Every #StarWarsDay I do a lil' @starwars character sketch. This year, May The Fourth be with an anxious lil' Malakili—or as you may know him better, Jabba's Rancor Keeper—standing here mourning a fallen friend. We 💚 U, Malakili!

San Diego Comic Con Spotlight: Topps Star Wars Card Trader Art Director Brandon Bernard
For Star Wars fans of a certain age, Trading Cards were a huge part of how they celebrated the galaxy, and Topps has been there from the very beginning. Several years ago, they created a digital app for card trading and collecting across sever IPs with their Star Wars one being one of the most popular. The app is easy to use and free to download, though there are some paid features…
Two pieces done for Star Wars: Card Trader by Topps!
If you're a collectable card person (and like Star Wars), this Topps app pretty generous about trading and free stuff — and the community is pretty active — so if you're interested definitely check it out!

Brandon Bernard (the AD) was awesome, and pretty much let me choose whoever I wanted for the first character... and since I like her design and haven't painted her nearly as much as I wanted to, I chose Enfys Nest (from Solo).
For the second piece I could choose any of my favorite Leia scenes... and (for better or worse) mine is Leia's last meeting with Luke in TLJ. :'( Just a really great moment (if sad!), and a fun challenge to fit both characters in a vertical format.
I couldn't ask for a better client than Topps, and this was a really great project to be a part of!
My latest official Topps card is live in the Star Wars Card Trader App. It’s always a treat to illustrate Ahsoka and I was thrilled to tackle her newest look.
"I Am Your Father" is my second piece I have done for the Topps Star Wars card trader app @toppsswct @toppsdigital . This is included in the Redeeming Anakin Skywalker set.
