Okay I literally just posted the WIP for this but I finished it really fast and am too excited not to just post it

This is part of a much larger God of War post that I am working on and will hopefully be up soon! Brisingamen is Freya's necklace in the mythos but is not ever mentioned in the game (understandably, I don't know when/why they would've brought it up) so I drew it and the project I'm working on will explain an idea for its origins! It is not the actual origin story from the mythos since I hate it deeply

All we know about the necklace from the mythos is that it is pretty and has amber beads. So everything here is wholesale out of my ass to fit the Freya from the God of War games, so basically, this version has no mythological basis besides the name and the amber, or you could say it has as much mythological basis as any other depiction of it. Up to you really
