone C-section and liposuction surgery.
3. It can lessen the chance of swelling
Sculptshe Post Surgical Bra Arms and Breast Compression Top
Postoperative swelling occurs when there is an increased fluid movement and build up to the affected area. As mentioned previously, compression garments improve blood circulation by steadily squeezing the affected area. This means, using this reduces the amount of fluid buildup, and can help prevent swelling.
If you underwent a liposuction or breast surgery, prevent the treated and nearby areas from swelling by wearing this post surgical bra arms and breast compression top from Sculptshe. This post surgical liposuction compression mastectomy bra has a 3D stereo mold cup around that gives you smooth and full coverage of your breast. It provides a gentle compression to reduce pain and swelling, and greatly improve your results after an operation.
4. It can reduce postoperative pains
Sculptshe Firm Tummy Compression Bodysuit
It is a proven fact that a postsurgical body shaper has a lot of health benefits for people who underwent operations. But how can a compression garment really reduce pain after surgery? The answer is simple: the same pressure that helps minimize swelling also helps limit the amount of pain in your body. The steady pressure that a compression garment provides helps you to feel more comfortable.
Get the maximum body support you need after your operation with this firm tummy compression bodysuit that tightens your body with constant pressure for a more comfortable healing process. It has an open crotch design so you can smoothly access the bathroom, a 3-front hook closure to wear it and take it off easily, and wide shoulder straps to provide better body support and make you feel comfortable.
5. It can minimize skin sagging
Sculptshe 360 Lipo Foam Post Surgery Abdominal Board
Whether you’ve had C-section or plastic surgery, the procedure can leave behind sagging skin. And sometimes, it can take several months for your skin to return to its form. For a quicker solution, compression garments are your best option as these can help reduce the appearance of sagging skin. A compression garment achieves this by holding your skin and internal tissues and muscles in place while they heal.
Sculptshe’s 360 lipo foam post surgery abdominal board is a great option for postpartum women, those who had C-section, liposuction, or tummy tuck procedure because it holds your tummy well. Aside from this, it also avoids the girdle from bending and causing skin folds. This abdominal board also has a velcro closure allowing you to adjust its compression to your liking.
With these awesome benefits, post-surgical shapewear, without a doubt, are not just a trend but is here to stay. Get the extra support you need after surgery with Sculptshe’s high-quality body shapers that will not let you break the bank to achieve your desired look.

Calvin Tankman Vs. Jay Malachi: A Matter Of Will.
Some feelings are indescribable. Like how it feels to fall in love or how it feels to watch a car crash. In wrestling, those feelings sometimes combine to make a whole new feeling. From the moment I heard Red Opps being used as entrance music, I knew this would be one of those matches that would make me feel those feelings.
But like every other wrestling match in history, it all begins with the people in the ring. The Red Opps entrance music belongs to Jay Malachai, someone I hadn't remembered seeing before this match in the singles competition. His frame is wiry and lanky, his movements confident. I could tell this was a moment he was more than ready for, a spotlight he was more than hungry for. Standing opposite him is Calvin Tankman. 355 pounds. Faster than a man his size has any right to be. Known to kick ass, mainly in MLW but I believe I've seen him in GCW as well. A certifiable threat. Definitely, not the type of guy you'd trade barbs with before the bell.
And yet
This scrawny 18-year-old kid... is popping shit to Calvin Tankman...Good shit too. They engage in a heated back and forth, no handshake given, (In fact, a hand was kicked away) and the bell rings. The engines start, and we're off to the races. It becomes immediately obvious that Jay is outmatched in a lot of ways. The only two things really working to his benefit are his speed and his will.
Fighting Spirit. Heart. That dawg in him. All pet names for what every wrestling fan grows to love about the sport. The will to win. The unmistakable energy of two people leaving it all in the ring is more than present in this match. Malachai relishes the opportunity to show just how tough he is. Tankman relishes the opportunity to show the many ways he can beat a man down. A match made in pro wrestling heaven. Malachai throws flurries and combos, kicks and athletic dives. But he's in the ring with a force of nature. More than 300 pounds of brawn. The DPW gatekeeper himself. A back-fist strike flips Jay like an action figure in the hands of a sugar-crazed child. A powerbomb to the apron flattens him like a panini.
But this crazy son of a bitch is back standing. He's taking chops from the gatekeeper. And he's firing up. Another flurry from Jay, another opportunity for Tankman to put him down. Which he does violently, with a forearm strike that sounds like a 25-pound wad of wet paper hitting a whiteboard. Jay is no punk, he's athletic, shows some real in-ring intelligence, and probably is the future of the sport. Yet still, Tankman has literally thrown his body across the ring at this point. The will of man is no match for the forces of nature.
But this crazy son of a bitch is still fighting. With fire in his eyes, Jay Malachai is still willing himself through this fight. With a smile, that almost hints at tankman being proud of Jay he puts him down every time. The match ends after a closing stretch that genuinely had me on my feet. Every match gets a this is awesome chant nowadays, but this match is one of the few that actually deserve it. One of my favorite matches of the year. A must-see. 5 stars on the highspeed scale.

