This Summer Vacation was already odd enough that it took place within a virtual reality- but to think they'd add haunted houses and the like.

Still, usually she could handle aspects like this. Horror, Occult, that genre? That was a excitement Sonia Nevermind could continue to sink her teeth into regardless, even despite her standard or 'talent'.

She fidgets, grimacing. Maybe it was the company of Hajime Hinatas elder twin.. After all, he was quite perceptive of others. Earlier that day, he had sincerely ripped apart Soda's new machine he built to perfect on it, leaving the mechanic downtrodden.

Which, she was grateful for, though it was.. strange how quick the action was. As if it took him no time at all to find the Ultimate's faults and perfect it.

Though, at least the humbling action would give Soda some time to reflect on things and not rely on just his talent-

"Wait up! Usami said we should stick together, yes?"

Sonia began to dash after- deciding to not linger on the truly frightening aspects that made up Izuru Kamukura, and to try and experience the spooktastic events Usami had lined up..

...Which would probably not be up to par with Sonias usual tastes of horror, but hey, the rabbits trying, ya know?

Bread in hand, Sayori finally left her house. It's been a while since she's been outside for a reason other than grocery shopping. But surprisingly, the girl got a random spark of motivation, and some old bread that she had no intention of eating.

And thus, Sayori made her way to a nearby park. She sat on one of the benches near the giant pond, opened her bag of bread and starting throwing pieces towards the ducks, and into the water.

This absence of anything important should be calming... So why was it impossible for her to feel that way?

Despite the bright smile on her face, there was something bothering her. A nagging feeling that, even during summer vacation, she was wasting her time.

Right when she was about to fall down that rabbit hole however, she noticed a figure approach. Looking over, there was one thing that immediately stood out to Sayori...

'Wow... She's really pretty!'

Still... not expecting the stranger to initiate any kind of conversation, Sayori stayed silent and with the same bright smile as before, continued feeding the animals.

In the wonderous court of her royal highness Sonia Marie Nevermind, a festival most grand is taking place, the newly minted Queen is celebrating her first year on the throne, after her parents died in the revolution, and she nearly lost her head, it was awhile before she could regain her nation and become Sonia I. She looks around at the guests of honor. The food looked quite good, they had traditional dancers, peasants and nobles (what was left of them), all mingled together. Her fair blue eyes spot you, her esteemed guest in the crowd as she beckons you forth to join her.

An old meme buried in my blog somewhere idk - No Longer Accepting!

She'd been so sure that she'd had the dormitory floor kitchen to herself. With a closed door and music streaming from her mobile phone, Sonia had created the perfect holiday atmosphere to bake. Or at least, make a giant mess that caused the Ultimate Princess to swear in about a dozen different languages. Maybe it was her inappropriate verbal outburst that had prompted Kazuichi to peek his head in.

"Soda-san!" Sonia cried out in surprise, whirling around to face him. The green apron she wore had done little to protect her and her clothes from the array of ingredients: stains of various colors now adorned it, with stripes and smudges of red and green icing, dark chocolate, and white flour and sugar adorned her hands, her arms, her face, and even sections of her hair despite tying it back with a coordinating green ribbon. There was no better way to say it: Sonia Nevermind looked like a mess.

As did her Christmas cookies, or her attempt at them: half-mixed batter still clung to the beaters of the electric stand mixer, melted chocolate dripped from the corner of a counter, and burnt charcoal vaguely shaped like trees, snowflakes, reindeer, and more stuck to several metal baking sheets with melted, caramelized sugar pooling below them. At least she'd managed to crack a window open, or the smell of inedible holiday dreams was enough to make her eyes water and her nose and throat itch.

"I...I can explain..." She began. Though for the first time, she seemed to be at a loss for words of the most appropriate and concise way to convey her feelings regarding her current situation. It was easy to dismiss him when he'd salivated over her, insisting she was perfect. Now that she was so very clearly not, Sonia found herself tongue-tied. She'd wanted him to understand she had faults, but not like this. Not in something that normal people did easily. That anyone could do, that people and homes and friends and families did all over the world without incident: bake Christmas cookies.

