A Birthday Tribute to Stephen Sondheim
We interrupt your regularly scheduled Diva posts and polls with a 24-hour Stephen Sondheim lockdown to recognize an honorary Broadway Diva and certified musical theatre god.
Tumblr media
Stephen Joshua Sondheim (1930) was a legendary composer and lyricist who essentially reinvented the American musical with his soaring scores and fiendishly clever lyrics. With Oscar Hammerstein as his mentor, he began his Broadway career writing lyrics for West Side Story (1957) and Gypsy (1959). Throughout his life, he won eight Tony Awards, including a Special Tony, more than any other composer. His dedicating to writing fascinating, flawed, fantastic roles for women (particularly women of a certain age) means his work is some of the most sought-after of our Divas.
Sondheim Theatre and Concert Credits:
I have done the research and pulled together a list of every single role our Divas have played, and every Sondheim concert they have participated in. Here are just a few takeaways.
All together, 64 Divas have had a whopping 245 roles/concerts and counting.
Eleven Divas have never (to my knowledge) performed in a Sondheim or at a Sondheim-specific concert. Seven of those are non-singing actresses, leaving just four musically-inclined Divas bereft. (Brenda Braxton, Lillias White, Linda Eder, Ute Lemper). However, all four Divas have performed Sondheim's songs in their personal concert repertoires
Eighteen Divas have done just one Sondheim, some in particularly obscure contexts.
The most common roles are The Witch (Into the Woods - 9), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd - 8), Mama Rose (Gypsy - 8), Desiree Armfeldt (A Little Night Music - 8), Phyllis Rogers Stone (Follies - 6). More on that later.
Most Frequent Sondheim Performers:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bernadette Peters: 21 Highlights include: Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Follies, Gypsy.
Patti LuPone: 20 Highlights include: Company, Sweeney Todd, Gypsy, Anyone Can Whistle.
Marin Mazzie: 13 Highlights include: Passion, Merrily We Roll Along, Into the Woods, Anyone Can Whistle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Audra McDonald: 11 Highlights include: Sweeney Todd, Passion, Six by Sondheim, A Little Night Music.
Donna Murphy: 11 Highlights include: Passion, Into the Woods, Anyone Can Whistle, Follies.
Christine Baranski: 11 Highlights include: Company, Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd, Follies.
Tony Awards and Nominations:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leading Actress in a Musical: 14 Nominations (exc. wins) | 5 Divas 9 Wins | 4 Divas
Mama Rose in Gypsy is the most-decorated role in musical theatre canon, and arguably the best role for women period. In five productions, every actress has either been nominated (Ethel Merman, Bernadette Peters), or won (Angela Lansbury, Tyne Daly, Patti LuPone).
Both Desiree Armfeldt actresses have won their respective years (Glynis Johns, Catherine Zeta-Jones). Additional winning roles have been Phyllis Rogers Stone (Alexis Smith), Mrs. Lovett (Angela Lansbury), The Baker's Wife (Joanna Gleason), and Fosca (Donna Murphy).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Featured Actress in a Musical: 17 Nominations (exc. wins) | 4 Divas 4 Wins | 1 Diva
Some of the most common roles to be nominated for in a Sondheim show are Amy and Joanne from Company (in the original production, Elaine Stritch competed in Leading Actress), and Louise in Gypsy. No featured role has netted more than one award.
Winners: Patricia Elliott (Charlotte, ALNM), Laura Benanti (Louise, Gypsy), Karen Olivo (Anita, West Side Story), and Patti LuPone (Joanne, Company).

May I request La Squadra x reader who wants to go on a special trip? Could be for valentine's day or some other occasion it would just be fun to see where they take reader and what they do! Thank you! 💗
La Squadra x Reader Valentines Headcanons
Taking their S/o on a Special Trip
Oooo I like this 💓 Had fun typing these up! Sorry these are late! Took me a while to think up places. I don’t write for Melone and I couldn’t think of anything for Pesci.
