KITTENS!!!! they're all so cute :') and I'm so glad that Bub and Willowsplash have the opportunity to be parents, i think they're going to be fantastic at it.

yes, Frogkit is (vaguely) intended to be reincarnated Lee. i went with Frog instead of Leaping, just because neither Jaycall or Beefreckle was close enough with Lee that they'd name one of their kids after him, so the Frog thing is just an accident. he does have vitiligo, and is the first Fallenclan cat to have it!!! you'll have to be patient with me while i figure out exactly how i want to draw it. he's actually a much darker color as a 1 month old for some reason??? i was under the impression that they get More White not the other way around. idk, i'm just gonna use the little dude's sprite as a reference for how much white to give him as time goes on.

and yes, Spiderkit is named after Spiderclaw. Beefreckle wants to honor his brother's memory, i think.

Moon 1

Already starting off strong with interesting things happening! The medicine cat immediately getting pregnant in moon 1 was not on my Clangen bingo card but hey new kits soon!

Hello and welcome to CutieClan, my ClanGen project! You can call me Foxy (she/her). I am illustrating the events of CutieClan, starting at Moon 0. I'll be posting a new comic page every week or so and starting out doing one moon at a time.

I was heavily inspired by other blogs such as FallenClan and SporeClan! I won't tag them just yet since I am only starting out, but I want to do fanart of their cats in the near future so I'll tag them then :3

I haven't touched tumblr in many years, and I am still figuring out how to draw cats consistently, so this will be a learning experience in several ways. I hope you will enjoy watching my progress and getting to know the cats of CutieClan as the weeks go on!

To get us started, here's all the Founding Cats profiles! Since I am still learning to draw cats, I decided to simply redraw the game sprites for their profiles. I tried to give each cat a unique design and features reflecting their personality!

I am unsure what day of the week new pages will be posted just yet, but expect the Moon 0 page to be posted in the next few days to kick off the new year!

So this was originally was going to be the normal fire scene, but then I started thinking about Ashes and Ashfur turned into Brambleclaw. I guess this also a remake of the art I made like a year ago.  I put her three kits she adopted from Leafpool in and I aged them up a bit so they’re around apprentice age. I’m pretty proud of the background. I might take it and use to create the normal fire scene later.

Moon 4, Part 1

Here's the first part of this week's update! I wanted to have the rest completed today, but I struggle with chronic wrist pain and wasn't able to get it finished in time, so I will post the rest sometime this week. Thank you for your patience! Snailpaw is apprenticed to Fawnstar, Crowheart has a cool scar, and Sunkit is making her parent proud. More to come soon! I'll be posting Snailpaw's new ref and the two kit's first refs in the coming days to hold you guys over until I am able to do the second half of Moon 4. :3

Would it be crazy to ask for Rainstripe/Frozentangle hypo-kits? Frozentangle had an unrequited crush at one point, didn’t she?

Man, imagine if FrozenRain had been canon. Would Rainstripe still be dead? I mean, probably, that feels like the Canon Event in this timeline. I guess that would mean her antagonizing of Fogtail would be more justified...

BUT ANYWAYS, THE KITS-

Snailkit is her mom made over. She always, always feels like she has something to prove, and has a huge rivalry with her brother Thistlekit. She would probably mellow out as she got older, and one day might have been a Snailstar. Warrior name would be... Snailshell.

Thistle is a grumpy little guy with a sharp tongue and big ego. He and Ivyshine would absolutely despise each other, or they would want to date. It would probably depend on the day. His warrior name would probs be something like Thistlethroat?

Storm is a timid little baby, which irritates her older siblings to death. She's scared of everything, from bugs to the borders, and the very idea of fighting makes her sick to her stomach, but so does the idea of seeing sick cats with gross wounds. She might've become a mediary, like her mom? Her name probably would have been Stormsong, or Stormshadow?
