En 1942, Simon Wiesenthal se retrouve dans la chambre d'un jeune soldat SS en train de mourir, qui se repent des crimes immondes qu'il a déjà commis en sa courte vie et voudrait obtenir le pardon d'une personne juive avant de mourir. Vous lisez bien, il demande à un homme qu'on veut tuer par le travail ou envoyer dans une chambre à gaz de lui pardonner d'avoir massacré ses semblables. Ce qui s'est passé ce jour-là hantera le survivant toute sa vie, le poussera à solliciter les avis, l'intelligence et l'humanité d'autres survivants, de philosophes, de penseuses, de journalistes. Essayer de savoir et comprendre ce qu'elles et ils auraient fait dans la même situation. Aucune réponse simple à une telle demande, mais des dizaines de réponses passionnantes et très émouvantes. La voix de Thierry Lhermitte est familière, amicale, mais que l'on n'attend pas dans un texte au thème si douloureux, sensible. Et c'est ce qui si magique dans le théâtre: il permet aux acteurs et actrices de changer de registre, d'explorer d'autres facettes de leur talent. Son interprétation, très sobre, très élégante, fut parfaite. Au terme du spectacle, il nous a laissés saisis d'émotion, la gorge nouée, et il a fallu quelques minutes pour nous ressaisir. After taking a pretty solid stance following being handed the pink slip by ViacomCBS for his anti-Semitic comments, Nick Cannon is now saying sorry…again

The Wild ‘N Out general took a step back and apologized for his anti-Semitic remarks he made just 24 hours after he dropped somewhat of an apology. In that same breath, he also called for ViacomCBS to give him full ownership of his billion-dollar Wild ‘N Out brand he claims he was finessed out of.

In his newest apology, Cannon takes full responsibility for the anti-Semitic comments that were dropped on his Cannon Class series.

“First and foremost, I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin.”

“They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people, and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naive place that these words came from.”Cannon also revealed the video which featured ex-Public Enemy member, Professor Griff, who was well-known for comments he made back in the ’80s claiming “Jews spreading wickedness around the world,” has been taken down.

His apology seems to have saved his gig on Fox’s hit game show The Masked Singer, in a statement Fox announced it was sticking with Cannon.

“Nick has sincerely apologized and quickly taken steps to educate himself and make amends.” 

The media mogul has also revealed that he has spoken with Rabbi Abraham Cooper, director of global social action stating that his first words to him were an apology for the hurt he caused to the Jewish community.

Permintaan Maaf BTS Diterima Organisasi Anti-Nazi

Liputanviral - Organisasi Simon Wiesenthal Center mengumumkan bahwa mereka telah menerima permintaan maaf boyband BTS atas kontroversi terkait busana yang dikenakan. Hal itu disampaikannya dalam sebuah unggahan di akun media sosial resminya. "Simon Wiesenthal Center menyambut permintaan maaf grup K-Pop BTS untuk insiden member grup yang mengenakan topi dengan simbol NAZI, kemudian member lain dengan kaus bergambar bom atom Perang Dunia ke II dan bendera NAZI yang berkibar di konser-- yang menyinggung korban Holocaust dan korban bom atom Hiroshima dan Nagasaki di Jepang," demikian pernyataan organisasi anti-semitisme itu dalam situsnya. https://twitter.com/simonwiesenthal/status/1062507572794540032 Dalam dua minggu belakangan, BTS memang menjadi bahan perbicangan hangat warganet. Kali ini bukan soal karya gemilang atau rekor baru yang mereka pecahkan, melainkan kontroversi atas atribut yang dikenakan para anggotanya di beberapa kesempatan. Hal ini diawali dengan salah satu anggotanya, Ji Min, yang dianggap mengolok-olok korban bom Nagasaki lewat karikatur yang tertera di kausnya. Polemik terus berlanjut dengan sebuah protes Simon Wiesenthal Center atas topi yang dikenakan RM pada sebuah sesi foto serta bendera yang dikibarkan di sebuah penampilan pelantun 'FAKE LOVE' ini. Kedua atribut tersebut dianggap menyematkan semangat NAZI sekaligus menyinggung perasaan para korban kekejaman NAZI pada Perang Dunia II. Menanggapi hal itu, pihak agensi BTS Big Hit Entertainment menyampaikan permintaan maaf dan mengatakan bahwa mereka menyadari akan insiden yang tengah menimpa artisnya. "Big Hit Entertainment sangat sadar akan tanggung jawab kita, karena tidak ada alasan bahwa kita gagal menyaring masalah dan menyesalinya. Kami akan terus mendidik diri kami sendiri, menjadi lebih peka terhadap hal-hal semacam itu, dan melindungi artis kami dari insiden seperti itu dan implikasi yang mungkin mereka bawa. Kami dengan tulus meminta maaf kepada siapa pun yang tersinggung," tulisnya. Dia melanjutkan, "Perlu dicatat bahwa sang seniman telah berbagi pesan baru-baru ini di PBB, yang menunjukkan keyakinan konsisten mereka bahwa mencintai diri sendiri dan cinta untuk orang lain adalah yang paling penting di dunia saat ini, dan itu adalah pesan global untuk sang seniman. Baik Big Hit maupun para seniman berharap untuk terus menyebarkan pesan itu dan berbagi cinta untuk semua umat manusia." Dalam pernyataan tersebut, agensi yang terbentuk pada 2005 silam itu juga menjelaskan soal topi yang dipakai RM. Pihaknya menyebutkan bahwa topi tersebut merupakan pemberian dari pihak yang penyelenggara. Baik RM maupun pihak penyelenggarapun tak bermaksud untuk menyinggung pihak manapun, terlebih korban holokaus NAZI. Perihal bendera mirip NAZI, pihak agensi membenarkan memang bendera tersebut dikibarkan pada penampilan BTS di konser ulang tahun 2017 dari boyband legendaris, Seo Taiji. Namun, pengibaran tersebut dimaksudkan justru untuk mengkritisi sistem pendidikan yang totaliter dan terpaku pada standar semata. "Gambar pada bendera tersebut murni sebuah karya seni dan tak ada hubungannya soal Nazisme. Pesan dari penampilan tersebut justru ditujukan untuk mengkritisi sistem pendidikan yang distandarisasi. Jika dikaitkan dengan Nazisme, maka hal ini tidak benar sama sekali sebab maksud penampilan kala itu untuk mengkritisi realita totalitarian semacam itu," jelasnya. Dalam pernyataannya lebih lanjut, agensi bentukan Bang Si Hyuk ini juga menyatakan akan menyeleksi dengan lebih saksama atribut dan pakaian yang akan dikenakan para anggota BTS. "Prinsip kami adalah memberikan kenyamanan dan luapan rasa melalui musik dan artis kami. Di ke depannya, kami akan lebih hati-hati mempertimbangkan detil promosi sehingga tak menimbulkan kerugian untuk orang lain," tulis Big Hit.
