Things I didnt expect when i switched from my waveboard to a skateboard: The grip tape is rubbing off the skin off my tumbs and I kinda need to tape them before it gets bad enought to bleed

#maybe its not a problem if you are a more carefull person #to be fair i dont really mind my hands bleeding much but Id rather it not be the opposing finger because of something i can easily prevent #skating #.. yeah this is lowkey because of sk8 the infinity #anyway maybe it doesnt have if your fingers are rougher also? The closest thing i have to caluses are from holding a pen pencil too long #so like. drawer hands arent good for that. partly because drawers have handles and not hands #like trust me i expect a wide variety of potential injuries #so far ive only gottena barely skinned knee #but also i hit my ankles with the both several times yesterday #today i somehow managed to instead hit the shin of ny eight foot instead. no i dont know how #i needed more bandages due to my shoes #/kinda destroyed my previous black shoes last fall and then decided it was a good idea to not put on socks with the new ones/ #/usually that wouldnt be that bad but those are absolute fuckers that i didnt get oversized/ #/yes ive taped up my entire heel with more then one layer. yes i needed to put a bandage on my pinkie. im not sure if i got blood on the #shoe before i dealt with it. yes i shouldve also taped the other side of my foot.. #its not a problem withhe shoe size but with dumb edges and stiching on the side of the shoe company/