Somewhat Nsfw themes ahead 🔞
Ghaccio
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He'd take you on a Alaska cruise. The sights are so beautiful and he adores the cold. There is plenty of new beautiful scenery and much to do on the cruise. He'll be sure to pick a very nice one with delicious food and fun performances he knows you'd enjoy.
This cruise would be one week and it so happens to be for Valentines. Since the holiday is around the corner he is picking a very expensive room for you both.
He'll have Valentine's planned out. He prepared his present for you and will take you to the Broadway-style shows. If you're not into it there's also a casino and bar you two can go to.
The room service is absolutely amazing. All meals on board including 24-hour room service aside from specialty restaurant dining but he'll take you to eat at the restaurant if you really want to.
He gets a bit bashful about how cute you look in winter clothing. Especially if you barrow his scarves or clothing
The Onboard activities, fitness center and pools will be fun for the both of you to enjoy. Exercising would be in the mornings or afternoons if you're into it. The heated pool will feel like a spa and much needed after being in cold weather if you two decide to visit the rest areas the cruise stops at.
Spa treatments or gaming is also available so you two get to enjoy them. Ghaccio loves the spa treatments more so than the gaming. They leave him so relaxed afterwards. If you two game together he’ll have such a great time.
When you two go to the towns to look at all the beautiful scenery it's very nice to see a new place and take pictures together. Ghaccio loves your winter outfits so much. He will take so many pictures with you
For Valentine’s Day he’ll get plan to get off the rest stop And travel in the area with you. He’ll give you his present he saved you. Depending on you he’ll either take you to the restaurant or somewhere you’d enjoy like a skiing trip or activities on the ship.
Iluso
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He'll take you to a Cancun Resort for three days. The last day would be Valentine’s Day. He’ll book the most expensive room with the most lovely view too.
You two will spend so much time together on the beaches. He’ll flirt it up with you depending on what swimwear you decide to wear.
You two will get to enjoy the indoor hot tub together in the hotel. The luxury spas and all the fine dining the hotel offers.
The beaches are breath taking and make for such a romantic atmosphere. Illuso will appreciate the views and stay quiet as he watches. He’ll most likely be tanning or walking along with you on shore. If you’re into swimming he won’t mind joining you but he’ll lay on something inflatable as you do.
The area might have shopping and different restaurants you two visit. Illuso happily uses his stand abilities to steal anything your heart wants. Dining and dashing will also be done through the use of his stand.
On Valentines he’ll take you to the spa and beach where you two spend the rest of the day together. At night you two will bathe together and make love all night long after drinking a bottle of expensive wine.
Risotto
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He would want to go somewhere haunted but interesting with plenty for you two to explore and enjoy together. There are many haunted places on his bucket list but a nice place he remembered wanting to visit is Bar Harbor in Maine. It is one of the nicer places to visit since some of the views would be nice and good food will be available.
Pirate shipwrecks, Indian burial sites, and unsolved murders all play a part in the spooky past of Bar Harbor, Maine. Many of places in the area are said to be haunted. Which would attract Risottos interest the most. If you’re scared Risotto will protect you and remind you how deadly his stand is. He didn’t earn his title in la squadra for no reason.
While you both travel to these places you two will take pictures together. Risotto will want to keep it in a scrapbook for all the haunted places he wants to travel on his bucket list.
Tours of the haunted areas are also offered. Such as the red cloak tour and walk around the town’s Old Burial Ground, or inside the haunted Art Deco Criterion Theatre, and the guide telling of scary Wabanaki indigenous tales. Risotto is interested in all of these tours. Though haunted they’re still interesting to the curious eye and the setting is still beautiful despite the haunting past. Plus you’ll feel safer with all the other tourists in such a tour as well.
Risotto will want to go to all the tours and haunted areas so you two will be spending a week there together.
Outside of the haunted areas the picturesque town of Bar Harbor, Maine has earned a reputation as one of the best summer vacation destinations in the U.S. For good reason too as you’ll see along with your tall goth boyfriend. The harbor has so much to offer for you both traveling as a young couple together.
