re-reading the manga, i always had this feeling that itachi never wanted to stay alive. maybe im the only one.. 🤨

He really had no will to live once he massacred his clan. I doubt he had any desire to live before that as well. In Sasuke's flashbacks he looks completely lost and helpless and reacts positively only to Sasuke being around. Once he killed his clan, and just in case, there was no Sasuke, he would have killed himself too. But the travesty of all of this is that he forcefully prolonged his life so he could die in Sasuke's presence.

He was never raised to be a normal kid. He was both a tool and a sacrifice, used as just that by his clan and the village both. He never had much of a choice in how he turned out because of being brought up in a strict household with equally strict clan vs village ideals.

So, when he left the village and throughout his life afterwards, owing to his guilt, he lived like a tool that could be useful to Sasuke eventually. Sasuke would be the hero of the village, Sasuke would be strong enough to protect himself from the likes of Danzo and 'Madara'.

So, yeah. He didn't want to live at all and he'd be at peace in death, despite our desire to watch him live longer.

oh, black cat was always about the mystery... she was in it for the funsies, for the sexy. she was kind of obsessed with spider-man. like, the romantic ideal of him.

until peter unmasked and you know what actually? he is a broke loser who does thankless work without seeking fame or fortune

and not only that but he's a goofball romantic who is this close to an all-out marriage proposal

so any cool-guy bravado that spider-man had, peter parker totally blew. because peter parker is a loser, and an emotionally-needy little cornball, and just not what felicia signed up for, at all.
