TANJIROU You were hanging your newly washed sheets when Tanjirou surprised you with a back hug. You were both giggling as he peppered kisses on your cheek. He squeezed you tight which had the both of you stumbling on the grass.

You ended up falling on top of him as you laughed and giggled like school kids.

Tanjirou sat up and held you in his arms, so you were seated on his lap. His arms tightened around your waist.

"Welcome home, love." You greeted.

"Yes, I'm so glad to be home." He snuggled against you, a smile forming on his face as he nuzzled his nose on the crook of your neck, breathing in the comfort and warmth of your presence, of his home.

INOSUKE He was getting bored with you minding your own business not paying him the attention due to him. He kept groaning and grunting but it didn't seem to have any effect.

"Hey woman!" Inosuke finally called out straight. "Know your place." He demanded and you came back at him with a questioning look.

He caught you by surprise and pulled you by the wrist. Inosuke never failed to take you aback all the time. Now, your heart raced fast as you were met by his handsome face and his sturdy built caged you protectively. "Here is what I mean."

ZENITSU "Y/N-chan! Look what I got you! When I passed by them I immediately remembered you." He cheerfully announced as soon as he arrived home, however you were gloomily looking at the window.

Zenitsu gulped hard. Have you already woken up and decided that he's no match for someone as wonderful as you are.

"What's this? Why is my Y/N-chan sad?" He asked, hugging you

"Oh, Zenitsu-kun. You're finally here. Don't worry...I guess it's just the weather." You answered but he noticed that you're just lightening things up.

He sat the both of you down, positioning you on his lap. Reflexively, you rested your head against his chest. There, you heard him humming your favorite song in a sweet melody only he could do. There's no way Agatsuma Zenitsu was undeserving of you.

KYOJURO The smile on his face was merely just facade by now. Kyojuro just arrived home after a tiring day and you're just...there doing chores not paying him any attention.

It's not that Rengoku Kyojuro was a clingy boi. Oh no, in fact, he yeah he could be. This noble man had a tendency to enjoy your presence a little too much, because if it's Kyojuro time, it means it's Kyojuro time.

He told you the recent adventure he just had but you were just humming in response. That's why when you passed by to sweep the floor on the very area where he was positioned, he grabbed you by the waist with one arm, sitting you on his lap.

"Kyo! What're you doing? I'm cleaning."

He laughed and held you more firmly. "How about you go back to doing that after I have you all by myself?"

You playfully swatted him and he just chuckled. He ended up winning though.

GIYUU You were both quietly seated at the engawa watching the day turn into night. Your face was highlighted by the 6 o'clock shadow, a mixture of pink, purple and orange danced well with your features and Giyuu couldn't help but marvel at how lovely you were.

He just couldn't simply believe that you were his. Somehow, he felt like he needed proof, a tangible proof that you were not just a mere bubble that could burst into thin air anytime.

Without saying a word, he wrapped an arm around the middle of your frame and pulled you close to him. "Giyuu-" you yelped as he seated you on his lap, cradling you so warmly in his arms like a precious baby. His precious one he wanted to protect with all his life. His forehead touched yours as his eyes closed just nuzzling your nose against his. "Let's stay like this, Y/N." Forever.

SANEMI Nobody could paint how livid he was. What the hell was this? Today was supposed to be a good day for the both of you but you ended up bickering over a very small and petty thing. Now, you're threatening him that you'd rather spend the day with your friends.

"I hope you enjoy yourself here. I'm out, Nemi."

Are you kidding him? Sharply, he grasped your wrist and pulled you to his lap. You were surprised to be face to face with him like this. So close. You could feel his breathing against your face.

"Geez," he let out, avoiding your gaze. "I didn't mean what I said. Okay?" His cheeks were all red and he mumbled with a pouty face, "Just stay here with me and let me make it up to you." You could totally feel him melting from embarrassment.

Help,I'm trying to write fics for Mist Pillar Yuichiro AU somewhat inspired by your heacanons. Currently writing one based on Yui helping Tanjiro train against the dummy, but I'm stuck on what Tan exactly says to Yui that helps him find his reason for fighting against Gyokko. All I'm kinda firm on is Yui's issues relates to his guilt over his family and his inability to properly mourn because of it. If all this makes any sense??? Sorry for dropping this out of the blue.