The town has delicious seafood restaurants, artisan shops, and Penney of water sports one could enjoy in the waters nearby. Risotto will only do so if you’re interested in these type of active sports.
If you’re not sporty and prefer to travel around the area there is a seaside village northeast of the harbor. Many of the richest families live in the area so amazing sight seeing is welcomed for the ocean facing mansions, and glamorous yachts lining the harbor. Risotto will think it’s nice but he’s more interested in what the area offers such as the stores and restaurants.
This exclusive neighborhood is extremely walkable, full of delicious restaurants and chic boutiques to explore. Plenty of fancy restaurants are in this area and a very nice jewelry store. Risotto will happily have his stand steak for you. He’ll go to any restaurant you want no matter how expensive it is.
On the day of Valentines he’ll take you to the lovely nature filled areas of the land offering the absolute best view. Colorful trees, flowers everywhere, and clear water. He’ll take you on a picnic and ask how you’re liking the trip. You two will spend a lot of time together and he’ll spoil you during the trip. All in all it’s a wonderful experience.
Sorbet and Gelato
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couples retreat where you will enjoy spa treatments and relaxation by a beach. These two are going to spoil you rotten on this trip. Atleast three or four days together will be spent during this vacation.
The beach is absolutely gorgeous and you’re happier the room you’re all staying in happens to be a fancy beach house. The bar and spa treatments add to the paradise.
Sorbet and Gelato will compliment you so much during this vacation. They’re also going to be looking their best too since they’ll both be coming onto you left and right.
On the beach all three of you will swim or relax in the water. Tanning or enjoying yourselves under an umbrella is welcomed.
They’ll spend a lot of time at the bar ordering their favorites or having you try new drinks thy recommend. If you don’t drink alcohol they’ll tease you but want some of your drink (mainly Sorbet).
At the spa they’ll want massages while you receive a facial or massage of your own.
On the day of Valentines both have an expensive gift for you such a jewelry or designer clothing. If you get them something they’re both eager and get lovey dovey. A threesome is happening that night too.
At night or morning time, one or the other is trying to get in your pants especially if you wear little clothing.
The whole trip is so fun and enjoyable. All three of you will miss it. On the way back to Naples Sorbet and Gelato will have a conversation about what the next trip should be.
Proscuitto
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's taking you to Vegas and the hotel is going to be the Bellagio hotel and casino. It's an elegant Italian-inspired hotel and casino. He'll book a 3 day stay.
Inside the hotel you’ll notice the fancy and over the top decor. The huge fountain inside will greet you two upon entering.
The room is going to be the most expensive one offered to couples. It’s incredibly luxurious with a nice window view. The suite also offers alcohol and an oversized tub.
You two may bathe together here or there while he smokes or reads a magazine holding your waste. If it’s late he’s drinking whiskey.
He may or may not seduce you throughout the time you’re in the suite with him. Especially after you two spend time in the casino.
He’s good at gambling so you’ll be beside him with your own drink as he’s smoking and gambling. If you’re into gambling he’ll let you be but come to your after a couple hours.
You two will be doing a lot of shopping together. Outside the hotel you two will go to different restaurants in Vegas. If you’re interested going anywhere he’ll gladly take you. He’s happy as long as you are.
Prosciutto is spoiling you during this trip so enjoy all that you can through your time in Vegas with him.
On Valentine’s Day he has roses and room service for you in the morning. Afterwards he’ll present you a gift and offer to take you to a restaurant later. He’ll have you pick and pull some strings to get a reservation with his ties to the mafia. He’ll want to make love once you’re both back at the hotel.
Formaggio
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He doesn't want to be cliché and take you to a couples hotel so he'll take you somewhere fun out of the country. He'll take you to a water park, Knotts Berry farm soak city. Let’s say for this trip he promised to take you here since it’s only open during particular seasons. Meaning on the actual day of Valentines you two spend the day together in favor of saving money for a trip in the warmer seasons instead.
On Valentines he bought you chocolates and you two went out bar hopping then had plenty of sexy time together at home.
