see the issue comes when you realize, you as a player, don't have a "character" that's all your own

there's aether/lumine yeah.. but bc the game's real now, they're their own people, and you didn't wake up to find yourself as a blonde twin...

the closest you can describe your form as is .. like a seelie?

or like the way ghosts look in game?

but a lot more "starry"

like your specterlike, but you look like you got filled up with stars and the milky way, maybe a reference of you being from another universe/world? (aether/lumine/dainsleif/khaenriah star symbol reference secret thEORY-)

these kinda thoughts plague your first few days of irl genshin impact playing

a rishabold tiger? yep.

a sumpter beast? kinda slow and heavy feeling but yeah.

...you also try a ruin machine LOL

by far, the fungi and ruin machines are the best to possess, mostly because you can remain upright with those

(tho u did find some type of flying monkey that wasnt in game, but its like,, a real world and jungle now so that makes sense there'd be more complexity + stuff)

you do eventually think you should try and possess a person at this point... but ur kinda nervous 👉👈

its ur first time doin this okay nobody explained the basics to you youve been winging for a week now!

will your mind be replaced with theirs? it hasn't been so far with the creatures/bots

and as far as you can tell, they kinda just-

forget what happened or "wake up" after you possess them

(the tiger you were for a day looked confused as hell when it realized that there was a new pile of fruit next to it when it "woke up", it was your way of saying thank you to the animals of the jungle, u left them little piles of food you collected running around as them)

so THEORHETICALLY-

you should be good to go and possess a random poor eremite

... you figure you want to possess something human-like eventually even if you get a puppet body like wanderer/raiden so...

here goes nothing...

so it's been 2 weeks since you've been forcefully yanked into teyvat, and by the second week, you were trying to possess eremites

which! worked out!

mostly..!

you kinda convinced the entirety of two eremite camps that a certain part one of sumeru's forests is hella haunted bc ppl keep "blacking out" and doing things they don't remember doing, yknow... like possesssion LMAO

they kinda ran off to escape you but, hey!

experiment #2: people possession, success!!

now you were kinda convinced of this when you realized no matter the angle the animals and machines of sumeru didnt react to you getting super close to them (you dont have to touch something to posses it, just look at it really, but you wanted to test limits, so you walked up to sumpter beasts and fungi and ruin machines)

but no one can see you.

you don't have a "character" most of the time, you can float and glide around the ground like scaramouche lol

you cant touch stuff bc of this, you cant smell stuff (u saw the eremites campfires & couldnt smell the smoke until you were them)

you cant eat stuff w/o a body, so.. it makes sense that the eremites and passing merchants, cant see you when you float around, trying to reorient yourself after 2 weeks of experimenting

:( ur only a lil sad about it... but mostly not bc lol u got possession powers so trade off u guess

the first time you see a vision-bearer you literally scream

ur so lucky u cant be seen or heard

bc Collei would have def screamed back lol

needless to say u stalk the forest ranger- ALL DAY.

Collei goes on patrol around the woods? you go on a patrol.

collei goes to visit other forest rangers? you "visit" other forest rangers at base (lol u def possess a guy who was asleep on a bench nearby & wake up to go talk to Collei "in-person", poor guy was so worried he sleep walked/talked so hard he went to see Tighnari an hour later lmao)

welp, you decide this is your life now, follow Collei everywhere, talk one-sided to Collei until you can possess a forest ranger w/o it being suspicious (dont wanna turn the poor rangers into the terrified eremites from a week or two ago...)

then, after you get the courage and erase the paranoia that tighnari can just... somehow hear your ghostly bullshit-

u do the same to Tighnari (then Cyno when he visits! no u didnt squeal, so what, nobody can hear you- )

Tighnari begins to get suspicious about 3 weeks into this routine.

he's been starting to collect and start a file on all the rangers or nearby villagers that've started randomly "blacking out/sleep walking" in the evenings usually

(u possess as close to nighttime as u can so it seems like sleepwalking)

So when Cyno comes back from a mission gone wrong,

having nearly been decapitated by a rogue flying ruin machine, only to black out and come to standing calmly 10 feet further than he remembered being 1 minute ago...

Tighnari's suspicions are confirmed, and he launches into researching this phenomenon.

his first thought is something like the aranara, but that doesn't account for the effect this thing is having on people

after all, what little forest spirit is strong enough to-

-control humans??

