Today is Fifth of First Seed, Hermaeus Mora's Summoning Day! We have reasonable evidence to believe that Hermaeus Mora enjoys books, so if you choose to summon him today, perhaps regale him with recommendations of your favorite obscure novels.

I just realized the fact that you tell all about your story @ Emet-Selch on Elpis means... You tell him about Zenos too. Yeah you'll have a great-grandson. Yeah he'll be more unhinged than you could ever hope to be. Yeah he kinda killed your God :// and started the apocalypse you were so determined to stop :/// bc he's obsessed with me. Yeah. I know.

anyways, i'm not going to say tim is a paragon of sensitivity or anything, because he's not, but i do think the graysons' death is an area where he does actively try to at least be somewhat delicate and sensitive about discussing it.
batman #441
like he very much actively does not want to have to tell dick how he knows, and he's very apologetic that bringing it up is hurtful to dick.
secret origins 80 page giant
like honestly. this is actually a very neutral way of telling the story. very bare bones. "it was the best day of my life. then your parents died." which. is objectively true?? and tim is still very apologetic, especially when he realizes how he might be coming across. like. idk. obviously dick is the center of this tragedy, but it is fundamentally like. a super, super terrible and traumatizing thing for a child of indeterminate age (anywhere from 2-7) to witness a death, not just in general, but at a happy place like a circus. hell. it was fundamentally terrible for the adults at the circus to witness this death, bruce and jack and janet and every single person in that audience included. and while it's a little cringey that tim is narrating the worst day to dick's life to dick, this conversation only even came up because dick brought it up to begin with.
and at this point dick and tim have known each other for almost a decade in real time and have been explicitly written as brothers for probably about 4 years real time, so dick probably genuinely doesn't mind talking about this with tim. i do like the idea of how this probably progresses for dick over time. like, at first, dick is probably super, super annoyed at this thirteen year old kid who wormed his way into dick's personal tragedy but then as dick gets to know him and love him and that's his little brother now-
like how much it must crush dick (now that he knows and loves tim) that tim had to experience the same horrible thing that happened to dick and that dick's parent's death happening is what ended up bringing the two of them back together again eventually.

Holy cow there’re a lot and I really do mean A LOT of Welcome Home AUs, and more coming too. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but it makes sense considering WH doesn’t have a lot to work with so it leaves tons of room for fans to play around with. I just hope it doesn’t get outta hand like what happened to Undertale with its AUs.
People are free to have creative liberty on what aus they wanna make- like you said there is very little canon content to munch on so people will pull a “fine I’ll do it myself” JCHFHDHU-
I personally don’t mind it as well, but I do enjoy the aus where they purposely change Wally’s height just to make him more simp-able LMAOO

Hizashi Yamada is too powerful to be anything other than a side character
5/5 intelligence stat - this one's from the Ultra Archive book but I don't have anything to prove it, so you just have to take my word for it sorry but it's not hard to believe considering we know he speaks english well enough to teach it, has multiple high intensity jobs, and has some pretty good instincts too.
Highly intuitive - We see this first in chapter 83, after the training camp invasion, when Mic suggests a student could have betrayed them. And then again in chapter 254 with the Kurogiri reveal, where Mic questions the reason for it (really this is more of a grief fueled rambling, but I'm counting it anyway). In both cases, he's quickly dismissed, only to later be proven right.
Excels at all parts of heroism - Even as a teenager in the flashbacks in chapter 60 of Vigilantes, we can see that Mic is naturally skilled at being a hero. Obviously, he's now had 15 years to grow and improve, so it would be safe to assume he's even stronger and more skilled now.
Powerful quirk since birth - I think chapter 66 is the first time we get an idea of what he's really capable of. Plenty of other people have posted about just how destructive his quirk probably is, so I'm not going to rehash that here. What I am going to say is that we're told most people get their quirks around the age of 4, and we've seen that even as teenagers, they're still growing and strengthening their quirks. Whereas Mic's had literally his entire life to hone a quirk that was powerful enough to cause damage from the start.
Near All Might in terms of strength/power among UA teachers - Then in chapter 67, while Izuku's discussing his classmates exams with Recovery Girl, she states that Mic's one of the strongest teachers at UA. What interests me about this is that they're actually discussing Midnight, and Mic's already been beaten by this point. There's no need to bring him up really. Except that it's true and Izuku wants to learn everything he can about the pros. It's just a little throwaway line that actually reveals a lot.
And he does all of this while managing three very different jobs. Same, Izuku, same.