There is much the water park offers. He won't book a hotel near the park since he wants sexy time at a hotel. The hotels at the park have families so he won't want them hearing you two. Your hotel will be far from the park but he rented a car so you’re both good. Parking does take a while but it’s worth it since you two go when the park opens.
You two spend four days at the hotel and two of them is spent at the park. At the park you two enjoy all it has to offer.
Plenty of water slides with huge floaties to ride on as you slide down them. Water rides involving floaties and giant slides.
A river of floaties for you two to travel on down the current in enjoyable relaxation under the sun. You two will talk and play around together.
There’s plenty of stores and places to eat. You two will enjoy frozen treats and junk food together laughing as you walk along through the park in sandels.
He’ll flirt it up with you and compliment you constantly. If you’re both in line or beside eachother as you sit or enjoy water his arm is around you.
At the wave pool you two will play and chat for hours. At the giant slides where it requires more than one person, he’s going to be behind you laughing and hollering as you two descent down the slides together.
The two days you’re both not at the park you’re at the hotel. The first day is to settle in and plan for the day tomorrow at the park. The final night you both have plenty of sexy time together so you get to sleep in before the trip is over. You’re both definitely eating at a restaurant not familiar to Italy so you can enjoy new food together.
All in all it’s a wonderful couples trip to a fun water park with lots of memories. You might return depending on how much your prefer it over other types of trips. Formaggio enjoyed it very much and was happy you two took pictures together so he could put them on the fridge.

You guys were hating on the R&J Broadway production saying “Tom can’t have anything for himself” and trying to pretend it was done to copy Tom only for that production to be carrying West End’s R&J promotion on social media. I seen so many positive tweets around both productions in the last 24 hours that I’ve seen ever since Tom’s play got announced.
I wasn't hating on anyone 😂 the hell? No one here (that I'm aware of) said it was done to copy Tom.
Tom's R&J is already sold out. We asking for content doesn't mean they need more promo, lol. No offense, but Tom alone is more famous than both actors cast in that Broadway's version. That's the reason I made a whole post saying I am not worried for him.

Zawe Ashton Isn’t Here to Be a Victim of Your Projections
The actress was never offered a period piece until “Mr. Malcolm’s List.” She was given 24 hours to decide whether to do it. Now she’s earning raves.
Tumblr media
“I haven’t necessarily had the privilege of being cast as the hero,” Zawe Ashton said. “And that’s OK.”
This was on a recent steamy afternoon, and Ashton, 37, a star of the Regency-era romantic comedy “Mr. Malcolm’s List,” had cast herself in the role of a woman eating a hurried lunch at the New York office of a film company before heading to the airport. Low-key glamorous in bare feet, a black slip dress and a sweatshirt that read, “There Are Artists Among Us,” she radiated a particular mix of seriousness, playfulness and a questing intelligence.
While the more gossipy corners of the internet know the London-born Ashton as the fiancée of the actor Tom Hiddleston — they met during a benefit reading of Harold Pinter’s “Betrayal,” which they later performed on Broadway — she has been a professional actor since elementary school and a playwright since her 20s. She has devoted most of her career to playing and writing about outsiders. Julia, a Regency belle, wouldn’t seem to be one of them. Ashton disagrees.
“I think she is,” she said. “There’s something she’s not settling for.”
This probably explains why Ashton infuses Julia with a kind of wildness, a hint of waywardness under and around the sparkle. While the reviews for “Mr. Malcolm’s List” have been mixed, Ashton has earned raves. She dominates, a critic for The Hollywood Reporter wrote, “with her razor-sharp comedic timing ensuring thrilling delivery of her tart lines.”
Tumblr media
Next summer she will appear in the Nia DaCosta-directed “The Marvels,” the follow-up to “Captain Marvel.” Reportedly, she will play the villain. And — after Ashton revealed her pregnancy during a recent screening of “Mr. Malcolm’s List” — at least one more debut is anticipated. Sensibly, she does not talk much about her personal life.
Over salad, she discussed period dramas, playing women on the edge and finding truth underneath the corsetry. These are edited excerpts from the conversation.