"Well no, I suppose I cannot," She admitted with a sigh, pushing a freed lock of hair out of her face. A little more melted sprinkles would be added to her unruly hairstyle in the process. "It is just that I simply wished to bake the Christmas biscuits, or cookies, for the upcoming class holiday party! And Hanamura-san so kindly allowed me to borrow some of his kitchen tools and now not only have I used up all the ingredients, I have nothing to show for it but having ruined said tools! Everyone is going to be so very upset!"

Though likely not as upset as Sonia herself was. The frantic tone in her voice continued to raise, panicked, as tears formed at the corners of her eyes. Her hands balled into fists, clutching the material of her apron within them. No matter how hard she tried, she could not cook even the simplest recipes. Even the jovial tones of 'Jingle Bell Rock' on her mobile phone did little to brighten her mood. If she didn't truly need the device, she'd have chucked it out the window as soon as she'd opened it for ventilation: the cheery carols only served to mock her situation. That she couldn't even celebrate Christmas like a normal person.

What a complicated week it had been. By all accounts, it should have been as any other week - better, perhaps, for the outing planned with Sonia to see the Ji-yeon's concert at Waseda University. It shouldn't have been - and wasn't, truly - any great surprise that some of her suitors would be lined up, intent on some sort of post-White Day date, and while Shinobu wasn't especially interested, she'd acquiesced to at least a handful of the offers. The dates were, naturally, boring at best, and disastrous at worth, but they'd never truly expected anything different.

All the while, though, it was hard not to let her thoughts drift to Sonia, and to what had happened on the holiday itself. Of course, Shinobu had desired no credit for herself. There was no reason to make themselves the center of attention, or act in such a way that would lead to misunderstandings. Her goal was, and had always been, to simply do something kind for Sonia - something that acknowledged her interests and hobbies, and perhaps made her feel seen in a way that she might otherwise not be.

And yet to see that Reserve Course student, Hasegawa, take the credit and use it as a springboard to ask Sonia out, so shamelessly taking credit for Shinobu's gesture... Those violent urges that flickered like flames beneath the layers upon layers of ice had refused to be ignored. It was entirely possible that she'd broken Hasegawa's nose, and while she'd been glad for any restraint, there was some part of Shinobu Yaguchi that wished she could have removed her own leash long enough to kick out a few of his teeth, or blackened his eyes until they were swollen shut.

How violent. How brutal. They were a wretched, loathsome, monstrous thing that could barely be called human. A dozen ways they could have handled the situation, and yet they'd chosen violence, and not even had the decency to regret it. Those thoughts, self-loathing, were only tempered by a question that had yet to resolve itself - why did it so upset her? Yes, Hasegawa's lie was pitifully self-serving, and no, Shinobu didn't want Sonia to be misled by any boy, let alone the type who would speak about her as some sort of status symbol or accessory, as Hasegawa had. But, Sonia was brilliant and thoughtful - not at all the sort of person to fail to see through such transparent motives. Petty, personal revenge, then? Simply seeing Hasegawa's actions as imposing upon Shinobu's own life, and desiring to punish him for it? Even that seemed to fit less than she'd like.

She'd need to put aside that answerless question, for the time being, and focus instead on the night ahead. They'd texted Sonia ahead of time, letting her know when they would be arriving to pick her up, and had set about running their errands. A text to Ji-yeon went unanswered, with Shinobu assuming that she was busy preparing, but she hoped that the emotions somehow reached her regardless. It was rare, of course, that Shinobu Yaguchi spent a night out without romantic context, so she was determined to ensure that things went smoothly. Transit plans had already been decided upon, in being driven to the venue by some of Sonia's attendants. A bit much for the archer, perhaps, who would prefer the subway, but for a variety of reasons, it was important to consider Sonia's situation with far more weight.

The dormitories at Hope's Peak Academy weren't difficult to navigate, being in how often they spent time with Anzu, there. Furthermore, Sonia's suite was rather hard to miss. With gentle hands, they knocked upon her door, their typically stern expression softening as they saw her. "Miss Nevermind, hello. Are you ready to leave, or do you need more time? I don't mind waiting, and I imagine we'll be early, regardless." She looked so gorgeous that again, Shinobu felt that feeling of having the breath stolen from her lips. Again, her heart seemed unable to pick a side - beating loud and fast to the degree that she could feel it inside her head, or stopping altogether. That sort of thing seemed to be happening with increasing frequency. Perhaps she was ill.