Tighnari begins to get the sense he's in over his head after he finds himself pushed into going into Sumeru City in order to collect more library books or ask around if the blackouts have spread to the city people

he answer is negative, on both accounts.

and he spends about one half of the day walking around, and the other reading up all he can on mythical creatures or ailments

Tighnari gives up for the day, and as he makes his way back to Ghandarvaville, he almost gets ambushed by some particularly nasty muggers

...and then he wakes up 20 feet away, his denro vision thrumming with power, full of worry and fondness for himself??, (just like Cyno said he felt happen to him..)

...Tighnari decides he needs reinforcements.

So, ppl are mad the Traveler lost to Arlecchino...

The Traveler bodied Childe and Signora in simple 1 V 1 fights. Even when their opponents got to use power-ups, the Traveler remained the same.

Scaramouche, when by himself and not capitalizing off of Tatarigami in the atmosphere, is not a threat to the Traveler despite what he thinks. The people was the most threat to were Fatui grunts and random civilians without Visions.

People need to be honest about his Boss Fight. It was cool and flashy, and also lame. When ppl try hyping him up as soooo dangerous because the Traveler failed to defeat him in a dream 168 times, they conveniently ignore how his ass got so easily tricked into a dream in the first place. They ignore a lot about his Boss Fight actually.

1.) His own body was insufficient for 'godhood'. He needed to rely on a group of 'feeble humans' to create a better puppet body for one. He couldn't do it.

2.) That larger puppet body was capable of channeling multiple elements, which he was not shown to be capable of at all in any of the times he showed up prior to that. Signora even said he only had his rank because he could take more pain and suffering than most and was effectively impossible to kill/destroy.

3.) The puppet body was powered by a Gnosis, which was not his and was not original intended for his use specifically. The Gnosis was used to amplify the larger puppet's elemental abilities.

4.) He was hooked up to that larger puppet for months and had the scholars funneling all kinds of canned knowledge into his vessel to make a new god. None of that information was learned by himself. He needed humans to hook him up to a system they created and needed them to inject it into his mind for him. He did none of that work.

5.) The Shouki no Kami was a result of the efforts of a bunch of humans. All he did was sit there and let them shove tubes in his back. It was probably painful but becoming a 'god' was through barely any personal effort of his own. It was other people doing all the work.

6.) The people of Sumeru City were forced into a 168-day Samsara to collect knowledge, wisdom, and jnana energy for the larger puppet body. Dragging the Traveler for needing all 168 versions of the dream fight to be in their mind and having 1K ppl crowd-source a solution for the official fight, isn't it. Scaramouche needed 168 days of content from those same 1K people to help power his fancy mech suit in the first place.

The Traveler defeating him makes complete sense. Dude somehow lost even with a Gnosis in his possession and the Traveler didn't have a Gnosis to use. The Traveler wasn't even using all the Elements they have access to. Or a better weapon.

Arlecchino has her Blood Fire Curse, a Pyro Vision, and a Pyro Delusion all going at once. She is way more powerful than Childe, Signora, and base Scaramouche all put together. Her curse thing gives her power we don't even understand. We cannot properly evaluate her true threat level because we don't know what it does, or how it works.

The other three were predictable in battle once the Traveler got used to them. That's cuz the power sources make enough sense. Vision = primitive Gnosis that grants specific Elemental Power. Delusion = Vision Wannabe + negative health effects. Gnosis = Elemental Power Amplifier for gods. But the Blood Fire Curse thing? That's new. There's nothing like it anywhere else for the Traveler to learn about it or compare it to.

Also, the Traveler was not going all out because Arlecchino was not going all out either. The Traveler knew that she was testing her children and also knew the fight wasn't really theirs. She had already planned for the fight to happen and wanted the Traveler to protect the children if the time came, but it was not really their fight because they were not enemies. That's why Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet's attacks all appear during the battle and why they're talking the whole time. This was their fight with the Traveler as a back-up.

The children had to show a sufficient level of skill and improvement for Arlecchino to change the punishment they were due, but she was the one to choose when the demonstration ended. The Traveler was the only one still standing by the end, and Arlecchino used her curse to make eye contact and Tsukuyomi them and then manipulated their body into being unable to move(bloodbending???) to defend themself while she came at them.

How do you fight what you do not know? The twins got bodied by the Sustainer... because they didn't know what her powers were or what they were capable of. If they went into that battle with all the knowledge already, it probably would have ended very differently. That's just how it goes. That's why everyone wonders what the rematch will be like, especially with all the Elements and that weird golden power on the Traveler's side.