You look like you’re having so much fun in this movie. Are you?
I really am. We all really are. We filmed it in a very intense wave of lockdown in Dublin. Our only bonding time was on site, doing the work. We weren’t even allowed to go to a pub. So there was this really rewarding element of coming together in group scenes and working off each other and understanding each person’s unique rhythm. That’s where some of the comedy is coming from, certainly where a lot of the flirtatious energy is coming from.
You haven’t done many period pieces. Why this one?
The big conversation that’s happening now around representation in period drama is very, very real. The reality is you can be acting for a long time and not be called to that table. There’s a sort of indifference that turns into mystification that turns into sadness around that. This was the first period piece I’ve ever been offered. I had 24 hours to decide, and then it was sweatpants to corsets.
What can you tell me about Julia?
What I really loved straight off the bat is where we find her, which is coming out into her fifth season in society without having made a match. It has a little tinge of a woman on the edge. She doesn’t want to be a victim of that society, so she rages against the machine. She does some questionable things. But I hope by the end, she has this humbling redemptive moment where she does find a love match with someone who loves her for her flaws, rather than despite her flaws.
What unlocked her character?
One of the first things I had to do was tap into something very truthful and authentic. Freida [Pinto, her co-star] and I had conversations about picking up something that felt more culturally specific to us. That was a real breakthrough. That you can leave the Austenification behind and find something that chimes with your experience. Then we had an amazing historian. She was really helpful with stuff like how you would drink tea, how you would walk through the streets of London with a man that you’re related to or not related to. That led to the physical life and then costume, hair and makeup, stepping into a corset, stuffing into a bonnet.
Over the last decade you haven’t done many comedies. Why do a comedy now?
I joined a very intense movie club during the lockdown. We watched a movie every night and fed back to each other at the end of every Saturday with Sundays off. We went really high and deliberately quite obnoxious — Bergman, Tarkovsky, Rohmer, Bresson. There was a catharsis there, but I definitely have been looking to escape much more through the work I’ve been doing, the people I want to inhabit.
Your next project is “The Marvels.” Was a superhero project another escape?
I was moving away from acting for a lot of the past five years or so. I did “Betrayal” here in New York without representation [an agent], and, at the end of that, I signed up with some people and I said, I don’t necessarily want to start feeding the machine. I would like to just meet with first-time female directors, or fledgling female directors, specifically directors who are coming from underrepresented backgrounds in our industry. Emma Holly Jones, who directed “Mr. Malcolm’s List,” being one of them. I got set up on a call with Nia DaCosta where we really connected. It was just a seeing of souls. And on the other side of it was a phone call asking me to be part of her new job.
Tumblr media
Rumor has it you’re playing a villain in that film. Or maybe you’ve complicated the idea of a villain?
I don’t really know any other way of going about it, to be honest. I have to start with something real and emotional and authentic and build out from there. I have to understand the deeper meaning in my head.
I read about your engagement to Tom Hiddleston. Is it true you met doing “Betrayal”? Because the marriage in that play is not a good marriage!
Oftentimes, the most distressing, deep work has the happiest companies. The play was called “Betrayal.” But the play behind the scenes was absolute trust.
Well, I’m still hoping that your marriage works out better. It’s funny, you’ve been in this business for nearly 30 years, but when I Googled you, the top results all had to do with your personal life. What’s it like to experience this kind of scrutiny?
As a woman in this industry, you become quite attuned to your identity as an artist shifting in proximity to different people. That’s not specific to dating someone. If there’s a conversation I would have off the back of this question, it’s really about letting women in this industry know that whatever point of career that you’re in, shore up your identity and reason for being, because people will project onto you in the most intense way. When that happens, you have to have an internal anchor. You have to be delighted and joyful in the work that you do. I’m not here to be a victim of projection. I’m here to continually grow as an artist. (x)

In Your Heart
Hi guys! This will eventually be a NSFW fic, but for now I'm enjoying the slow burn. If you enjoy this let me know. I'm looking forward to releasing more Chapters.
