(TeamSunfluff) Avin @ Quetzal: Perhaps I am simply… misunderstanding, but why would their relationship to you make them a target? Humans I could see, but other legendaries and mythicals? Why?

The same way that humans-like ones in Team Rocket, or Team Plasma, or the Drakoboros-the way they steal the partner pokemon of other people... some legendaries and mythicals seek to act the same way, for the exact same reason.

That reason? Vulnerability. You take what matters to them and hold it as if a ransom, and anyone would bend to their rules to make sure what was taken remains safe.

I can already sense that I'm on a very, very thin line.

Admittedly it's something that mostly showed up outta necessity for as long's I remember. But that's fine! It's already been helpful so far, especially when everybody's tense." Shadow seemed at least happy with that, if anything else.

"I wasn't the only one that did the same! 35 was also a big help, he was very good at stopping an argument, even if he didn't always know the context. So was 51 and 76! Thankfully, half of everybody had the sense to not cause problems around the little ones. Every small thing added up!

I will always have to wonder… How would things have been different if they never captured me? Could I have fought harder? Why did they DO this? …but I have no answer. What happened, happened, and I cannot undo what has been done.

Pao looked up and around, focusing on different features of the room's walls.

Pao: "Heh! Yeah, it sure is! Never been in anywhere like it either! I've heard of humans making places like this to live in. Usually the really rich ones with all the money in the world. I do wanna see what I can find here, but I'm holding back for now so I can know where the off-limits areas are. Best to know that first so I don't wander to somewhere I'm not supposed to..!"

He rubbed his chin as he answered the second question.

Pao: "I do like the tiles on the walls and floor. Might try getting some when I go back. I'll bring it up to Wo too, as we're workin' on my shrine together. Maybe it'll make him want to try putting them in his own shrine too. We'll see."

As soon as he finishes, the door on the far right opens.

From the door emerges another Braixen. Smaller this time and more feminine looking. They are carrying a metallic covered tray.

"we weren't expecting guests tonight!" Her voice is feminine. Joyful and cheery.

(@asktheoger) Aya let out a little squeak of delight as she sees Avin. "You're so so cute and small!!!" She exclaimed, crouching down so she could look at them. "Who are you?? You kinda look like this flying hedge thing from my Father's stories!! Do you wanna be friends???"

Kaji puffs out his chest proudly at Aya's fawning. "We ARE those flying hedge things from your father's stories. We are Shaymin, mighty warriors of the sky and protectors of nature's balance across the land."

Avin lightly smacks Kaji on his hedge and rolls their eyes. "Don't mind him, he likes to play into praise. It feeds his ego." Avin offers Aya a wide smile and looks her over quickly. "You're an ogerpon is that correct? Can't say I've seen many of your kind before, so the delight is as much ours is it is yours." Avin bows their head a little. "My name is Avin and this is my p- mm... adventuring partner, Kaji. And I think I can speak for both of us when I say, we'd love to be your friend."