Ranks actually matter for the Harbingers. Arlecchino being #4 means she's very high up there. The Traveler has defeated every Harbinger Boss up until now and it's actually good that they didn't win this one. Even if it wasn't a real fight on their behalf, they got a good look into what the highest-ranking Harbingers are capable of. And that will serve as a lesson. She was only #4, could do all of that shit, and there are still 3 people above her.

This served as a good lesson on the dangers of hubris imo. If the Traveler beat her with all that shit she did while the Traveler wasn't trying their best, I'd be pissed.

Sethos is so likable. I love him so much and I hope Cyno will take his arms and show him around Sumeru's city (even if he already saw it,, but now it is with company), drinking coffee with friends, and show what friendship is. I hope Sethos will finally find his answer as Cyno did !

I am sure Sethos knew Cyno's existence, and he believes only him would understand him. But when he saw him bringing friends, he was wondering if they live in the same world. Akademiya changed after all, it became more peaceful ! But what if he is curious about Cyno's world ? How someone similar of him could be so different ?? What if Sethos always felt lonely ? (Man is enthousiastic and extrovert, but I believe people tend more to worship him, and his grandpa had expectation.. so he doesn't know what is a genuine friendship is)

That's why when Cyno Tighnari and Traveler stayed w Sethos after his grandpa passed, he slowly started understand what friendship looks like (TY CYNO)

I need to see more interaction between them I AM SO HYPE TO HAVE SETHOS AND LEARN MORE ABOUt HIM !!!

I had really high hopes for Sumeru. Bc it's based on the where I'm from(south east Asia) so I was really hyped up to see what the devs would do. Like the inazuma characters were gorgeous, so I was optimistic on the most part.

the thing that’s probably gotten me the most hyped about fontaine is how their legal system works!! how much power or influence can people with high positions in the court hold in their society (like how sumeru places more respect and importance on intellect, and the power goes to the leaders of the akademiya/darshans)? and what does focalors even do during cases?? how much influence do her decisions hold? did they begin to have less weighting on the final verdict after she started(?) seeking thrills rather than fair trials? and not to mention the social divide between the people living above ground compared to the underground aaaaaa

1. Jing Yuan - Honkai Star Rail

oh i have so much brainrot over this silly man, hes tragic, far too pretty and has a lion for a pet (also bc the whole of the english dub cast for hsr is Top Tier)

a rare tv series addition lol, shes also tragic but her character is so beautifully written, her actress is amazing, and her relationship with Kai was so beautifully queer and amazing (and im pissed theyve left i want them back)

i have so many feelings about Hope, from her experiences with grief, as well as how powerful she is, how kind, how guarded, etc, but her actress killed her role and i love her character to pieces (also, hizzie shouldve happened, we deserved it)

his backstory is sad, plus the whole thing you discover in the manga from the past makes him even more tragic, he also has a big cat as a pet (kinda) and hes awesome

1. favorite new fandoms of the year: I got into bnha this year and, fair warning, it became quite the obsession so a lot of my answers are related to this 😅

2. favorite new ships since this year: bakudeku 🧡💚 they are everything to me

4. favorite movie of the year: it didn't come out this year, but I watched heroes rising for the first time this year and it was really something

Sumeru: King Deshret and the 3 Magi

where to fuckin start with this one

Okay, I liked that we opened this act on the decision to psychologically torment Setaria into working with us because we needed an In with the Akademiya by pretending to be the envoys of King Deshret... only for it to turn out that Cyno, an In with the Akademiya, exiled himself (off-screen) because he couldn’t agree with what they were doing (which he discovered off-screen). I wonder. If we could have. Connected these things more efficiently. Somehow.

On that note, Genshin really wants us to know Cyno is scary, but never actually shows him doing anything particularly intimidating besides crossing his arms menacingly and smacking swords with Alhaitham. It also wants us to know what a big deal it is that he left the Akademiya. If Cyno had been, say, an enemy in 3.0 that turned his back on the Akademiya to work with us in 3.1, that might have worked better. 

Also, we psychologically tormented Setaria??? 

How did the traveller know Dottore was No. 2 of the Fatui Harbingers. Did they read the floating text. Is that an actual thing. Is that how they also know who ~the Balladeer is.

Also, if Nahida is going to heroically sacrifice herself so we can escape brainwashed citizens, at least make them attack us? They were just yelling how cool we were, christ. 

