this show is so funny bc in every other bl people are like "wow that's a lot of gay people" and in this show that's kinda irrelevant and it's more like "wow that's a lot of children adopted by the same special-alpha-trafficking mafia daddy"

This isn鈥檛 an actual criticism I don鈥檛 think but now that I鈥檓 getting beyond Making Your Name 6 it鈥檚 kind of hilarious that I am the only scholar of the correspondence in all of Fallen London and this makes me a special academic star and the toast of the town but also everyone I follow on Tumblr is the singular expert in the correspondence as well.

I simply think it鈥檚 beautiful that Charles once again showed why he is the shining hope of so many tifosi with his beautiful overtaking and his words of encouragement to the team at the end of what must be another frustrating race in a frustrating season. he drives in a way that continues to move people, to have them hold their breath. in a way that keeps the dreams of victory alive even when it seems like Sisyphean task.聽
it must have been a hard race for the entire team as well, with Carlos starting on pole then so quickly out of the race altogether because of another. it must have been frustrating for Charles in the car, knowing the pace can be even better but compromising to prevent tyre degradation because of the car鈥檚 faults. yet, at the end of it, he speaks on the team radio like a true leader. he is humble, still and always, never forgetting to highlight that gratitude of being able to drive for ferrari. but he also deftly pushes the team on. we need to do better. we have to keep pushing. we have to keep working, and one day, (hopefully soon, next year,) we will win.聽
I think a lot of pundits have ragged on about his mentality very unfairly over the season. but it鈥檚 no question to me that he is already a leader at ferrari. a young one that still has capacity to grow even greater still, yes. but it does him a great disservice to pretend otherwise. I think that tp Ferrari, faced with all frustration of not securing a title, pent up since 2008, Charles really is Polaris, a star that continues to shine against all the darkness and guides the way home.聽
