It continues to be funny how Hori brings little moments back up again and clearly show them as important, while Bones continues to cut out those important parts only for it to come back and bite them in the ass

extremely questionable methodology but i compiled all the dialogue spoken between Shigaraki and Deku starting from when Shigaraki breaks out of AFO’s control in Chapter 379 up to Chapter 412.
(There are chapters where they appear but do not speak. Those are the chapter numbers.)
The takeaway is that Shigaraki is extremely chatty! A lot of it is taunts, but Shigaraki’s also revealing a lot of stuff about his plans and his opinions.
Deku does not seem as interested in returning the conversation, however. Whenever he does speak, it’s less in response to any of the content of Shigaraki’s chatter, and more heroic statements of intent. (The ‘you’re still human’ is the only direct refutation, I think.)
To be fair, his focus is all on surviving Shigaraki’s attacks. Nearly all his internal thoughts are strategy - combining a quirk with this quirk, how exactly he can physically stop Shigaraki. Additionally, before Chapter 410, he was probably too worried about All Might; while for most of Chapter 412, he was asphyxiating. Hard to chat when so much shit is happening.
And you can argue Shigaraki is just Villain monologuing. Deku doesn’t have to pay attention to anything he says - a lot which are, after all, taunts - he doesn’t have to engage with Shigaraki’s dumb rants.
His goal is to save Shigaraki/The Crying Child, and only that - not like talking or asking questions about anything or responding is required for that.

# 8 Mha x Dp
Danny does not know why Clockwork sent him to Japan in a different dimension he was born into a new family that was called Shimura. Danny was the youngest of three, and any mention of Heroes has been banned in the household, Danny has seen how mean their father is to Tenko, every time Tenko would get in trouble he would beat him and no one would help him Danny had tried to help him a couple of times but he has always pushed away and held back to keep him from getting in his father's way.
When Danny was 4 Hana had gotten him and Tenko and bought them to their father's office to show them something it was a picture of their grandma that was a hero. Later that day Danny had been outside playing with Tenko and Mon the dog when their father came out and he was mad, Hana had claimed that Tenko was the one to find and had shown her and Danny, Danny tried to tell the truth but he was not very good at Japanese. Their father pushed Danny away and started to hit Tenko, their father forced them back into the house and told them to leave Tenko outside. Danny was forced into his home for trying to blame Hana, later that day Danny would have his first death.

Do you think Sorahiko would fall over and die if we told him Kotaro and AFO were besties, with Kotaro being so entranced by AFO he took his advice and had another kid to which he proudly presented to AFO?
terrible question. short answer no. that old man is unkillable. unfortunately, the sheer fact that kotarou somehow raised a sacrificial lamb (horrible parallel to what sorahiko must have believed toshinori was during u.a., before all might proved him wrong) will make sorahiko wish he was dead.

Before people scream about “Tenko and Tomura are different people!”
No. They are not.
Tenko is the part of his identity that isn’t full of hate. That’s why it’s Tenko at 5 years old, that’s why it’s Tenko with black hair still. That’s why Tenko’s happy memories surfaced during this fight in Shigaraki’s body. He isn’t full of hate, he has things he loves and cares about, and that’s why AFO can’t get that part of the his identity to disappear.
So basically, AFO was able to absorb his little creation—Shigaraki Tomura. But not the identity that had nothing to do with him—Shimura Tenko.
Also kinda plays into AFO giving Tomura his last name too.
So just my guess—but next time we see Tomura’s body back in control of its rightful owner, it’ll be after someone called him by his real name. Someone who can find out what his real name even is. Only one person comes to mine 🤔

You ever think about how both Tomura and Kurogiri used to be unable to remember their pasts before meeting All For One?
Do you think they would’ve bonded over that when they first met?
You ever think about how both of their pasts revolve around wanting to become heroes?
Do you think that Kurogiri/Shirakumo as he is now would tell Tomura about how he once wanted to be a hero? Even knowing that Tomura as he is now has a hatred for them?
How do you think he would react if Tomura didn’t react to this information with rejection and vitriol?
How would he react if Tomura replied…
…with a tone of voice that was simultaneously resigned and accepting and empathetic to the person that cares for him and understood him in ways barely anyone else could…
…that he once wanted to be a hero too?

If we get the void switching from Tenko's memories to Izuku's and we see his middle school years projected around them, with Izuku already being in his middle school uniform as if being put straight back into these moments and reliving everything... imagine it

let it be known : tenko was doing all in her skill - set to empower the girls at hope's peak. by her girlish mental framework ——— if those males had to be in attendance of the school's tall structure and broad hallways, let them be capable of protecting themselves ... if only for the rare circumstances wherein tenko couldn't be around to protect them herself !
so, she thinks little of it, waiting expectantly in the gymnasium after spending hours upon hours plastering cutely - decorated leaflets of paper promoting her self - defense services around the school. patience, patience ... it's never been something she's excelled at ; though the one ( @despairs-memorial ) she lays eyes on, the one entering the gymnasium, makes it all well - worth it.
❝ wh— maizono - san ? wow ! are you really here for tenko's self - defense class ? ❞
