Results of a Roleplay has me making a new varient for the Sneasel Line mostly the Hisuian .

Basically some shady scientist got a Hisuian Sneasel feather through the black market and tried to restore the pokemon but it was missing some DNA so they mixed in Johtotian Sneasels in the blood but also added some steel dust/shavings /solution to make the samples stick or some mumbo jumbo like that accidentally creating a steel type variant.

Ability: Sturdy , Poison coat , Steely resolve

Sneasels have poison tipped claws like their ancestors.

Sneaslers have thin shine of poison coating their head feathers, claws and tail feathers that can cause poison effect if touched or hit.

Platinum was a gift from Steven, since already as a Beldum, they clearly weren't made for battles. But taking part in Pokemon Contests? Maybe there the shiny Metagross could shine.

They are easily spooked by any Pokemon that could possibly land a super effective hit. Nia has been working with them on that, slowly building up their confidence.

She knows better than to mega evolve them yet, though - Considering Mega-Metagross' panic response is blowing up itself...

"Sandstorm then quick attack :)" I don't really play competitive pokemon that much so can you explain pls I am confused.

Endeavor always hits After especially if you're an aron. Considering Legendaries typically have something to protect themselves from wather. That makes a standstill between the Aron and the Legend.

My dumbass just remembered Aron is a steeltype. So let's switch Sandstorm with Hail intead. (im used to rattata)

Anyway- legendaries with quick attack alays go first cause they have a higher speed. All ya need to do is break that Sturdy and it's laughably easy.

Ya know another way would be placing down stone edge befire Aron is thrown out. Toxic wont effect and neither will poison. But a burn will and paralysis can prevent a single move turn :)

I dont play competitive either but ive learned here and there. And there are so many ways to break sturdy and beat up the aron lol.

You know what else would do it? A move that flinches (like fake out) or a move that hits more than once, like double kick, which will auto trigger Sturdy on the first hit lol

Greetings! I am doctor george thistle, a engineer currently working in steeltype medicine, and i heard you know a but about the so called paradox pokemon, out of curiosity, do you have any insights to share on the care of them? A caretaker must always be prepared for even the most outlandish pokemon

After the "disappearances" of Professors Turo and Sada, I was allowed to enter Area Zero and study the Paradox Pokemon for a while

My findings were mostly disappointing, they turned out to be pretty hostile towards me and my Ditto. But I do have a few notes!

The "future" Paradox Pokemon look robotic, but my tests with Ditto reveal that only one of them (Iron Treads, the Donphan lookalike) was Steel Type.

I think this may be a case similar to Voltorb or Honedge, where extremely unusual biology just looks artificial.

The "past" Paradox I got closest to was Slither Wing, the Volcarona lookalike. Its wings were completely nonfunctional, and it lacked the Fire Type abilities I expected. It did seem to like the same food as Volcarona (I wanted to be a bug catcher as a kid, fun fact)

I also encountered two Cyclizar variants, one "past" and one "future", but I had been warned by Turo and Sada's son not to approach them. (Did you know they had a kid? I didn't.)

I found pieces of a wrecked machine in the very bottom of Area Zero, probably the professors' attempt at a time machine. Part of me wonders if it worked, and these Paradox Pokemon are just too ancient or from too far in the future for us to know about them.

But part of me wonders... what if it wasn't a time machine? What if these bizarre, wrong-feeling Pokemon come from another dimension, like Ultra Space?

I wish I could speak to the Ultra Recon Squad, I only ever met them once...

So my klinklang is sick, i know you’re a vet and probably don’t know how to care for steel types since they’re made of metal ((usually)) but you have any idea of where i can go? Like a blacksmith or a mechanic or something? ((Ooc: i mostly just wanna know your headcanons on steeltype medicine))

A Pokemon Center would be your best bet. If nothing else, they will be able to tell you what is wrong and where to go from there.
