ok so silver scream con was the absolute best experience ever. spencer charnas is a fucking angel (he called me sweetheart and my knees literally gave out. i was shaking like a fucking chihuahua). doug bradley is a god damn icon and we talked about music for like 10 minutes (he's a fan of ghost too!) and now the only thing left to do is get spencer's handwriting tattooed on meeeee. im literally the happiest little bean rn🖤🔪

Horror-inspired metal band Ice Nine Kills are putting their bloody finger prints all over Silver Scream Con, a new horror convention taking place August 26-28 at the Doubletree Boston North Shore in Danvers, MA.

The guest list features Skeet Ulrich (Scream), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th Part VII-X), Nick Castle (Halloween), Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects), Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4-5), Tom Arnold (Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare), James Jude Courtney (Halloween 2018), and Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas.

Other guests include Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Paul Soter (Super Troopers), Erik Stolhanske (Super Troopers), Ricky Dean Logan (Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare), Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary), Andrew Bryniarski (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie), Chris Owen (American Pie), Douglas Tait (Freddy vs. Jason), hip hop duo Twiztid, and more.

In addition to celebrity meet-and-greets, the weekend’s events feature professional photo ops (including in-costume ops with Ice Nine Kills, Hodder, Moseley, Harris, Bryniarski, and Twiztid), panels hosted by MTV's Ryan J. Downey, vendors, a costume contest, and a museum of Ice Nine Kills memorabilia.

Ice Nine Kills will headline an intimate, sold-out concert on Saturday night at the nearby Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA with support from Twiztid and First Jason. Friday night will have a karaoke party.

Tickets for Silver Scream Con are on sale now, with prices ranging from $30-40 per day or $70 for a weekend pass. I’ll be there, and I hope to see you too!
