This draw was done, from the beginning (on the pose step it was just : a someone shape absorbed by reading a book > TILT !) thinking ot my friend @wilwywaylan , that float ABOVE the clouds when speaking about books. (she might even have a yt channel talking about it). The is not a heavy "pink clothes wearer", but scotish skirts and dark fabric didnt match the "I'm a dreamer" theme, let's say there is a princessified insta filter on it.... " Cuties 8": this cutie and two other recently posted were made when I was seashing a style for another project (not burried yet, I need an impulse first...) the famous adventures of Von Maus. And this style test in particular was to really "animalize" the character design. [en] Another cutie cut, one of the first I did some days ago before thinking drawing some whatever characters and color it this style, its good to keep on drawing and practicing colors... This one should have patterns on her clothes, but I'd rather wait to have the patience to try some digital improvements on Toshop. (the perspective to go back to tablet is not even going near to inspire me... ^^) The back ground is for scrapbookings, I found it was matching well with the character... " tests in progress 5": And the other best use of pencil with marker : texture/pattern/granularity. that's an effect that marker can hardly reproduce, and that need som much different color that it needs to be sketchified first, executed from lightest to darkest with care of "relief"... with pencil, only put the overall tone of color needed, darken as you wish with thinness of a pencil point (that no cheap marker can achieve !) and finally lighten with whites, yellow, or watever light color present nearby. this illustration is using this tip for trunk skin and leaves hair. So pencil can also "only" be a support for details and renderings less "flat". That will be used for trees, grounds, walls... and many other backgrounds ! " Eylinn": Ah, it's not a cuttie ! well the paper is also cut (I can put any background I wish to ^^), but not to detach the character... This is another character of the "indemne" project, her role is not crucial to the story but she got her design fast... She is an ex of one of the protagonists, and kept friend and occasionally date with. As a journalist and soon editor of her own tabloid, she'll "smell" the pullizer story as soon as she'll appear and will continuously investigate around the two main characters... " Cuties 37": Yet another version of "mamie tire-joues", there is not many absolutly set details on her appearance (in fact, she could wear all of these appearences during the story !) but nethertheless, I'd like an unique body for the time of the plot... (she could be different in flashback). As you can see, I hesitate between a veeery curvy (and breasty) apperance, while the previous one was flat and almost anorexic... Thats because I still dont choose if she is influenced by beauty canons (anorexics models) or she is beyond thoose stupid considerations (My butt is comfy if I want).