I have a dream. And that dream is that one day... Scaramouche’s lore and motivations will be exposited when the actual Scaramouche is in a 50metre radius of the Traveller. I guess it’s 2% better than usual that Scaramouche voice acted it this time, but “inhaled hallucination smoke and got Balladeer lore” is the worst way we’ve gotten it so far.

I also like the flashback characters that had physical resemblances to Kazuha. I also like that we’re still hyping the Scaramouche/Kazuha connection when they’ve never met. 

Also you need to understand I don’t give a shit. I don’t know Scaramouche. I’ve barely met him. I think he’s been on-screen for a collective 3 minutes total. The patchwork god deal is conceptually very cool, but the execution is absolute dogshit. Hopefully Dottore will be handled better (I’m a lot more interested in him than the others) but dear god the fatui’s showcase up until this point has been abysmal.  

Alhaitham is actually being minutely shady now, and the fact that he’s turned into a massive bitch between patches (+his arguments with Cyno) make him a more enjoyable character to me. 

Candace on the other hand felt very tacked on. I think her only real notable contribution was her telling off the Eremites that kidnapped the Mad Scholars for not thinking of the consequences of their actions... which. Well. Bad Rebels Rebelled The Wrong Way Against An Oppressive Regime And Now They’re The Bad Guys sure is a trope that exists, don’t it. 

Whatever Candace and Cyno’s connections to King Deshret were probably should’ve at least been mentioned here. Cyno staring meaningfully up at the priest’s grave after the flashback... I would like to know the significance of them both having the Anubis Headdress? Without reading The Lore? 

in absence of more information i choose to believe cyno’s thought process was ‘aww shit yeah that guy had SUCH a bitchin hat’

Fontaine Lore & Plot Headcanons

Before Genshin 4.0 Update drops, I just want to drop all my thoughts right now because I'm extremely hyped for Fontaine AND I NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I know Tuesdays are for Fontaine history, so I will also dabble on what we know so far. pun intended So here goes!

Knowing that the prophecy of Fontaine becoming submerged to the waters, Focalors developed a personality that will make her people hate her, possibly in an effort to drive them away from the inevitable future that lies ahead. Opposite to the previous Hydro Archon's ambition of uniting everyone. And the reason why she has to act this way is because "the divine" may be closely watching Fontaine, and cannot go against the world's laws. Hence, her liking to "twists" in the trial performances of the court, as if she herself wants to experience a plot twist on her country's fate. Perhaps, if we put it in analogy, Celestia is to Focalors, as Fontaine's fate is to the trials.

The streets are gray, the fine drizzle like mist. If you don't understand the tricks, just sit back and enjoy the show. But if the farce is all facade, why cry for no reason?

2. Lyney, Lynnette, and Freminet are not biological siblings, but are/were orphans from the House of Hearth. Their trial probably involves stealing information or a tangible object, but their real mission from Arlecchino is to steal the hydro gnosis.

Lyney's job is to engage with the audience of Fontaine while Lynette stages her act and once she disappears from the audience, she will probably go into the shadows to steal. I'm just not sure what Freminet's mission related to diving underwater or if that is separate from his actual mission.

Although they work for the fatui, at some point, they choose to side with the Traveller and try to hoodwink Arlecchino but she won't be fooled. After all, she is a master of schemes herself.

3. It hasn't rained in Fontaine since the cataclysm. The thundering skies of Inazuma is not of Ei's will, nor is the withering in Sumeru Nahida's. Things in common with these three nations is that their original archons died during the cataclysm. So I assume, the effect of this in Fontaine is having no rain as well as the change in their waters.

So if it doesn't rain, Fontaine is really being "swallowed", as in it is sinking. Besides, its topography is an elevated plate, so even if it did rain, it doesn't really make the entire nation flood since the waters will just flow through the falls.

It's also worth noting that the scene where Lyney talks about the prophecy of Fontaine, it's raining. So maybe it is tied to the prophecy. Remember when Liben mention about dark clouds forming and the locals are antsy?

The locals were pretty antsy, said judgment was soon to come, or something like that.

I assume the prophecy was told during the cataclysm by one of Phanes' shades. Which leads me to the next headcanon.

4. Fontaine is targetted by Celestia due to the previous hydro archon's actions. We know that waters in Teyvat are said to contain memories and willpower. So I believe that the hydro archon of all the archons, would know about Teyvat's history and its long forgotten memories (yes, I'm talking about any variations changed in Teyvat via the leylines and Irminsul). Hence her desire to connect everyone and tasking the Oceanids as her spies throughout Teyvat.

