8 Videogames to Get to Know Me
I was tagged by @n7viper @demandthedoodles and @idolsgf 💛 thanks loves ;; I’m not a gamer but I do have some strong favorites!
1. Mass Effect Trilogy - faithful adoration for many aspects of each game so I’ll just pack them in a single slot lol every time someone talks about suicide missions, I urge them to play the second game. The score, the narration, the preparations, the stakes... it’s just perfect, really. And the DLCs??? Lair of the Shadow Broker omgg seeing Liara for the first time after [spoiler] and the way they remind you the real face of Cerberus while you fight [spoiler] in Overlord?? BRING DOWN THE SKY!! Also the ugly crying that Citadel caused ;A; - Saren best villain ever, I will die on that hill 👏
2. Machinarium - must replay it because I don’t remember much about it and it’s a shame because it was my main artistic influence back in the late 00s
3. Dragon Age Origins - mooom ali is making favorites again DD: seriously tho, the other two games wished they had its depth <<
4. Pokemon Silver - my late childhood and early adolescence were spent on this game. I still know that specific pokedex by heart lol
5. The Battle for Wesnoth - and this is probably the only strategic game I’ll ever mention because it’s not really my genre :’D it’s totally free and you can download/make your own scenario. Super cool!
6. Ducktales for GameBoy color - I think it was distributed by Capcom? I’ve spent entire days trying to beat that game omg its soundtrack is amazing too
7. Stardew Valley - look at all these brown chickens!
8. Yes, Your Grace - “a medieval monarch nightmare sim” is probably the most fitting description lol my heart was so broken at the end I had to sit down and watch the paint on the walls dry with a drink on my hands
I’m tagging: @layalu @underneathestars @greypetrel @shivunin @star--nymph @daggerbean @gvnseylike and whoever puts an 👀 emoji in the replies

a while back i gifted someone close to me a journal. small thing, for that year. i figured they'd use it to write down appointments, memories, and generally just keep their schedule organized.
i later found out they hadn't used it at all.
i wasn't angry, but i was a bit... disappointed? dejected? i guess. they had seemed to love it at the time, only to then never use it. i asked them why, and their answer was basically "the journal was so pretty, i didn't want to ruin it with my horrible handwriting." baffled me enough i didn't have a proper reply.
i think about that sometimes. about how i myself have got piles of art supplies - sketchbooks, pencils, markers, acrylics and oils and a dozen other things - all gathering dust in the corners of my room. about how i never use them, because they're fancy, and pretty, and costly, and i don't want to "waste them" on my drawings. on my simple, horrible little drawings.
about how i think my skills are just not good enough, to be worthy of those gifts. about how i keep waiting, years and years, for my skills to be good enough to be worthy of them.
and about how they'll keep gathering dust, because perfection will never come.
how do people feel when they see i have never used their gifts at all?

How’d you manage to make that ugly man (Wolfgang) hot. He’s genuinely the grossest townie I’ve ever seen lol I don’t know how you did it with his face. Props
LMAOOOO anon im gonna let you in on a secret... ive tried remaking ea wolfgang a dozen times, and it never worked out for me, so i just made an entirely new sim and gave him the same traits as ea wolfgang :'). the rest of the munches weren't so bad to remake tbh, i could remake all of them from their original ea counterparts! it's just ea wolfgang, he has such strange facial proportions i honestly didn't know what to do with him. hes my little worm guy!!!

[txt]: {insert nude photo of Raven here}
[txt]: OMFG BEEL IM SO SORRY THAT WASN'T FOR YOU HOLY F UCKI NG SHIT
-Raven to Beel <3
Poor, unsuspecting Beelzebub was hit with a whirlwind of emotion when he opened his texts after practice. First was curiosity upon seeing the notification, then glee knowing it was Raven that had texted him. It was a wonderful, fluttery feeling knowing she cared enough to leave a message — except that lighthearted feeling crashed and smoldered inside the crater it created at the bottom of his stomach the instant his eyes found the picture of her naked form.
He was only able to glance for a second, however, as he heard several of his teammates stomping around behind him. A little too quickly to be subtle, Beelzebub pushed himself up from the locker room bench.
“You good, B?”
“Uh, yeah. Just remembered I had to get home soon.”
“You ain’t even outta your uniform yet.”
“It’s fine, I’ll bring it back later.” Beelzebub shouldered his bag and hurried out into the hall, fingers squeezing tight at his D.D.D. Part of him wanted to stop sooner rather than later and have a second look just to be sure he hadn’t made a mistake, but stopping now meant being cornered by nosy teammates. Not willing to risk them getting an eyeful, he continued on until he was clear of RAD and any peeping eyes.
Unfortunately for him and the burning pit in his stomach, the picture was exactly what he thought it to be. He’d always thought she was pretty, her smile consistently putting an extra beat in his chest, but this was different. He wasn’t familiar with the concept of being sensual, but. . . he liked it. The way she was posed, her shape, the way her hair pooled around her head like a twisted halo. She wasn’t angelic in the least, but she didn’t need to be. She had a beauty all her own, and he appreciated that she was confident enough to share it.
Sadly, he realized too late that the image wasn’t for him.
Oh.
His shoulders slumped, and with it went his heart. Someone else was meant to see her like this. It made sense when he remembered that they weren’t together. It wasn’t as if he had the right to see her vulnerable and gorgeous. She wasn’t his to admire. Whoever the picture was meant for had better understand how fortunate they were.
Disappointed but not about to make an enemy out of her, he sent her a short string of seemingly nonchalant texts back.
< RAVEN
It’s okay. Don’t worry about it.
Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was in
the middle of the locker room when I got this.
You can check my phone later if you need
proof I didn’t save it.
I won’t tell anyone either. Promise.
