Step into Dryness: The Ultimate Guide to Waterproofing Shoes
Tumblr media
Wet feet can put a damper on any outdoor adventure, whether you’re hiking, camping, or simply navigating a rainy day. But with the right waterproofing techniques and products, you can keep your feet dry and comfortable no matter what the weather has in store. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about waterproofing shoes and provide helpful tips to ensure you never have to suffer from soggy feet again.
The Importance of Waterproof Shoes
Waterproof shoes play a crucial role in keeping your feet dry, protected, and comfortable during outdoor activities. Not only do they prevent the unpleasant sensation of wet feet, but they can also help to prevent blisters, cold feet, and other related issues. Moreover, waterproof shoes can extend the life of your footwear by protecting them from the damaging effects of water and moisture.
Types of Waterproofing for Shoes
There are several methods available for waterproofing shoes, each with its own unique benefits and drawbacks. In this section, we’ll explore the most common types of waterproofing and help you determine which method is best for your needs.
Tumblr media
Wax and Waterproofing Sprays
Wax and waterproofing sprays are simple and convenient options for waterproofing shoes. They are easily accessible at most outdoor gear stores and can be quickly applied to the surface of your shoes. Simply spray or rub the waterproofing product onto the shoes, allow it to dry, and enjoy the protection it provides. However, it’s important to note that some sprays and waxes may darken the color of your shoes and affect the breathability of the material. With GoGoNano waterproofing sprays you can be sure that material color or breathability won’t change.
Sealed and Waterproof Shoes
For those who are in the market for new shoes, purchasing a pair that is already sealed and waterproof is another option. Shoes designed for outdoor activities often feature waterproof materials, such as Gore-Tex, that provide excellent protection from water. This is a great choice for those who want the peace of mind that comes with knowing their feet will be dry and comfortable, without having to worry about reapplying a waterproofing product. Be sure that even the Gore-Tex’s waterproofing properties will fade away over time. Applying a waterproofing solution will enhance the material and water repellent properties will be active again.
Waterproof Socks
Another option for waterproofing shoes is waterproof socks. These are designed to be worn inside your shoes and provide a barrier between your feet and the water. They come in a variety of styles and sizes and are made from waterproof materials like Gore-Tex. This is a good choice for those who want to keep their current shoes and add an extra layer of protection. However, it’s important to make sure the socks fit well and don’t bunch or slide around inside the shoes, as this can cause discomfort.

DIY Waterproofing at Home
If you prefer not to buy a new pair of shoes or waterproofing socks, you can easily waterproof your current shoes at home with a few simple steps.
Clean and Dry the Shoes
The first step in waterproofing your shoes is to thoroughly clean and dry them. Remove any dirt, debris, or grime from the surface of the shoes and make sure they are completely dry before applying the waterproofing product.
Apply Waterproofing Spray or Wax
Next, apply a waterproofing spray or wax to the surface of the shoes. It’s important to follow the instructions on the product and apply it evenly, covering all areas of the shoes. Make sure to apply enough product to create a strong barrier against water. With GoGoNano waterproofing solutions you do not have to worry about material loosing its breathability or discoloring.
Allow the Shoes to Dry Completely
Once you’ve applied the waterproofing product, allow the shoes to dry completely. Our solutions will take 1 hour to dry out but maximum properties will be active after drying overnight. Depending on the product used, the drying time may be different. It’s important to let the shoes dry completely to ensure the waterproofing effect is strong and long-lasting.
Repeat as Needed
Depending on the frequency of use and exposure to water, you may need to reapply the waterproofing product every few months or so. It’s a good idea to regularly check the shoes for any signs of wear and reapply the product as needed to keep them in good condition.
FAQ
To wrap up, we’ve included answers to some frequently asked questions about waterproofing shoes.
Can I waterproof any type of shoes?
Yes, with GoGoNano you can waterproof any type of shoes, as long as they are made from a material that can be treated with a waterproofing product. This includes shoes made from materials like leather, fabric, and suede.
Is waterproofing a one-time process?
No, waterproofing is not a one-time process. The effectiveness of the waterproofing will depend on the frequency of use and exposure to water, and you may need to reapply the product every few months to keep the shoes in good condition.
Can waterproofing affect the breathability of my shoes?
Yes, depending on the type of waterproofing product you use, it can affect the breathability of your shoes. By choosing GoGoNano waterproofing products you can be sure that material color or breathability will not change in any way. Our products are all tested to fit with all the materials or shoe types.
In Conclusion
In conclusion, waterproofing shoes is a simple and effective way to keep your feet dry and comfortable no matter what the weather has in store. With the right waterproofing techniques and products, you can enjoy all your outdoor activities with confidence, knowing that your feet are protected from the elements. So, step into dryness and never suffer from soggy feet again!