For her part, Shinobu thought she looked alright, as well, wearing a navy three-piece suit in a women's cut with the jacket left open and the sleeves gently pushed up, and uncharacteristically lacking a tie. Having recently dyed her hair again, the red was deeper and richer than usual, reflecting the color of her eyes, which were themselves surrounded by a small splash of red makeup, as well as Shinobu's typically sharp eyeliner. In place of her usual earrings were a pair of neat diamond studs, borrowed from Anzu, and a silver ear cuff that was, perhaps, slightly more formal than the austere black rings she typically wore near the tip of her left ear. Even their nails were painted, with a blue finish that paired well with their suit.

While not carrying a bag, her hand was occupied with a small bundled bouquet of yellow roses, fresh and slightly fragrant. "You look lovely, by the way." As she always did, but to let the moment pass without compliment seemed faintly incorrect. "And, I'm both glad and appreciative that you were able to make tonight's event work alongside your schedule." Hasegawa could have his ill-gotten date, built upon a stolen gift and a liar's words. It was only something like their friendship, hers and Sonia's, that could be important enough to rearrange such a schedule. "I hope it wasn't too troublesome. I'm aware your time doesn't always come easily, so I hope you know how greatly I value your company, and your companionship, Miss Nevermind."

Sonia was very excited, she was finally introducing two of her friends to each other. She thought it would be a good idea cause they seemed to have similar interests, and both were probably equally as eccentric. It wasn't often she had time to introduce her friends to each other, and she could only hope that they would get along.

Besides, neither of them were really good at socializing with people, so she thought they'd understand each other better.

Upon their first meeting, Fischl was definitely nervous, Gundham looked intimidating, like a dark sorcerer, and the way he spoke only added fuel to the fire.

"Greetings young one, I assume you are the benevolent princess I was told about? The Dark Princess Sonia, has told me much about you."

Fischl had never met someone as eccentric as her, she wasn't sure what to say. She quickly bows, curtsying formally, like a real princess would.

"Good Evening, I am Princess Fischl, it is an honor to meet you. You are... The Supreme Overlord of Ice, yes?" She remembered Sonia saying something about that to her. It's what first sparked her interest in Gundham.

They seemed to hit it off great at first, Fischl could live out her roleplay without embarrassment or fear, and Gundham seemed to actively defend her from judgment, seeming really convinced by her act. In fact, Fischl could often find herself daydreaming about her and Gundham ruling the world together, dark and light, in perfect harmony.

And it seemed the Gundham had thought the same, and of course, it was in the most eccentric way possible.

"My benevolent princess, my Four Dark Divas of Destruction have alerted me that our harmony may be more than a simple alliance. I believe the universe had made us for each other." Fishcl couldn't help but notice how he stuttered while still trying to keep his act up, using his scarf to cover his face. "The universe as created us to bring true balance to the world, Your light will keep the darkness at bay, my darkness will scare people into the light. With you by my side, there may still be hope for this pitiful planet."

Fischl was hesitant, what he said may very well be true, but, she was far younger than him, she knew nobody would truly understand what they have, and as she expressed that to him, Gundham dismissed it. "The universe would never make two halves of a whole just to keep them apart," he said.

And with that, their fate was sealed, the light to his darkness, and the dark to her sunlight. And of course, Gundham insisted that they tell Sonia about their new relationship, "She had aided in drawing out shared fate".

Even with Fischl's hesitance, she agreed, surely Sonia would understand, and in fact, she did.

Little did they know, Sonia had predicted this outcome from the start!

I was one of the few KND members to retain her memories. I refused to join the adults or teenage ninjas. I have is 2 older sisters, not to mention he even also have an American cousin, and even the fact I was no longer in KND anymore, but the past I was once the KND Operative but now a TND and G:KND member for now at the same time.

I was secretly joining the secret yet new organization called the G:TND since I was a teenager and I love aliens also space was cool though.

F/O Ask Game - Sonia and Gundham

Very excited to introduce my new F/Os Sonia Nevermind and Gundham Tanaka from Dangonranpa 2 (and to a lesser extent, my new S/I for this AU, the cooler version of me, Damien)

💋 [KISS]- What love language does your F/O have? What about you? And how do y’all express it to each other?

