my roman empire is siblings in the scream movies

the riley’s, dewey an older brother who is full of life and happiness and devotes his life to helping people but can’t help his baby sister when she’s brutally murdered by her boyfriend

sidney is there, sidney his sisters best friend, sidney who has been through the same horrors he has and they find comfort in each other, his surrogate little sister. someone who loved tatum just as much as he did. someone to protect and be a big brother for.

then sidney meets her own brother, looses him the same day. roman hurt her, murdered their mother, wanted to kill sid and the people she loved. her family, her blood, her big brother who she never knew. who she didn’t get to have a childhood with.

sidney has to kill him to survive.

dewey is there though, and their family built on tragedy is a family nonetheless. love and laughter and healing. they grow and live and grow apart, like families do.

sid gets married to kincaid and they have their little girls, dewey gets married to gale and their marriage doesn’t last.

dewey is lost in the world, watching his ex-wife on tv like a ritual and forced out of the job that was his salvation.

a young woman shows up on his doorstep, her father is the man who plotted and helped murder dewey’s little sister.

he lets her in anyway.

her own sister is in danger, sam’s little sister who she left to protect, sam’s little sister who she came back for the moment there was danger.

dewey dies saving the carpenter girls from the same fate he suffered, he knows that they will never be the same, he knows that they will forever be scarred, but they will have each other.

the way he had sidney, the way he couldn’t save tatum.

sam and tara fight. they fight the world, they fight theirselves, they fight the people they love, they survive.

they pick up and start over.

sam is terrified that ghostface will come back, terrified of the way she enjoyed killing, terrified of the way the world perceives her, terrified tara will get hurt again, terrified more than anything that she might be the one to hurt tara. her baby sister.

she holds on tight, she protects and she keeps fighting.

her fears come true, everything that she was afraid of comes back with a vengeance.

she’s not a good person. she’s twisted and finds enjoyment in killing, it scares her, she’s scared it will push tara away. the only family sam has, and she might screw it up again.

tara gives her the go ahead. tara smiles as sam pulverizes wayne. killing him, making him pay for the suffering he and his children caused.

the carpenter sisters are both twisted. they’re both incredibly messed up.

but they have what dewey lost, they have what sidney never had.

they have eachother, to stay on track, to love and laugh and grow.

they will survive.

“Y/N?” tara shouted, in shock that the most dumbest person there is, was ghostface. y/n nodded in joy. “surprising, right?” she mocked.

“why?” sam questioned, feeling hurt. “what’s your motive?”

y/n turned to ethan, looking up at him with doe eyes. “what was our motive again?” she asked.

quinn scoffed, “how pathetic.” she mumbled. ethan pated her head, “oh you sweet dumb thing, we’ll get to that later.” he smiled.

y/n hummed in satisfaction with ethan’s response.

“i don’t get it y/n, i thought we were fr-” y/n raised a finger up to silence tara, she reached into her robe and pulled out a strawberry scented lip gloss.

she applied it, while humming. “are you serious?” quinn groaned, “out of all people, why did we choose her?” she rolled her eyes.

“shut up” ethan growled. he didn’t like it when people talked about his dense of a mind princess.

ethan leaned into y/n’s ear, “princess, we are in the middle of something.” he reminded her.

y/n hummed in response, “oh yea!” she giggled, putting it away, while grabbing the knife beside her.

she slowly walked toward tara, not bothering to listen to what bailey had to say. she twirled tara’s hair into the knife and smelled it.

tara gave her a disgusted face, “bitch! did you use my shampoo?” she shouted.

“SHUT UP!” bailey and quinn yelled in sync, y/n rolled her eyes, continuing to observe tara.

sam and tara looked at ethan’s body in satisfaction, “this was finally over.” sam thought.

“BITCH DID YOU JUST KILL MY BOYFRIEND?” tara groaned, i guess they had forgot about the bimbo, as she wasn’t really much help. she was obviously in the corner fixing her lashes.

“hey y/n is your lipgloss smeared?” tara teased. “w-what!” y/n exclaimed.she reached into her pocket. searching for a mirror

THUD! sam shot y/n from the back. “damn that girl talked too much.” sam groaned. tara looked over at y/n’s body. “sucks i never got to ask her for a makeup routine.”

