Wanderer has already signed his death wish once he accidentally fell head over heels for you, and it’s so frustrating how every single thing you do is so breathtaking to him—and he doesn’t even have a breath to begin with.

He’s so torn up about his feelings, a part of him wants to know how you feel about him, if you also stay up on cold nights wondering how your warm hand would feel against his cold skin, or the events of his travels with you replaying in his mind until he ultimately falls asleep.

Maybe he’ll never know that, because unfortunately for Wanderer, you’re the biggest idiot he’s ever met in his life. When the wanderer had accepted his newfound feelings for you, the only way he knew to react was to treat you with a meaner attitude. Yet his mannerisms were different—maybe even caring at times?

He has a habit of insulting people due to his huge superiority complex, but Wanderer just insults you whenever you do anything he finds attractive. Like, “Why are you smiling so much? It looks stupid on you.” or “What, are you just so happy to be in the presence of a creation the equivalent of a god? Wh— you are? …Shut up already, lowly human.”

His mean comments tread on the line of flirtatious overtime, and he grimaces whenever you just brush it off as his usual bitter personality. He’s weirdly good at finding back-handed ways to compliment you, “Your cooking tastes good, I bet I could do better, though.” and it pisses him off when you give him the same oblivious look every time—you idiot, when will you realize he adores every single thing about you?! Not like he’s been very apparent himself, though…

One time the Wanderer had picked some flowers and almost shyly handed you to them, anxiously waiting for your reaction as he held out the Sumeru roses in front of you “Hey, you like flowers, right? …Since you’ve done so much for me, here… ?! Why are you just gawking at me like that—? Take it already or I’m throwing them away.” Yet your response made the Wanderer want to dissolve right then and there, smiling and taking the bouquet from his hands, Wanderer nearly shivering at the faint contact of your fingertips against his.

“Thank you, Wanderer.”

“…Idiot.”

Oh archons, Wanderer’s really dug himself into a hole. And what’s even more frustrating is that you don’t even see any romantic intentions in the random flowers he gives you, something that had became a daily occurrence. But no way in hell was Wanderer gonna swallow his pride and straight up TELL you he likes you, he’d rather die than do that.

Tbh the progression of how much more romantic or affectionate his actions become is almost depressing to see, the only thing Wanderer receiving is a tilt of the head and a cute smile—not like that wasn’t enough of a reward for him, anyway, but those stupid horribly enchanting eyes of yours gave away how dense you were being to his feelings!!!!

At some point all of this has just been bubbling up under the surface of his chest, so on one fateful night, some of the Wanderer’s feelings finally slip past his lips. You had set up a campsite for the night, the calm fire that gurgled and popped emitting a kind warmth and light that perfectly reflected off your features—you looked really pretty right now, you always did. These thoughts regularly came to Wanderer’s mind, and he used to adamantly push them away, but he’s long accepted this horrible thing called ‘affection’— so these bubbling thoughts continued to drift and be pondered upon his mind.

“…You’re pretty.” he whispers

He watches you perk your head, turning to the man with wide-eyes from where he sat a reasonable distance away from you. “Huh?”

Wanderer scoffed, repeating himself louder this time “I said—you’re pretty.”

You paused, lips parted but the words fell dead on your tongue. He narrowed his eyes at you, he wasn’t gonna confess, not today, but he’s sick of seeing that dumb look on your face all the time.

“…Thank you?” he only grimaced more at your usual response.

“You know what I mean when I say that, right?”

You shook your head “Not really, but I’m glad that you don’t hate me as much as you used to.”

Now it was his turn to pause, that same dumbfounded look now on his face. Since when did you think he hated you? “Idiot, who said I hated you? I’m the same level as an omnipotent god, I could have discarded you a long time ago… and besides…”

“Besides what?”

The Wanderer bit his lip, why is he hesitating? Is he scared? No, no, that can’t be, you’re just a lowly human, is all, a beautifully wonderful human… “You’re, well, not horrible to talk to, and even if you act stupid sometimes I—

I have recently come to the conclusion that if my Genshin Impact account was self aware, my Bennet would be slightly even more unlucky than a regular Bennet. This is due to my birthday and since its coming up I've been brainrotting for the past few days. Let me explain:

Bennet's birthday is February 29th, aka Leap Year. This means Benny only has a real birthday once every four years, which is bad enough. But according to canonical game lore, when he doesn't have his actual birthday, he celebrates it on the 28th.

