I’m not sure if it’s just a “first world problem” it’s just more apparent in the “first world” I believe depression comes from from different sources for different people in different ways. Some people are born with a sad soul, some are in a way “groomed” to develop a depressive personality disorder and with others we may never understand how it came to be. I know for myself and others I’ve encountered and talked with we fit under what I refer to as “grooming. Spending our whole lives hearing negative messages of how we will never measure up in anything, always wrong,worthless easily manipulated this can lead to believing it and open to developing depressive mindsets. It’s real and it’s everywhere not just in the “first world” just more apperent and possibly more widespread than other countries. But I’ve been told that I’m wrong more than once about how I see/feel things so what do I really know about it to offer my take on the subject? Support young generation.
