The boss is back

Kaum zu glauben, über ein Jahr später sitze ich doch tatsächlich wieder in meinem geliebten Bulli 💖💖💖 und darf erstmal ein ganz großes Dankeschön loswerden.

Unterboden nach Trockeneis-Kur manuell vom Unterbodenschutz befreit

Unterboden in weiß lackiert

B-Säule, Wagenheberaufnahme und Querträger neu geschweißt

partielle Lackierungen in Spezialwagenfarbe (Wörthseeblau)

diverse Motoroptimierungen (vom Absperrventil, bis zur Ventileinstellung)

Optimierung der Elektrik in vielen Bereichen (von Hupe bis Trennrelais für die 2. Lithium-Batterie)

Vorbereitung für Solar

Feinjustierung von Motorlauf und Verbrauch

TÜV und Eintragungen von einigen Frisierungen der letzten Jahre

Funktionsprüfung und Anpassung der Heizanlage

Stabi für die Vorderachse

WHILE FOR THE MOST PART BILLY HAD STOPPED WONDERING, there were still times that he couldn’t help asking himself how they hell did he end up in such situation ? Exactly what was happening in that moment, as the first light of the morning filtered through the windows of the van, the warmth of Steve’s back pressed against his side almost a constant in the last couple of weeks. Strange how life seemed to work, huh ? Be Billy hadn’t been able to dwell on his thoughts for too long before he felt the other man move, head turning towards him, and ocean hues met the sleepy ones of the other. But before he could speak a kiss was pressed against his mouth, and Billy found himself chuckling against Steve’s lips. ❝ Someone woke up in a good mood, hm ? ❞ A teasing murmur.

Billy stretched the arm that Steve had been sleeping on, flexing it a couple of times, christ, he really should get him to stop sleeping like that, but that could wait, Billy reached over, fingers tangling in unruly dark hair. See, that was what he was talking about, how did he end up sharing such cramped space to sleep with not just Steve, but Eddie too.

The touch was enough for Eddie to stir up, despite things being better, sleep was still something he struggled with, and an annoyed huff left his mouth before he batted the hand away. Mere moments later Eddie was turning onto his side, an arm sliding around Steve’s middle, ❝ Always hogging all the attention, Hargrove. ❞ A playful bite on Steve’s shoulder.

Oh, if a smirk didn’t grace Eddie’s features at hearing the annoyed groan coming from Billy when he felt Steve turning around once more. The hold he had on Steve tightening ever so slightly, and Eddie’s expression only softened when their mouths met in a rather gentle kiss.

Volkswagen Microbus T2b, 1971. On display in a local shopping mall in Invercargill, New Zealand. An immaculate VW van though it’s minus windows and has been converted for display purposes. The low mounted front indicators and perforated wheels identify it was a 1971 model which would have been imported FBU from Germany.