My birthday is February 28th.

Now, I'd like to think that in your typical SAGAU the creator's birthday is a BIG DEAL. I'm talking festivals, parades, feasts, gifts exchanged between friends and family as well as gifts offered to the creator! The whole nine yards! An entire world partying from sunrise to moonset.

So with this in mind, Bennet's birthday would either be celebrated the day after the biggest holiday party in Teyvat (meaning everyone who attends would be all partied out) or during my birthday (meaning that everyone would be focused on ME instead of Bennet, which is just unfair! He can't even take pride in being born the same day as the creator b/c he was born the day after!!!!).

Anyway, if I was isekai'd to Genshin and worshipped as a god, I would simply give Bennet his own holiday. Poor kiddo deserves a win and if it takes me telling my acolytes quote, "Everyone will to celebrate Bennet's holiday. No exceptions, no excuses. And if his holiday party doesn't end up a success, I will destroy all of Teyvat and then myself. :3c" then so be it. That last statement is a joke, but watching everyone try their absolute hardest to give my adopted little brother the best birthday possible would be worth the fear of the vague threat of the world's destruction in the eyes of my worshipers me thinks.

If you add to this brainrot, please feel free to ignore that last part if everyone panicking over the possibility of apocalyptic destruction makes you uncomfortable. Likewise, don't rush this out by my birthday if you don't have time. I'm also in college and have multiple assignments due both before and after my birthday so I know this upcoming week will be hellish in terms of academics. So don't push yourself, okay?

thank you!! and yes i usually have at least a vague idea of what i want in the story before i start, though a lot of it didn't become concrete until i started writing/things evolving from there. i made a big (slightly) vague timeline of the entire fic from beginning to (almost) end, and then i keep fleshing it out from there as the ideas keep coming to me/evolving, and for each chapter i make an even more detailed outline, and THEN i get started on the final chapter. so its a bit of a process bahaha, but the brainstorming is really fun!! as for any advice, im not sure. maybe just brainstorm/write down scenes and ideas that you know for a fact that you want to put in your fic, and then try to find a way to connect them to other scenes from there and work backwards. basically WRITE WHAT YOU WANT TO READ, cuz like im my own biggest fan fr, thats the most important part LMAO

LMFAO speaking of outlining future events.....this may or may not happen in the future/in an epilogue when clora is pregnant and she got those pregnant woman hormones that seb is fighting for his LIFE to keep up with HAHAHA

And ofc I'm gonna be the most vocal supporter of your art, I've watched you fucking BLOOM and then some over the what, 6 fucking years?? We've been friends. You're on a level I wanted to be at by now for as long as I can remember, so everything you make to me is breathtaking and I love how experimental you are with what you do because my dumb ass is SOOO annoyingly particular and precious about my art and it's a nightmare to put up with. I love seeing you pop off in ways I personally haven't (yet?), it genuinely inspires me to take a shot at it some day when I have the means.

[parasocial bestie] GOOD MORNING ALY BESTIE i saw ur reblog about love and it had me feeling things,... like gosh that being how i want out of xiaolumi but like??? pettiness has me comparing to common fanon a Lot but aside the shit i love thinking that xiao and lumine's 'love' doesnt feel so much like love, but theres something that leads up to it almost endlessly.

i sorta always like to joke myself in the middle of thinking brainrot angst how lumine constantly rejects herself that she likes xiao due to events that had her going to that revelation, not bc she fears of his rejection but the realization this 'like' doesnt feel like it fits her true feelings to him, a genuineness that doesnt sound complete and certain. like somehow, shes compensating. i have a tendency to voice out lumine's thoughts more than xiao simply bc she's more expressive and solid on her choices, but this is the only matter that she really REALLY felt unsure bc of how rocky her relationship with xiao had been, and how rocky xiao is himself.

