Willow Creek Save File Hey everyone! 🌷

For those of you who've been searching for my Willow Creek save file since my old blog went offline, I've got some good news! I've decided to make it easier to access by uploading it to Patreon.

Now, I've noticed that the old save file was causing some crashes, likely due to its age. But fear not! I've taken the time to update it, so it should run smoothly now. Plus, I have plans to keep it fresh by adding new content and tweaking other worlds to amp up the realism factor.

So, how do you get your hands on it? It's simple:

Just download the save file.

Then, place it in your "saves" folder, which you can find in your "The Sims 4" directory.

If you get a prompt asking if you want to replace a save file, hit cancel. Instead, rename the save file from "Slot_0000000b" to something like "Slot_0000001b" (you can only change the numbers, don't touch the letters).

And that's it! If you encounter any issues with the save file, don't hesitate to drop a comment and let me know. Your feedback helps me make improvements.

NOTE: This save file is NOT Basegame Friendly. It uses MANY packs, as I own them all

EDIT 1/28 - forgot to mention, I disabled aging and autonomy while I was working on the file. PLEASE re-enable it if you wish.

I included most of the details in a PDF on the save file, so I dont want to clutter this area too much. I'll touch on the basics:

Holidays: There is a holiday, everyday. Participation not required ofc

Clubs: Over 20 new clubs available! Some are very punny, I made myself laugh. anyway...

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ All CC you need is included, but mods are LINKED instead of added so that you are all able to update them when there's a patch.

**There are over 150 townies in the 'other households' tab. If your game CANNOT handle so many townies, simply delete some of them, preferably the homeless ones so that all your homes aren't empty.**

SAVE FILE - with all packs!

Guys, my baby is born hahaha

that's why I stopped posting. I was setting up this base save file for myself because I have this problem where I'm constantly starting a new save file and it drives me nuts to give townies makeovers all over again.

So I did it and I tried to added some basic lore to the basegame premades and added a few new townies (not much because I hate save files packed with sims I don't know haha)

And for some reason people like my sims, so I decided to share this save file with everyone, only with game content, besides skinblends and blushes on my sims (they are attached too in case you want your sims looking nice, but if you don't, you won't miss much. Your sims won't be bald or naked, don't worry)... the rest of the sims are just game content (I'm using all packs, no restriction).

Another thing I want to add to this is: I changed almost all lots from the earliers packs and also addded a few new ones so the sims have places to go. The builds ARE NOT MINE, I'm incapable to build (Only the Munches and Villareal's homes... that I built and I'm sorry). I placed my favorite builds there. I tried to not download heavier lots so everyone can add this to their game, but be aware that it might now run smoothly for everyone (you can just delete what you don't want :)). 

Honestly I didn't went crazy with sims families. I really want everyone to be able to enjoy this save file! I put a few families that are characters in my story (not premades) and created three new families and that's it. Because everytime I tried a new save file and there was a lot of sims and builds I got overwhelmed and never touched the save again (lol). So I really tried to make this good for you guys too!

Slowly putting the first neighbourhood together and imho it looks sooooo nice! Just as I’ve imagined 😌

Also, I’ve learned how to recolour objects in the Sims4Studio and make backdrops (like e.g. those mountains) buyable and actually visible in game, so… God, somebody stop me pls! 😂

Projet Oasis Springs par Menestrelle 🌵

Projet Oasis Springs 🌵 En Décembre 2022, j'ai décidé de tenter de rénover Oasis Springs et c'est désormais chose faite! Seule cette map est rénovée pour le moment, je mettrai à jour le fichier de sauvegarde lorsque d'autres mondes auront été rénovés.

Les terrains 🌵 La rénovation comprend 2 maisons à vendre, 2 terrains de location et les 7 lieux communautaires suivant - Une piscine - Une salle de sport - Un restaurant - Un magasin - Un bar à cocktails - Un parc - Une clinique vétérinaire Les foyers 🌵 28 Sims vivent à Oasis Springs, ils ont tous une histoire, une carrière, des points de compétences, des relations etc. Certains appartiennent même à des groupes. Les bases sont posées pour chacun d'eux et c'est à vous de voir quels chemins vous souhaitez leur faire prendre.

Les packs nécessaires 🌵 J'ai utilisé tout le contenu additionnel que j'ai en ma possession. Il est donc conseillé d'avoir tous les packs jusqu'à Grandir Ensemble inclus.

Mods et CC 🌵 J'ai utilisé plusieurs mods pour réaliser cette sauvegarde mais ils ne sont pas nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de celle-ci après téléchargement. Par contre les Sims ont tous des CC de peaux et d'yeux par défaut. Certains ont des petits CC en plus, si vous souhaitez tout avoir, tout les liens des CC sont sur ce Tumblr!

super quick tutorial on how to make the backdrops (aka as landmarks, those mountains, hills and stuff you see on the background of your sims world) buyable in Sims 4

I've used a mix of two tutorials I've found:

and here is my step-by-step process (each backdrop takes around 3 mins maximum to complete, so it is really fast):

Step 1.

Open up your Sims4Studio and use Objects category - Standalone recolor

Step 2.

Then you will see the objects from game to choose from. Make sure to check the "Debug items" checkbox and then start typing "matte" which persists in any backdrop name. You can limit the game expansion/pack you want to convert a backdrop from, so e.g. I was using the Snowy Escape one:

Step 3.

Click "Next" and name your package. Save it anywhere you will be able to easily find it, create a new folder or so. Then you will see the... IDK, panel? to edit your object. While you are in the "Studio" tab, you'd need to name your object as it will be named in game, and go to "Tags" sub-tab. First (I'm not sure it is really necessary, but I was doing that to make sure I'll see my object even without Live edit and Debug items turned on, so just remove the checkbox from "World objects" for that. Next scroll down a bit and apply a tag depending on in which category you'd like to see your object in game. I usually marked "Scrulpture" and "Misc" in the Decorations category. (just as on the 2 screenshots below)

Step 4.

This step is the most crucial part as otherwise you won't see the object in game even with those applied tags. Switch to "Warehouse" tab and there you need to find "Object Definition" and "Object catalog". See the screenshots below for more clarity.

Basically, in the "Object Definition" you need to find the "Tuning ID" on the right side. The author of the second tutorial explained "the why" more clear, but basically you need to state there a number of some other example object which is buyable and sellable in game. I used 14961, just as in his/her tutorial.

Next, in the Object Catalog you need to find "Dev Category flags" on the right side and change the last 3 digits to "080". Only the last 3 digits :)

And that's it :) Afterwards just click "Save" and move the created package to the game :) You'll see it if Custom Content is turned on :)
