#my recipe #Okay so some tips is the lemon juice will taste less artificial if it is freshly squeezed #But thematically I think the artificial is better and I personally like it more #Sugared rim is optional but fun to sugar a rim you just get the glass wet and turn it around upside down in a little dish of sugad #Sugar but I’m not retyping that #Simple syrup is 1 part water 1 part sugar just boiled together in a pot #Club soda and tonic water are BASICALLY the same. Club soda is more sweet and tonic water is more bitter #They can be used interchangeably most of the time. This is one of those times #If you want to make it a COCKTAIL and not a mocktail it’s pretty much a lemon drop with extra steps so just go with vodka #This recipe image has less flair to it because this is a less. Well the flair is in the drink itself #I’m tagging this as #saw v #but that’s it for theming related tags #The grenadine is the blood going on the glass btw (the glass is the clear liquid base)

hi just thought everyone would want to know. I think I just made the all time best potatoes anyone has ever made ever. just wanted to share

#boil some russet potatoes in salt water until they’re fork soft #meanwhile heat olive oil in skillet and cook minced garlic and crushed coriander until fragrant #add chili paste to that #smash potatoes until chunky. add olive oil mix #taste. add more olive oil and salt and black pepper. stir stir stir. add some lemon zest and a few squeezes of lime juice #stir more. taste. add a shit ton of this specific seasoning blend from where I work #which consists of garlic powder salt and like. Rosemary basil and I don’t rmemeber what else. think like Italian seasoning #but heavy on the garlic and also it has red pepper flakes in it #taste. adjust seasoning levels as needed. taste a little more bc oh my god #put away for dinner tomorrow but taste a couple more times before you stick it in the fridge bc Oh My God #I don’t even LIKE potatoes very much. like they’re fine but Holy Shit

#pic was taken downstairs lol #see like. the staff that work here have a bed in their office and they change bedding every time they switch which is every two days #and i got a pic taken by one while i was stil downstairs bc the office is next door to the kitchen #and there's one staff member who i know would love to see this bc she loves to take pics of the food i make and or bake #and i wanted a pic taken before i eated it all xdfvbhjhgfdfgh it was divine #had homemade lemonade with it too #2-4 spoons of sugar [depends on the size of your cup and sweet tooth] and i had half a lemon so i squeezed that in with cold water. #added icecubes and now it's my favourite drink ever [sparkling water hurts my teeth and gums and dilute juice hurts my throat]

I hate this cake (glace cherries are yuck) but it does at least look pretty (and I forgot to buy flaked almonds and had to hand chop those on the top 😭)

you can make lemonade from bottled lemon juice if you don't have the spoons/finances/desire to juice fresh lemons btw

its not a sin to make lemonade from bottled juice and you can make simple syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and hot water from the tap and then putting it in a jar and swirling it around till the sugar dissolves

add a splash of simple syrup and a couple splashes of juice. dilute and adjust to taste

ur allowed! and it still tastes good!

New sunshine set! I set out to make a more effective lemon squeezer than the one in my kitchen, and I succeeded. This was my first time splitting the clay into two sections as I was throwing (to do the inner point and the outside - I don't know if there's a name for that?) and I just made it up and surprising everyone it worked first time!
