apart from my suggestions below, there are a bunch of wedding resources out there already! here are some that i recommend looking at:

Bridal Gowns Set 2

A new set of wedding gowns from me! If you missed the first set from last year, it can be found here: Bridal Gowns Set 1.

Here is my second set of delicately detailed bridal gowns for The Sims 4 with meshes by @sifixcc​ of TSR as my canvas. This particular gown is based on the Elodie Gown (see further down on this page for a link to the mesh which you will need for my bridal gown to work in your game). The gown is made of silk with pearl embellishments plus lace trim and is fastened in back with a satin ribbon. In addition to traditional white, the gown is also available in powder blue, soft lavender, pastel pink, champagne, and sea foam.

Its Royal Wedding Dress Day!

Paparazzi were quick to surround the high end Culloden Bridal Boutique this afternoon as not 1, not 2, but 4 Royal ladies made their way into the shop to find HRH Princess Niamh’s wedding dress! The Princess Royal was joined by her mother, HM Queen Aisling, her sister-in-law Lucy Duchess of Glencoe, and finally, HRH Princess Belle Princess Royal from the Winden Territories. The two Princess Royals have been close friends ever since they met as teenagers on a shopping trip with other foreign Princesses in Champs Les Sims. The iconic moment in time dubbed the “Princess Party”.

All of the Royal women looked lovey for their trip to the dress shop, but Her Royal Highness Princess Niamh, the Bride-To-Be looked stunning in a pale pink dress with pink high heels.

Keen eyed fans will notice that she was wearing a pair of Sapphire earrings from the Royal Vault, a pair given to HM Queen Aisling by her father on her 15th Birthday. Perhaps these heirloom earrings are going to be Princess Niamh’s something blue?

Paparazzi were determined to get a picture of the Princess, and despite the entire shop being closed, and the Royal Party taking a seat on the second floor of the establishment, some photographers were able to get some shots of the potential gown.

One gown in particular seemed to move HM Queen Aisling, who stood up from the couch where she and the other ladies were watching on, to admire her daughter.

We can't help but wonder- Did the Princess find her dress for the big day?

1980s Wedding Gowns Part 1

Like I said in the "Little 80s Victorians" post, I was going to post some more clothes related to this peculiar fashion trend of the 1980s, but the problem is, I found quite a few dresses that would work in an 80s game, should anyone want their Sim ladies to get married, so I'm thinking about doing just 3 or 4 dresses per post, so they don't get too long. 

The 1980s was a time when wedding gowns were really over-the-top.  We're talking, 80s-meets-Victorian-fairy-tale-fantasy look.  Brides went all-out with their gowns to look their best on their wedding day.  An iconic bridal gown of this era belongs to none other than Princess Diana, whose look was copied by millions of women around the world for the entire decade. 

I couldn't get the precise silhouette, but I think these dresses will work for this theme :D. 

This particular gown has always been a favorite of mine.  It's part of the Megan Wedding Gown Collection.  These dresses work great for so many themes: fantasy story, ballroom scene, a historical scene for, say, the 1660s; definitely okay for a lavish 1980s wedding, or even, re-creating Sarah from the "Labyrinth" movie!  (Which is also an 80s film!)  Anyway, I posted a picture of the white dress for weddings, though it comes in other colors, should the bride not want to wear white. 

I like this dress because it reminds me of my mom's real life wedding dress.  She made it herself, and she chose a simpler, more elegant design.  You can find it at Shades of Pleasantview.

This dress also reminds me of mom's wedding dress.  It's simple, very Victorian, and would work just fine at a Sim bride's 1980s wedding.  I found it on Page 7 for Formal Clothing at Parsimonious.