Jake Kizka x fem reader
Tumblr media
Chapter One: Late Nights on Broadway
It's a Thursday night in Nashville, and your gig has just started. Tootsie's is already packed with patrons. The smell of liquor mixed with sweat from the summer heat permeates the air in the crowded space. The Orchid Lounge is aglow and the familiarity of your home stage is comforting.
The song ends with a flourish and you take a sip from your drink before strumming the intro to the next. Playing the guitar is as effortless as breathing. Your fingers are calloused and nimble. Running through the different chords almost mindlessly. Looking out into the crowd, you see the usual riff raff. Nashville has always been an interesting place to make a living. Couples dance drunkenly, attached by the tongues. Lonely souls border the dance floor, looking for a mate.
Tabitha, another regular performer here, wailed away at the microphone. Her voice was one of the best in town. You always look forward to nights like tonight when the music is flowing easy.
A few songs later, Tabby announces a brief intermission and the DJ comes on to entertain the crowd for a bit. You place your guitar on its stand and head to the second floor for another drink. Your next set is another hour long and you aren't quite loosened up enough. The
bartender here knows your order and has a vodka soda waiting for you when you exit the staircase. You thank him and take a seat at the bar to sip your drink. This floor is quieter than the others, and it's the perfect place to people watch.
As you do, you see a group of people emerge from the stairwell. You recognize a few faces up here already, and the newcomers are no exception. The Kizka twins cross the room and take a seat at the end of the bar. Josh waves to you. Vacating your seat, you cross the bar and settle in next to the pair.
"What are you two doing here on a Thursday night? I thought you were long past bar gigs." You nudge Josh's shoulder.
"Just out for a drink, a little birdie told me our old friend (y/n) was performing tonight so we thought we'd pay you a visit." He replies as the bartender hands him some fruity drink.
"Yeah it's been a while since we've been out of the studio so we figured a return to our roots was in order." Jake smiles and kills his glass of whiskey.
You'd met the brothers a long time ago at a bar in Nashville when their careers were just starting to pick up. Since then, you saw them every now and again in town.
You catch up for a while, giving the alcohol plenty of time to saturate your bloodstream. The clock on your phone reads 11:20, ten minutes until the next set starts. Just one more drink.
"How's Jita doing?" You ask Jake "Where is she tonight?"
"She's actually at home tonight. Flying out tomorrow for a project in London. Getting plenty of beauty rest." He says as the bartender fills his glass.
"Well tell her I missed seeing her, it's been too long." You say as you down the rest of your drink. "I'll see you two later, the next set is starting in a few."
The music flows freely through you now that you're nice and warmed up. Happy to see some old friends, and now properly buzzed, Tabby's voice melds with your guitar. You see the two brothers and a third man you've never met greet one another and slide into seats at the bar.
...
Your night ends around 3am. You carefully place your old Fender back into its case. It was your first big girl purchase after you started making a little money in town. It's pale blue face shines in the bright lights of the stage and you feel a little nostalgic for the early days of your music career. The bartender slides you a drink for the road as you pass the bar. You carry it with you as you exit the bar and set off on foot.
Another night in the books. At 24, your body has already begun to tell you that you're outgrowing the bar scene. Performing is fine, but the drinking makes you feel as if  you're being viewed from behind thick glass. A wall between yourself and the audience. A security blanket. The glow of the front lights on your building is a welcome sight. A little drunk, and too tired to bother with bathing you collapse into bed. As you fall asleep you feel strong arms wrap you up and the smell of linen pulls you into oblivion.
• • • •
Thanks for reading the first chapter! These will probably be shorter chapters until I get warmed up and decide which form the story is going to take. Updates soon!

I know your actor au centers on dream and hob but can you give us some destiny or delirium tidbits?? They are my favorite endless so slay
Of course I can give Destiny and Delirium tidbits ! It would be my pleasure. Keep in mind tho I'm still in the process of reading the rest of the comics (I have never been a comic reader unfortunately so it's very... slow) but since this is an AU it doesn't matter much.