Anyways!

In canon Tanjirou tells Muichirou:

“Helping other people also ends up being beneficial for you at the end of the day.” (Chapter. 106 page 3)

When Mui gets blasted away from where Hantengu originally attacked and lands in the forest area he runs into Kotetsu. He was originally going to leave him alone.

In the following chapter where this takes place the words Tanjirou said to him briefly flash in his mind and he decides to stay and help.

Now, If you’re really firm on Yui’s issues being with his family. You could still use the same line from canon but use it for Yui instead.

Since Tanjirou said the line for Muichirou it helped him properly regain his memories by correlating with his dad who apparently also had said the same thing before.

But! Yui has his memories!

If you use that line still you can make it it fit for Yui by pushing the increase guilt he has over his family.

Yui could be running past kotetsu ( and we all know this boy would’ve left kotetsu) but the flashing of the words Tan said Can increase the pain and guilt he has for his family and make him go back to help.

FIRST TIME INITIATING A HAND HOLD w/ KNY BOYS

TANJIROU

He always held your hand that it’s almost instinctive for him to do so. However, you noticed that it was always him to be the first one and now you mustered the courage to initiate. You held his hand, not facing him because you’re just plain embarrassed. He immediately jumped on his skin as his cheeks turned crimson. Is this even true? Y/N- Y/N is holding my hand? He gulped hard and slowly turned his head to your direction and noticed the same tint of red on your face. Gosh! He was just super happy and his head was full of ramblings he’s too all over the place to say.

ZENITSU

You were still blushing when you first held his hand- “Y-Y/N-chan? Are you okay? Is there anything that’s bothering you?” “U-Uh, I-…That’s- I just want to hold your hand, Zenitsu-kun.” He immediately combusted. “What!? Y/N-chan- You! You wanna hold my hand?! Oh no! Please just hold it! Hold it for as long as you want it’s all yours!”

INOSUKE

When you slid your hand into his, he just looked at your linked hands. “Wha-What’s this?” You blushed. “I…I just want to hold your hand.” “Huh?” He was just baffled for a while until he got that knotty and fluffy feeling churning in his stomach. He didn’t know why it made him feel that way but he surely knew that he wanted that kind of feeling so you felt him squeeze your hand a little tighter as a bright grin etched on his face.

KYOJURO

This man and all the feels. It never fades with him that’s why you found it too overwhelming to even initiate hand hold, but this time, you found the courage and do so. His eyes widened for a brief moment until he gave out that low chuckle. Damn. Though you badly wanted to check his reaction, you were too shy to look at him. However, your curiosity were soon replaced with a giddy feeling when his thumb started rubbing the back of your hand.

GIYUU

You never held hands. Clearly, he had no idea whatsoever. But you wanted to. You wanted to hold his hand like normal couples do so badly. The moment that the back of your hands touched, your breath hitched. Opportunity! With your cheeks flushed, you slid your hand into his. You were so scared that he might question you, but he didn’t. Instead, he laced your fingers together, a faint smile on his face as you both walked in silence.

SANEMI

The way he held your hand was as if it was his duty or something. It was always firm as if not wanting you to get away, but somehow you wanted to be the first one to do so. That’s why while you were walking side by side, you beat him to reaching for your hand and held his instead. His face flushed but he covered it with a very constipated expression. You wondered how he felt about that or if he even noticed at all. However, it didn’t take you long enough to know when he brought your joined hands right through his chest just so he could get you close.

TANJIROU It was all his fault. He wasn't fast enough to cover you with his body and now you're gravely injured and bleeding. "Y/N! Y/N! No, no! Please, no!" Tears fell from his eyes as he carried you screaming for whatever help he can get. He had faith in you. You could endure this! We made a promise with each other, right? You're going through all this 'til the end. He swore that he'd make you smile everyday with your life. Just be safe, please.

ZENITSU As his eyes opened, he noticed that you were laying on the pool of blood. Your blood. "Y/N-chan?" He couldn't believe what he's seeing. This is impossible! "Y/N-chan! Pease tell me...You're awake, right? You're gonna be alright?" He was crying when he picked you up, swallowing on the percentage of you surviving the attack you received. "Please, Y/N-chan! I'm just here. I love you. Don't give up."

