heeheehoohoo upon further research i have discovered that there ARE indigenous vendors in my city!! there is a little gift shop not that far from my apartment, and there’s a stall in a market a bus ride or two away. once i move out of this stinky apartment and have some money to spare, i’m spending it all on a new hand drum, moccasins, and some medicines. yayayayayayayayayayayayayay!!!

#still wish i could go to powwows though #i miss dancing #but the nearest one is 40 minutes out of the city #and i have no transportation #sucks bc it’s happening on the rez i grew up on :( #oh well #a win is a win