Destiny
The eldest of The Endless siblings, he's already well established in the industry before Dream was even born.
I mentioned that he was about ten years older than Death. In the timeline I've created of their birth order – he's 12 years older than Dream. His age gap with Delirium is a whole 18 years.
Basically the third parent (the curse of the eldest) but he's not very close with his siblings due to the huge age gap. But he loves them all dearly and does his best to be there for them whenever they ask.
His first role was for a recurring baby food commercial. His first true acting role was him playing the young version of his father in a short film. He was 5 at the time.
Very bad eyesight. Legally blind essentially (see what i did there badum tss)
By the time Dream got his breakout role (as an adult and not a child actor), Destiny was already working on his final film as an actor. He got into directing not long after that.
He teaches Intro to Film Production at Hob's university. It's mostly freshmen. And juniors who want an interesting elective (and curious professors like Hob)
Before professionally directing, he was actually the assistant director in the production of Into The Woods that all the Endless siblings were a part of.
To this day, he still calls that production his greatest masterpiece. Despite numerous accolades and critically acclaimed films, Destiny will always say Into The Woods with his siblings was his best work.
Delirium
Delirium got her first role at three years old in a long-running family sitcom, wherein she stayed in that role until the show eventually ended.
By the final season, Delirium was 15. (lowkey like Lily from Modern Family kinda situation)
Because of her regular role, she hasn't done many other projects besides that show. However, as soon as the show finished she went straight to doing theater
Infamously, she starred in a show on Broadway that only lasted for 30 days. She doesn't like talking about it.
However, the failed Broadway show is said to be the inciting event to her rebranding from Delight to Delirium (though that is not entirely true, it's a factor)
Probably the most present online than the rest of her siblings (save Desire, who constantly updates their instagram). She promotes any new project of hers with an original song
Sometimes the lyrics don't rhyme and she forgets what to sing next but everyone loves it
The only sibling who could truly get Destruction back on camera if only for a little bit. It makes the headlines every time she pleads with him to play the guitar for her
Death frequents her little youtube channel to sing on livestreams with her. Sometimes they do a mukbang if they have the time for it. Despair sometimes shows up too (only as a voice and behind the camera or hidden away bc she HATES being in front of the camera)
Delirium sometimes does 24 hour livestreams for charity. No one knows how she always has so much energy to stream for 24 hours straight.
That's my little present for you <3 Thank you so much for asking about the other Endless !!

"Welcome to the Theatre": Diary of a Broadway Baby
Doubt: A Parable

Honestly, I was a little more interested in the circumstances surrounding this production than the actual show itself. Originally Tyne Daly was slated to star, and was fully rehearsed and ready, and then tragically she was hospitalized in the eleventh hour. She's on the road to a full recovery, thankfully, but previews were pushed back to the 3rd, and her understudy held down the fort despite no rehearsal while production scrambled to find a big-name replacement. Enter Amy Ryan. She began performances on the 14th, and has done remarkably well with such little preparation time. I did notice they ended up using a teleprompter to feed her lines on the screen usually reserved for the conductor monitor, but you can't even tell. The show is a solid, if perhaps slightly underwhelming piece. I will be going back for the closing performance in a few months just to see what it's like with more time. But for now...
Verdict: Well...I'm Glad I Saw It

The only thing an A&R man needs, Seymour Stein once said, was a good pair of ears. Stein, who has died aged 80, might have added indefatigable enthusiasm, a streak of opportunism and a shrewd business brain, all of which he deployed in a career that saw him sign the deals that launched the careers of Madonna, the Ramones, Talking Heads, kd lang and many others.
Those artists enjoyed their first hits on Sire Records, the label Stein co-founded in 1966 and with which he remained synonymous even after his company had been absorbed by the Warner Music group. By the time he stood down in 2018, unhappy with corporate politicking, Stein’s achievements had long since earned him a place among the finest “record men” – as they were known – of his generation.