Well, tonight’s outing with the meteor shower has ended with me getting half a bowlful of punch thrown at me - and a lot of questions from other people that I don’t want to answer.
Everyone’s fine though. Nothing dangerous happened. Seeing the meteor shower made something click in my head, and I inadvertently turned into a light show at school. I’ll post more later.

Kale Vandelay's second body
Tumblr media
I think it's mostly safe to post it here (I'm not going to show his "interesting" parts, only +- SFW stuff below).
This body was created to be close to a real thing and pretty, which is why there are Vs, golden parts, fake nipples, nails, sculpted abs, and little joints visible; there are only the necessary ones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Skin Actually has a nice texture for artificial skin, but it has its BUTs. It needs to be kept in a warm temperature. Long-term exposure to cold will lead to it permanently contracting and cracking (like a doll). The warmer - the softer. It also melts from high temperatures.
Provides only basic protection (it won't stop the knife, for example). Small scratches can be repaired by applying heat. Not stainproof.
The place where live tissue joins the body is covered with a layer of artificial skin, which becomes more translucent toward the end and creates an almost seamless look.
Tumblr media
Dethatchedility Parts of the body can be dethatched in several places. This was done mostly for easier maintenance (work while your damaged limb is being repaired; torso malfunctions treated only at the machine-surgery table) and for customobility (swapping limbs, for example).
These parts are not easily detachable (you can't snitch his arm and run away with it). Aside from usual locking mechanisms, there are ones that require a signal from the brain to unlock.
The core is positioned in the lower half. Because of this, it can't be completely detached without risking his life.
Tumblr media
Lights on his body can glow with any color (red is the primary one).
I will write information about his extra pair of arms later. Also, a certain additional info will be on my NSFW account (it will be visible in reblogs)

Pierre & creampies my beloved
And Jealous Pierre loml
So you're someone at work like an Alphatauri intern or someone who was fooling around with Pierre or dating him on the lowkey, a guy from redbull flirts with you but you don't realise it and are just being polite.
So Pierre fucks you before the next meeting, his cum starts dripping out of you during the meet wetting your panties makes you horny again, you shift uncomfortably in your seat trying to brush your thighs together. Pierre knowingly gives you a smirk, sneakily slides his hand under the table and fucks his cum back in you. The guy catches a glimpse of what's happening gets awkward and leaves.
Yes pleeeease
A jealous Pierre fucking you meant the best sex ever, and even the quickie right before the meeting with some Red Bull team members didn't disappoint. He had clasped his hand over your mouth as you came as soon as he spilled his seed inside of you. The meeting was far from comfortable, as you felt his cum oozing out of your pussy, the fact that you got horny from it didn't help at all. Pierre saw the Red Bull guy whispering things to you, but he also noticed how you were shifting in your seat, hoping to keep his cum inside and not leak anything on the chair. The Alpha Tauri team skirt wasn't that stainproof either.
You moved further under the table to prevent anyone from noticing, but you felt Pierre's hand between your thighs, riding up your skirt and sliding your panties aside. You bite your lip, cheeks turning red as his fingers thrust his cum back inside your pussy. The Red Bull teammembers awkwardly watched what happened, got up with excuse and left the meeting, leaving you with Pierre's fingers in your pussy and Pierre with a smug grin on his face.

besties we need an infodump about vegan leather
the Decline of Search Engines means i'm just getting ads and ads and ads. i need to buy a sofa and i want something waterproof and stainproof and durable and pretty
leather ticks all the boxes except "ethical" so can someone tell me what kind of faux leather is best? i know PU cracks and peels like a bitch after 2-3 years and i assume it's pretty bad for the environment to produce
what other vegan leathers are there? what about the ethics of buying leather second-hand?

