I woke up today really excited because for some reason, my brain decided that there was going to be an animated adaptation/expansion of Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade as the next DC cartoon series.

Alas... and it looked really good too...

#Superman #Supergirl #Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade #it had a very Amphibia/the Owl House feel to it and that got me pretty amped up to say the least #details are slipping from me but I remember the scene in the dark when they're looking for Streaky was animated and sufficiently spooky #also an additional scene where Kara is in costume and a getaway car crashes into her while she's distracted mid-conversation w/Superman #it seemed to want to embrace the same sort of light yet reminiscent of IZ style humor that I remember from it #really disappointed that I imagined the whole thing tbh I love that comic