its something she's willing to face if it meant he can feel better abt his life, but then also came the fact she prolly does this to make herself better too in having someone to fill the gap where aether had been. and thats never enough, no one has the right shape to fit her brother no matter how close they are, and thats not an exception to xiao.

i did have a small excerpt in my head to express this when paimon joked about how close they'd been, and "Paimon would've thought you really liked him!"

and instead of a comical rebuttal the fairy would just hear something so out of lumine. like a realisation shes resigned into, that she couldnt so anything about it. "... I do like him, Pai. I really,... really like him." ("and it's my biggest mistake to think that.")

like yknow,... like god yknow how personal it felt to me as an aromantic that the word "like" just feels much STRONGER than "love", and doing it to lmi. and the matter to xiao himself is a completely different story, bc while lumine is viewed how much her impression to xiao as a friend held by distance had turned out more than that, for xiao its a developing curiosity he learns about her more and more without counting how important she is to him. that already goes without saying xiao still values her, but its not the centerpoint, because his arc is about being guided.

though it does, in the end, he realizes the curiosity is a sign he 'responds' to lumine's 'like'. and that unfolds in their very last scene together (that got me giggling crying so much since its his ideal ending)

crenny brainrot

idk i normally dont post my thoughts here on tumblr but since im becoming active again i want to ramble on about my favorite crenny headcanons.

mostly because i have the agenda of embedding it to the crenny nation collective consciousness. i am a woman in a mission.

Disclaimer: these are literally headcanons with either 0 or the bare minimum canonical basis. its all for good fun pls don’t attack me for rambling about south park characters on main.

1. Kenny is an English gay, Craig is a Science gay || alt title: my craig is bad at english agenda.

I don’t need to explain myself but I’m GOING to explain myself. In the series Kenny is normally the point person whenever the boys don’t know the meaning of a certain term. That’s on rich vocabulary baybee! Ok but ALSO Kenny’s is legit good at English (e.g. When he wrote the boys a letter from Hawaii, His entire Princess Kenny cold open, his Mysterion dialogues)

And now Craig, sweet precious illiterate Craig. 

need i say more? 

Craig as a science gay just makes a lot of sense to me, bc duh...space...and stuff. Leave it to Craig to calculate the rate of xyz when abc, but if you ask him to write 1 (one) single essay he will slap you. 

I love contrasting my Crenny bc that’s their primary appeal for me! I’m on that stem student x liberal arts student agenda.

2. Kenny loves his town! (Craig is on the Fence) 

It’s a really common crenny trope for them to hate the fuck out of South Park, which leads to countless runaway fics (which I ADORE, keep making them.) But you know when I thought about it, Kenny’s definitely the type to love South Park (and its inhabitants) from the Bottom of his heart.

Dude he literally took on the role of Mysterion to protect the town from the shadows (he’s been doing it for Months???), He sacrificed himself in the South park movie just to bring back things to normal. This man. Loves. His. town. 

I think Kenny’s the type to be all “Come with me, I’ll show you my secret spot.” Then have like 17 secret spots around the town. He definitely knows stuff like the quickest route to school or the best spot for stargazing. All that. 

Now Craig. I could see why he’d hate the town TBH. And that offers a nice counterbalance to Kenny (a comic is forming in my mind as we speak.)

I want Kenny to teach Craig how to love the town (kenny voice “you’re just not experiencing the town the right way!”) and I want Craig to call out Kenny (craig voice “maybe you’re just romanticizing the idea of the town because you’re scared of letting go of the last bits of your childhood”) AHAHAHAHA. Idk Man, it would be a nice dynamic to study.

lmao i just realized that most of my headcanons are just contrasting crenny. IDC!

3. manlet kenny and taaaaall craig

yall KNOW ive been on that short Crenny agenda since day 1!

BUT! but! BUT! this goes deeper. because of course im going to ramble on about this. 

*clears throat*

Craig tries to occupy as little space as possible, Kenny tries to occupy the biggest space possible.

BAM! Visual and Thematic Interest! 

I can imagine it now, Craig keeping his limbs as close to himself. Kenny stretching out his arms trying to “take more sunlight and air!” 

I like the idea of Kenny being small but no one really thinks he’s small because he carries himself like a large person. Sometimes he’d just stand up and Craig would see the top of his head and go “oh wow i forgot that you were a foot shorter than me for a split second.”