“her makeup was terrible anyways,” sam started. “THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?” y/n said, sitting up. tara and sam jumped in shock.

mindy, chad, tara, amber, liv, wes, ethan, anika and quinn had the potential to be my favorite group of bastards in existence but they separated them and made some of them murderers.

TATUM RILEY AND ANIKA KAYOKO ARE SUPER UNDERRATED AND UNDERAPPRECIATED!! Excuse me while I go on another little rant but something that's always bothered me in the "Scream" franchise is how Tatum was Sidney's best and only real friend. 2/4 of her friends actually wanted to kill her and Randy didn't seem to be all that close to her until the second movie after they'd gone to hell and back together. Tatum was a real one. She was by Sidney's side through thick and thin and really, truly had her back. She was so protective of her. So for Sidney to just forget about so easily after the first movie is crazy. Especially because she was Dewey's sister and neither of them mourned or mentioned her. It would've been nice to just get a scene where she maybe had a picture of her and Tatum together and she has a little moment looking at it or just her being sad and missing her. Just one little moment to truly mourn and reminisce her would've been nice. Instead all we get is Gale mentioning she was one of the victims from the first killings as Dewey just kind of looks away and Steven mentioning her death to who he thought was Dewey but really it was just Roman. We did get to see that Dewey had her ashes which was nice but she deserved better, to be honest.

Anika was basically the Tatum of "Scream VI." We're introduced to her by her literally saving Tara from someone who was going to take advantage of her. Mindy, who's known Tara longer, didn't even get up from the couch...some friend. When they get attacked by Ghostface in the apartment and when Mindy gets her arm slashed Anika, the second tiniest of them all, has the guts to start throwing hands for her girlfriend...to save her fucking girlfriend she goes up against a killer who she clearly doesn't stand a chance against resulting in her getting gutted! What does Mindy do with that tiny little slash in her arm compared to the gapping gash in Anika's stomach? She sits and watches like the shitty girlfriend she is (I'm sorry to the Mindy fans, I don't hate her but she really pissed me off in this scene.) She then listens to Anika when she tells her to go across the ladder first. If I truly loved someone, I'm not leaving them. She's either going across that ladder first or I'm staying to fight for them. We're either living or dying together. Shitty girlfriend behavior if you ask me. After she dies it's very much so like Tatum but worse. Tatum dies near the end of the movie and Sidney doesn't find her body until a little while later when she running from Ghostface. She doesn't have time to be sad or mourn her. Anika dies halfway through the movie and they have SO much time to be sad and show how her death affected them. Mindy was over it by the time they got to the theater. Tara, who Anika clearly cared for enough to save her at the party, seemed more concerned about Quinn and her father who turned out to be murderers and Chad was more concerned about Mindy which is fair since she didn't really seem to be friends with Chad. The only one who seemed to care at all about her death was Sam which is shocking. On top of all that, she’s the only important person (excluding the killers) that died in the sixth movie. She died so The Core Four could live. �� Which isn’t fair…at least one of them should have died. She. Deserved. Better.

However, besides being the bestest friends anyone could have in this franchise, Tatum and Anika have the most iconic death scenes in the whole franchise so at least they got that.

I'm not a huge fan of her but another character I actually want to mention who got disrespected was Liv Mckenzie. Liv was obviously friends with Tara before Liv and Chad started dating so for Tara and Chad to start dating when their friend/girlfriend died under a year ago and don't even seem to be affected over it in the slightest is honestly so crazy. Chad claimed to have loved her and now he doesn't even care she's dead? No mention? Just move on and date her friend? I get Tara and Chad have known each other longer but that's still fucking crazy to me and even thought I wasn't crazy about this character, she still deserved better.

Scream:What if?

Was discussing with a friend about What What If scenarios would be perfect for Scream. Here is what I'd like to see the most

What if the big fan theory that Dewey was the third killer in Scream was true and showed his true colors in Scream 3, with Jennifer as his accomplice(in this version Jennifer is someone Gale fucked over to get the Woodsboro reporter gig) and Dewey's motive is that he was the town's joke and he helped Billy and Stu so he could be seen as the hero and he killed Tatum because he couldn't stand being mocked by her and truly he had an obsessive love with SIdney and wanted her all to himself.