another scene that's very seraphinacore: that breaking bad scene where gustavo v calmly gets undressed from his suit, puts on a stainproof suit, while walter's trying to tell him not to murk him, and gus just watches him while he's begging for his life, and then very swiftly murks someone else to set an example, and then washes his hands and gets dressed back in his suit

Like Chi, Levant gets a gifts as well. The first one is a light jacket with a gentle lining, a gentle shade of blue. "The jacket will also be the temperature that will help you be more comfortable, depending on the weather. And is resistant to physicality."
The second package is like Chi's, and has several snacks and treats in it. The third package has set of sneakers in it, in Levant's size. White with blue trimming. "These can't get dirty and are waterproof. So you can explore without worry. Have a good day! 💜"
> You blink as Lils shoved a bunch of half-unwrapped presents into your hands and ran out the door before you could ask any questions. By the time you realize what had happened, you can’t help but quirk your lips in amusement.
> Lils opened your presents by mistake again. She did this last year too - and it was the presents Nata sent to her also. Ha.
> Some things never change - and Lils’s careless excitability was one of them. You thumb the broken present wrapping with some fondness and then proceed to unwrap the rest.
> The sneakers are something you immediately put on, and you gently shift your weight from the ends of your toes to your heel and back. They fit well, and they’re mighty comfortable. You look to the note and smile at Nata’s thoughtfulness. This was something she definitely needed - waterproof and stainproof?
> The snacks and treats were a nice mix too, something that definitely brought the festive holiday cheer. You shove one in your mouth and savor the taste while you open the last of your presents.
> A jacket. You take off the jacket you’ve worn and patched for years and wear the light blue jacket over your uniform. It’s comfortable, even though you know you should be colder given how thick your other jacket was. A brief scan of the provided note reveals the answer, and you once again marvel at Nata’s thoughtfulness.
> It’s then you briefly catch yourself in the mirror.
> It’s...a different look honestly. With how patchy your previous jacket was, the jacket looks fresh and new in comparison. You look more mature as if the harsh aura you projected was dampened by the jacket you wore.
> A new jacket to bring in the new year. Almost like a new you.
> You'll have to thank Nata later for the practical gifts.

@emptyzone asked:
"Do you think you'd. Have a tuxedo. But like." Jae presses her fingers together, looking away from Ankh for a moment, "For a woman. You know. Preferably with a bowtie or something akin to that. I'd pay top dollar for it if you do, but if you don't, I'll. Just get something else." What on Earth did she need another tuxedo for. How many has she burnt through from other sellers.
A tux request? Not the usual outfit she’d have on the showcase... but it wouldn’t mean that she couldn’t accept it as a custom design commission.
Tumblr media
“All outfitsh I provide can be used by anyone who wantsh one, my gal. If I were ever invited to anything fancy, I’d shwitch it up with a suit for a change myshelf.” Too bad that hasn’t happened much yet...
“That shaid, I don’t currently have any tuxedosh on dishplay... BUT I have made one for a friend before sho I’d be glad to make another one on requesht.” She pulls out her phone and scrolls up until she finds a photo of UFO, looking their absolute best in the middle of receiving an award of sorts. Nothing major, really. “Here. I think I did a good job with their tux here. Don’t they jusht look adorable?~”
...Ahem. Don’t sound TOO enthusiastic, Ankh, or one of these days someone WILL catch on.
“Anywaysh, I can guarantee it would be made with waterproof, stainproof, and fireproof magic fabric, if needed to be.... And alsho be human-shaped and with other colorsh, of courshe.”

Desperately  trying to explain to my partner that using a knife on a glass cutting board will damage the metal and to please  use the plastic cutting board instead, so here;s some info in case you weren't aware
A glass board is to protect the surface of the kitchen counter, the other cutting board (wood/plastic) is to protect the glass.
Stainless steel and steel generally is touch, but it’s also soft when you’re hitting it on a point.
little crags, chips or folds occur at the edge of the blade, this will affect the quality of the cut you’re trying to perform.
A good cut should be effortless, in as much as is reasonable to expect form a kitchen knife.
Struggling to cut with a knife can lead to injury either by sharp blade or a jolt in a muscle if you’re susceptible to that sort of thing.
Please take care in the kitchen. Everything is a tool and has its uses, you still need to take care of your tools in the kitchen and not just the workshop.
That being said, stainless steel will still rust.