5. Fontaine's waters is bitter. Idyia said that the waters changed in Fontaine when the previous hydro archon died.

So what's intriguing to me is that if Fontaine is the very heart of Teyvat's water supply, do the good-natured Oceanids scattered around Teyvat help purifying it for other regions? And if Fontaine's waters are bitter... what makes Petrichor, a town in Fontaine, have pure waters?? And are the aberrant creatures adaptive forms that survive in Fontaine's waters?

6. The oratrice is powered by the hydro gnosis, and may have been created by the previous hydro archon, the Lord of Amrita, the same way Rukkhadevata created the Akasha.

7. Tartaglia is in Fontaine to ask Traveller for a rematch LMAO, as well as protect Traveller again from being arrested, or trialed in this case. Also, he does not like Arlecchino's methods, especially because of the treatment towards children maybe. There might be another reason why he's even enduring to be anywhere near her.

I actually enjoy the fact that Genshin's story is such a slow burn... Like, it is only in Sumeru that we finally starting getting some answers at long last, not many... But at least we've got something to work with. I love myself a good slow burn.

However!

Can we pick up the pace just a tinsy bit in Fontaine, please...? Cause while, I and a few other people love slow burn stories... There are a lot of people that are getting kinda..... Bored? Frustrated? without substantial process in the story in a game that's 3 years old now.

I'm not against stories that are a slow burn. I am willing to let Hoyo cook, rushing them is just going to lead to disaster (*cough* Inazuma *cough*) I'd rather they take their time with where they're taking the story.

I also understand the perspective of the people who just want the story to start "hyping up" as they put it...

Anyway... I hope that the story picks up the pace a little in Fontaine, I'm 75% sure it will. Just cause Sumeru really just gave us so many pieces of the puzzle (descenders, fake sky, heavenly principles lore, The Sinner) and with Natlan teasing some "secret"... yeah.

sumeru archon quest act 2 appreciation post

HEAVY HEAVY spoilers warning, wall of text

note: i know the game said it wasn’t a time loop but for simplicity’s sake we’re keeping that phrase

honestly, i’m still riding the high of the archon quest so i will be very biased in my opinions LMAO. however from reading some friend’s and randoms’ opinions, i think we can all agree to a certain extent that this is one of the best if not the best archon quest to date. it’s such a mindfuck, wonderfully executed and so much more engaging. this is what inazuma should have been instead of the rushed mess that we got. i knew that the writing was going to improve bc MHY is no stranger to well-written stories (honkai, dainsleif’s and inazuma npc’s quests) but i certainly did not expect such drastic improvement this patch lmao.

first i want to go back and look at previous nations and why i hated the format of the missions. (to be fair i know that story-heavy live services games usually get better over time and not perfect the first few years but just using these points for comparison ;)). mondstadt and liyue, imo, is just there to set a foundation and test the waters. how the story was delivered was very boring. it’s pretty much: you walk here, read dialogue that most skip anyways, fight for 3 seconds, watch characters do the same 3 talking animation, cue cutscene, conclusion. look, i may be able to play visual novels for hours, but when i play genshin i expect something much more engaging than that okay lol. story is supposed to excite you, keep you immersed and encourage you to keep coming back to it. but i really didn’t feel that with mondstadt and liyue. most of the excitement were boss fights and cutscenes. if you asked me what happened in-between, i wouldn’t really remember much LMAO. inazuma was slightly better but followed a very similar format. i think we were all hyped from raiden shogun reveal and new region that we just kinda accepted whatever we got. Inazuma’s quests were better near the end with yae miko’s and raiden’s quest for certain though. building up to sumeru, we had a LOOOT of unanswered questions and no one seems to know or want to talk. this frustrated me a lot bc the only time we get to learn more about our sibling/khaenri’ah was through dain and that motherfucker appears like TWICE in the duration of one nation KJASEK. so as we enter sumeru we have a LOT of anticipation for something MORE, whether that’s through better quests or getting actual answers about the other sibling/abyss. inazuma is not completely flawed and is amazing in its own way but it should tell you a lot that I was already kinda done with the region by 2.4 ish.

