Cabin Terra head cannons

-Instead of coffee we drink honeysuckle nectar, at least we used to until we noticed that the bees were sad. Then we started making our own

-There are skylights in the ceiling that open when it rains, so the moss floor and flowers get watered

-The bees never sting terra campers, but they do sting those who are mean to us

-We have a worm bin for food scraps. We use the worm poop as fertilizer

-Anything thats meant to stay dry is stores in waterproof sets of drawers

-The cabin smells like a forest after a rainstorm

-Any mushroom that grows in the cabin is safe to eat

-Edible flowers, need I say more?

-The excess honey that the bees make are turned into candies

-Pet raccoon

-Dirt under everyones fingernails

I step out of my cabin, my boots sinking into the thick moss, and I adjust my bowtie. My friends and I take each others hands and start walking towards the center of camp

The sky is ablaze of the setting sun, coating everything in honey light. Sticky from the fading summer heat, rich from the buzzing of insects

Long strings of fairy lights trail from tree to tree. We meet up with others from the two other cabins. Long skirts brushing the grass, puffy sleeves bouncing, coat tails fluttering

The air is alive with music, I can feel it in the ground. People have already begun to dance

We dance long into the night, until the sky is a dark blue sea above us, until fireflies rise from the long grass. Shedding their soft light on our last night together