Fun stuff.

4. Mole placements because I’m a graphic design student and this is the type of shit that appeals to me.

As yall know I draw Craig with a mole under his eye and Kenny with a mole under his lip. Want to know why? Visual interest BAYBEE. Have i told you that I’m a graphic design STUDENT. 

I like it because it leads your eyes from Craig’s face to Kenny’s face or vice versa. It adds a sense of movement to any of my crenny pieces. 

Also I noticed how most crenny fics focus on how striking Craig’s eyes are and I think it’s just fitting to add a lil mole to accent it. 

As for kenny, I’m on that...........kenny kissable lips agenda.......I hc his mole to be less noticeable but MAN once you notice, it’s all you see. I can just imagine Craig going fucking crazy once he realize that there’s a mole under Kenny’s lips.

5. Craig and Kenny are innately perceptive || alt title: Crenny Bluetooth Couple

This is kinna one of my tenet headcanons. Like my entire crenny characterization hinges on this one headcanon. 

Okay get ready its DISSERTATION time. 

5A: The angst of it all

Craig and Kenny are both very perceptive. They notice. The different lies in the way they act on what they had notice.

Kenny’s an empath so he tries the best to subtly help the people around him when noone else can. Stan having a bad day? Kenny would stay with him. Kyle’s pissed off more than usual? Kenny would crack jokes he knows Kyle would laugh at. etc.etc.

Craig is very pragmatic. If it doesn’t affect him, he won’t bother. But with Kenny he just can’t help but be so concerned. 

He notices it when somethings off with Kenny. He’d notice when Kenny’s disoriented (after dying and not knowing how reality warped or sum). He’d notice when Kenny’s tired (after working overtime at city wok). He’d notice how Kenny would look at his friends lunches.

What pisses Craig the most is how Kenny just, smiles through it all. Craig’s so frustrated with how Kenny’s own friends are too caught up with their shit that they can’t notice telltale signs. 

And so he finds himself gravitating towards Kenny. Inviting Kenny to join his Wide-angle lens show after he got rejected for looking too poor. Offering to be his partner during school trips. 

5B: craigs cold hard exterior = kennys happy go lucky attitude

Craig and Kenny don’t express their true emotions. 

But the difference is: Craig doesn’t show his because he doesn’t feel  the need to. Kenny doesn’t show his because he has to. 

BAM! Interest!

Kenny has to be strong. To not worry his siblings or friends. So he just pushes through and hides it all with his hedonistic facade. 

Craig’s just.....idk he just doesn’t want 2 show his emotions for funsies idk what’s up with him. 

I like how on the surface they seem like polar opposites but fundamentally they are the same. (bc theyre soulmates)

5C: Reading craig

Kenny’s one of the few people who mastered the language of Craiganese. Alongside Ruby, Clyde, and Token. 

Kenny’s skill was innate tho and it pisses off Clyde so much.

Clyde learned how to read Craig after years of being his closest friend. It took a lot of trial and error, but he’s proud that he can understand Craig’s mood and all that.

But then comes Kenny who can read Craig immediately! What the heck! Unfair!

5D: Bluetooth couple

which leads me to the point. 

It’s funny.

It’s just funny I can imagine Crenny having entire conversations just by looking at each other.

yes yes more brainrot please!! warning, this paragraph is just me rambling lol okok anyways mmm yes to everything you wrote but also how they hug you!! like okok going into my personal life, I’m a small bean (fun fact! I’m 4’11 and a neurologist told me I’m never going to hit 5’0”😭) and the boys are over 6’0” like??? i have childhood friends (coincidentally, twin boys who have a similar build to the Miya twins) who are over 6’0” and when they hug me they just kinda fold over me and it’s just an all encompassing hug🥺🥺 I haven’t seen them in over a year tho bc corona so this is just coming from my memories lol but anyways!! going back to our boys, I headcanon that their hugs would be just like that but even more so?? bc romantic relationships🥰🥰 n e ways, imagine back hugs while you’re cooking dinner with them after a long day and they just kinda drape themselves on you like the world’s heaviest blanket and won’t let you go to cook until whatever is on the stove begins to burn, or back hugs while you’re cooking breakfast and they sleepily nuzzle into your neck and leave little pecks on your shoulder that’s exposed bc of how oversized their shirt is on you, or you come surprise them at practice and they just sprint over and full body hug you (lifting you up and spinning you while holding you as close to them as possible) and you can’t even complain about how sweaty they are bc you’re reminded of how genuinely they love you and just hugs🥺🥺 sorry for the long ramble haha I just have so much love for these boys aaa but also I’m glad my last brainrot helped provide inspo for you🥰

