A feeling of love and appreciation that stays in yourself is nice to feel... but to love is to show with actions, to will and do the loveliest things, the most kind and generous things...for the other... to DO what is good for the other. That’s as simple and as hard as it is. Yes it means giving the last cookie 🍪 to your child... it means postponing some plans for the benefit of your family, it means to wait to correct that behavior that annoys the heck out of you...at a later appropriate moment.. when you are calmer and the other person more receptive ...
