reading the responses to the post about biphobia is exactly the thing i was talking about in my tags. i didn't want to derail the post, but the fact that some bisexuals think that bi and pan ppl can't coexist is crazy omg.

like it's not biphobic to prefer one label over the other.

it's not biphobic to define the labels differently and recongize that difference as the resoning for your decision of label.

it is NOT biphobic to validate and coexist with pan people.

and all of these are true, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE BI YOURSELF/THE PERSON YOU'RE CALLING BIPHOBIC IS BI.

anyway, the existence and support of pan people is not biphobic.

bi pan solidarity and all that <3

anyone else have, like, tiers of friendship?

not in the rude, "oh you thought we were close? well guess what" kinda way, but more so that every friend you've made didn't like you/put as much effort into you as you did them, so now you try to manage your expectations of friendship by means of "oh i'm not sure if this person is my friend. like idk if they'd agree with that, so they're more of an associate"

but then in the same breath, you have the ppl you know (hopefully) feel as close to you as you do them, so now you base all future friendships off of those criteria, which then increases the threshold for "true friendship"

and b/c of this, the process of making friends is much harder/lonelier b/c no one ever feels like your actual friend, just a person that you know?

no? just me? okay.

#all this to say #i'm annoyed that the ppl around me care so little about me when i care about them #like even if it's a little bit IT'S STILL A BIT #anyway whatever #i'm gonna go peer review my own essay now cuz none of my peers are sending me theirs #sketchychats #sketchyrants #bleh

like what do you mean you can just do all these things at the same time (or at all) and make all these friends and blah blah

and then the same ppl are like "wdym? it's not even that hard. it's basically impossible to not be able to do those things" but like YEAH IT IS??? LIKE I'M LIVING PROOF OF THAT???