“I have no easily definable skills or talents. I’m a hit man, a record business entrepreneur,” he wrote in the introduction to his autobiography, Siren Song, in 2018. He played no instrument and had no technical knowledge, for which he was ultimately grateful, believing it might have got in the way of an appreciation of artists who could not be judged by conventional musical standards.
The story of how Stein acquired the US rights to the then-unknown British band Depeche Mode for his label typified his modus operandi, based on instinct and energy. One day in 1980 he picked up the latest issue of a British music paper in his New York office and read about a new group signed by a UK contact, Daniel Miller, to his Mute Records label. On a hunch, he grabbed his passport, booked a ticket to London on Concorde, and went straight from the airport to meet the group in Basildon, Essex, their home town, an hour’s drive east of London. “I signed them on the spot,” he remembered.
Their subsequent success made them one of a string of British bands whose records he released in the US. When his rivals called him an anglophile, it was not always, he recalled, meant as a compliment. But it was British musicians, from the Climax Blues Band to the Smiths, who provided a bedrock for his business.
To sign Madonna Ciccone in 1982, he summoned the singer to his bedside at the hospital where he had undergone heart surgery. Having listened to her demo tape, he offered the 24-year-old $45,000 for three singles with the option to release an album. Going on to sell more than 60m albums in the US alone while helping to reshape feminism for a new generation of young women, she was his greatest success.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Dora (nee Weisberg) and David Steinbigle, Orthodox Jews whose own parents had emigrated from Galicia, the region of eastern Europe straddling Poland and Ukraine. His father was employed in Manhattan’s garment industry while his mother worked at her family’s market in Coney Island.
A heart murmur in infancy kept him away from sports at Lafayette high school, where he discovered that he preferred applying his prodigious memory to Billboard magazine’s charts of current bestselling pop records than to his lessons. The love of music was kindled by listening to the records brought home by his older sister.
During a summer holiday he talked his way into an internship at Billboard’s offices on 47th Street and Broadway. It was there that he met Syd Nathan, the myopic, asthmatic, choleric boss of King Records, the label of James Brown, based in Cincinnati. In 1961 Nathan suggested that he shorten his surname and offered him a job, asking, “Do you want to be a spectator or do you want to be in the game?”
It was at King that Stein learned, from the ground up, how the record business really worked. His knowledge would be expanded while working for George Goldner, another old-time record man, at the Red Bird label, where the Shangri-Las and the Dixie Cups were the hit acts.
There he met the songwriter and producer Richard Gottehrer, with whom he founded Sire, each putting in $10,000. The Climax Blues Band, Barclay James Harvest, Matthews Southern Comfort – all from the UK – were among early successes, along with an album by the Dutch band Focus, before the pair began releasing their own self-recorded albums from 1970.
After Gottehrer had left the label in the mid-1970s, Stein and his wife Linda could be seen patrolling the New York clubs, scouting a new generation of local bands. They were quick to pounce on the Ramones, with their two-minute blasts of brattish attitude, and the cooler art-school rock of Talking Heads. From the UK came Echo and the Bunnymen, Soft Cell, and the Pretenders, whose American singer, Chrissie Hynde, was impressed by Stein’s extraordinary recall of lyrics old and new.
As well as continuing to sign emerging acts – many of them from the UK, such as My Bloody Valentine, Aphex Twin and Everything But the Girl – Stein also played a significant role in the later careers of established stars. Brian Wilson’s eponymous first solo LP was released on Sire in 1988; the following year Lou Reed’s artistic momentum was revived by the first of a series of Sire albums, titled New York.
While on a constant search for new music, Stein used his fortune to eat well and to collect art and antiques, including The Siren by the pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse, which he sold at Sotheby’s in London in 2018 for a reported $5m. In 1983 he helped found the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, into which he was inducted in 2005.
He and Linda Adler were married in 1971, shortly after she had recovered from the shock of his announcement that he was gay. Their formidable and often turbulent partnership, which also produced two daughters, was ended by divorce after seven years. Samantha, their elder daughter, died of cancer in 2013. Stein is survived by their younger daughter, Mandy, and by his sister, Ann.