Sonia would probably be giving and receiving gifts… she's not materialistic or anything but she does come from, you know, money and particularly likes to give gifts. She also is a great cook, and quite crafty, so those gifts aren't always purchased but are often made. Gundham and I often try and give her and make her gifts and it's often a disaster but she's so sweet and appreciative of it always. 

Gundham's love language would be quality time, I think, he doesn't connect with many people so the people he does connect with he likes to really foster that connection. Which means lots of group dates! 

My love language is acts of service, receiving and giving. I tend to get overwhelmed with stuff so if Sonia and Gundham chip in and do stuff for me once in a while if I'm too busy it's always nice. Also, if i see something that needs doing, I like to do it for them as well. 

🌹 [ROSE]- What flowers (or plants in general) would you compare your F/O to? 

Honestly as corny as it sounds, Sonia would be a rose. White rose. She's real pretty, but she's also tough like the rose's thorns, and uses those thorns to protect those she loves.

💄 [LIP STICK]- What’s your favorite kind of date to go on with your F/O? Or what’s their favorite kind of date to go on with you?

Any date hehe as long as we're together. It is nice going on one on one dates sometimes but if we're talking about our favourite kind, we're all together. Probably going to like a nice park, climbing trees, messing around, going to a market and buying crystals, getting ice cream, etc..

🎃 [PUMPKIN]- What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate with your F/O? Or, what’s their favorite holiday to celebrate with you?

Halloween obviously!

🐹 [HAMSTER]- Do you and your F/O have a pet? If not, what pet would you like to have with them, or why wouldn’t you want a pet at all?

Hehe yes 4 hamsters - Sun-D, Maga-G, Jum-P, and Cham-P - as well as our cute little Pomeranian puppy, Snowy, hehe

🍯 [HONEY]- What flavors or scents do you associate with your F/O? Or, what flavors/scents would they associate with you?

Hmm… Sonia smells literally like roses… smell associations for Gundham is that smell when rain is about to fall? And also, if you ever smell something that's clean and fluffy, and it sort of smells like something but also smells like nothing at the same time, that's Gundham. 

🌟 [STAR]- How do you and your F/O prepare for bedtime? Do you stay up watching TV until you fall asleep? Do you cuddle endlessly? Etc?

Either do a shared activity or we are all just chilling and calming down before going to bed doing our own thing. We all eventually climb into our specially designed polyamory bed, that has curtains around the framing very fancy, and we all cuddle pile until we sleep. 

🍃 [LEAVES]- What’s your favorite season to go on walks with your F/O? Why?

Autumn because the leaves falling and it's cold and very aesthetic. 

👖 [JEANS]- Do you ever wear your F/O’s clothes? How does it feel when you do, and have they caught you doing it before?

I don't really steal Sonia's clothes hehe I occasionally steal her bow if I'm feeling more feminine and she is always VERY excited and gushes over how pretty I am hehe. Gundham though, I steal his clothes more often, either his scarf or his coat. He tends to be a bit grumbly about it, but I don't think he minds, because he never asks for it back and he always blushes when he sees it.

🫐 [BLUEBERRIES]- What aesthetic do you associate with your F/O (or your general dynamic with them)?

Gothic witchcraft with a healthy spoonful of stupid decisions

👾 [SPACE INVADERS]- Do you play games with your F/O (board games, video games, other games)? If so, what do you play, and how do those playing sessions go?

Yes! Gundham is awful at video games but he always has fun, Sonia can get very competitive in combat based games. We love playing animal crossing together - our vision of the island lines up quite well, and so we don't have to argue much about it hehe. It's really fun just relaxing and playing together. We also play board games sometimes! Usually when there's a power outage though haha.

🔮 [CRYSTAL BALL]- What’s your dream future with you and your F/O (for example, where do you wanna live? would you like kids)? Think of this question as explaining your ideal happily-ever-after with them!

Living in either an absurd gothic castle or a rustic little cottage that isn't far from the markets.

Animal crossing if the powers on, cuddling, reading to each other, playing board games, giving our pets an extra amount of attention!