Upgrade Your Floors: Unveiling the Power of Epoxy for Tiles
Floors are the foundation of any space, silently enduring wear and tear while impacting aesthetics and functionality. But even the most resilient tiled floors can succumb to the passage of time. Cracks, chips, and discolored grout can leave your floor looking outdated and worn. Replacing the entire floor can be a costly and disruptive endeavor. Thankfully, there's a superhero solution that offers both beauty and brawn: epoxy for tiles.epoxy for floors tiles
This blog dives into the world of epoxy for tiles, exploring its diverse applications that transform your tired floors into stunning showcases. We'll explore the advantages of epoxy over traditional materials, showcase its repair and restoration capabilities, and empower you to unleash the potential of your tiled surfaces.
Beyond Repair: The Transformative Power of Epoxy for Tiles
Sure, epoxy for tiles excels at repairs, but its potential extends far beyond fixing chipped tiles or cracked grout. Here's how epoxy can transform your floors:
Durable Repairs: Epoxy for floor tiles offers a strong, long-lasting solution for minor cracks, chips, and missing tile fragments. Unlike traditional grout, which can crumble or crack over time, epoxy repairs are highly resistant to wear and tear.
Waterproof and Stainproof: Most epoxy floor coatings are waterproof and stainproof. This makes them ideal for high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Spills and splashes become a breeze to clean, and you won't have to worry about moisture seeping through cracks and damaging the subfloor underneath.
Revitalize Grout Lines: Cracked or discolored grout lines detract from the overall beauty of your floor. Epoxy tile joint fillers come in a variety of colors, allowing you to match your existing grout or create a contrasting accent for a refreshed look.
Creative Design Touches: For the artistically inclined DIYers, colored epoxy can be used to create decorative borders or even geometric patterns on your floor. This injects personality and transforms a basic floor into a work of art. Important Note: Creative projects require a high level of skill and planning. Proceed with caution and consider consulting a professional for complex designs.
Epoxy vs. Traditional Materials: A Clear Winner
When considering floor repairs and transformations, epoxy offers several advantages over traditional materials:
Superior Durability: Compared to traditional patching compounds, epoxy boasts superior durability. It resists cracking, crumbling, and wear and tear, ensuring your repairs last for years to come.
Waterproof and Stainproof: Unlike traditional materials that can absorb moisture and stains, epoxy creates a waterproof and stainproof barrier. This protects your subfloor and makes cleaning and maintaining your floor a breeze.
Wider Range of Applications: Epoxy's versatility extends beyond repairs. You can use it to create decorative accents, resurface entire floors, and even fill minor depressions in uneven surfaces.
DIY Friendly (for Most): Many epoxy products are designed for DIY application. With proper preparation and the right tools, you can tackle repairs, restorations, and even creative design projects yourself.
Important Note: While some projects might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, for extensive floor damage or structural repairs, consulting a professional is recommended.
Choosing the Right Epoxy for Your Project Upgrade
With a vast array of epoxy products available, selecting the right one for your floor is crucial. Here are some key factors to consider:
Type of Floor Tile: Ensure the chosen epoxy is compatible with the material of your floor tiles (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc.).
Project Needs: For repairs, choose an epoxy for floor tiles designed for chip or crack filling. For resurfacing or decorative projects, explore epoxy floor coatings or colored epoxy tile joint fillers.
Desired Finish: Epoxy comes in various finishes, from high-gloss to matte. Select the finish that complements the overall aesthetic of your space.
Skill Level: Consider your DIY experience when choosing an epoxy product. Some epoxies require more precise mixing ratios or advanced application techniques.
Upgrade with Confidence: Tips for a Successful Epoxy Project
Ready to upgrade your floors with the power of epoxy? Here are some essential tips to ensure a successful project:
Preparation is Key: Clean and prep your floor thoroughly before applying any epoxy. Dust, debris, or moisture can hinder the epoxy's bonding process.
Follow the Instructions: Every epoxy product has specific mixing ratios and cure times. Taking the time to understand and follow the manufacturer's instructions is crucial for achieving optimal results.
Safety First: Most epoxy products contain chemicals, so always follow the manufacturer's safety recommendations. Wear gloves, eye protection, and a respirator when necessary.
Practice Makes Perfect: For intricate design projects, consider practicing your technique on a scrap piece of tile before tackling the main floor