What if Tatum lived. What I see happening is, she gets out of the garage just before she dies a horrible death. She lost some blood, so she's woozy. She runs into Dewey and Gale. "Dewey, help" So I could foresee Dewey and Gale arriving at the party sooner and stopping Billy and Stu before things escalate to the way they do. Maybe they arrest Stu and kill Billy. Tatum lives and gets to appear in Scream 2. She, Sidney and Hallie are besties. I could see Tatum being apart of that Sorority house trying to recruit SIdney and convincing Sid to join. Tatum is very wary around Derek. But also Mickey. Mickey would kill Tatum. I can't see her surviving past 2.

What if Angelina was the second killer in Scream 3. Cutting this plotline could've fixed SO MANY things. The script also delves further into the original plan, showing she was intended to be a former classmate of Sidney from Woodsboro, originally named Angie Crick. Her motivation was stated as idolizing Sidney and wanting her fame and attention, thus taking on the role of Sidney in the third Stab film. So, proto-Jill. But I would've made her obsessed with Sidney. Make her a psycho stalker. Sending her creepy letters before she was allowed to call her as Ghostface. She wants the fame sure, but she wants to become Sidney, even if it means killing Sidney and Roman just to make it out alive.

What if Williamson's original Scream 3 happened

What if the planned Jill Scream 5 movie happened. The gist is the hospital wasn't supposed to be where the movie ended. Jill would've gotten away with it and Sidney would've been in a coma and everyone would believe in the lie that Jill crafted. Jill would be in college and her life is turned upside down. Ghostface has returned and Ghostface plans to reveal her dark secret and ruin her life. That's what we know about the original plan. Here's my idea for what it could've been. My pitch for who this Ghostface could've been? Kirby. Kirby wouldn't kill anyone. It would be like the Scream 3 script where no one was killed, they were all in on it to expose Jill and Kirby's partner? SIDNEY

What if Judy and Wes Hicks were the killers in Scream 5

The many deaths of Sidney Prescott. Basically all the times Sidney could've died. Death by the hands of Billy or Stu, by Mickey's hand, Nancy Loomis having her revenge, Roman's revenge or Jill getting away with it, Richie succeeding and finishing his movie or the Kirsch family killing everyone in New York and hunting down SIdney and killing her and her family like they threatened in the original script

What if Sidney appeared in Scream 6. Sidney had bits and pieces in the original script. A conversation with Gale and Bailey's plans on what he wanted to do to Sidney. So if Sidney did appear, I think Sidney would've came to the rescue and wound Bailey while Sam finishes the job. That's the best I could come up with

What if Tara and Amber were Ghostfaces and girlfriends. Tara's motive would be Sam left her. Her father left her. Her mother is a drunken whore and Wes was obsessed with her and the only guy she liked was stolen from her. Her life was shit and it started the moment that Sam left her. Amber was Tara's girlfriend and helped Tara with her revenge on Sam, her friends and the whole shitty hand life dealt her. But most importantly Tara just wanted Sam's love and to be apart of her life and if becoming a killer is the only way she can be close to Billy Loomis' daughter, so be it.

What if Nancy raised Sam

What if VInce Schneider was the killer instead of Richie?

What if Sidney was the killer. What if Sidney was tired of her mom being the town pariah and took matters into her own hands. She finds Maureen already dying due to her wounds at the hands of Billy. But Sidney finishes the job. When Billy thinks he's about to kill SIdney, she reveals the truth and all he can do is smile. "We're like Mickey and Mallory" When Gale thinks she's saving Sidney, Sidney kills her and then kills Stu and paints him as the killer. Billy and Sidney get away with it. Sidney kills Christina and they raise Sam together.

What if Stu is really alive and the mastermind behind the new trilogy trilogy. Okay I don't buy into this shit, but let's say for arguement sake. Stu survived. He was taken to prison and was about to be executed, only one day, another Ghostface killing spree happens and Stu pulls a Ted Bundy and decides to help because he was Ghostface and would help catch them. This goes on to Ghostfaces to ordinary murderers. And one day. Stu gets out. He develops a masterplan. Indoctrinate today's youth and turn them into a Ghostface cult. Richie would be his figurehead while he manipulates from the shadows. However one day he just HAS to act. It's Stu who kills Dewey. "It's been an honor." He decides to let Richie's family have some fun. But Scream 7 is where Stu reveals himself and his cult. His partner in this? His sister Leslie, Leslie is only in it to avenge her son, whom she blames Sam and Tara for Amber's actions. Making coordinated attacks to kill those close to the Core 4, Gale, Kirby and Sidney. When Sidney is out in the open, that's when Stu will strike.