OKAY WAIT I thought I was done but love letters!! (this was originally in the same paragraph but it got really long so im making it a second one sorry babes) but omg imagine them handwriting you love letters just because and I say love letters but really I guess I mean notes? (I count those as love letters tho don’t clown me 🥺) some of them are like two sentences clowning you for forgetting your umbrella leaving your house(“remember to bring your umbrella next time because ya look like a drowned rat, sweetheart”) and some of them are little reminders to drink water/eat/sleep, but on some occasions, sometimes on your actual important dates (birthdays, anniversaries) but also sometimes randomly, you’ll get a romantic ass letter talking about all the reasons why they love you and it’s all the little things you do, the small mannerisms that make you, you, like (“I adore the way your curl into me and cling to me when you’re sleepy, as if my lap is the only place you ever want to be” and “the way your tongue always slips to the corner of your mouth when you concentrate is the cutest thing ever, baby” and “the way you do everything you can to support me makes me fall even further into love with you (and I’m never going to stop loving you)” and “I know you think I think you’re crazy for colour coding your document folders, but really, I love how passionate you are about your organization system”) and I’m just dying please i want this to happen in real life🥺🥺 and omgomgomg this would be the cutest thing buT THERES MORE !! imagine that they write you love letters, all throughout your relationship, but they don’t give them to you until either your anniversary or your wedding and it’s just a massive compilation of all the thoughts they’ve had of you throughout the years, your dates, and even the unofficial crushing phase 🥺🥺 ngl I swear that there’s at least one letter talking about how frustrating it is that “you’re so cute, I can’t even coneventrate at practice >:( it’s all your fault that kita-san is lecturing me but you’re cute so I guess it’s okay” like hbshh baby please😭

i’m small too! not as small as you, but i’m 5’1 ans in love with that idea 🥺🥺 more brainrot though! okay okay, so lemme raise you this: hugs after they haven’t seen you in a while. LIKE HEAR ME OUT. so the boys travel, all of the time, for volleyball and games. and the olympics isnt hosted in the same country two years in a row! so i imagine the boys going away for a few weeks for it, and as much as you wanted to be there, you’d told them you wouldn’t be able to, for job related purposes. and like they understand, but they wished you could be there, bc ofc ofc they want you cheering them on. so, they’re at the olympics and they’re getting ready to start, when they spot you standing next to Hajime (either next to the coaches or in a special spot, so you stood out.) and the biggest grin breaks out on their face when they see you waving and cheering for them. and whenever the game is over and they’re able to get to you, baby is sprinting. he catches you and just easily lifts you up in his arms, showering your face in kisses. yes, he’s sweating, yes, it’s gross, but you don’t care, because he looks like an excited puppy, because you’re here and you’re his. and now everyone is staring and everyone knows that you’re his and that’s never going to change. then, he brings you to his teammates, showing you off with a proud smile and they all have a knowing smile because this is not the first time he’s done this. but it’s sweet so they deal with it.

and omg yes!! that’s the cutest thing ever! i love that so much. 🥺🥺 istg im taking notes for drabbles later, baby. that is so cute!

but also like (one of my love languages is gifts) so like. the boys aren’t used to the random items you leave. in their locker, in their gym bag, in their hoodie/jacket, when you give it back to them. they don’t know how to react at first to the gifts, which range. sometimes it’s their favorite energy drinks, sometimes it’s a new game, sometimes a stuffed animal, jewelry, or something sentimental, it all just depends. sometimes they’ll give you a gift in return, but you also let them know that they don’t have to, it’s just your way of showing you love them, and you just genuinely enjoy giving them gifts.
