throughout the series of drake and josh it pretty consistently implies that josh nichols is a christian (josh peck is jewish) and in the finale of the series helen (played by yvette nicole brown, not jewish[?]) is portrayed as a practicing jew

'eric is a pacifist' 'i thought he was jewish?' like come on #text post #i have been rewatching drake and josh recently and i have had so many thoughts #im almost done. i just have left that stupid dance episode that they premiered last for the stupid reason #of a special dance-themed premiere night in fall 2007. they premiered the third episode of icarly and a new zoey 101 on the same night #which i think is so stupid. they should've aired really big shrimp last. it messed w my understanding of the series at the time lol #i remember not really knowing that the show was ENDING. like i knew icarly was starting & miranda was doing that #i thought really big shrimp was like just another special like go hollywood. #and then like two days later they premiered the helicopter episode for some reason #and i was like why is drake not famous in this. he just had a number 1 song in a superbowl commercial #and then a month later the dance one. which. if anything is satisfying about that as a final episode it's just that #that unnamed girl from the blues brothers episode who is obsessed w drake shows up again and congratulates them #and the very final line of the series is 'who is she?' because. because really who IS she? #that's a funny enough throwback to wrap things up with i suppose #drake and josh wasn't a highly serialized show so i can see how they could air those after the intended finale and act like it didn't matte #but i have to tell you it did fuck with my brain a bit at the time. lol. i still think of those episodes as having 'happened' after #and on paramount plus those episodes are still placed after really big shrimp. the injustice #but thats kinda messy. what a weird way to end such an influential and popular sitcom #season 4 had a few lowpoints while still also having some VERY solid episodes. #idk. ill have to continue my series review another time im getting way too longwinded here #helen dubois is jewish

i will be logged off for the majority of today and tomorrow. so before i go, here's the schedule for january:

. january third will be a big day for me. as it is not only kuni's birthday, but the day i get to spoil you guys with as much content as i can because i am free for the month <3

. january 10th to 12th are days where i'm publishing drabbles for other kuni concepts i hope to evolve on this year with my favorite one being a secret for now ^-^

. january 16th up to the 26th will strictly be chapters for my kabukimono series until it's done. i hope to wrap the series up as soon as i can since i have another series i hope to start by spring of this year ( specific i know, but that's connected to the lore )

. end of january to the beginning of february will be the bonus chapters for my kabukimono series! mainly the ones that count as additional content like the chapter titled "will i receive an embrace?"

and that's it! here's to a year full of fun and me loving kuni as always~ i am incredibly excited to share all i have this year as in all honesty, this was something i wanted to do for a long time. i don't suppose i can be blamed for my excitement 🤭

You don't understand how unhinged I feel trying to construct an ending for Bleach that I personally would enjoy while knowing Bleach does not deserve my time and also not remembering enough to actually make anything coherent. And yet here I am.

#god. no one gives a fuck abt bleaching. i am screaming into the void. y cant i put this energy into being productive #i just want there to be themes and a satisfying ending. and ending that is sad and yet happy #i just think. for me. ichigo kurosaki died on the night rukia pierced him with her zanpakto. oh fuck i cant spell. fucking strap in #i kno he didnt technically die according to the rules of the universe but i think as soon as ichigos soul left his body. that body became #a corpse. so when he goes back into it its not suitible to live in anymore and he only starts to feel that with the fullbring arc #i think when rukia jumpstarted his powers she lit the fuse of a bomb and becoming a visor allowed him to chanel his resentment #bc he does resent. ichigo is an emotional person. he felt emense guilt when his mothet died bc he felt he couldnt protect her bc he was #being raised to protect. the boy has a complex and its kinda fuckrd up and its 1000% isshins fault. so when thr opportunity comes for #ichigo to sacrifice himself for his family he does and he literally and metaphorically dies. his life from that point on is overtaken by #death. so what do we do with ichigo after everything is said and done bc he cant go back to being human he cant be a living corpse. he has #to go to the soul society. bc i like to imagine everything hes done to his soul. his twisted cosmically weird special boy soul. hes like a #bomb. its unstable and they need to teach him to control it so he doesnt tear a hole in reality and let thr hollows pour in. so its safer #if that happens in thr soul society. and rukia lil miss ice princess can teach him to do that. i would also make it weird with god stuff but #i never read the blood war stuff so i dont kno enough abt the gods. also i would make rukia more at odds with everyone who was gonna let her #fucking die and who overlooked her bc she should b held with more reguard for her fighting. but misogyny 😒 so then what do we do with #ichigo in thr soul society? i cant stand the idea of him becoming part of the institution. i cant. i think he should be rogue. rebell. idk #train to be strong and battle agaisnt the 13 court guard squad who r clearly going to try to control him as he tries to control himself. #send my boy to therapy so he can control his reatsu? is the the word? idk. maybe he should go to that dead dog district and look for kids #with spiritual pressure. he needs to feel useful. maybe id just give him weird god powers. i am an ichigo special boy apologist #thats as far forward as i can think. ichigo has to b dead. has to learn to control his power before he can go fight. rukia can teach him #he rebells against the institution. encourages rukia to go apeshit bc fuck everyone. and then idk. he keeps trying to save ppl forever #or he dies and destroys the universe. a big ball of resentment and bad feels and secrets upon secrets upon secrets. god y am i thinking #abt this so much. ive got bullshit to deal with. anyway. idk i just like ichigo a lot and i think thr ending to bleach is th worst forever #bleach ramblings

#i will always be exiting pursued by a bear #tales from diana #text post #shakespeare #the winter's tale #for the longest time (and even still now) (but since i was a teenager) i used to say i had 3 firm favorite shakespeare plays #a midsummer night's dream / the tempest / antony and cleopatra #but ESPECIALLY midsummer and the tempest. and those two still are just. immovably special to me #i love every word in those plays i love every plot element. i love how they're two of shakespeare's original plots! #i love the imagination i love the metatheater i love the themes and takeaways i love the characters #but as i get older. alas i simply do not have three favorite shakespeare plays i have like 14 #also relevant to how i read the wars of the roses tetralogy years ago but i cannot stop talking about them in 2023. #i have to be honest. i LOVED those plays as i read them but bc i was like 'well they dont top my favorites' i didnt think of them *as* that #but really what is it to have a favorite anyway? a rose by any other name would smell as sweet #on my first readings. my top 3 were my favorites that i had ever read (altho i had only read so many by then!) #i have now read most of shakespeare's plays. most of the great ones are not so obviously far behind those which i felt a sentimental #attachment to at an adolescent age. #i really cant imagine what the tempest or a midsummer night's dream would be like to me if i read them for the first time now as an adult #i bet id still love them! id still find them breathless. i have always been in the habit of rereading passages from them from time to time #enjoying art from them and watching the occasional adaptation etc. #BUT ANYWAY. im really straying from what i was originally going to say now. wow i just realized how much i rambled #i was going to say that i only read the winter's tale last year. when i was quite familiar w shakespeare #but i hadnt been reading him as frequently as i had when i was a teenager. was reading other authors for the first time instead. #the winter's tale was the only shakespeare play i read in 2022 actually #and even in a dry spell for shakespeare i really enjoyed that. #and of course then i went back to other things. but the more time goes by the more i'm like wow. the winter's tale #it really does equal at least the tempest in my mind w how much i enjoy it #also hamlet. i've never thought hamlet was my favorite (though ive always really liked it) #but lately ive read several great plays w similar themes and thought wow this is so good it reminds me of hamlet #(or maybe that's bc hamlet was more influential than say the tempest... well whatever!)