Elementalist Shifter (Shifter Archetype)
Tumblr media
(art by @MainBladeWing on Twitter)
Another step along this trail of elemental-themed archetype, we have moved on to shifters that call upon the power of the elements!
Since shifters are warriors and guardians of the natural world, it would only make sense that a handful of them tap into the elements rather than beasts of the land, air, and sea. As such, they have relatively simple forms, but ones adapted for any situation.
Additionally, as we shall soon see, they have a knack for combining elements together for additional benefits.
The idea of shapeshifting into a powerful elemental form is nothing new, of course. Pathfinder already has the elemental body spells, and previous editions of D&D allowed transmuters and druids alike to take on such forms as well, to say nothing of various fantasy and sci-fi heroes, especially superheroes, who can take on one or more elemental forms in the pursuit of justice and heroism.
In any case, we shall soon see exactly how these shifters make use of their abilities.
As one might expect, these wild warriors gain elemental aspects as they grow in power, starting with one, but eventually gaining all four.
They also may have a knack for learning elemental languages, and even if they don’t learn it, they gain the ability to communicate with such elementals on a primal level, transcending language as long as they have the right elemental aspects.
Rather than claws, these shifters instead learn to channel raw elemental energy into their melee attacks, adding elemental damage based on what aspect they choose to channel. (the aspects don’t actually mention the energy type involved, but we can assume acid for earth, cold for water, electricity for air, and fire for fire.) However, they cannot use this powerful enhancement to their attacks while transformed in even a minor way, forcing them to choose between raw damage and the benefits of their forms.
They of course eventually transform wholly into elementals, though the benefits they gain are somewhat different than the spells, much like with the vanilla shifter aspects.
Additionally, when these shifters utilize multiple minor forms at once, the combination of elements grants them additional abilities. Fire and air makes concealing smoke, air and water summons a localized downpour that extinguishes flame, earth and water creates slippery and gripping mud, air and earth whips up a buffeting sandstorm, fire and water creates a cloud of steam to cover a wide area, and fire and earth creates an area of molten earth and rock that hampers movement and sears foes.
It's also worth mentioning the individual aspects granted by this archetype as well. Air grants a bonus to dexterity in it’s minor form, while the major form is a medium air elemental that gains air mastery, the whirlwind ability, and even an improvement to their attacks.
Earth grants a tougher, more resilient body, while the major form gains earth mastery  and a swift burrow speed at the cost of their overland speed, and an improved slam as well.
Fire improves dexterity, and the major form is swift overland, gains the strengths and weaknesses of being made of fire, as well as faster progression on the improvement of their slam damage, a burn effect, and additional base fire damage to add to the slam as well.
Finally, water improves strength in the minor form, and the major form is slow on land and swift in water, gains water mastery, the ability to quench flame, as well as finally a better slam and the ability to create vortexes.
All in all, this archetype is a fun revision of the shifter that grants powerful elemental abilities. However, note that since your elemental forms never increase in size, the vortex and whirlwind abilities will only be effective against the smallest of foes. You’ll instead want to use those forms primarily for the mobility. Meanwhile, the fire aspect is clearly the best choice for the offensively minded, while earth is for the tanky. However, don’t forget that even when not transformed these shifters can be offensive powerhouses, adding a lot of elemental damage to their unarmed strikes or weapons, not to mention using combined minor aspects for defense and control as well. In this way, perhaps more so than other shifters, this archetype is about managing the level of transformation to match your needs in the current moment.
More than many elemental-themed characters, these shifters instinctively understand the need for balance. However, that isn’t to say that the elements coursing through their transformed flesh cannot affect them, and it could be fun to roleplay a character who’s persona noticeably changes when invoking an element.
In the most remote mountains of the Kujiyama range, they say that oni and their followers practice elemental martial arts to turn the power of nature against civilization, and the Earth Yai known as Jano no Yama infamously teaches his mortal followers how to transform themselves into bloodthirsty elementals while indoctrinating them to reject civilization and goodness.
Manifesting wings of flame, Arikati is progressing nicely in her training as an elemental shifter, working with both air and fire with ease. However, she appears to have an aversion for earth and water, calling them heavy. However, it becomes increasingly clear that this stems from something deeper, some secret trauma from her past that she must get past to continue her training.
For the most part, nagas tap into the arcane, the divine, and the occult, but they not not very familiar with nature magic. As such, some among their kind sought ways to grant that power to their nagaji servants, and that research bore interesting fruit, giving some the ability to tap into the elements and take serpentine elemental forms.

It is with a heavy heart I must announce...I’ve started playing like three runs of Hades a day again.
I got it in my head that I wanted to try unlocking the additional story stuff for the gods and the various NPCs, and...I can’t say I’ve made a ton of progress.  Some, sure, but not as much as I was hoping.  It’s kinda drawn out.  The only people I can give Ambrosia to so far are Dusa, Ares (why?), and Poseidon.  This despite my constant efforts to get Artemis to be friends with me.  One day...