INOSUKE "Hey, Y/N! Y/N!" You're still not waking up. He appeared angry but he's just totally frustrated. "Hey don't pull this joke on me! You"re stronger than this. Wake up, Y/N!" For the very few times, he got your name this time around. "Don't leave me like this, Y/N! You said we're going to eat barbecue this weekend." He carried you on his back. "If you wake up, I'm gonna let you have more than half. You're gonna wake up, okay? I'm telling you so!" He was telling that with all vigor but his eyes were welling up uncontrollably with the little chance you've had left.

KYOJURO "Help is here, Y/N. It'll be alright." He still beamed you that sunny smile though you could hardly open your eyes. He's not letting go of your hand as you were being carried by the kakushi. "I'm just right here, so just stay strong okay?" He swallowed his fear. He knew this kind of injury was fatal and only few could survive and it hurt him so much that it had to be you. "I'll take you on a date and we'll eat in that restaurant you want to try. We'll watch the leaves fall this coming autumn and- and I'll give you your favorite flowers. So just hold on, okay?" There's gentleness in his voice that hid the budding ache he had in his heart.

GIYUU Too late. He was too late. When he arrived, you were already unconscious. Just how useless could he be. "Y/N," he approached you yet you were not responding. He carried you on his back. Your faint breathing giving him the least assurance of the what chances you have to be alive. Why did this happen to you? It should be him. It should be him in this situation. He was running fast and so were his tears down his eyes. Useless. He's useless. He always failed in protecting the ones he loved the most and now he had also failed you.

SANEMI "Idiot, why did you have to do that?" He growled holding your hand against his face. "Don't you ever think of holding your breath!" He hissed. He already did everything he could to stop your bleeding, but it was of no avail. He already called for help and was advised to stay there. "God damn it! Can they be any faster? Shit, Y/N! Don't you ever close your eyes on me!" He's sworn you won't see him cry but his tears were so close from falling right now. He couldn't afford to lose you. He couldn't afford to lose anymore. He won't forgive himself if he failed to protect you.

TANJIROU —surprise dinner date in which he cooked for you. warm hugs even in public, not even aware you're in public sometimes when he kisses you. picnics and romantic boat ride in a park lake under the starry sky. love quotes he's found from google. k-dramas in bed every weekend where you both cry at angsty scenes while eating your favorite snacks. never letting go of your hand.

INOSUKE —food trip and food eating challenges! paint ball, laser tag and go-kart dates. loudly laughing at your inside jokes. watching sports at a stadium. anything competitive, really. but down for some sweet stuff too. relentlessly kisses you in public. holding hands while walking, but you're bf too pretty. zoo and museum of natural history dates. cooking and baking together where he always munches on the ingredients before you can even get to finish the meal. probably, late on your date ngl.

ZENITSU —park dates where you both take lots of selfies, takes of pictures of you too like you're his model, moments of him just getting stupefied whenever you tell him stories, arcade and amusement park date where you ride even the kiddiest rides and you stroll the vicinity munching on gummy candies because you're both too cute for this world, matching animal ear headbands, occasional cheek kisses and playful tickling

KYOJURO —old school type of romance, a date that makes you feel like you're in the 70s, museum and art gallery dates and takes you to a fancy dinner afterwards. pulls the chair for you energy, kisses the back of your hand, slow dances you on when there's less people along the street, compliments you endlessly, vintage music store where you share your favorite songs, long slow kisses, hand at the small of your back while walking

GIYUU —arcade dates but he gets funnily competitive against you, climbing at the rooftop as you watch the lights late at night as you share earphones, roaming the city talking about random things as your hands are entwined in each other's—his thumb rubbing your knuckles soothingly, awkward attempts to kiss you, him whispering in your ear instead of talking properly but it's hella' sweet

SANEMI —random midnight road trip, occasionally kisses the top of your head as he got you all hooked with his arm, him bringing your clasped hands to his lips just to kiss the back of your hand, beach dates where he chases you across the shore because you teased him for blushing, taking ugly photos of each other, accidentally making out bc you both thought nobody's looking