now to actually talk about why i think act 2 was so good. i love time-loop like tropes ok? like a lot. it’s a complex trope to write and the audience can very easily get lost and frustrated trying to follow it. however, if developed with care, it’s extremely rewarding for both the writer and us pea brains gacha addicts. it’s not perfect as i think MHY could’ve done better than a “collective dream” as the reason for samsara. the conclusion was a tiny bit jarring with nilou being the host bc she barely appeared. but everything else was incredible. i appreciate that they tried to make that trope work within genshin’s lore. if anyone has ever watched madoka magica, i think it’s a great example of why time-loop like tropes are so good. simply, it’s disturbing. (madoka spoilers skip to next bold text if needed) the creator of madoka confirmed that homura has ran through at least 100 timelines to attempt to save madoka. when i watched it, i personally didn’t even get the hint that homura was stuck in a time-loop lmao. (end of spoilers). i like that the time-loop in genshin was similar to this. we sensed that something wack was going on. our memories are erased and we keep repeating the festival until the duo consistently retain their memories. nahida confirmed that they went through at least 20 time loops before realization. that is so eerie to me. i would legit question everything i ever knew about time and reality lmao. paranoia would overwhelm you and you can’t help but think if you’re truly of out the “dream”. if the duo wasn’t protected by plot armor, they could’ve been trapped there for an eternity. autonomy over your own life lost bc of some petty scholars. it’s that feeling of helplessness and trapped with no way out is what makes this quest so terrifying.

so that’s reason #1: time loop tropes are cool and it was executed well majority of the quest. reason #2: better audience engagement. aw man 100 chefs kiss to the teams that worked on this together. i don’t want to ramble but to summarize the following things really helped me stay engaged in the story:

- camera work: I might be very wrong there were some shot that utilizes actual camera techniques such as dutch angles and dolly zoom. subtle maybe but it was there. these are great for giving the feeling of uneasiness. and it was a great way to lead the audience too - dunyarzad: she was fleshed out very well! i was attached to her early on and even shed some tears during the dancing cutscene lmao she feels much more alive bc she had a purpose and relationships (nilou, dehya) that we care about. teppei lacked a lot of that and while i adored his character, i can’t deny that dunyarzad was more complex and believable - deduction mechanic: for once the player actively participates in the story!!!! it was so cool piecing things together. it helps making you feel like you’re a part of the mystery. aaaaanddd it confirms that the traveler is an established protagonist that actually speaks and not a piece of cardboard voiced by paimon. - battle of wits: we always see paimon solving issues via brute force but i think this is the first time we really get to watch them use their intelligence and observational skills to get out of this sticky situation. it was so refreshing to do a quest that was more mystery oriented. i definitely need more quests like this bc the dynamics/bonds between the duo truly shines here! - small little things such as art of young dunyarzad speaking to nahida, and mini-cutscenes of the duo time-looping to show quest progression. it helped liven the quest for me!

- traveler: traveler feels so much more human here. like I LOVED that they were mourning dunyarzad and angry at themselves for being unable to protect her. paimon has always spoken for them and we don’t really get to see traveler express their own thoughts and emotions a lot. I feel much more attached to the traveler bc of this imo. I’ve always seen them as a blank slate (and they are for the player but I see them more as an OC)

CONCLUSION

whether or not they're listening to our feedback regarding story (certainly not for character design oop), this is very exciting. i love the direction that they are going in in terms of storytelling and execution. this specific act is more story than action so it's possible that this gives MHY more leeway to be creative. but i'm gonna send them a fat feedback to make sure they keep some of the elements i mentioned bc i refuse to go back to the 40 minutes of pure dialogue and talking animations. the sumeru plot line has potential to be one of the best AND very dark thematically but will mhy actually do it??? we’ll find out in 3.1 and 3.2!

Did you see that mihoyo released a new video about dendro?

Yes! Was very interesting to hear them explain the new reactions. A bit bummed that dendro seems to only react with hydro, pyro, and electro (like they couldn't think of anything for geo and cryo?) but i think the two new reactions will be very fun and lead to some new team comps and synergies and hopefully shift the meta. cryo has consistently been overpowered for awhile now, would be fun to see if this hypes up pyro and electro units and comps more.

The enemies of sumeru also seem interesting af, tho the fact i gotta think about how im killing an enemy to get the right drops might be a bit frustrating when you wanna farm quick lol. But still, i love that a lot of the enemies have cutsey design like those jellies in the chasm.

Also i appreciated how much lisa was in the video and i hope we see her a lot in sumeru <3
