Mouse Man AU: The Ballad of Steven McClean.

So I was talking with Eris about the Mousebraingirl au rp we were working on and she mentioned about Steven talking with canon Dr. Two Brains about embarrassing crime moments that Mouse went through. I then thought back to the episode, "The Ballad of Steve McClean" and I thought of something perfect for how that episode will occur in the Mouse Man au.

In this episode, Steve McClean angers two people. Dr. James Jenkins who hates how he got pegged down and disregarded more for this cleaning villain. Instead of the rap thing, Dr. Jenkins tries to one up McClean with the greatest invention ever, a ray that turns cleaning supplies into sentient thieves. He is about to unleash it at the grocery store before Wordgirl stops him. Now Steven is the other person that Steve McClean upsets. The reason why is that people are gushing about how this guy is so snazzy and cool. Some random person comments how Steve McClean is cooler looking than any scientist guy. (Steven overhears that comment that was meant for Jenkins, but Steven took offense to that anyway because he is a scientist as well.) I always thought that Dr. Two Brains' ego came from his human side, just advanced by Squeaky's influence. So Steven gets annoyed and upset that everyone thinks this new villain is so snazzy and cool. He thinks he is pretty snazzy himself, much more so than this disco villain cleaner. Steven's ego gets the better of him a bit. I have mentioned in the dms with Eris that Steven is more involved in helping his daughter in the episodes that feature his canon character. So Steven dresses up in a sidekick outfit and joins Wordgirl who is now facing Dr. Jenkins and Steven McClean who shows up later. He, much to Wordgirl's chagrin, dresses up as this au's version of Dr. Cool Brains. Steven instead calls himself Dr. Cool Mouse. Instead of doing the rap, he just acts like a cool, hip rapper and tries to speak in stereotypical cool teen/rapper talk. He says yo a lot and homie a few times as well. Dr. Jenkins is mortified for Wordgirl's sake as well and just blurts out that Steven looks ridiculous. Dr. Jenkins does stop Steve McClean in the end, but Steven still makes the comment about Steve McClean's voice. All in all, it is an embarrassing moment for Becky and she makes her dad promise not to do anything mortifying like that again.

According to the files, Larry Parker’s first name is Laurence, the man we meet near Arcade machines is Morris Aubrey, and the fisherman is Coyote Nelson… but his description in the unreleased in-game encyclopedia also implies he died, so that might be inaccurate.

Can I have some fun facts about pbv!stevie and nat? I just miss them so much 😣

As a reminder: Nat's just the fill in name for Reader in the Wealthy Steve series.

He's a later morning office goer, normally gets in around 9:45/10:00 cause he can -- he's the boss. Nat's not the boss, so he has the pleasure of watching her get ready in the morning. Sometimes he wakes up with her and gets breakfast ready for her while she showers and does her hair and makeup. Sometimes he wakes up just in time to get her goodbye kiss and a glimpse of whatever bra she's wearing. Either way, mornings with her set his whole day right.

Nat's a sore loser, Steve's a sore winner. They will always accuse each other of cheating at cards.

Steve's favorite song is Walkin' in Memphis by Marc Cohn. (He's also very partial to American Pie by Don McClean, he sings it in the shower all the time, or hums it while he dusts).

Steve is a clean freak, Nat leaves wet towels on the bathroom floor. Sometimes when she's feeling bitchy she'll leave smudges on the mirror after a shower. (She likes his little mad face when he's like 'You can't draw faces in the fog, honey, it leaves streaks!')

Nat makes Steve's favorite dinner better than Steve's grandmother used to and he gets hard just thinking about her cooking for him.

Nat will always give Steve a scalp massage when he's had a long day, pulling him in between her thighs, her chest to his back and let him close his eyes while she give him a little scritch.

Linger is Nat's favorite song. Also Stay by Lisa Loeb.

They went to the Met Museum a month after officially dating and kept making out and got kicked out.

Steve is a Yankee's fan. (Gag.) But it's just to piss off his family in Nantucket/New England.

to answer your reblog you just did recently, which one do you think fits the best with Dr. Two brains?(basically choose whatever fruit im just very interested about this guy)

Since you didn't specify which fruit, i'll just say my headcanons for most of the fruits (I won't do any fruit that is repetitive)

🍍: Two Brains is comfortable with most of his physical traits....kinda. I've always liked the idea that even though there are only Two Brains fused together, it's actually three entities in the body (Steven, Squeaky, and Two Brains being his own entity). So while Two Brains is completely comfortable, Steven and Squeaky are uncomfortable with the half human-half mouse body.

🍅: He doesn't care for it himself, as he sees no reason to need it. He also doesn't care if other people get it, it's not his business.

🍑: He couldn't care less. Of course he'll take care of himself normally (semi-neat hair, pretty decent clothing), but as seen with episodes where he's in a slump, such as 'The Ballad of Steve McClean' Two Brains can completely ignore how he looks. Steven himself is also not extremely picky about his appearance, but Squeaky is the worst of them. Why would Squeaky care about his appearance? All he needs to care about his cheese!

🍏: The dude does absolutely zero work out or overly physical activities. On the other hand, he's also pretty careful with his health since he is a doctor-

🍎: Ignoring the obvious issue of a guy living with a Jekyll-Heyde crosses with DID situation, Two Brains also seems to constantly crave attention and approval. This is basically canon- anytime his reputation is jeopardized he gets really upset.

🍇: Two Brains was pretty well off as a child. Had decent parents that let him explore and experiment, and he grew up well meaning but a bit scatterbrained.

🍐: ....he's a doctor

🍉: He likes spring because he gets to go outside and enjoy the weather

🍌: He's very prideful and usually works with people but only if it benefits him

🍊: He's a slut

🍋: Cheese.