So most of this has focused on the runs themselves, and oh god, am I...really not very good at this game.  Like, I’m okay enough to get through it consistently on normal parameters, but adding Heat is a nightmare.
The easiest ones to take were the reduction in healing effects, and the extra hit you have to deal to enemies before their main HP bar appears.  These were pretty simple conditions...until I started having to pile on up to 5-6 Heat.  Then too much is being asked, because you have a bunch of other dangerous conditions in addition to limited healing, and if I don’t find my bro Dionysus, I can’t fix the healing issue.  Eventually, I came to a realization.  I can either keep bringing in a ton of detrimental effects that are a nuisance to get through, or I can put on the +20 move and attack speed of enemies condition and try to acclimate to the game playing faster, securing an easy +3 heat condition.
I cannot acclimate to this game playing faster.
I just attempted a run with the fists, with nothing but this condition.  I didn’t get fantastic damage dealing skills, but I got some okay ones, combined with HP stacking skills that let me hit over 400.  I lost all four lives on Hades’ fight.  Because he’s just too fast for me to deal with, when using these shitty fist weapons at close range, with limited boons.  To a degree, boons supplement and are what gets me through or not, but realistically my skill level just can’t handle that movement speed.  I need range.  I need range so bad.
On the plus side of things, I’ve gotten used to the bow.  Aspect of Chiron, I think, is the one with the homing shots on Special?  I adore that.  I put a lot into that particular skill, and it’s been fantastic.  If I can get a boon that stacks effects with Special, like stacks of Hangover or Chill with Burst, it’s ridiculous.  I love it.
On the negative side, apparently my best is still the gun.  This in spite of how much I fucking hate using the gun.  My big issue is that, unless you get one of a handful of weapon upgrades for it, the Gun winds up being complete trash.  The big one is Rocket Launcher.  If I can just make my special less stupid, I feel better.  But the other is the spread bomb.  That one isn’t like...as useful, but it is really funny.  The only other one that I’ve liked is one that gives +6 bullets and some extra attack damage.  But really, the problem with the gun is just that it’s annoying, fairly RNG dependent, and also the only one I’ve beaten 6 Heat with.  I think the next best is 4, and I have failed to do +3 with the fists.  I don’t really know how to feel about this.
I’ve also realized a sort of priority order for things.  Top of the list is weapon upgrades.  I feel like those are actually gamechangers in how good they can be.  Especially for the Gun and Bow.  Artemis’ Aid remains my #1 boon pick, while I’ve grown pretty fond of aiming for Dionysus, Ares, and in some cases, Zeus.  Though Zeus is very specific to piling on Jolted damage as well.  I’ve also taken to Chaos Gates early in the run.  Late in the run, the HP cost is a bit high, and I do not want to have detrimental effects in Elysium, but in early zones?  The benefits can be really nice.
Still plugging away at it.  I imagine one day I’ll even finish a sidequest!  But for now, I’m still just grinding away, trying to get everyone capped out on Nectar, at least.

Speeding Up Recovery: Chiropractic Techniques for Sports Injuries
Tumblr media
The Magic of Chiropractic Adjustments
Imagine your body as a high-performance vehicle. Just as a car needs a proper wheel alignment to run at its best, your body needs a balanced musculoskeletal system to perform without pain. Chiropractic adjustments are all about restoring this balance. By applying a controlled force to the joints that have moved out of place or aren't functioning properly, chiropractors help reduce pain, enhance movement, and improve performance. It's not just about the back or neck; adjustments can benefit other parts of the body too, aiding in a quicker return to the field.
The Soothing Touch of Soft Tissue Therapy
Muscles and tendons play a huge role in sports and, consequently, in sports injuries. That's where soft tissue therapy comes in. Techniques like massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy can help relieve the tension in overused muscles, break down scar tissue, and increase circulation to the injured area. This not only helps in reducing pain and swelling but also promotes faster healing by improving the flow of nutrients to the tissues in need.
Mobilization Techniques: Gaining Back Your Movement
After an injury, the fear of moving and possibly worsening the condition can be paralyzing. Mobilization techniques are the gentle nudge that helps restore joint movement and function. By slowly moving the joint through its range of motion, chiropractors help increase flexibility and decrease pain. It’s a less forceful approach than adjustments but equally vital in ensuring that your recovery path leads you back to full mobility.
Functional Exercises: Building Strength, the Right Way
Recovery isn’t just about getting back to where you were; it’s about coming back stronger and more resilient. Functional exercises are tailor-made to your specific needs, focusing on correcting the imbalances that might have contributed to your injury in the first place. These exercises improve strength, stability, and flexibility, ensuring that once you're back in the game, you're less likely to face the same issues again.
As we wrap up, remember, that the road to recovery doesn't have to be a solo journey. Integrating chiropractic care into your recovery process can offer a holistic approach to healing, ensuring you’re not just ready to play, but also primed to perform at your best. Whether you're looking to recover from an injury or prevent one, turning to Lifespring Chiropractic might just be your best play. Finding the right sports chiropractor can set you on a path not just to recovery, but to discovery—discovery of your body's potential to heal, perform, and thrive.
